![]() Author has written 57 stories for Hellsing, Labyrinth, and Vampire Knight. Hallo! I figured I might as well use this space for a handy dandy guide to my little cameos. Wouldn't you just love to know all the different facets of my OC? Well, no, not everything, that would take forever, and I don't need more excuses to slack off on my writing! Nekette/Ketti (Neh-Keht)- Nekoverse - First fledgling of Alucard, completely insane, and has a thing for Seras. She wears her "husband's" shirts, that are far too big on her, has a habit of dancing with corpses she's dug up from their graves, and constantly smells of blood and mint, with the occasional waft of grave dirt and rotting meat, depending on when her last dance was. A) Mismatched eyes - right red, blue left. Silver hair, normally kept long, around waist length is her favorite, but it varies depending on her mood. (If she starts ripping her hair out? Run.) B) Crazy powerful, never really shows it, only obeys Alucard if she feels like it (or anyone stronger than her, but they have to prove it), and her "husband" - who is a werewolf, but he's not around much - and manifests a pair of black cat ears and a tail from her shadows. C) Will do almost anything for a shiny. (Tinfoil, gems, stained glass, bells are her favorite.) D) Unpredictable; crazy. Calm one moment, beserker rage the next, she's a firm believer in friendly fire, and plays off her responsibility by blaming her unstable mind. Which is only partially true - she could be as sane as houses, but she enjoys the freedom being "that crazy lady" brings. (More points to come, as they are revealed or needed.) Please ask if you'd like to include her as a villan or comic relief! I don't bite, that's her job, and 90% of the time I'll say 'Awesome!' and give you some pointers on her behavior. Nekette/Kette (Neh-Keht)- JuJuverse (Jubalii) -First fledgling of Alucard, eldest of four known fledglings; herself, the twins Issak and Katya, and of course, Seras. The same in many ways, her insanity is a bit more tempered. She holds a position of power in the vampire council, partially for Alucard's amusement, and because in times of stress, she has the capacity to put aside her "Crazy Mantle" and lead. She, of course, reverts once a more suitable candidate is found. Her appearance can be a dead give away to her mood; especially ware her eyes matching. (She explains it all quite wonderfully in her DeviantArt picture of Nekette.) Neekz (Knee-ks) (Nekette) - Nekoverse - Avatar - A very laid back vampire, with a subtle hint of insanity at the edges, Neekz keeps her hair in pigtails at all times, loving the way the hair tickles her cheeks when she shakes her head. A scar runs across her right eye, perhaps the reason behind the iris color changing to red, which she hides behind her bangs. Unlike the above aspects of Nekette, Neekz is not related to Vlad Teppes, and, in fact, has no idea who her Sire actually is. Her concept of time is a little skewed, so she's unsure how old she truly is, but believes herself to be around two centuries, give or take a couple decades. When she was turned she was immediately cast away, as her Sire was but a fledgling himself, and during his drinking of her blood, had covered her mouth with his hand so she wouldn't scream. She bit him, and barely survived the transition from mortal to Midian. Similar to Nekette, she has a very close bond with a werewolf, as hers found her wandering the streets and starving, taking her in and collaring her as his own. She still wears the collar today. However, Neekz's werewolf was hunted down and presumably destroyed, because she hasn't seen hide nor hair of him in nearly a century. She wears the miniature padlock as a sign of the restraint she puts upon her unstable urges. Her choice in clothing always favors the loose and baggy, preferring to shop for men's shirts, as she likes the way they remind her of her Master. (He called himself Grin.) Preferring to watch from the shadows, she has the unnerving habit of appearing behind you in an empty room and whispering directly into your ear. Sometimes it's helpful advice, others it's simply to say 'hello' and watch you jump. A) Mismatched eyes, right red, left blue. Silver hair, kept in pigtails, appears shoulder length, but is actually longer if kept loose. B) Wears men's shirts, in neutral tones, often choosing soft shades of grey. Her bottoms vary from pants to shorts to skirts, depending on the season. She generally wears comfortable sandals that match her handbag. C) Always carries a handbag with her, which contains her current favorite book, money, a very nicely forged fake ID, a matching credit card, a cell phone, and a few other things that shall remain secret for now. Every cat needs their bag of tricks, after all. D) Very laid back, with a nasty habit of shadow walking and eavesdropping. E) Doesn't much care for covens or their territory disputes, it doesn't matter how powerful she is, what matters is that she doesn't want your terf. If push comes to shove, the chains come off, quite literally in the case of her loose chain-link necklace and the lock charm secured in the middle. When "unleashed" she is quite unpredictable, liable to turn on anything that moves be it friend or foe. She refers to it as her feral state, and, indeed, she acts much like an animal, with her snarling and biting. F) Actually considered a bit of a coward, she prefers the term pacifist. She refuses to participate in fights unless forced, which is often a bad idea. It is rare to see Neekz stick around when trouble rears its ugly head, but she has been known to play double agent for the sake of amusement. G) Has a special place in her undead little heart for shiny things, and especially origami creations. Tinfoil is her favorite medium, but she will use anything on hand when the mood strikes. H) Is not a 'vegetarian', but she is fortunate in that her lineage does not include the curse of ghouls. She will drink bagged blood when offered, and often stocks her fridge with the packets wherever she goes. Often choosing a nice middle class hotel until she decides if she likes the city or not, in which case she'll rent a low key apartment. I) Has quite the attachment to cats of any breed, and has a few homesteads looked after by dedicated (or perhaps hypnotized?) humans in various countries where she sends her rescue cats to life out the remainder of their lives - they are fixed, of course. There are rumors that Neekz even has a pet white tiger she rescued from an abusive circus, but this has yet to be proven. K) Prefers to stay low key and anonymous, she is still fairly well known in the supernatural community. Not discriminatory of race, she will befriend anything that will have her company. (More to come as it's revealed/needed.)
Now, that would be telling. ;) |
