Early the next morning, Tony wakes up and instantly throws off the covers remembering what happens the night before. Making his way to Angela's bedroom door, Tony soon realizes the lock is undone and heads inside.

"Angela," Tony whispers once he is kneeling at the side of Angela's bed. "Angela wake up. We need to talk about us."

"What about us?" She mumbles trying to stay asleep. Sighing, Tony announces, "About our marriage!"

Now awake, Angela asks, "What about it?"

Part of her fears Tony will want an annulment. Instead, Tony asks about setting ground rules. Sighing, Angela decides to sit up in bed. Nodding for Tony to sit down, Angela waits until he is sitting on the edge of her bed before asking, "What kind of rules were you thinking of?"

"Well," Tony starts, "First I think we should keep this away from the kids like we said last night."

"Agreed," Angela replies. Staring at his hands and then her own, Angela realizes they need to get wedding bands. Looking back at Tony, she adds, "Second, we cannot tell my mother. And I think we should keep this away from anyone who doesn't need to know."

"So, a secret marriage that only we know about?" Tony questions. Nodding, Angela answers, "In name only."

Seeing the man's eyebrow raise, Angela amends, "Sort of."

"Sort of," Tony parrots adding boldly, "Does that sort of include a kiss or two?"

"Absolutely," Angela answers with a smile before leaning in to officially kiss Tony good morning.

It takes all of a week for Tony and Angela to accidentally tell Mona about their marriage. Separately, of course. Tony accidentally blabs when Mona comes in asking about breakfast only to find Tony cooking Angela's favorite. Telling Tony that he spoils her daughter by cooking waffles, Mona is shocked when Tony answers, "Why shouldn't I cook my wife's—I, er, mean my boss's favorite breakfast."

Wide eyed, Mona starts, "Oh, no, no, no. I heard wife Tony! What's going on?"

Reluctantly, Tony tells her adding seriously that she cannot tell the kids. Mona agrees only if she can hear the full story. However, that is something Tony decides is a better conversation for both him and Angela to have with her.

"Alright, but I want to know by the end of the week," Mona pouts stealing a cooked waffle from the plate.

"But you won't tell the kids, right?" Tony practically begs. Shaking her head, knowing how private both her daughter and Tony are, Mona tells him the kids will be none the wiser. What she fails to mention is that she will trick her daughter into telling her.

For Angela, Mona eases Tony into the conversation on their way home from work by asking about what Angela may want for dinner to which Angela says she is not picky. Adding, "Whatever he wants is fine. I figure the kids won't want what I want anyway."

With a laugh, Mona remarks how much Angela and Tony sound like a married couple. With a blush, Angela laughs awkwardly at the comment before Mona jokes, "Imagine, you two married!"

Knowing Tony may not like what she is about to do, but unable to keep it a secret, Angela asks her mother, "What if you didn't have to imagine?"

Feigning shock, Mona asks, "Angela? Did you and Tony get married?"

Nodding, Angela answers, "Last week. At Isabel and Doyle's wedding."

"Angela, we were kidding! But good for you for taking the plunge!"

Rolling her eyes, Angela sarcastically answers, "Thank you, Mother."

"Tell me everything!" Mona practically demands knowing her daughter is easier to manipulate than Tony. Shaking her head, Angela answers emphasizing the last word, "Not here."

"Fine," Mona answers with an exaggerated sigh crossing her arms and sinking lower in her seat. However, when the train stops at their station, Mona makes sure to stay a little behind her daughter since Tony is picking them up. She only briefly sees Tony and Angela share a kiss before teasing the newlyweds. When Tony's eyes go wide, Angela explains, "She knows."

"So now you two can tell me everything on the car ride home!" Mona announces gleefully. Resigned to their fate, Tony and Angela explain the entire story to the red head who listens with rapt attention excited to finally see something good happen to the pair. Just as they reach their street, the couple finishes telling their story due to unforeseen corrections and meandering side stories leaving Mona to sit almost stunned before asking, "Have you two done anything but kiss?"

"Mother!" Angela exclaims just as Tony answers, "I wish."
