The shrill sound of the alarm on his phone, caused onyx eyes to open quickly and he quickly shut it off. He let out a sigh only for his phone to ring shrilly. He grabbed it off the nightstand to see the caller ID was Kiba. "What do you want?" He answered, keeping his voice an angry whisper.

"Don't forget about today, man." Kiba said, his voice eager. "I've been waiting for this date all week."

Sasuke glared. "I know. I'm already up." He hung up the phone before Kiba could say anything else, shaking his head. He turned his head to look at Naruto, who was still asleep. He smiled and placed a kiss against his temple before getting up and getting ready.

Once finished, he made his way down the stairs where Itachi was sitting in the kitchen, a mug of coffee in his hand, his phone in his other. He looked up as he saw Sasuke enter the room.

"You remember what time Naruto's appointment was?" Itachi asked, an eyebrow raised as he took a sip of his coffee.

Sasuke groaned, running a hand through his hair. "I forgot."

Itachi shook his head with a chuckle. "This is why you should've written it down."

Sasuke rolled his eyes. "Do you remember what time it was?"

"Of course." Itachi replied with a smirk. He took a slow sip of his coffee, reveling in the annoyed look of his little brother. "It's for two."

Sasuke let out a breath of relief and he gave his brother a grateful smile. "Thanks, you really saved my ass."

Itachi lifted up his mug in response, watching as Sasuke headed to the front door.

As soon as he was outside, Kiba pulled up in what Sasuke assumed was probably his older sister's car. He parked on the side of the street, waving frantically at Sasuke to hurry up. With a roll of his eyes, Sasuke walked down the driveway and opened the passenger side door and got in, Kiba immediately driving away.

They head to a local diner where Kiba agreed with Hinata to meet up for brunch. Thye head inside the restaurant and it wasn't long before Neji and Hinata arrived and they were seated at a booth and ordered their food.

The four of them sat in silence until Kiba awkwardly coughed into his hand, giving Hinata a small smile. "S-so Hinata, I know Neji is part of your family, do you have any siblings?"

Hinata opened her mouth only for Neji to interject. "Yes. She has a younger sister."

"O-oh, cool." Kiba frowned and glanced at Sasuke who was staring at the table, bored. "So, what do you like to do in your free time?"

"She doesn't have that much free time." Neji once again interrupted. "After school, she immediately does her homework, followed by training taichi or working on her ballet. Our family is all for physical strength. The men study kung fu, the women either ballet or taichi. Hinata was talented in both so alternates her training."

"Uh, thanks Neji." Kiba sighed. He lightly nudged Sasuke in the side, getting his attention. He gave him a helpless look and gestured his head to Neji. Sasuke rolled his eyes but gave a nod of his head.

Kiba smiled in relief before turning back to Hinata. "What do you want to do when you graduate high school?"

Neji opened his mouth, once again to answer for the girl, when Sasuke sat up in his seat.

"Neji, I haven't even gotten a chance to hear Hinata's voice, let the girl speak."

Kiba looked at Sasuke, his eyes wide. "Sasuke! Be polite." He hissed out, glaring at the raven.

Neji shook his head. "No, I appreciate the honesty." He turned to Hinata and bowed his head. "Sorry, Hinata, I didn't mean to talk for you."

Kiba is shocked by the calm demeanor of Neji, and that he apologized. "I-I was the one to tell Sasuke to say something!"

Neji gave him a smirk, a playful glint in his eyes. He crossed his arms over his chest. "Sure, now you're just trying to make yourself look good in front of Hinata."

Sasuke let out a snort and soon the three of them were laughing at Kiba, his cheeks red in embarrassment as he began to sputter.

The food arrived shortly after and they enjoyed it, talking animatedly. Neji leaned back in his seat as he finished his food, the last one to finish eating. He looked around the group before his eyes stopped on Sasuke. "Are you guys ready to head to the mall?"

Sasuke quickly pulled out his phone, checking the time. He noted the time read eleven and he nodded his head. "Yeah, let's go. I have some time."

"Oh you have to be somewhere?" Hinata asked as she stood up from her chair.

"Yeah." Sasuke frowned, trying to think of an excuse on the fly. "I promised my parents I'd do some things around the house. Just need to make sure I have enough time before they get home." He mentally sighed as the three of them seemed to accept his answer and continued following them out of the parking lot.

Naruto stepped out of the shower and grabbed his phone that was sitting on the bathroom counter. He glanced at the time, noting it was eleven. He quickly dried himself off and began to get ready.

Naruto came down the stairs and walked into the living room to see Itachi sitting on a living room chair, computer on his lap. He glanced up briefly and nodded his head at Naruto in acknowledgement. "How are you this morning?"

Naruto nodded and sat on the armrest of the sofa that was slightly across from him. "I'm doing good. Have you heard from Sasuke?"

Itachi shook his head. "No, I haven't."

Naruto nervously bit his lip and looked up at the clock to see that it was almost eleven fifteen. He looked back at Itachi who was watching him. "Did Sasuke mention anything about the ultrasound appointment today?"

Itachi hummed in thought. "Yeah, I think he mentioned it for being at two?"

Naruto narrowed his eyes, sneering. "I told him twelve!" He pulled out his phone, dialing Sasuke's number and placing the phone to his ear. The phone rang a few times before it cut off, going to voicemail. He growled loudly and stood up. "I can't believe him right now! I told this asshole twelve and told him I wanted him there! But no, he has to be a complete dick and blow me off for his stupid friends!" Naruto took in a deep breath before falling to the floor, beginning to cry.

Itachi's eyes widened at the quick mood change and he carefully stood up, setting his computer on the chair and walking over to Naruto. He placed his hand on Naruto's back and leaned forward. "Don't worry, I'll bring you to your appointment."

Naruto sniffled, beginning to calm his sobbing down. He gave Itachi a grateful look before frowning. "I really appreciate that. I do. I just," he sighed, the only evidence of his earlier breakdown was the steady tears still falling. "I still wish he would just be there. I still want him there with me."

Itachi sighed, rolling his eyes. "Sasuke's an idiot."

Naruto let out a quick laugh, wiping away his tears. "Yeah, he really is." He sat fully down on the floor and stared at Itachi. "Thank you. For being here." He sighed, looking down at the floor, sadly. "Sasuke really hasn't changed, has he?"

A twinge of guilt ran through Itachi, but he hid it well as Naruto looked back up at him. The urge to tell him of the incident with Sakura the previous week came strong but left just as quickly and he kept his mouth shut. "Come on, let's get going."

Naruto nodded and grabbed the hand that was offered to him and pulled himself up. The two made their way to the garage where the Uchiha's cars were kept. Itachi drove the two of them to where Naruto's appointment was.

The two sat in the waiting room after checking in. Naruto began to nervously bounce his leg, looking towards the hallway where the doctors offices were and towards the front door.

"Hey, don't be so nervous." Itachi whispered to him, noticing the ansty blonde. "Everything's going to go great."

Naruto let out a wavering sigh. "How can you be so sure?"

Itachi gave him a playful smirk. "Because, I have a third eye that tells me the future. So I already know how this plays out."

Naruto gave him a confused look before laughing loudly, feeling his nerves melt away.

"Uzumaki?" A female doctor with blue hair came out, a clipboard in hand. She smiled as Itachi and Naruto approached her. "Follow me."

They walked down the hallway and she led them into an examination room, an ultrasound machine setup. "I'm doctor Anko." She introduced herself and then gave them a smile. "You two make such a cute couple."

Naruto blushed and opened his mouth to speak but Itachi beat him to it.

"Thank you." Itachi smiled at her politely. Naruto stared at Itachi, staying silent. The elder raven pretended he didn't notice as Anko explained the process of what was about to happen.

"Ready?" Anko smiled at the blonde who blinked at her and nodded.

Naruto got up on the table, lifting up his shirt as Anko instructed. The jelly on his stomach was cold and he shivered. Itachi placed a hand on his shoulder and Naruto frowned before Anko got his attention. He stared wide eyed at the screen. "Th-that's my baby?" He stared at the small, barely recognizable shape of a baby.

Anko nodded her head, smiling at him. "Yep, do you want to know the gender?"

Naruto's eyes seemed to sparkle and his smile grew wider. "Yes!"

Sasuke pulled out his cellphone as he got out of Kiba's car and waved him goodbye. It was two minutes to one. He smirked as he opened the front door. He got home at the perfect time to take Naruto to the doctors.

"Naruto!" The raven called out, waiting at the bottom of the stairs, a bag in hand. "I'm back!"

It wasn't long before Naruto was at the top of the stairs. His eyes narrowed in a deathly glare as he locked eyes with Sasuke. He crossed his arms over his chest and began to descend the stairs.

Oblivious to the blonde's anger, Sasuke smiled up at him. "Ready for your appointment? I even got you a little surprise." He held up the bag he was holding. He then reached inside.

"Just stop." Sasuke froze at Naruto's cold tone and he looked up at him, confused. Cerulean eyes narrowed even further as his lip curled up in an almost sneer. "Don't even bother with whatever stupid thing you're going to give me. You missed the appointment today even though you promised you wouldn't!"

Sasuke's eyes widened. "I missed it? But Itachi said-"

"Stop!" The blonde yelled. "Don't blame this on Itachi! It's your responsibility to know the time of the appointment and be there on time. I told you what time it was, not Itachi." He sucked his teeth and shook his head. "You haven't changed at all, Sasuke." He turned around taking a few steps up the stairs. He then stopped and looked over his shoulder. "By the way, you have a daughter." He stomped his way back up the stairs.

Sasuke stood in shock, and his hand let go of the bag that was holding a stuffed animal, a black fox. He slowly brought the plushie closer to his face, giving it a small smile. "A daughter."
