Author's Headnote: Here's a Oneshot about a what-if scenario I almost considered doing when I started writing this, but with the story altered. Let me know what you think in the reviews.

RWBY FoB: Just for Fun: Team VMPR

Beacon Academy, 1:00 AM, Monday, RWBY Dormitory

Ruby was spending time studying for her morning classes. Being that she's a vampire, she wouldn't need to sleep in the night, gives her perfect time to study during the day. Studying for grimm studies and math, of course. No matter what one is aspiring two, escaping math class is impossible.

And that's when Ruby hears opening from the door... well, it looks like the rest of her team is finally back from their night out. Too bad Ruby wasn't invited, she would have enjoyed it. She has all the time she can at the middle of night. So... Ruby stopped studying and got up to confront her team, who is at the living room of the dorm... wearing bandanas... and they seem slightly more pale... except Weiss, if she was any paler, she would be literally the color white.

"Well, you guys seem to have a fun time." Ruby retorted. "What's with the bandana? Are we doing a matchup article of clothing for the team now?" She said sarcastically.

"Well... uhh... we'd figured since you wear one... so... uhh... why not us?" Weiss said, nervously.

"Weiss, don't bother." Blake retorted.

"I don't want my sister to know our... secret." Yang countered.

"What do you think Ruby's been hiding under that bandana of hers?"

"Wait..."

And then Yang punched her sister in the gut...

"How long have you been a vampire!?" Yang asked.

Ruby was knocked sideways on the floor after that punch "Blake... you... told them!?" Ruby asked, squealing after the punch in the gut.

"You knew!?"

"To be fair... I figured it out in a similar way, when she came back from the catacombs..." Blake stated.

"Wait... you three are vampires now!?" Ruby asked.

"I am going to kill those monsters!" Yang said, angerly, her eyes turning blue.

"Yang... your eyes are blue..."

"Are they now? Are you sure you're not colorblind!?"

"Nope, they are blue." Blake stated.

"Bluer than mine." Weiss commented.

"Ya... vampirism can alter your semblance." Ruby stated. "So far, I haven't noticed anything other mine having wilted rose petals."

"Guess I'll have to find out when my emotions take over." Yang retorted.

"Wait... if you've been a vampire the whole time, where were you getting your blood?" Weiss asked.

"From me... I was feeding her, to make sure she doesn't lash out... like we did..." Blake stated.

"Well, the news is certainly going to have a field day. They're going to think your feral grimm are spawned from mine." Ruby joked.

"You're the nostferatu?" Weiss asked.

"I'm not proud of it... but I can't control what I do... when I lose control." Ruby stated.

"So... what have you been doing while we were away?" Yang asked.

"Tinkering Crescent Rose, studying, I figured I'd have the whole night to myself, so I'd make use of it."

"Why can't you do that during the day?"

"Newsflash: The big fireball of death!"

"The sun's gonna cook you like a roast chicken." Blake retorted.

"Eh, not in the mood for chicken." Yang said bluntly.

"Well, that's a first."

"Guys, let's discuss to how we're going to get enough blood to feed all four of us." Ruby interrupted.

"Oh right... blood. Well, we need to be careful about feeding, otherwise we're going to trigger a lockdown." Weiss stated.

"Well, there goes my idea of giving Sun a middle of the night hickey." Yang joked.

"Yang... this is no time for jokes."

"I'm just trying to lighten the mood."

"I much prefer if you didn't."

"It's hard enough to keep one vampire fed, trust me. But four vampires are a whole other thing." Blake stated.

"Do we have to sleep in coffins or something?" Weiss asked.

"Do you see a coffin lying around? I can sleep in my bunk just fine. Although I can only do it on non-school days because well... school." Ruby stated.

"Oh right, school. So how exactly are we going to get the school and back without the sun burning us?" Weiss asked.

"We sneak in early, and then stay in the main building until the sun goes down."

"And our faces?"

"We just wear your bandanas over it, you can borrow some of mine since yours smell of blood."

"What if someone thinks we're in some of cult?" Yang asked.

"They're going to mind their own business. If they manage to get Yang in their cult, they'll back off." Weiss retorted.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Yang asked angered, with her eyes flickering blue.

"I am still not used to your eyes changing blue."

"How about you guys just... shower and get yourself changed? We have classes in the morning." Ruby stated.

"Oh ya, knew I was forgetting something." Yang said, likely feeling dumb.

The next three hours were spent studying and just procrastinating. It was then 4:30 AM. In which Ruby then hopped in the shower, and then changed into her school uniform, and then added a bandana on top of that.

In which the rest of her team follows suit.

"So... are you guys ready for class?" Ruby asked.

"You sure we don't need to sleep?" Weiss asked.

"We can take a nap during lunch."

"Where?"

"There's a small room no one goes to. Now we need to hurry before the sun rises." Ruby said, blitzing out without activating her semblance to head to the Beacon main school building. Ruby assumes the rest of her team follows. Even without Ruby's semblance, she's a fast runner.

Beacon Academy, 1:00 PM (Daylight Warning), Monday, Interrogation Room

Ruby was in the room, alone, napping in the dark room. Well, that until someone opened the door.

"Errrh..." Ruby groaned.

"Don't worry, it's just me." Blake stated.

"Where's the rest of the team?"

"They're feeding."

"From who?"

"Jaune and Sun, respectively."

"Who did you feed from?"

"Eh, Neptune walked on me and started to hit on me, so I used that to feed on him. Did you feed on anyone?"

"Nah... you know how I am when it comes to feeding on people. I don't know how you could just lie to these people..."

"It's better than the alternative."

"Ya... but... it just feels... wrong..."

"It's okay, Ruby. I know it's tough, but I can't feed you anymore."

"I know, it's just... I can't really just lie and feed on these people like you, Weiss, and Yang. I'm more willing if it's a volunteer. Or if it's from a bad person."

"How about I knock out Cardin, and bring him here? I know you don't like him."

"Not here, specifically, otherwise I'm going to have to find somewhere else to nap."

"Oh... ya... forgot you tend to nap during lunch. Well, my next class is going to be awkward... being that it's mostly outside."

"I suggest you cover yourself head to toe, and stay in the shade."

"Well, assuming that the sun doesn't kill me."

"Can you bring me Cardin now? Never thought I'd say that sentence."

"Okay, I'll bring him outside the room."

After Ruby had engaged in a feeding session with a knocked-out Cardin, she placed him next to a classroom. Whilst Ruby went back to her napping session until next class.

Beacon Academy, 4:45 PM (Daylight Warning), Monday, Indoor combat arena

Team RWBY was watching the fights going on... the first fight was Weiss vs Jaune, it surprisingly ended with a tie. It seems vampirism has not affected her family semblance. But her strength did increase, giving her a better chance against Jaune's large aura. However, Weiss will be needing a drink of blood after that fight, low aura and all.

Next was Nora vs Russel... obvious Nora win. Russel made the mistake of electrically charging his attacks against Nora.

"Next up, Yang Xiao Long vs" Glynda announced. Ruby didn't catch the other student's name because she wasn't paying attention.

Yang is seen heading into the locker room, and proceeding to change. After she stepped out, she had bore her combat outfit, with Ember Celicia, although now she has a bandana over her face, and sunglasses... likely to conceal her semblance since it makes her eyes turn blue now.

After the fight has been announced, she let her opponent make the first hit as a gesture, in which they did hit her with their weapon, in which Yang countered with a punch in the gut, and slamming them across the other side of the arena. In which they had gotten up.

Yang then went and fired shots from ember celicia, which distorted her opponent, and then punched her out of the arena, ringing them out. Glynda then announced Yang as the winner of the fight.

With the fight ending abruptly quick, she asked for volunteers for the next fight. Blake didn't want to fight, since her class had made her nearly deplete her aura. Weiss and Yang had just went to the fight. And Ruby wasn't in the mood to fight right now. Someone needs to keep her team in check. So... they watched another fight this time around and waited for the bell to ring, so they can hang around the main building for a bit longer until nightfall, that's where the fun would truly begin.

City of Vale, 8:30 PM, Monday, Downtown

Team RWBY was strolling the downtown. Given that this is a proper night out for them, and the first of many night outs they'd have as vampires. From there, the four of them stayed silent as they went and tried to detect White Fang with their negativity. In which, it didn't take long for Ruby. The senses are new for the rest of her team, being that she saw them being incredibly stressed during class. Ruby more than understands the pain they went through. Thankfully the three of them were brave enough to try like Ruby. She wouldn't have wanted them to end up like the other vampires.

Ruby then followed the source of the negativity. Using Crescent Rose to have her jump to a high point in a building... to better pick it up, and then followed. She was like a creature of grimm, except she didn't kill anything that moved. The rest of her team then followed, although they look uncomfortable...

"How do you tolerate all that?" Yang complained.

"You're sensing negativity. You'll learn to concentrate it in time, but for now follow me." Ruby stated.

"So that's why I felt so stressed." Weiss said, dumbfounded.

"Feeling the entire negativity of a classroom would do that. Trust me, now you know why I take a nap at lunch now."

But no less, Ruby went and ran, without using her semblance so her team can catch up. The four of them eventually ran into a bunch of White Fang mooks looting a dead body. Four of them, specifically. She waited for the rest of her team, but for now... she's scouting them... lurking them... like a... wild animal hunts their prey. It is a fair comparison. although Ruby won't kill them. She only wants some of their blood, not their entire flesh.

In due time, she notices the rest of her team catching up. In which she smiled under her bandana.

"Wanna play vigilante?" Ruby asked.

"Do you regularly feed off of criminals?" Yang asked.

"Ya, they're the only kind of people I don't feel bad about feeding off of, won't kill them though."

"I get it, you don't like killing."

"They're still people, just guided off the wrong path, I figured a push in the right direction would help them."

"By drinking their blood?" Weiss asked.

"Hey, I didn't choose to be a vampire!" Ruby countered.

"Neither did us!" Yang counter-countered.

"Just shut up and get the jump on them... 3... 2..."

And just like that the four of them jumped down and proceed to knock down all four of the White Fang mooks at once. During this time, Ruby used this opportunity to feed herself. Being that she's a vampire, along with her team, it wouldn't hurt if they saw something another vampire would see...

"Make sure it's the right arm, if you do the left arm, you'd hit an artery." Ruby lectured.

"Okay... we can just feed off of the students at Beacon." Yang commented.

"And risk getting caught? When I did it with Blake, it was in a private area."

"How would you describe the feeling?"

"Well, it was woozy, and my neck was sore." Blake answered.

"So... hurry before they wake up, and make sure you cover up the bite mark." Ruby lectured.

So, Ruby sank her teeth into the unconscious mook's arm, and the rest of her team followed... She counted in her head to how long it would be before she let go, after 4 seconds, she let go. And hid the bite mark by placing the arm somewhere it wouldn't show. The rest of the team stopped at different times. Weiss after two seconds, Blake after six, Yang after eight.

And after they all finished, an ambush occurred... one hundred White Fang mooks, all lined up.

"a hundred to four?" Weiss asked.

"That's a fair fight." Yang said, being cocky.

"Still, don't let it get through your head Yang." Ruby lectured.

"Since when have you been professional?"

"Since now, apparently."

And just like that, Yang charged in first. Firing rounds from Ember Celicia to do damage to the hoard and getting their attention. Whilst Blake, using gambrol shroud to get on the high ground and swoop them down one-by one. With Weiss focussing on support.

Which leaves to just Ruby, who unfolds Crescent Rose. And fires a wind round to start fighting the white Fang mooks, here Ruby is... slicing and dicing mooks, in a non-lethal method while the rest of her team are joining her. On one hand, they can be a rag-tag team of huntresses for eternity, on the other-hand... they're vampires and can't get out in the sun. The adventures they'd have at the night, all four of them getting out and having fun at the night... albeit in the body of teenagers.

The only trade off is that Ruby no longer gets time for herself at night. Which means no more side-projects for herself. But she's team leader, she needs to look out for her team, whether they'd be alive or undead.

Author's Footnote: And that's the oneshot. I kind of had this idea about all team RWBY being vampires, but I figured I'd just focus on the little rose instead. So, I wrote this. I'll be writing the chapter for the Ruby of Cerberus next, and then RWBY: Festival of Blood's Volume 4 segment will begin. I hope you enjoy these skits, there's going to be another on this month. See ya then!
