Umeko the God (old name) - Umeko Tsumagoi (new name) A little bit about me: My name is Umeko, and I'm an elementary school English teacher in Japan. I created this FFN account when I was fourteen years old, nearly fifteen, so if you must know my age, look at my register date and do the math (yeah, I'm pretty old for my fandoms). THE REST OF MY PROFILE HASN'T BEEN UPDATED SINCE 2016 AND I'M TOO LAZY TO CHANGE IT RIGHT NOW. The information is still more or less the same, save for Danganronpa outweighing Pokemon now. Update schedule/general productivity: My most productive writing sessions are, in fact, when I'm at work and business is slow (which is most of the time at our bank honestly, haha). I'm hoping to be able to update Waiting for Rainbows once a month or so, but we'll have to see how that turns out~ Fandoms and ships: My main and everlasting fandom is Pokemon, and my eternal OTP is Steven x May/Daiharu/Hoennchampionshipping/whatever you want to call it. I tend to write for this fandom instead of read others' fics, but if you guys have any recs for good Daiharu fics, please feel free to PM me links! I'd love love LOVE to connect with other Daiharu fans by reading their interpretations of my favorite ship. :) (I also love Silver x Gold, Green x Yellow (Feelingshipping), N x Cheren, and a bit of Ingo x Emmet, so I'd be thrilled to get recs for those, too!) (also please tell me if there is any Black Adventures fanfic out there because I haven't found any and I have a great need) Other than that, I'm currently neck-deep in Danganronpa fandom, for which am both writing and reading fic heavily. I don't really go for the "canon" ships for some reason, but I friend-ship them pretty hard instead, so we cool? I think we cool. My main DR ships are Naegami and Kuzuhina, and I also like Sakuhina (Sakuraoi??), Tokomaru, and tbh I want to see some Kamukuzu set during The Tragedy but is anyone out there up for that? No? okay then... So yeah, as you might have noticed I don't have any het ships for this fandom???? Which is weird because usually my ships are split pretty evenly between het and slash, but hey, it is what it is. (UPDATE! I have a het ship now! BUT NO ONE ELSE SHIPS IT APPARENTLY??? Can we get more love for Hagakure x Kanon??) I also still love Hikaru no Go and Akihika but I don't have any plans to write more for that in the near future. Maybe someday? The varying quality of my works here: Like I mentioned above, I've had this account since I was fourteen. As such, this not only houses my more recent work, but also my embarrassing hyperactive teenaged stupidity from my high school years. I'm keeping them up for posterity, and also to document my personal growth as a writer. In terms of what I'd consider readable, though, I'm pretty proud of mostly everything I posted from 2005ish onwards. (There are a few exceptions, but they're not as bad as pre-2005 lol.) Any multi-chapter fanfiction on my profile that hasn't been updated since 2005 or earlier will likely never be updated again. Sorry to those who liked them. There is, in fact, one fic I last updated in 2006 that I want to continue someday, but I'm not sure that will ever happen. |
