Author's Headnote: You know it's weird that I found out there's an actress named Ruby Rose AFTER I started watching RWBY? It's quite weird.

RWBY FoB: Just for Fun: November Nonsense

Segment 11, Acorns

Well, it was a quiet night in the emerald forest. Ruby was just training here in private. She doesn't expect company since few people actually train at night, especially people like her. Although no other vampires show up today, radther, a very peculiar squirrel catches Ruby's attention. It is storing acorns in the tree.

And apon rubbing her eyes, it was not a squirrel, but Jaune, who was stealing from an already storred acorn stash.

"Jaune?" Ruby asked. "What are you... doing with the acorns?"

"I'm trying to create some decorations. And I'm looking for acorns." Jaune said, excusing himself.

"Why not search for acorns during the daytime?"

"Don't you think I tried that?"

It then cuts away to a scene where Jaune, during the day... was climbing a tree filled with squirrels, looking for acorns for said decoration. He was climbing in a very novice climbing style. He managed to get to the top, only to be ravaged and attacked by them one by one. Until he fell down and managed to attract the grimm around him, in which he had fled the scene before he gets killed by squirrels and grimm. He spent the rest of the day in the clinic where he had went through treatment for the squirrel bites. The bites themselves are fine, it's just that squirrels tend to be filled with diseases.

"It didn't end well..."

And just like that, the sound of a squirrel chirping is heard. And then they all proceeded to attack Jaune one by one, in which they'd otherwise attack Ruby for ominous reasons... Watching as Jaune gets bombarded by squirrels, and then proceeds to fall down and land on his bum, and then leading out a loud groan.

"Jaune, if you want acorns, you could just ask." Ruby said, punching the tree, in which the tree, with a punch imprint Ruby left behind has now dropped all of the acorns, all of which landed on Jaune. "You're welcome."

Jaune groaned again, hinting that he was in pain. "Well... at least I've got the acorns now."

And here comes the grimm, in which Ruby deals with swiftly and efficiently. Jaune is then relieved, well... before he passed out inside the pile of acorns.

"You can bring the acorns back, Jaune." Ruby said, cheerfully. "Jaune? Welp, time to get you and your acorns back to yer dorm now." Ruby said, picking up Jaune and stuffing acorns in his pockets as she went and brought him back to the dormitory grounds, in which he would rest safely, and not die from the cold, or the grimm.

Another night of training interrupted, guess November's going to be wacky, huh?

Segment 12, Turkey Dinner

For some reason, Weiss is cooking up a turkey dinner. Which is something far beyond her skill in cooking. But no less, the rest of her team went and humored her to see if the food is actually edible. Otherwise, Yang is going to shove it down a grimm's mouth to see whatever reaction Weiss' cooking does to the grimm. If it hospitalized CRDL, it's most likely not safe to eat.

Which is the only upside about Ruby's vampirism, she doesn't have to eat it. Although she is seen eating food, she only does it to pull up a ruse, the flavor, taste, and texture is no longer satisfying to her. It could be from her vampirism. She used to love strawberries and cookies for example. Now, she really doesn't care for them. Which, she likely blames on the vampirism.

And from the smell, she's likely done with the turkey. And for some reason, Weiss is approaching Ruby.

"Eat the Turkey." Weiss ordered.

"What? Why!?" Ruby asked.

"You're a vampire. My food can't hurt you."

"If you need me to taste your food in the first place, you know you're a bad cook." Ruby stated. "Like, I don't even care much for food anymore. It's just blood for me. Although sometimes I'd like to fancy it in a wine glass."

"Blood in a wine glass?"

"Seems fancy and proper."

"Glad to see that some part of you is embracing a finer style of life. NOW EAT THE TURKEY!"

"Why not have Zwei eat it?"

"Don't you think I've tried that. When I brought a slice of the turkey. The dog just whimpered and went away from me!"

"Gee, I wonder why... maybe it's because you're a bad cook. Sure, you've made that bloodshake I like. But you had help from the rest of the team. This, you made on your own."

Before Ruby could say anything, Weiss shoved a piece of turkey in her mouth. In which then Ruby then collapsed on the ground as a reaction to the turkey. She was wrong, the turkey does affect vampires. And it's quite negative.

"Well, damn. Guess this turkey is inedible." Weiss said, in a defeated tone.

Author's Footnote: Two this time? Sorry, I really can't come up with more crack oneshots. I want to focus on writing on the main story.
