Hello everyone, here is another chapter

Ann smiled as she walked off the school bus. She was glad to be at school, better than being home with Garp, who was ignoring her. He hadn't spoken to her, but he had rolled his eyes a lot and huffed and sighed around her. Even though he didn't speak, it still… hurt. She had been so happy to have Garp on her team, as she really did look up to him. But now, now it has all changed. She then went to class, which was English first and not that many were in class right now, but Thatch was, and when he saw her, he moved over. "Hey, Ann? Could we… talk?" Ann nodded. "Yes, sure. About what?" Thatch sighed a bit. "About camp…" Ann nodded. "What about it?" Thatch looked uncomfortable and Ann thought she got it. "If you want, we can pretend the… kiss… never happened." Thatch blinked. "We can..?" Ann nodded. "Yes, sure. I won't tell if you don't tell." Thatch looked glad with that. And Ann didn't care if they just pretended the kiss never happened. She liked Thatch and wanted to hang out with him.
Ann moved her hand to her arm. "Can we… hang now? I don't know that many yet." Thatch smiled. "Yeah, sure. You're cool." Ann smiled, she was glad about that. Thatch had always been a good friend, and she didn't want to mess that up. But it seemed they were still friends. "I am glad. I like you, you're a good friend." Thatch smiled. "And you're a cool gu- girl." Okay, still some work there, but it was getting better she felt. They then went to their spots as class started and she had been studying a lot at home, so she now felt she was at the same level as everyone else.
When there was a 5 minute break, Thatch left to do something and Ann looked at Haruta when the other spoke. "So, wanna hang after school? If you can, that is." Ann smiled. "I would love to. I don't really know my way around the town at all. Or anywhere around here." Haruta nodded. "You'll learn quickly, not that much here. Oh! But we have a field trip in 3 weeks! That will be awesome!" Ann frowned a bit. "A field trip? To where?" Haruta shrugged. "Some museum we go to each year. I usually go somewhere else and have fun, no one cares, just as long as you are back before the bus leaves." Ann nodded, that sounded fun. She was looking forward to that. "Cool." Haruta nodded. "If you want, after school, we can maybe hang out at my place or yours? And I can tell you about the city?" Ann nodded, before she sighed. At her home meant they would need to deal with Garp. "Maybe not my home. My… guardian isn't that… okay with me right now." Haruta gave a compassionate look. "Oh, I'm sorry." Ann shook her head. "No, it is okay. I just hope it will improve." Haruta nodded. "I hope so as well. My house then." Ann smiled, she liked Haruta.
The class then started again and she followed what was happening. Thatch did fool around a bit, and got a small reprimanding, but it didn't seem like it was the first time. The next classes went fine, then they had gym. She did change with the others, as they didn't need to take off their underwear, and she had a sports bra on, just to feel more right. The gym went fine, and she was excited to see Marco was having it. Marco also had History and a couple other classes, it was cool. The gym went by fine, she had always been fast and such. When it was over, she got a key to the teacher's shower, which was its own little shower inside the girl's locker room. She was told this worked out since the teacher was male, so it was open for use for her. It was good. The others did ask a bit, and she just said she had her own reasons and that was it. The others asked a bit more, but she didn't give away anything else. Then, the rest of the school day went by fine. When it was over, she got with Haruta and they headed to her home, which was a short distance away so they could just walk.
She did send a message to Garp, that she would be with a friend after school and if he could pick her up in a couple hours time, so she didn't need to figure out the bus things just yet, and she got a 'fine', which she could just hear the sigh in it, as she just knew he had sighed when he read it. She really did feel a bit like a burden right now. But she didn't want to deal with the bus and such just yet, maybe Haruta could help her with it a bit later, so she wouldn't be dependent on Garp.
When they got to Haurta's place, she met her parents, who seemed cool. They then headed up to her room, and when they were there, Haruta looked at her. "Also, you said… your guardian didn't like this. Isn't that your mom or dad?" Ann shook her head. "No, it is not. They're both dead. I'm adopted." Haruta blinked. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that. You never spoke about it at camp." Ann nodded. "I don't like to go around saying it." She really didn't. She always felt a bit bad about it. But Garp had been amazing, well, up until now that is. Haruta looked at her. "That's fine, I get it. How about I tell you about things here." Ann nodded and they spent the next hours talking, a bit of studying. When about two hours had passed, he got a message from Garp that he was almost here and to wait outside. She bid goodbye to Haruta, who said she would be in the window, to make sure she got in the car safely. Not that it was an unsafe neighborhood, but she just wanted to make sure. It was nice.
When she got out, it was just a minute before Garp came, and she gave a wave to Haruta in the window, before she got in the car, and when she had and Garo started driving home, he gave a huff. "Are you hanging out with girls now?" Ann nodded. "Yeah…" Garp rolled his eyes. "What will I do with you? You won't listen to reason." Ann shrugged a bit but didn't say anything. She didn't want to make this worse. When they got home, dinner was almost done as Sabo had held it warm, and she really didn't have an appetite, but ate a bit, before she went to her room. She really hoped Garp would get okay with this, because she wasn't changing.
The next 2 weeks went by fine. She spent a lot of time with Haruta, and a bit with Thatch, which was cool. She even went home with Thatch one time, to study, and it was cool. He had cool parents, or not parents she found out. He was adopted as well. That was cool, and she felt they bonded over that. Thatch was a nice guy, really cool. And, he was so much better now with her. He had called her 'he' a couple times before, but not anymore, now it was she and Ann. That was perfect. Haruta had also taught her the bus things, so she didn't need Garp to pick her up every time she went with Haruta or Thatch, or to the city with Haruta and/or Thatch. It was really awesome, and she really liked her new school. Everyone she knew was really nice to her. Not that she hangs with that many aside from Thatch and Haruta, but a few.
When 2 weeks had passed, she started to feel a bit ill, and then she got sick. Just the flu, so she stayed home for a day, and she hated that. Garp didn't want anything to do with her, and had said "You better not need a doctor. I will not be humiliated like that." And that made her feel bad and hoped she would be healthy again tomorrow.

Thatch hummed as he walked out of class. He had just had History, and was heading to the next class. But when he got into the room, a few gave a chuckle, before one of them started to sing, and the rest joined in. "Thatch and Ann sitting in a tree! k-i-s-s-i-n-g! First comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes baby in a baby carriage!" And then everyone laughed and Thatch felt humiliated so he ran and hid in the bathroom for a while, wanting this to end. How did people know? Did Ann tell? Why did she do that! He skipped the next class, not wanting to deal with everyone. This was probably why Ann wasn't at school, so she didn't need to deal with this. She was mean. When he did come out, a few did still mock him, and he decided he would get revenge. So when he went out, he found Izou, the queen of rumors, and spoke to her. "Hey, do you know? Why Ann Portgas suddenly moved and why she have her own shower?" Izou gave a gasp. "Why!" Thatch gave a small smile. "Cuz she is a he. She's trans, she's really a boy." Izou crossed her arms. "And how do I know this is legit?" Thatch hummed. "I'll send you a link and picture. And, you didn't hear this from me." Izou nodded. "Of course I didn't! If I find it to be true though." Thatch nodded. "And you will. Give me some minutes." Izou nodded. "Good good. This better be legit." Thatch nodded, it was.
They then parted and he used a bit of time to gather the dirt on Ann, or Ace. Thatch still had pictures from camp before, and he had access to her facebook, where there was one picture she had forgotten to delete, a picture she, or he, was tagged in. This would work out well. The rest of the day went… not absolutely horrible, just bad, and when the last class came, which was English, Haruta approached Thatch and gave an apologetic look. "Hey, Thatch? I'm sorry, but I told my friend, my previous best friend, that you kissed Ann. I didn't know she would squeal. I'm really sorry." Thatch blinked. "It was you?" Haruta nodded. "Yeah, I mean, I didn't mean it to happen, so don't be mad at Ann, okay?" Thatch felt he couldn't breathe. He had outed Ann to Izou, who probably had messaged everyone. She was the real Gossip Girl. He swallowed, he needed to try and stop this. He took out his phone and on his way to call Izou, when he saw he had gotten a snapchat from a friend, and it made him freeze. It was a picture of Ace and had the caption: 'This is Ann Portgas! She's a boy!' Oh boy, he had messed up, messed up so bad. How could he fix this?
