Melascula was slightly playing with her zipper, floating around the tavern while Elizabeth was making some lunch for the two of them. While Melascula didn't know how to cook, she did know a couple of recipes she loved and taught them to Elizabeth. The first couple days, she had to watch closely as Elizabeth cooked but she grew more comfortable with them so Melascula was free to relax. "I can't believe it's been a month already." Melascula said herself. "Yeah and you've changing yourself for the better, Melascula. I'm really proud of you!" Elizabeth said sweetly, having heard the demon. Melascula blushed heavily. "I haven't done that much yet..." she said, shyly. "You're still trying and that's what matters. You're helping me around the tavern, you fight off demons when they attack, and you come with me to help save people when being attacked. You even took the time to carry golgius back here to rest. You're a good person now, Melascula!" Elizabeth assured. Melascula blushed harder. "E...Elizabeth. Thank you for everything." Melascula pushed out. "And getting better at social skills." Elizabeth pointed out. Melascula smiled as she came down on her feet. It was true. Melascula has found her hatred dying for humans and... she didn't know how to say it yet but Elizabeth was now her best friend. She was truly someone she needed to see the light.

A bang and the door revealing a suit of armor. "Elizabeth. Get behind me!" Melascula ordered. "Princess Elizabeth?." The man in the suit looked to see her. "Who are you?" Melascula questioned. The man took off his helmet to reveal...

Zaratras

"Would you have been the one to revive me?" He asked in return. Melascula had completely forgot about the revival spell she casted. Souls with hatred or regrets can live again. "Yes." Melascula answered, reluctantly. "I knew I recognized your face. Ah, Elizabeth!" He turned to the princess. "You've grown so much. I almost didn't recognize you in vaizel. My, you've grown into a lovely young woman." Zaratras exclaimed. "I don't believe it. I must be dreaming." Elizabeth said, taken back by the sight of zaratras's long dead face. "You're not." Melascula reassured. Zaratras turned to look back at Melascula.

"You're pissed at me, aren't you." Melascula asked, knowing everything she's done. "Actually I'm more pissed at myself. Who would've suspected that the black cat fish pie would be poisoned. Are you familiar with it."

"Huh?" Melascula asked in a utter surprise. She knew this wasn't ban but she sure expected him to be almost as vengeful. That was one hell she did not want to go through again. "That's my father and sisters favorite pie too." Elizabeth said, slightly recovering from the shock of seeing him again. "Of course they are." He said in awe of the wonderful pie. "This is who you had as grandmaster?" Hawk asked in disbelief. "Yes, he's more serious when working."

A few minutes later

Elizabeth poured some tea for zaratras and Melascula had eaten her lunch. She put up her plate and had sat down by zaratras. "So your spell, Melascula. Placing a grudge on the soul and then resurrecting them." Zaratras said, now looking at her. "Yes...I learned that spell years ago. Wanted to terrorize humans with my commandment."

"And why aren't you with them now?"

"A REALLY bad day for me." Melascula answered, rubbing the side of her head. "Wait! If I revived you, you would be completely different. What's your grudge?"

"Dreyfus and hendy. For not seeing they were being controlled by your friend." Zaratras said, now drinking the tea. "I'm sorry." Melascula said. Elizabeth noticed Melascula's mood and offers her some booze. Melascula takes the beer and starts jugging. "So does Gil know you've come back." Elizabeth asked, changing the subject. "What can I say to him after all this time. Oh he'll be in more than shock. What if he's forgotten what I look like? I was never my son's favorite! He was always in awe over sir Meliodas. Where is he anyway? I need to give him a piece of my mind!" Zaratras asked, now done with the tea.

Melascula looked up, to Elizabeth, to make sure her friend wasn't going to have a meltdown. Elizabeth began walking up the stairs, with zaratras following, to open the door to his room. Melascula hovered above to give room.

"He looks absolutely untouched. Only a powerful Druid could've done that." Zaratras said. "This power is...completely useless. His hearts still won't beat. I'll never see his sweet smile again..." Elizabeth said, trembling. "Elizabeth..." Melascula said, feeling sorrowful. "What should I do, sir zaratras?" Elizabeth said, with her eyes tearful.

"Why not ask him directly?"
