I got Queen Wasp on the brain. I was writing another story, but I got the idea to write this now. Basically, what if the class saw Audrey Bourgeois's behavior throughout the episode, what would change throughout the show?
Adrien is walking down the catwalk, wearing the hat Marinette designed. Alya is filming him while Livestreaming the event "Scoop! The hat Adrien Agreste is wearing was made by my BFF Marinette. Anything you'd like to say during my livestream?" Alya asks while Marinette sheepishly waves. The lights dim and music stops as everyone sees Gabriel Agreste walk on the catwalk.
Gabriel walks to Adrien, while Adrien takes off his hat and Gabriel hugs Adrien. "Scoop number two! Gabriel Agreste has just turned up, and that means we'll be seeing your hat in every single photo and news broadcast!"
After a few minutes, people started leaving and Alya put her phone in her shirt pocket, thinking she stopped the livestream. The Bourgeois family stand at the walkway in the event while the Agrestes walk up to them. "My dear Audrey, I heard about the unforgivable misfortune you had to endure." Gabriel kisses Audrey's hand
"I'm still quite overwhelmed!" Audrey exclaims "I want you to know I fired the person responsible for the misunderstanding. Only one row is befitting to Audrey Bourgeois and that's the first." Gabriel makes up for the situation.
"Let's not overdo it, huh, Gabriel?" The Dupain-Cheng's along with Alya as they are taking her home walk up to them.
"Did you enjoy the show?" Gabriel asks
"So-so. This hat is not a Gabriel Agreste. Are you responsible for that?" She asks Marinette. Mari looks to her parents, then to Adrien.
"Stand Proud." Adrien encourages her."Do it girl." Alya helps her. "I… I'm the one who created it." Marinette says a little shyly.
"Marinette won a fashion design competition." Gabriel says
"It's the most…" Audrey starts while Chloe grins evilly. "...exceptional thing I've ever seen! You're a visionary, Marinette! Glitter's had its day, feathers are the trend of tomorrow!" Marinette gasps "I haven't felt this much emotion since… you." She looks towards Gabriel.
"She does have talent." Gabriel comments
"You wanna be a fashion designer, right?" Audrey asks Mari. "Uh… yes, ma'am" Mari answers
"Then come to New York with me. I'll make you the biggest name in fashion. I'm sure, you'll even upstage Gabriel!" Audrey proposes
"I'll be able to model for you!"
"EEEE! Girl, this is your dream! It's falling into your lap!" Alya practically can't stand on the ground at this point.
"We'll be there for you honey. No matter what you decide." Sabine consoles Mari
"My helicopter will be leaving for the airport at 8pm tonight." Audrey give Mari the deets
"Isn't this awesome for Marinette Chloe?" Adrien asks
"It's… it's ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous! I've never been to New York with you and you're taking Marinette Dupain-Cheng!?"
"I'm taking her because she's exceptional, Claudette… Chloe."
Hah! Good one Audrey. Alya thinks
"I'm exceptional too!" Chloe yells
"The only exceptional thing about you, my dear, is your mother!"
Oh shit. Nevermind. What the hell? What kind of mother does Audrey think she is?
Mari, Alya and Adrien gasp and look at each other.
"Audrey dear! Chloe!" Andre tries to defuse the situation. Chloe grips out of Andre's grasp
"I'll show you how exceptional I can be!" She pulls out a box and opens it revealing the Bee Miraculous
"No!" "Chloe!" "What?" Mari, Adrien and Alya all have differing responses to the box. Gabriel and Audrey look in astonishment
"How may I please you, my queen?" The kwami asks
"What is that thing?" Audrey asks
"Chloe, what are you doing?" Adrien asks almost accusatively.
"Pollen, Buzz on!" Chloe, now Queen Bee jumps up on a higher ledge.
"I am Chloe Bourgeois and from now on, I'll be your new superhero, Queen Bee! We'll soon see if you think Dupain-Cheng is still more exceptional than moi! Spinning top!"
"What is happening to our beloved daughter?!" Andre asks in disbelief
"She always was such a show-off! See you tonight, Marinette. I'll meet you at my helicopter."
The Agrestes walk off, with Gabriel on a call. Mari's parents walk to their daughter. "It's probably not a good idea to stick around with Chloe Bourgeois thinking she's the bee's knees." Tom says accordingly
"I'm sure Ladybug and Chat Noir will fix everything." Sabine says.
"Let's go back home." Tom says.
"Uh, are we just going to ignore how Audrey was treating Chloe?" Alya asks with sass.
"I thought you two don't like Chloe." Tom says
"Oh, we don't. But that was unacceptable. Like, what parent views their child in such a negative way? I am going to post an angry tweet at her." She grabs her phone and realizes that she was live streaming their conversation. Half of the comments were "That's what you get Chloe." And the other half was "What the hell, Audrey!"
"Uh. Oh."
"Alya?" Marinette asks as they are walking to the metro station
"Apparently, I was streaming that entire conversation. Everyone that was watching on the blog, saw how bad a parent Audrey is."
"I don't know how Chloe is going to feel about this." Mari thinks about Chloe's feelings for once
"What's that supposed to mean?" Alya couldn't think why Chloe wouldn't be happy.
"Well, Audrey's her mom. She looks up to her, a bad choice of someone to look up to in my opinion, but she is likely going to stand up for her, if Audrey doesn't herself. She'll be mad at the person who painted her in a bad light." Mari explains
"Oh, that makes sense. It's not like it was on purpose, but when I get the chance, I'll apologize." Alya comes to her senses.
After some time standing in the Metro, they hear some steps on the side of it. After a few seconds, the metro accelerates. "Passengers, have no fear! Watch Queen Bee in action! You can thank me later."
The video turns off, and a few people amaze at the new superhero. After a bit, she along with Tom and Sabine try to stop the engine. After a bit, Ladybug and chat Noir showed up and stopped the train
"Thanks for your cooperation. Please keep on being pawsome and evacuate the situation calmly." Chat says
Alya gets out of the train and brings out her phone. It has been muscle memory now. Chloe and Chat were standing, giving an interview as Ladybug runs out of the front of the metro.
"Queen Bee! This was your doing!" Ladybug yells
"Oh Ladybug, you're too kind, this was teamwork. Oh, how amazing is this? We're a team now." Chloe gushes
"You're the one who paralyzed the driver, aren't you? You used your powers to create the situation just to make yourself look good!"
Woah, Ladybug. Don't you think it's a little too public for this conversation? Alya silently thinks.
"Who cares? We saved them, didn't we?" Chloe snarky comments. The sympathy that Alya had for Chloe earlier was slowly dwindling.
"Completely irresponsible!" A parisian yells
"Queen Bee, or rather Chloe Bourgeois, we're on the air with your mother, Audrey Bourgeois. Audrey, do you have anything to say here, live on tv?" Nadia explains then asks Audrey.
"What? Regarding my daughter's ineptitude? I think it speaks for itself doesn't it?" Audrey comments. Alya then feels like strangling Audrey right now. Even though one would love to embarrass Chloe on live TV, it's one thing for someone that she hates doing so, but Chloe loves her mother. She's being betrayed by her own mother.
"Chloe, give me back your miraculous." Ladybug strictly says. Again, too public, Ladybug.
"Finders keepers, losers weepers!" Chloe declares. Chat and Alya get shocked by the implications of what Chloe said.
"Did you lose a miraculous?" Chat asks Ladybug.
Ladybug and Chat start a private conversation to the side while Chloe sneaks away. Alya would've said something, but honestly she couldn't blame Chloe. If she was Chloe's shoes, she would've done the same.
"Queen Bee! Chloe! Wait!" Ladybug calls. Ladybug and Chat start to run to Chloe, but Alya steps in between them and the stairs.
"Alya Cesaire, what are you doing?"
"No, Ladybug. What are you doing? You knew that the tv station was here and yet you had a conversation that should have been kept private, in front of all of Paris."
"But she stole a miraculous!" Ladybug refutes back.
"Why don't you put yourself in Chloe's shoes? She has been insulted by her mom of all people on tv, and here you are putting salt into the wound. Yes, she was completely irresponsible. I was one of the passengers on the train, but don't you think it's best to have that conversation in private instead of in front of Paris? With that happening, it's understandable she needs some time for herself!" Alya almost yells
"And You!" She points to the tablet on a video call with Audrey "You are Chloe's mother for christ sake. In what I have learned about Chloe during my school time with her and the news broadcast Nadia was reporting before the show, what I see is a daughter wanting to spend time with her mother that she holds dearly. Chloe became like you Audrey. She picked up qualities of you, hoping to get your attention; and what do you do when you come back for the show? You cast her aside, brush off her present, get your own daughter's name wrong, and openly admit you want to spend as little time here as possible. Earlier when we were talking after the show, you thought your daughter wasn't exceptional. I was accidentally live streaming earlier and everyone who was watching saw your actions, so you can't deny it. Instead, you see someone who you just met today and offered her a trip to New York, when it's clear that Chloe wanted to go on a trip with you there as well! All she wanted was some time with you, to bond with you! It is your fault that Chloe is this way, and I won't stand for it!"
Wow, Alya brings up a lot of good points. I shouldn't have done this so publicly. I will apologize when I have the chance. Marinette thinks to herself
Meanwhile Audrey's Brain *Huff* Whatever she is still utterly ridiculous.
Meanwhile the Bourgeois Hotel
Chloe is on her balcony, transformed, sobbing a storm " *sniff* I… why? Why? Why, mommy? Why, Ladybug?"
An Akuma lands on the miraculous
"Queen Wasp, I am Hawkmoth. Ladybug and Cat Noir don't want you as their friend, so you will be their most powerful enemy. Nobody has managed it yet, but you will defeat them, because you are exceptional! In return, you must seize their Miraculous." Hawkmoth persuades Queen Bee
"You can count on me Hawkmoth, I'll teach them to respect me!"
As Ladybug starts heading out to keep her out of suspicion and Chat Noir starts heading home to give Chloe some space, they hear screams yelling through the streets.
"Oh no, Chloe." Chat openly says in despair
"This is all my fault. Alya was right, I… shouldn't have taken that conservation publicly."
"Ladybug, no. You were right to give Chloe some reprimanding, you just made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, even us. I've made my fair share of them."
Ladybug smiles softly and hugs Chat "T.. thanks kitty. I needed that. Now, we have an akuma to deal with."
"I'll always follow you blindly."
As Ladybug and Chat Noir fight Queen Wasp, Alya records some footage for the Ladyblog. Alya, on multiple points in time, thinks about what she said to Ladybug and how that may hurt her chances of being Rena Rouge again.
Ladybug and Chat Noir jump out of the Seine with Chloe and the akuma is purified
"I have to get the miraculous back Chloe." Ladybug tells her. She hopes that this conversation will be more private
"Give me a second chance, please!" Chloe begs
At this point the news has arrived. Ladybug and Chat tried to tell them to go away, but the words didn't form
"Audrey Bourgeois, tell us how you feel about what happened." Nadia says, trying to get the scoop
"According to me, Chloe just clearly demonstrated that there is nothing exceptional about her."
That sentence was broadcasted to all of Paris. At this point, most of the consensus of Paris did not like Audrey. What kind of mother does she think she is?
"Now hold on Nadia! Did you hear what Alya said earlier? This is supposed to be private. I'm making up for my mistake earlier. You should too." Ladybug berates the news
Alya had run into the scene
"Out! Did you not hear me last time?! Cut the footage!" Alya grabs the camera, turns it off and shoves them into the van and ushers them away. The driver, now fed up about this, leaves the scene. Alya then winks at Ladybug. "Good job Ladybug. I'll give you some privacy." Alya walks away.
"I know that you did the things that you did to impress your mother." Chat says, grabbing Chloe's shoulder trying to comfort her
"Anyone can make mistakes, even a superhero. I made one when I started what should have been a private conversation on TV. I'm sorry Chloe." Ladybug apologizes
"I...it's okay. But, I don't feel like I deserve an apology." Chloe admits
"Of course you do, I acted irrationally earlier, but Alya actually brought me to my senses. She even chewed out your mother for hurting you." Ladybug admits
"Ce-Cesaire thought of me?" Chloe thought she misheard what Ladybug was saying and she was about to laugh.
"Yeah, almost everyone in Paris as well too according to her. You want to be exceptional like your mother right?" Chat asks her
Chloe dumbly nods
"Well, what if we told you there are different ways to be exceptional? You don't have to be like your mom." Chat says
"But, I want attention from her. She has ignored me my whole life. I just want to be with her." Chloe admits
"Are you sure you still want to be family to her? She humiliated you in front of all of Paris." Chat says
"Chat!" Ladybug berates
"I… I don't know. I don't know anymore."
"Well... you can't be Queen Bee anymore. (Chloe sulkily nods down) But that doesn't mean you can't be one of us." Ladybug says
Chloe, now confused, looks up at her. "Huh?"
"There are other miraculous Chloe. We'll talk about it okay?" Ladybug holds up her hand to give Chloe a handshake
Chloe accepts it and gives the Bee Miraculous back
"Don't forget that you have Sabrina. Maybe talk with Alya if you want to. You don't have to though." Chloe nods as Ladybug and Chat leap away
