"How could you talk like that, Meili!?" asked Petra to her friend. "Subaru-sama could have been in danger!"
"I'm sure when onii-san wakes up he'll start saying that he loves Mama and he wants to go back."
"Betty's Subaru has already done that, I suppose." Beatrice's words made everyone in the room grimace.
"How can we help Subaru-sama?" asked Frederica, worried for his brother's friend.
"We need to make Subaru remember that she loves us, I suppose." she glared at the oni maid. "No more insulting Betty's Subaru, maid."
Ram huffed and looked away. With that the reunion ended, and everyone returned to their duties. Beatrice headed towards Subaru's room, while Garfiel and Otto went outside to train and distract themselves. Roswaal went back to his study and the maids went to the kitchen to start preparing lunch. Meili was left in the room, staring at the ceiling.
Everyone was unaware that a white dove had observed the room from a nearby tree, overhearing the conversation. Capella (metaphorically) gritted her teeth, they wanted to make her pet forget about her.
