"Come on, dude. Pick up the pace." Kiba called over his shoulder to Sasuke.
"Hn." The raven was currently being dragged down the hallway by his wrist, the brunette gripping it tightly. Sasuke boredly noticed they were making their way back to the front of the building.
"There he is." Kiba slowed his pace, letting go of Sasuke's wrist.
Sasuke looked in the direction that Kiba was casually walking in to see Neji sitting in one of the highchairs in the front of the lobby. He had a book in one hand, a cup of coffee in the other.
Kiba stopped in front of the table, Sasuke stepping up next to him.
Neji looked up from his book, giving Sasuke a nod in acknowledgment before his gaze rested on Kiba. His lavender eyes narrowed in a glare. "Uchiha. Inuzuka." Kiba's name was said as if he was spitting acid, causing Kiba to visibly flinch. "What do you want?"
"H-hey there, Neji." Kiba began, nervousness in full swing. "S-so there's this botanical garden thing opening this weekend. I was hoping I could, like, you know, ask Hinata to go with me? It's really cool with all these flowers and stuff. The openings this weekend and everything will be nice looking." He paused in his rambling as Neji's eyes seemed to narrow even further. He gulped audibly before continuing. "A-anyways, I was hoping that you would give me your blessing to ask her out?"
"No." Neji's reply was instantaneous. Kiba slumped in defeat and the three of them stood in silence.
Sasuke crossed his arms over his chest, bored. A nudge in his side caused him to grunt and he turned to look at Kiba who was gesturing his head at Neji, not too subtly either. Sasuke raised an eyebrow when Kiba coughed, and pointed at Neji.
Sasuke let out a long sigh. "I think it'd be a good idea. Kiba is a really," he paused and glanced at Kiba who was giving him a toothy grin. "Great guy." He grunted and glared at the brunette as he felt an elbow in his side.
"The fuck, Uchiha?!" Kiba harshly whispered.
Sasuke straightened up and looked Neji in the eyes. "He's a very loyal person, and protective. I can assure you, your cousin will be in safe hands." He glanced back at Kiba to see him giving him a thumbs up.
Neji stayed silent, his eyes studying the two carefully. "No."
At the answer, Sasuke turned and began to walk away, he tried, he wasn't going to force it.
"But," Neji started, and before Sasuke could take another step, Kiba had grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him back into his spot.
"I would be willing to reconsider for a different day." Neji carefully closed his book. He crossed his arms on top of it and gave them both a smirk. "Our family will be out of town this weekend until next Friday, after spring break. The four of us could get together and have breakfast before going to the mall."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes in suspicion. "The four of us?"
Neji replied with a smirk. "Yes, Uchiha, the four of us. I'm not going to be a third wheel on Kiba and Hinata's date."
Kiba loudly whooped, pumping his fist in the air with a laugh. Sasuke just groaned in response.
The bell rang and Neji quickly stood up from his seat. "See you guys next Friday." He waves them off before heading to his class.
"Man, thanks a bunch, Sasuke!" Kiba gave Sasuke a wide grin and clapped his hand on his shoulder.
Sasuke gave him a glare and pushed his hand off. "You owe me for going on this stupid thing."
Kiba just laughed. "Of course!" He waved him off before heading to his own class.
Sasuke let out an annoyed noise as the warning bell rang and he made his way to his first class.
Naruto sat back in his seat, shaking his hand as he felt his fingers cramp from taking notes. History was not an easy subject for him. He'd be lucky if he could remember dates of people's birthdays. And having it so early in the morning during the second period, made focusing even harder. He wishes he could have coffee but whatever would keep his child safe, he'd sacrifice whatever. He smiled to himself as he placed a hand on his lower stomach.
"Naruto Uzumaki, please report to the principal's office." A voice over the loudspeaker called out. "Naruto Uzumaki, please report to the principal's office."
Naruto slowly stood up and he felt the eyes of the classroom on him, making him feel nervous. As he made his way to the front, he could hear the kids whispering and some snickering as he walked past. A foot stuck out, and he nearly tripped.
HIs eyes widened and both arms reached out, one to cover his stomach, the other to catch him on the desk. He managed to not fall and with a shaky breath he stood up, glaring at Ino who was giving him a sinister smirk, Sakura giggling next to her.
"Walk much?" She commented and the two girls began cackling loudly.
Naruto didn't respond and kept walking out the room. He wished Itachi could be here to put them in their place. He smirked as he remembered Itachi stopping Sakura the other day. He then shook his head, he was supposed to be thinking of Sasuke saving him, but then again, would he. Though Sasuke did promise him that he wouldn't hang out with the two girls anymore, would that stop him from still choosing them?
Suddenly, Gaara's words from earlier popped in his head. He mentally rolled his eyes. There's no way that Itachi was also after him. It was all purely brotherly love. They've known each other forever, he would notice if Itachi had feelings for him. He chuckled to himself as he reached the principal's office and pushed Gaara's words to the back of his mind.
He walked through the door, only to stop in his tracks as he saw his grandparents there. His eyes widened before they narrowed. "What are you guys doing here?" He hissed out.
"We want to talk with you, Naruto." Jiraiya answered calmly. "We've already talked with the principal and signed you out of school."
Naruto wanted to scream at them for coming here but knew better than to cause a scene. He reluctantly nodded his head and waited for them to leave before following.
The three of them were silent as they walked to the car. Naruto slowly walked behind them, looking between the two for any indication about what was going on. Both of their faces were blank and emotionless, their movements seeming as if nothing was wrong. He felt himself relax.
They got to the car where Naruto climbed into the backseat, Jiraiya at the wheel and Tsunade in the passenger seat. It wasn't until they pulled out of the parking lot that Tsunade turned to look at him.
She narrowed her eyes in a glare. "Who do you think you are, deciding to leave in the middle of the night, huh?! You used to be such a good kid, never getting into trouble. It's that damn Uchiha brat that's been badly influencing you. Probably forcing you to move out and live with him so he can have control over you."
"It takes two to tango." Naruto quickly retorted, already feeling angry. "I make my own damn decisions, he's not forcing me to do anything. I left because I don't want to live with a goddamn psycho!"
They pull into the driveway of their house just as Naruto finishes his sentence. Jiraiya gives him a warning look. "Naruto, come on, watch it." He parks the car. "Let's go inside and talk about this."
Naruto crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back in his seat and glaring out his window. "No. I don't want to go into a house where I'm not welcome."
Tsunade growled loudly. "Get your ungrateful ass inside, Naruto. I can't believe you're acting like this! You're such a-"
"Tsunade." Jiraiya quickly stopped her, giving her a pointed look. "Why don't you go inside and give us a minute to talk."
Tsunade glared at him before sucking her teeth, and opening the car door. She turned her glare to Naruto. "Fix yourself." She hissed out before getting out and slamming the car door. The pair watch as she stomps her way into the house.
Jiraiya let out a sigh and turned around, facing the blonde. "Don't get upset with her, she's only trying to help."
Naruto's eyes widened before they quickly narrowed, his anger seeming to get worse. "Help?! You call that helping?! Someone who is "trying to help", wouldn't be this fucking angry!"
Jiraiya gave him a sad smile. "I know. She's just scared it's going to be another repeat of what happened with your mom. She doesn't want to raise another kid, we're both getting too old to do all that."
Naruto rolled his eyes. They weren't going to get any sympathy from him. He crossed his arms over his chest once again and let out a heavy sigh, casting his gaze out the window.
"Just hear her out, Naruto. You don't have to agree with what she says in the end, but just listen." Jiraiya pleaded with him.
Naruto glanced at him briefly and cerulean eyes softened. It was rare for him to show concern, and Naruto blames it on his pregnancy, but he's willing to give it a shot. "Fine."
"Thanks." Jiraiya perks up and opens his door. "Alright, let's go in."
With a defeated sigh, Naruto opens his door, and follows his grandfather inside the house.
Tsunade was sitting at the table, an empty glass in front of her. Her face seemed more peaceful.
"Now, play nice, Tsunade. We came here to have a civil discussion, not an argument." Jiraiya nodded towards a chair and Naruto slowly sat down in it, keeping his face stoic as he stared at Tsunade. Jiraiya followed suit, sitting in the chair next to Tsunade.
Tsunade clears her throat, grasping the empty glass in both hands. She sits up straight and looks Naruto in the eyes. "I'm sorry about giving you an ultimatum, that was very wrong of me and is unfair to you. So, now we can talk about you moving back in. We can go gather your stuff now while Sasuke is still at school."
Naruto's eyes widened in disbelief as Tsunade went on about a plan to get him to come back home. He quickly shakes his head, getting his bearings back together and he could already feel his blood begin to boil again. "What the hell kind of apology was that?!"
Tsunade and Jiraiya both looked at him in shock from the abrupt interruption.
"You barely even said you were sorry! There's no remorse there. And there's no way in hell that I'm moving back in!" Naruto shouted, quickly standing up from his seat.
Tsunade glared back at him, slowly standing up from her own seat as well. "What do you mean I didn't apologize? I said sorry, that's an apology!"
Naruto scoffed in response, crossing his arms over his chest. "It's not an apology, or at least not a sincere one and I refuse to accept it. And I'm not moving back in."
Tsunade sneered at him. "You know, I already scheduled an ultrasound appointment for you." Cerulean eyes widened and Tsunade smirked at the reaction. "You need me. I have all your information and paperwork that you need to make these appointments. So just move back in and make it easier on yourself."
Naruto felt frustrated and he dropped his arms to his side, balling up his fists. "And now, you're trying to make me a hostage!" He grabbed at his hair and let out a frustrated groan. "It doesn't even make any sense! You're just going to kick me out when the baby is born, anyway! Why does it matter that it's months earlier? Nothing is going to change the fact that I'm keeping this child!" He let out a sigh and mentally willed himself to calm down.
There was no reaching her, it was doing more harm than good to just argue with her. He could feel the stress from just talking with her taking a toll on him. With a determined look, he stared at her in the eye. "Thanks for the appointment, but I'm still not moving back in."
oOooOooo
Hey everyone! A lot of drama in this chapter, huh? It was actually a little hard to write, I based Tsunade and Jiraiya after my own grandparents and I've been in similar situations as Naruto, though not with the seriousness of his situation. But I've worked through most of those issues now so it's all good.
If you haven't read any of my other stories, I have finished writing the outlines for all my stories except for Dear Diary and I hope to have them finished by the end of the year, so hopefulyl I can get that accomplished and then be able to work on new stories!
As always, if you liked it, please favorite and review!

And before either of the two could stop him, he stormed out of his grandparents house, not looking back.
