"Ace-kun, are you okay?" Inko asked the boy, them and Izuku shopping for dinner for their sleepover. They were having soba for the night. Ace was staring at the raw meat section, and noticed he had drool in his mouth. The red meat looked so juicy. "Ace-kun?"
Izuku walked over and followed Ace's line of sight, and picked out a raw sliver of beef. "This?" he wondered in confusion.
"Ah, I see. Does that look yummy for you?" Ace reluctantly nodded, knowing people don't eat raw meat. "Well, it's normal for half-dragons to be interested, but it will make you ill, so you shouldn't attempt to eat raw meat, okay?" she said kindly. Ace blushed and nodded. He wondered how Inko knew all that stuff. "I've done my research. You're Izuku's best friend, of course I'll do my best to make you comfortable and welcome," she said kindly.
Ace smiled and nodded. While they shopped, Ace was glared at or judged. He glared back, only he had an emotional pout on, too, bothered by it all. "Hey, stop staring at him!" Izuku suddenly shouted angrily. His voice echoed, and his friend and mother were shocked. "Go away and stop looking," he insisted.
"You don't gotta do that," Ace said, but felt happy his best friend stuck up for him when he didn't need to. Izuku crossed his arms, upset that people treated Ace that way. Inko patted his head affectionately. It was good to stick up for your friends, and he'd done a good job at it. The green haired boy flushed and smiled lightly before the pout returned and he went to hug Ace, who gladly hugged him back. He had a great friend!
Izuku was very grumpy for the rest of the day, which was unusual. He was really upset over the treatment of Ace by complete strangers. His new daycare wasn't so mean anymore, but Ace was still being kept at home as precaution. He wished he could go with his friend, but Makino and Dadan were firm on their decision.
They had the yummy dinner, and Ace was brought back home when he got a bad headache and wanted to go home. He didn't know where it came from, but it did hurt. So the two Midoriyas took him home late at night, the shorter one sleeping in his car seat while Ace had his eyes closed, wishing to sleep, too.
When they got home, Inko walked Ace to the front door, Izuku still sleeping in his carseat. "I hope your headache goes away soon, Ace," Inko said quietly, and Ace nodded, his little backpack of clothes and toothbrush inside. He went inside and climbed the stairs sleepily, falling asleep the moment his head hit his pillow.

"Makino, can I please go to daycare with Izuku? I'll come back if they're mean to me!" Ace begged. He was tired of being stuck at home all day, never getting to go anywhere unless Inko brought him. He was bored of the same puzzles and coloring books every day, day after day. It was annoying, and he wanted something new! To be with new kids.
The woman looked down at him with a look of sympathy before she sighed and gave him a smile. "Alright. I'll sign you up tonight. But if they try to hurt you or are mean, you're not going to stay. You've stopped teething, and the hearing has gotten better, so hopefully things won't be bad," she said lightly and ruffled his hair affectionately. Ace cheered and ran to get the phone, pressing the buttons he memorized to press to call his friend and give him the news.
Izuku was overjoyed for Ace to come back! He was lonely, even if there were no bullies there. It would be through summer, and then they'd be in kindergarten, a big step in life! They'd become more big boys soon enough. Ace was kind of scared, but also excited. He just hoped to stay with his best friend, or it would be more scary.
Ace would be going to the new daycare the next day, and hoped things would go better then. He made sure to pick out a good outfit. Since it was cold, he could wear long sleeves that hid the feathers on the backs of his arms and his back. His tail would curl around his leg in pants. He was glad it was cold, and could also wear a beanie. Makino said he couldn't have new eye colors (colored contacts) because he was much too young.
So hopefully nobody noticed his slitted pupils too much. He had trouble sleeping that night, but managed to get five hours or so. He'd gone downstairs for a chocolate milk, not knowing that sugar would just keep him up longer. But when morning came, he was unaffected by the sleep based on his apprehension and excitement.
The new daycare was not near their house, or Izuku's. They had to go to further ones, and both were picked up from there now on. Inko usually drove Ace home without Makino even asking. Ace wished he had a nice mommy like Inko. Izuku was very lucky. When he was driven there, he saw it was smaller than the previous one, so hopefully less kids.
He had his dinosaur backpack on that carried his blanky. He wouldn't use it, but liked having it there just in case he would need it for something, though he didn't know what. He walked in, and saw Izuku sitting next to the door, waiting for Ace to arrive. When he did, he looked mostly normal. No horns or feathers in sight!
"Ace! You really came!" Izuku cheered and hugged him. "Come meet my friends. I made friends here!" Ace smiled, not jealous about not being his only friend. Ace put his things in the cubby like the other daycare, and was pulled along with his friend to meet the others. "This is Tenya-kun and Tsu-chan! They're really nice to me. This is my best friend, Ace!" he explained.
Tenya shook his hand firmly. "It's nice to meet you, Ace-kun," he said formally. Seemed like a serious guy, but had a nice voice. Ace felt he was a nice guy because he was friends with Izuku. This was a much better place than the other one! Tsu was a girl with long dark green hair like Makino and held her hands up in a weird way. Ace wondered if it was from a quirk. And Tenya had pipes in his legs, so he wondered what that was. "How long have you known Midoriya-kun?" Tenya wondered. Ace said for a year. They met at daycare. "I see. It's good to meet a friend of his!" Yeah, he seemed formal but nice, luckily.
Tsu asked him if he had a quirk. "Not to be nosy, of course. I'm just curious, there are many diverse quirks here, too!" she said brightly. She had a barbie in her hand that had choppy hair, like she'd tried to style it herself. Ace hummed before saying he was quirkless like Izuku. It was true, he was being honest, not having a quirk. "Oh. It's so amazing the two of you met. Quirkless people aren't common, after all, ribbit," she said. "My quirk is having frog abilities. It's hard to control sometimes, though," she said honestly, her finger to her chin.
"I have engines on my legs that make me run faster. I'm sure I could kick harder, too, but I'm not ready for such actions! My dream is to be a hero like my family, my big brother is amazing! I want to be just like him!" Tenya explained positively.
"Izuku wants to be a hero, too!" he said bluntly. Izuku blushed and looked down. "He'll be a hero even if he doesn't have any quirk. He just hasta work harder than others," Ace said with a proud smile.
Tenya declared, "What a kind friend! I'm honored to meet someone like you!" Ace giggled. This place was nicer so far, and Ace hadn't snapped at anyone for awhile after leaving the previous daycare. He felt nicer, and liked that. Being angry or snappy wasn't nice for those around him, and he didn't want anyone to hate him if he could help it.
"I'd like to be a hero as well. I'd be the only one in my family, but it would still be amazing. Do you want to be a hero?" she wondered. They were sitting on the carpet now, Tsu fiddling with the choppy hair of her barbie, who she'd colored or painted green on the legs and arms. Ace hummed, and then said he didn't think people would want to work with him. He said it matter of factly. "Why?" Tsu wondered in surprise.
Ace said people just didn't like him much. "I don't wanna talk about it," he said, shutting down more questions, both new friends not pressing him, which was nice. He didn't want anyone to know here what he was. He wanted friends! They played for a while, Tsu with her barbie and the other three with dinosaur figures or robot toys. It was fun, having more than one friend there. And he was happy they were nice even though they knew now that both Izuku and Ace were quirkless. But it was a fun day, and the teacher was really nice! Ace was sure she knew about what he was, but didn't have a problem with him being there. He could hide the traits as best as he could.
When it was time to go home, Inko picking Ace up, both boys were in a great mood, and happily shared about the day and how they played with their two new friends. Newer for Ace than Izuku. He had a great day, and was very satisfied with it. Making friends was nice, even if he was hiding what he was. half-dragon, and therefore only half human.

Ace huffed when he woke up to see a white feather in his hair. It showed up overnight, and was a real feather, not downy at all. He hadn't gotten any long feathers anywhere else, though. He took the feather in his hand and yanked it out, only for the now wound to start bleeding, and Ace screamed and cried and ran to Makino's room, banging on the door since it was early in the morning. He'd only woken up because the feather was uncomfortable. But now it stung badly.
"Maaakinooo!" he wailed, and the door swung open, Makino in sleep clothes and looking worried. She asked what was wrong, and Ace held up the feather with the bloody tip. "I hu-hurt my head!" he cried. She crouched and hugged him, asking what had happened in more detail. "There was a fe-feather in my hair and I pulled it out and it hurts!" he cried.
"I'll get you some motrin and tea, how about that? It should help with the pain, but let's disinfect it first," she said sympathetically, holding his hand and walking with him to the kitchen. He took two pills and then drank some warm tea once it had cooled off a bit. There wasn't a bandage over the cleaned hole, and it had stopped bleeding. He noticed there were white feathers under his hair, covered by the thick black locks. They were harder to see, but Ace felt them when he rubbed his head.
He couldn't sleep again, and stayed in the living room and watched cartoons. But they were anime playing right now, though he watched it even if it wasn't the first episode and he didn't know what was going on really. He did fall back to sleep before it was time to take a bath and go to daycare. But when he woke up, he worried over the feathers being seen under the hat. The horns were stubby enough to not be seen under the hats. He wanted to hide what he was as long as possible. Nobody was too mean about knowing Ace and Izuku were both quirkless.
When he did go there after blow drying the feathers, he really was worried, and not in a good mood. He was subdued when he got there, and went straight to Izuku who was already coloring in a coloring book. He looked up and saw Ace's downcast look, and asked what had happened. "I had a feather in my hair, and it hurt when I pulled it out," he said honestly. "I don't like it."
"Well, no matter what happens, I'll still be there! Don't worry about that," Izuku promised. "Even if I can't protect you like, physically, I'll be there when you're sad and all." Ace smiled and nodded in agreement. It sounded like a plan! But Ace was still uneasy, though not as much at the moment.
They both went to play with their friends outside. Tenya always won at tag, even if he didn't use his quirk, and Tsu was fast, too, and could get to higher places to stay out of range for whoever was it. She also used her tongue to tag people out. Even when they said it wasn't fair, she giggled and did it more. Her quirk was very interesting but kind of gross when she said she'd once thrown up her stomach. Gross!
"Are you okay, Ace-kun?" she asked, seeing Ace feeling down at the end of the day. He nodded. He was okay. Not great, really, but okay. Tenya invited them all to his house, and they asked their parents or guardians before confirming at the end of the day. Ace had only ever been to Izuku's house, but he hadn't had real friends ever before, so it made sense he'd never gone to anyone else's house.
When they got there the next day, the house was huge and fancy! "Wow! It's so big," Ace said, his friend nodding. Tsu said she expected it to be that big because Tenya's family were heroes, or had been heroes and were retired. Izuku couldn't wait to meet a pro-hero personally! Ace smiled, glad he was excited and not sad about being quirkless and possibly unable to be a hero some day.
When they went inside, the place was squeaky clean and pretty white. White tile, carpet and walls. It was big, too, and Tenya's room was big, as well. He had a big bed, not like Ace's, and books on the walls. "You can read?!" Ace asked in shock. Tenya blushed and said they were for when he could read. He couldn't right now. But the wall was colorful with all the types of books, arranged by color so the red was at the top left and the bottom white was black. Very cool! And some were very thick, which made Ace think Tenya was very smart, or would be.
His brother came in, wanting to meet his little brother's friends. The three were introduced by the excited boy with glasses. His name was Tensei, and would be called that name by them instead of his hero name. He had a nice face, and looked like a caring man. He was a hero, too! And Izuku asked him all sorts of questions about his occupation. Tensei was more than willing to do that.
Then he turned to Ace, and smiled. "I've never met a half-dragon before." Ace frowned and looked down. The two friends were shocked and confused, and Tensei immediately looked regretful. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a secret," he said sincerely. Ace wasn't happy, and asked to go home.
"Why?" Tenya asked. "I didn't know, but I don't see a big deal. Is it a bad thing?" he wondered.
"Don't tell anyone else. People don't like me cause'a that," Ace mumbled. Tsu lightly said they were still friends, and he didn't need to worry at all. But he was still not liking them knowing. But both promised they wouldn't spread it around if Ace didn't want them to. He confirmed that he wanted it a secret. He was annoyed with Tensei, even if he hadn't meant any harm. He had trouble not glaring at him. But he didn't want to be rude to Tenya's family. He did his best to not be snappy to people he cared about anymore.
They all played regardless of the secret being spilled. Ace was glad he had good friends. For now, they were good. He hoped they would stay friends as Ace got weirder with his developing dragon traits. He was just glad he didn't need to teeth, and people didn't pay much attention to the longer canines.

"...What?" Ace asked, all the boys and girls in the orphanage sitting in the living room while Makino and Dadan gave very upsetting news. They were all speechless before the crying started. They were just told the orphanage had to be shut down, and that they would all be going to foster homes, being separated. Ace would need to leave? But he liked it here, even with Dellinger being around and mean to him! Would new people accept him? Would the leaders be nice like Makino?! He didn't want to leave!
He was now one of the crying ones, and Makino tried to comfort them all, but it didn't stop the tears. They cried for a good hour before retiring, and isolating themselves from one another, whether that be by going into closets, the nine of them were separate.
After three hours of Ace staying in the coat closet, he called his best friend to give him the bad news. What if the new leader lady didn't let them have friends? He was scared of change! Not a good change, he liked Makino so much! Like a wonderful big sister to always take care of him. Would he never see her again?
"Oh no! I'm so sorry, Ace!" Izuku said in an upset voice. "Where will you go?"
"I dunno. Somewhere else. People might not accept me there! What if they all hate me and make fun of me?!" It wasn't a fun conversation. He talked and cried on the phone for a long time until he got tired and wanted to take a nap. He went to the couch, and buried himself under the quilt, falling asleep after so much crying that had tired him out.
It was a terrible day, truly.

"What?"
"How would you like to be a part of our family? I know it would be a big change, but you'll have a home and family. You and Izuku could be brothers if you want." Ace didn't know what to think. Was it out of pity? He asked that, voice meek and quiet. "Of course not. We just want you happy and in a place where others accept you. You can't be guaranteed that any new arrangement will give you what you need, but you know us and how accepting we are," Inko explained patiently, sitting on the couch in her home.
Izuku was in the other room, though Ace heard and knew he had his ear pressed to the door, listening in. "I know our place is small, but we do have an extra bedroom. We'll just move the furniture out so you have your own space."
"...Like a babysitter?" Ace wondered, still not understanding why she'd do that.
"No, like a mother," Inko said patiently on the couch. Ace said that more weird stuff would happen to him. He wasn't fully human. "I know. That doesn't change the fact that you're a good boy and need a family who will love and understand you. That hasn't changed ever since you were a baby. I'm willing to put in all the work for you to live happily. The apartment isn't as big as the house you've been in until now, and there's no backyard, but it could still be home."
Ace sniffled and rubbed his eyes, not wanting to cry. "You'll always have Izuku, and you can both protect one another as brothers, more than best friends. Would you like that?" Ace nodded. He loved being around Izuku, and he loved being around Ace. Growing up together and watching one another's back could be helpful. And Inko and Izuku never made him feel wrong or abnormal.
"I've spoken to Makino-san about it already, and she was very happy. But of course we needed to know your choice first. And it's a very big choice. So we'll give you some time to think about it if you need-"
"I don't need! I wanna live here!" Ace said firmly. Inko smiled warmly, and opened her arms, Ace hugging her. She was so nice, and wanted to be a real mommy to Ace? "You won't get tired of me? When more stuff happens, what if I ca-cause you trouble?" he asked against her chest, still hugging.
Inko ran her fingers through Ace's hair, and promised she would never abandon one of her children. They already saw him as family, the way he did to them. He cried for a long time before Izuku finally came running out of the room and jumped onto the couch to hug him. "We'll be brothers, now!" he exclaimed happily, sounding overjoyed and his eyes bright. "We're both not super normal, so we gotta always stick together!" Ace nodded, hugging him back, feeling truly happy. He'd have his own family, and a… mommy that had more attention for him!
So, so happy.
-x-
"It's okay to cry, Ace. You have been with these people as long as you can remember," Inko said kindly as Ace sobbed on his way to the car. He was the first to find a home, a real home, out of everyone else. Dellinger was bitter about it, and had spent their last night together telling him that his new family would get tired of him. Ace had hit him in the crotch, his fingernails sanded down to the bully's fortune.
Ace cried in the car while the others waved goodbye to him with smiles. Bittersweet smiles, but most of them were happy for him, not jealous or bitter. Izuku took his hand for comfort and said nothing. Ace had a small suitcase with a backpack with some personal toys and favorite picture books. He was having a real family, one that chose him. He wasn't forced to be there under sad circumstances.
He didn't remember his parents, but knew they'd died in a car crash that Ace had not been in. He didn't even have photos of them since they had ended up so mangled in the crash, and Ace was only a little under two at the time.
Eventually, the tears slowed and then stopped, and Ace fell asleep. When they got to his new home, Inko had already bought furniture for his room. He was carried inside while sleeping. He deserved some rest after the harsh and heartbreaking sobbing. Even if he was happy he was having a family that wanted him personally, it was still very hard.
The dragon boy was tucked into his bed. All the furniture was not new but for the mattress. Everything else came from a furniture thrift store. Inko didn't make a lot of money, most of the money came from Izuku's father abroad, who the son had never even met. Inko made money from selling extravagant blankets and clothes, knitted and crochet pieces she worked hard on.
Being a single mother made her have to spend much of her time at home for Izuku, so her business was from at home. She'd made Ace more than one sweater before. He had them in his suitcase. Izuku was so excited to have a brother, his best friend. They wouldn't be separated again, even if they went to other schools some day.
When Ace woke up, he wasn't disoriented by being somewhere new. He'd seen this room before, even though the furniture was different. The window was still the same, a corner window. There was a desk there with a not-matching chair, and a bookshelf that was empty. There was a dresser that had his clothes in it.
It was nothing too new. At his old home, there were no matching sets of furniture. There was a soft rug below that Inko had made long ago. He stood up and took a deep breath. "I have a family now, I can't be sad. No more Dellinger, too!" he said to himself, smiling at the thought of being somewhere where all he lived with accepted him fully, for his current non-human traits and those that would come later.
He left the room, holding his stuffed kangaroo that Makino bought him as a goodbye gift. He saw Inko was in the kitchen, and Izuku was looking at picture books, a small smile on. He looked up and beamed. "Welcome home!" he cheered, and got up to run over and hug him. Ace hugged him back, glad he could live with his best friend.
"We're having a feast tonight for your welcome. I'm even baking fudge brownies," Inko said brightly from the kitchen. Ace liked chocolate a lot! And food in general, he really liked eating. "If there's anything you'd like to make you more comfortable here, just tell me and I'll see what I can do," she said with an encouraging smile. Ace nodded emphatically.
Midoriya said, "We can play dress up! I have an All Might outfit! You should get one, too!" he said brightly. Ace was happy he was so happy to have him staying with them permanently.
Ace thought for a moment. "I want one with cat ears and angel wings! Then I'll be like a feathery cat!" he exclaimed. Inko chuckled from the kitchen quietly.
"All Might can beat dragons, I bet!"
"No way, he would be friends with them cause he's a good guy! Maybe he could make friends with them. Ooh, what if he had a dragon partner, and then they could fly to places," Ace said enthusiastically. Izuku said All Might was fast enough without flying. He didn't need a dragon. "But he'd look even stronger if he was friends with a dragon. Even cooler than already, right?"
Izuku agreed with that. It would be very cool. When dinner was served, both boys sat on booster seats since they were still so small. Ace had had dinner here multiple times, so it wasn't awkward and he wasn't worried if his eating bothered them. They had fun, and after the yummy food, they had many brownies. More than the adults usually allowed. The boys were stuffed and sleepy when bedtime came at 7:30.
Ace has soft classical music playing in his room since his hearing made him able to hear others in the complex on either side of their unit. So the music was relaxing and drowned them out. But he did hear Inko talking to Izuku, reminding him that she now had two little boys to give love to. "I can share mommy," Izuku said firmly.
Inko tucked Ace in, and wished him goodnight. "You can call me whatever feels comfortable. Even if it's not mommy. And I'd be happy if you called me that, but Inko is just fine, too." Ace nodded with sleepy eyes, and wished goodnight, going to bed for the first time in his own room just for him.
A family, huh? He had one. Ace had never met Izuku's dad, but hopefully he'd be happy with Ace being there. He drifted off to sleep with a small smile on.
The next morning, Ace was told they were all going shopping for more clothes for Ace. Some nice pajamas and new shoes. Also going to the hardware store to get some sandpaper to deal with Ace's fingernails if they got too pointy. Inko wasn't upset about it at all, and seemed just fine to take them shopping. Like she had done multiple times.
The boys both held hands in their car seats with music playing. Both of them were smiling lightly or widely. They got clothes and underwear first, and Izuku got some new pajamas too so he didn't feel left out. Ace chose polka dotted ones and his fri- brother got one with All Might's face on it. He really adored him. Ace hoped that they could meet him some day!
Ace got new shoes, since his were hand-me-downs, and three new outfits. Then they went to the hardware store, which Inko knew her way around because she was the one to do the housework, fix things when they broke. To save on money, she knew how to fix the washing machine on her own, if the plumbing messed up, any damage to the walls and floor. Ace thought it was super cool. Though he'd never lived with an adult man in the house, so he had no reason to believe that someone could do it better than Inko.
The boys were interested in the bathroom diagrams, and pretended to get ready in the morning with them. They brushed their teeth in the mirrors with imaginary toothbrushes, and pretended to take showers, making "shhh" noises like the water would sound like. It was fun, and neither had really expected to have fun at the hardware store.
Ace didn't notice the dirty looks Inko would give to anyone who paid negative attention to her new adopted son. Ace didn't notice because he was having fun. And instead of sandpaper, she got an electric sander that could get the job done easily and quickly, since Ace said the sanding with the paper makes him uncomfortable. Not because of how it felt, but the noise of it gave him unpleasant chills.
When they left the store, they went home and Ace put his clothes in the dresser, shoving them in unneatly. The closet was storage, but he didn't need anything to be in it. There was a vacuum cleaner in there and some boxes of things that were too important to put in the assigned storage unit below, so they took up residence in Ace's new room.
Both he and Izuku wore their pajamas all day, playing with various things, imaginary games, and playing heroes vs villains. Ace was the villain, and Izuku played All Might. Inko was the damsel in distress as Ace blocked her from Izuku. It was fun, and Ace never got to play pretend at home because all the older kids had their own friends and weren't interested in imaginary situation games.
It was awesome having someone his own age around to play. They would return to the daycare the next day, taking that day off for Ace to just happily stay there. He did miss Makino, but it wasn't overwhelming because he knew he would have lost her even if he wasn't adopted by Inko.
When they went back the next day, Tenya and Tsu were surprised by the sudden news that Ace was now officially part of Izuku's family unit. "And Inko-san is so nice to me and everything! And we went shopping and me and Izuku got new pjs," Ace gushed, Izuku building a toy city, letting Ace do all the talking.
"I'm happy for you, Ace-kun!" Tenya said strongly. "I wish you happiness in whatever you do!" Ace giggled and nodded. "I see white in your hair? Are you getting old already?" he asked in genuine concern. Ace laughed, but just quietly said they were new feathers. None of the others in the daycare knew about it. The teacher and aides knew, but the kids didn't. And Ace didn't look very dangerous, so he wasn't to worry about.
Being in a better place had stopped him from resorting to violence like he did with Bellamy, Bakugo and Dellinger. He wanted to leave that part of him behind. But he knew that he might become grumpier when he got older because of his dragon side. He just vowed to not be mean to his friends or family.
"I wish I had a tail," Tsu said suddenly, surprising the other three. "Using my tongue is fine, but I do worry about getting sick from it. Having a tail, if it could elongate, would be a lot better in my opinion," she explained, her finger to her chin.
"You're great just the way you are, Tsu-chan!" Tenya insisted. She smiled but didn't reply. Tenya was very intense and didn't like his friends being sad or upset. He was loud about it, but still nice and caring. He and Tsu were very valuable friends. Ace was surrounded by nice people wasn't he? He was very lucky.
-x-
Ace jerked upright in bed when he heard the sound of the back window opening, but could hear Inko and Izuku were both sleeping. He stood up and hurried to his door, peeking out and seeing the refrigerator was open and something or someone was raiding it! He crept out and hurried to the other side of the apartment, the left side of the living room, and woke Inko up.
"Inko, there's something in the house in the fridge!" he hissed. She thought he was dreaming until they both heard a crash. She got on her phone immediately and called 911 about a break in. Ace peeked his head out the door and then gasped at what it was. The police were coming, but it wasn't someone that broke in! It was a dragon!
He rushed to it, with his new mom trying to stop him before he got too close. "Hey, you can't eat our food, you know," Ace said. "Or you could have asked." He was unafraid of the small beast, the size of a small dog. Izuku woke up, too, and came out and screamed at the sight of the dragon.
Ace went to pet it, with the creature not showing any form of fear or aggression. But Inko stopped him, grabbing his arm. It was dangerous, they didn't know the temperament of this dragon, and she was concerned over both of them being so small and helpless. "Little dragon, you should leave! The police are coming!" Ace told it. It dragged the chicken breasts out of the fridge, and then fled the apartment back out the back window.
There was food all over the floor, a broken carton of eggs making the most mess. Inko seemed baffled about it. Well, they'd make sure to lock every window at night from now on, even though they were on the sixth floor. The police came, but Inko was able to give them the gist of what happened while Izuku and Ace were back asleep. It was an interesting night, but both were tired.
