Streets of Starling City, Night

Crouching over the body of Kelvin Nico, the prep he and Oliver took down a few nights ago, Quentin removed his hood as he was dressed almost exactly like Oliver who was right behind him in his work clothes. "Kelvin Nico. Looks like the two of you got the same taste in outfits." He remarked.

"I thought he was in custody?" Oliver remembered.

"Yeah," Quentin said and turned to face him. "Corrections was transporting him to Iron Heights when he got pin-cushioned."

"By who?"

"Your guess is as good as mine. But whoever it was went to a lot of trouble. Dressing him up and dumping him like this. I'd say our doer's definitely trying to get your attention." Quentin said trusting his instincts.

"Well, he's got it," Oliver growled angrily. "Any leads yet?"

"No. The only physical evidence other than the body is this." Quentin replied and then handed Oliver the evidence bag of the murder weapon, an arrow with a unique red arrowhead. "Shaped like a spade. What's that all about?" He asked curiously.

"I don't know. I'll look into it." Oliver said and left the crime scene.

Arrowcave, Daytime

Examing the arrowhead under a magnifying glass at his work station, Oliver saw Laurel walking to him. "Hey." He greeted him and he showed her the murder weapon.

"Last time I saw a spade that lethal, it was from a Flush in Vegas you and Tommy took me to on my 21st," Laurel remarked.

"Hand-soldered out of high-carbon steel," Oliver revealed.

"Where'd you find it?" She asked

"Kelvin Nico's chest," He answered as he put the arrow down on the forensic table.

"The nobody from Zytle's crew that put a bug on you?" Laurel asked slightly confused and surprised.

"Was murdered while being transferred by the SCPD." He finished for her.

"By an arrow. Any chance this is some kind of copycat of you like the Hoods?" She wondered.

"No. M.O. was different." Oliver clarified and walked over to show Laurel a photo of other victims who've been dress in a similar manner. "These bodies were staged, dressed up to look like -"

"The Green Arrow." She cut him off seeing the victims were all dressed like Oliver. "Guess all that positive publicity you've been getting has a downside."

"Well, whatever the reason, we need to find him," He said with some slight irritation. "I would like Felicity to do a workup of all of this ASAP."

"Yeah, that's gonna be a problem." She winced.

"Why's that?"

"Well, Felicity's at this thing called work. Roy's making his info runs in the streets. And I don't have the heart to rip Dig away from his newborn baby just yet." She listened off the reasons.

"Okay, fine." He said with a reluctant sigh. "Guess we're gonna have to get used to some new changes."

"Guess so. Let me see that." She requested the arrow and Oliver handed it to her. Moving over to the forensic table, she laid it on the table. "Have you finished running tests yet?"

"All the ones I can think of why-" Suddenly, Laurel grabbed a hammer and began smashing the arrowhead with it, surprising Oliver. "Laurel!"

Putting the hammer down, Laurel began looking through the broken pieces. "Call it a cop's daughter's intuition but someone wouldn't dress up dead bodies like you ... and not leave a note." She said and handed a slightly surprised Oliver a tiny piece of paper that was inside the arrowhead and he looked at it under the magnifying lens. "What's it say?"

"It's an address. 15 Baron Street, Apartment Seven." He read out loud from the note.

15 Baron Street, Apartment 7

Kicking the door open, Oliver and Laurel walked into the room, dress in their vigilante garbs. The apartment was lit up with candles that gave the room a red, almost romantic glow. "Nobody's home," Laurel uttered as she lowered her tranq gun. As she and Oliver followed the candles which led to the bedroom they noticed the entire wall was covered in newspaper articles and a heart-shaped photo collage of victims. "These are all articles about the Green Arrow. This isn't just a copycat, this is a fan. " She pointed out. "And from the looks of it one with a couple of screws loose."

Looking at a heart-shaped mirror, Oliver grabbed the center arrow and examined it. "And this isn't a spade. It's a heart." He said showing it to Laurel upside down and silently cursed himself for not realizing it sooner. Hearing a cell phone ring, Oliver saw it on the bed and picked it up after putting the arrow down.

"It's you." The voice said to Oliver and Laurel on speaker, it was a woman, and unknown to the two of them she was watching them from the next building over. "I can't believe it's really you. Did you like your present?" She asked.

"Do you mean Kelvin Nico, the man you killed?" Oliver growled at the woman in his voice modulator.

"I see the way you take care of your city. Makes me wonder ... who takes care of you?" Cupid told him as the Green Arrow continued to listen. "I want to help you - to fight with you, to kill for you. Mr. Nico was just the first." She revealed and then sent a photo to the Green Arrow, showing him a man tied up in an explosive vest. "He might be the second. I thought we could punish this one together." She suggested as Oliver showed the photo to Laurel.

"I'm going to find you," Oliver told her.

"Well, that's the idea. But you'd better hurry, I don't think he's got very long." Cupid told her would-be-lover as she blew him a kiss as she left.

Arrowcave

An arrow flew by into an archery dummy, the arrow fired by Roy. "Nice grouping," Oliver told as he notices the tight collection of arrows.

"Thanks," Roy said and noticed Oliver hanging up on his phone. "Someone not answering?"

"Yeah, Thea," Oliver replied and Roy tensed up a little. Fortunately, he was saved by the timely entrance of Felicity.

"What's up?" Oliver asked Felicity.

"I got an ID on your not-so-secret but very crazy admirer's hostage," Felicity said with Oliver following her.

"Who is it?" He asked.

"Joe Gravano, local mob boss, wanted for 39 counts of murder, racketeering, and drug smuggling." She revealed.

"One of the most heavily protected men in Starling City." He noted.

"Not anymore." She said bringing up his mug-shot and the photo, the stalker sent him on the screen.

"What's "N.P.P.?" Roy asked reading it on the screen.

"I don't know." She said and zoomed in on the bag behind the mobster with the initials on it. "I can definitely find out." She assured him taking a seat.

"Where are we with the cell phone from her apartment?" He followed up.

"Crazy pants encrypted the Sim Card. I can crack it, but it's going to take some time." She told him.

"Which we don't have, neither does he." He reminded her after taking a sigh. "I need 100% of your focus on finding Gravano." He said walking away.

"You got it." She told him.

Dig and Lyla's Apartment

Walking into Sara's nursery room, Lyla caught Dig just watching Sara and wondered if something was wrong? "Johnny, everything okay?" Lyla asked.

"Yeah, everything's fine. I just-I wanted to watch her sleep is all." Dig said with a loving smile.

"Well, since you finally put her to sleep why don't catch some yourself." Lyla lovingly suggested.

"You sure?"

"It's my turn to watch her. Besides one of us needs a good 4 hours." She reminded him, and kiss her cheek before heading to bed.

Arrowcave, Night

I got her." Felicity told Oliver and Laurel causing the couple to jump up out of their seats. "The user registered to the encrypted Sim Card, Carrie Cutter, she's former SCPD. She was the first woman SWAT Team member." She said mildly impressed, as they looked at her police profile.

"I've seen her before," Oliver said but he couldn't quite figure it out.

"Well, she's not unpretty for a whacko, if you're into the whole red-headed vixen-type thing." She joked.

"Back in the day he certainly would've gone for it." Laurel shaded Oliver, knowing all too well his promiscuous past. "I'm really hoping you didn't sleep with her." She added.

"Don't you think I would remember if I did?" Oliver defended himself.

"Look me in the eye and tell me you remember every woman you've had sex with," Laurel told him, and Oliver folded as he knew the answer to that question.

"She was a police officer, that might be why she looks familiar." Oliver speculated changing the subject, while Laurel smirked.

"No, she left the force one year before you got back from the island." Felicity dismissed. "But there's another very good reason she looks familiar." She said showing photos of Cutter at a crime scene Oliver immediately recalled.

"What what crime scene is this?" He asked.

"I don't know but it's not just one." She said and brought up multiple photos of Cutter at other crime scenes. "Apparently stalking isn't her only hobby, either. She's a member of a gardening group, too. Which explains the whole N.P.P. thing."

"What N.P.P. thing?" Laurel asked.

"The bag in the Gravano hostage photo. N.P.P., it's an acronym - stands for Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash. It's the chemical formula for fertilizer." Felicity clarified.

"So what if she's keeping Gravano in a Greenhouse?" Oliver speculated.

"Yeah." Felicity agreed and typed in some coordinates bringing up the address of 7884 Hauser. Sherwood Florist. "The closest one to her apartment is Sherwood Florist, 7884 Hauser."

"I used to work at Sherwood," Laurel mentioned.

"Have Roy gear up and meet us there." He ordered as he and Laurel went to go change.

"Ok," Felicity said.

Sherwood Florist, Night

Breaking open the chain lock, Oliver, Laurel, and Roy entered the premises. "Laurel, take the high ground; you're our lookout. Roy ... find Gravando. I'll take care of Cutter."

"Stay safe," Laurel said as she moved up a nearby staircase.

"Got it," Roy said looking to find the mob boss. Separated from Oliver, Roy eventually saw an arrow fly by him hitting the wall. Turning around, he saw Cutter, with a nymph-like smile and about to draw another arrow.

"I've got no sign of Cutter," Oliver said walking around on comms.

"Negative," Laurel responded.

"Speedy? Speedy!" Oliver addressed Roy got no response.

"Hello, lover," Carrie said greeting the Green Arrow on Roy's comms.

"If you hurt him-" Oliver said threateningly.

"I didn't touch him, boyfriend. I'm a one-guy woman." She proclaimed as Oliver began searching the area for her. "But I am a little disappointed you brought your wingman. Tonight's not about him. It's about us. Together against the world. Just like we're meant to be."

"There is no we!" He countered.

"We're more like one soul, you're right." She said in agreement. "You and I are more alike than you think."

"Carrie, listen to me. You're not well." He said trying to reason with her.

"If I'm out of my mind, it's because that's what love is. Our own little slice of insanity." She said gleefully.

Continuing his search, Oliver eventually found Carrie, Gravando, and Roy. Roy was unconscious and on the ground, while Carrie had Gravando hung up in the air and held a cupcake with a candle in it in her hand. "Make a wish." She seductively suggested. "Mine's already come true - for the two of us to be together forever."

"Please help me. Don't leave me with this psycho!" Gravando pleaded to the Green Arrow.

"Quiet!" Carried yelled.

"You don't want to do this," Oliver told her.

"Sure I do." She corrected him and Oliver notched his arrow. "Oh, I wouldn't do that. That rope's laced with a tripwire that's hooked up to a little thing on his chest that goes, "Boom!" She ecstatically revealed.

"So what do you want, then?" Oliver demanded to know.

"Not much. Just ... you." She said.

"Never going to happen." He said adamantly.

"Such a party popper." She said disappointingly and quickly tossed aside the cupcake and the chair holding up Gravando. As Gravando began choking, Oliver fired his arrow at the rope, severing it. Removing the vest from him, Oliver threw it in the air and fired his own explosive arrow at it: destroying the vest.

"I never thought I'd be happy to see you!" Gravando told the vigilante, but Oliver simply punched him in the face, knocking him out cold.

Arrowcave

Back in the foundry, Roy and Felicity were on separate computer stations as Laurel was filling in Oliver on how Cutter gave her the slip. "I spotted her from the rooftop but she had an alley set up with some non-explosive that caught me off guard. Sorry, I lost her." Laurel told him.

"It's fine, apparently she's smarter than we thought," Oliver commented.

"Why can't the crazy ones just be crazy," Laurel mentioned.

"You find anything useful," Oliver asked Felicity who was researching Cutter.

"Looks like you weren't the only person that Carrie stalked," Felicity revealed. "She was put on limited duty after becoming obsessed with her partner. The department sent her to St. Walker's for a psych eval. She quit the Force a little bit after."

Grabbing his bow, Oliver headed out. "Oliver, where you going?" Felicity asked.

"The psychiatrist that SCPD sent Cutter to," Oliver answered.

"You need back up?" Laurel offered.

"No, I'll just be talking to her." Oliver declined.

"I suppose this is the only way you'd go to therapy." Felicity quipped and Oliver just ignored her while Laurel left after a light chuckle. Felicity then turned her attention to Roy, noticing he was doing some pretty heavy research. "That is a Cobalt-Encrypted workstation you better not be using it to tweet." She said with a little protectiveness of her baby.

"I was-I was, um, actually just ..." Roy struggled to say unable to think of an excuse.

"Accessing an FBI Database? What ..." She said surprised but then saw Thea's picture on the screen and put two and two together. "Roy, why are you looking for Thea?"

"Because I don't think she is where she says she is." He told her.

"Why would she lie?" She asked and Roy handed her a piece of paper. Opening it up she and sped-read through Thea's goodbye note. "Roy, Oliver needs to see this." She told him.

"No. This is my fault. He's going to kill me." He argued.

"What if she's in trouble?" She pointed out.

"What if she's not? What if she just needs space?" He countered.

"She's had five months and thousands of miles of space. Oliver needs to see this." She told him, as Roy sighed. "You need to show it to him." As Roy took back the note, Felicity's phone vibrated. "You have got to be kidding me." She exclaimed knowing it was Ray.

"What-where are you going?" He asked as she was about to leave.

"There's someone I need to kill." She said frustratedly.

Queen Consolidated

Exiting the elevator of what was once Oliver's company, Felicity looked around and saw Ray. "Did you do it to make a point?" Felicity as him while he was with two other people, who chuckled as they took their leave. "Because I get it. Loud and clear. You are rich. You are impulsive. And frankly, you are the creepiest form of stalker that I have ever had to deal with, and believe me when I'm telling you that that is saying a lot, and - what are you doing to our old offices?" She asked as she noticed the remodeling going on.

"Hi." Ray greeted her. "I'll be right back." He told his employee. "You like it? Yeah, I'm just trying to liven up the place a bit." He explained as he walked around the place with Felicity following him. "I'm hosting an event tomorrow morning. A pledge drive of sorts. Got to make an impression, right? Now, what can I do for you?" He asked as they stood next to a bartender.

"You can stop. You can stop sending me flowers, and you can stop texting me and calling me and emailing me, because I spam them, anyway." She revealed agitatedly.

"Oh, is "Spam" a verb now?" He joked

"Because I am never, ever, ever going to work for you." She told them.

"Actually, you already do." He clarified.

"Only because you bought the store that I work at!" She yelled.

"No, I didn't."

"Yes, you did. My boss just called and told me that you did." She revealed.

"Well, he's wrong-kind of. I bought the holding company which owns and operates all 20,000 Tech Village stores." He clarified. "But, I guess either way, yes, I am your boss now. So you can either work for me here in a big office with a big salary, or ... you can work for me there, in that awful uniform." He said as he walked around.

"Or ... I can quit. Which is what I just did." She huff as she walked away causing Ray to smile as he turned around to follow her.

"You know, most girls would be flattered that I spent $1.2 Billion to hire them. Even if I do have a fairly genius plan for rebranding the stories." He mentioned.

"In case you haven't noticed, I am not most girls." She countered.

"Okay, Felicity. Can be straight with you?" He asked reluctantly.

"It would be your first, but yes." She said.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for hacking into QC's servers and using you to do it." He apologized. "But ... I needed to see what you were capable of. And despite all the useful stuff, you can find out about someone online these days, there are advantages to meeting them in person ... like if you can find out that there someone you can trust ... depend on even." He admitted and surprisingly, Felicity was slightly flattered. "Do you know one thing I hate more than anything, except maybe eggplants?" He pondered.

"Asparagus." She guessed.

"Seeing someone waste their potential." He revealed. "You graduated from MIT. You basically ran the IT department when you joined here. But at some point, you settled being a part-time secretary and a sales associate. Someone like you should be a Vice-President. Someone like you shouldn't settle in life." He suggested to her and she began thinking about it. "Look just - I'll promise to stop hassling you with perks to take the job if you'll at least take 24 hours to consider - really consider working here."

"I'll think about it." She mentioned as she got back into the elevator as it headed down. "

Psychiatrist Office of Dr. Pressnall

Dr. Pressnall walked into her office and flipped the switch but it wasn't working and figured the light must've burnt out, going to her desk to grab her file she was startled by the voice and appearance of a certain green-clad archer. "Dr. Pressnall-"

"Oh, my god!" Pressnall said frightenedly.

"I'm not here to hurt you," He said calmly.

"What do you want?" She asked against the wall.

"To talk about Carrie Cutter." He answered.

"I can't. Doctor-Patient Privilege. Just please, get out!" She begged.

"Your patient killed a man, kidnapped another, and I'm trying to stop her before she hurts anyone else." He revealed causing the doctor to mellow a little. "To do that, I need to understand her. Please."

"I can only diagnose her." She said moving slowly, she wouldn't bring her confidentiality but there was a loophole. "Attachment disorder, the inability to form real, lasting relationships. They push everyone away and fixate on a single person. Someone they feel mirrors their emotional state."

"How do I stop her?"

"Give her the connection that she craves- honesty, sincerity ... if you lie to her, she'll know." She advised.

"Thank you," He said about to leave her office.

"If you'll permit a professional observation ... you could use a little therapy yourself." She growly said.

"What gives that impression?" He asked slightly offended.

"You mean, apart from the mask and the Robin Hood costume?" She said sarcastically as he departed.

Elsewhere in Starling

Seeing and hearing Carrie come into his place, Kirby Bates spoke up. "Where you been?" He asked typing on his computer. "You don't call, you don't write."

"I've been busy, busy, busy," Carrie said playfully causing him to laugh.

"You look good." He said.

"Business before pleasure." She told him as he got back to his computer.

"First I located every crime scene the Green Arrow's been spotted at in the past couple of months. Now the magic part - I created an algorithm, calculated the average amount of time it takes for the Green Arrow to reach a crime scene, triangulated that by the distance to the said scene ..." He explained, and as Carrie watched the laptop she saw it pulling up an address. The old Verdant Nightclub. "Genius, right?" He asked rhetorically. "I wonder why no one thought to do it before. Now obviously, I can't pinpoint the exact block, but uh, there's no doubt your guy hangs his hat or his hoodie somewhere in this area."

"And you're sure about this?" She asked sitting next to him.

"Statistical Correlations do not lie. Now ... what was this about pleasure." He suggestively asked. Smiling, Carried sat on Bates' lap and slowly kissed him but then immediately jammed an arrow into his neck.

"Shh, shh, shh," She said as he was aching in pain. "I'm sorry. I'm spoken for." She said gleefully as she gazed at the computer screen showing her Verdant.

Arrowcave

"You've reached Thea. Leave a message." Her voicemail said as Oliver was trying to call her.

"Hey, Thea, it's me. Again. And ... I don't know if you're getting these messages, but I would really like to talk to you. So please, just ... call me back. Bye." Oliver said as he hung up with Roy in the room watching him.

"How'd it go with Cutter's shrink?" Laurel asked Oliver as she walked in on him and Roy.

"Oof. There's a reason I'm not in therapy." Oliver grimaced.

"And Thea?" She asked.

"Not answering. I'm starting to get worried." He admitted.

"Well, she'll call back eventually." She assured him.

"That's not going to happen," Roy said realizing he couldn't do put Oliver through this anymore, catching his and Laurel's attention.

"Why? What do you mean?" Oliver asked slightly angered. Walking over to him, Roy handed him the note and Oliver began reading it.

"It was during the Siege," Roy revealed. "We were going to run away together, but I couldn't leave without helping you fight. And when I came back, she was gone. I didn't say anything because this is my fault. She knew I was lying to her the entire time. I'm sorry I didn't say anything about the letter. I know that I should have." He apologized.

"Ok," Oliver said understanding surprising Roy as he walked back to the archery dummies. Noticing his other phone, the one he gave to Quentin was ringing, Oliver answered it. "Quentin."

"Your number one fan just put another heart-shaped arrow in the neck of one of her old CIs," Quentin told him looking at the body.

"Who was he?" Oliver asked.

"Kirby Bates. Some kind of computer expert holed up in a flophouse north of Amsterdam." Quentin revealed as the CSIs were doing their job. "Did a five-year bit in Iron Heights for stealing a couple of million credit card pin numbers."

"What did Bates do for her?" Oliver asked.

"I don't know. Everything here is smashed to pieces. But my smart money says whatever Carrie Cutter's planning next, you're not going to like it." Quentin told him.

"Thanks, Detective," Oliver said with a sigh as he hung up on him. Going over to his glass case, Oliver grabbed his compound bow. "Ollie, where you going?" Laurel asked.

"Amsterdam," Oliver said.

"She's probably cleared the area by now." She pointed out.

"Laurel ... I need some air." He admitted as he left.

"I knew he'd be pissed at me," Roy mentioned behind the vigilante lawyer.

"No ... he's mad at himself." She corrected him.

Later

Felicity eventually came down the steps and saw Laurel throwing some punches on the punching bag, she wasn't in her sweats though as she still had her Black Canary clothes on; minus the leather jacket. "Hey, where's Oliver?" Felicity asked looking around.

"Following up on a lead on Cutter," Laurel answered and then delivered a jab combo followed by an elbow strike.

"You know I gotta say Laurel for someone whose boyfriend is currently being target by a crazy redhead, you're handling it fairly well." Felicity complimented.

"Well, not that well," Laurel replied in between her punches. "Who do you think I'm visualizing right now."

"Our messed-up Merida." Felicity guessed.

"Yeah." Laurel finished her workout with a straight punch. Turning around she decided to chat with Felicity. "Where were you by the way. Roy said you went to kill someone."

"Figuratively. And no, I didn't "kill" Ray." Felicity clarified. "He offered me a job. VP of his company."

"Wow! Congratulations." Laurel replied but noticed Felicity didn't look too happy about it. "Or not. Are you gonna turn him down?" She asked.

"Yes. No, I don't know." Felicity admitted confusingly. "It's just ... Laurel do you think I'm wasting my potential."

"What brought that on?" Laurel inquired.

"Just answer the question, please," Felicity said.

"Okay ... yes, yes I think you are?" Laurel honestly admitted getting a reaction of surprise from Felicity. "At least, not when your down here. But up there, yeah. Felicity ... if you're worried about us down here we'll manage, just like we're managing with Dig being a dad. And also, don't be afraid to want more out of life." She added as Felicity soaked in her words for a second. "Especially if means working with a guy as hot as Ray."

"So you noticed," Felicity said with a chuckle.

"Of course, I'm not blind," Laurel replied. However, before they could continue their conversation an alarm went off in the foundry, alerting the two and caused Felicity to go to her computer. "What the hell is that?"

"Proximity alarm. After the Siege and Verdant shut down, I added some installments just in case when had any unwanted intruders." Felicity explained as she pulled up the security footage and she and Laurel saw Cutter. "Oh, Frak."

Streets of Starling City

Pulling over on his motorcycle, Oliver answered his comms. "Yeah?"

"Ollie, we got a problem. Cutter's here!" Laurel told him with his voice on the speakers.

"How the hell did that happen?" He worriedly.

"Hi, it's me. Me, being Felicity." Felicity introduced herself awkwardly. "I manage to remote access Bates' laptop and the last thing, Cutter was looking at was a map with Verdant marked on it. I was also able to retrieve Cutter's phone signal from the laptop." She revealed as they now could call Cutter, as Laurel grabbed her tonfa/staff.

"Oliver, just say the word and I'll take out this crazy bitch before she boils any rabbits," Laurel said referencing Fatal Attraction.

"No, we can't risk compromising the Foundry if we can. Patch me through to her." Oliver ordered.

Verdant

Carrie remembered coming to Verdant, once or twice, it was a pretty fun club but now it was abandoned. Walking around with her bow in hand, she stopped once her phone began to ring and vibrate. "Hello?"

"It's me," Oliver said as he was using her voice modulator.

"I have to admit. I didn't think a club would be your kind of scene." She remarked with surprise. "You're always surprising me."

"I'm not there."

"Why don't I believe you?" She said skeptically.

"You want to meet me, fine. I will meet you anywhere but that club." He told her.

"So you're asking me out?"

"Where do you want to meet, Carrie?" He pressed.

"I know a place. Our special spot." She laughed at the recollection. "But you listen to me, lover. I've been burned before. And if you're playing me, I promise you, I'll come back here and set this place on fire." She threatened and Oliver quickly drove back on the road.

Downtown

Hearing thunder, Oliver realized it was going to storm tonight as he walked around the address Carrie sent him to. "Laurel, are you in position," Oliver asked on comms.

"In position, a block away from you which I do not like," Laurel commented.

"Oliver where are you right now, you're tracker's a little faulty," Felicity asked on her computer station with Roy next to her.

"Subway stop Downtown," Oliver answered.

"Why did Cutter have you meet her there?" Roy inquired.

Looking around, Oliver knew this place seemed familiar and he finally knew why. Flashing back to the night of the Siege, he remembered saving Carrie from a Mirakuru soldier on route to get the Mirakuru cure. "Because this is where I saved her," Oliver recalled.

Noticing Carrie walking out behind the alley, Oliver spun his bow around not wanting to fight. "Hello, lover." Carrie greeted her savior.

"I'm not your lover," Oliver said flatly.

"Well, maybe not yet, but after one night with me, that'll all change. I promised." She playfully suggested.

"Carrie, I'm here to help you. Because you're not well." He told her as Felicity, Roy, and Laurel listened to them.

"Don't ever say that again." She shrugged. "You sound like that shrink that they sent me to."

"I spoke to her."

"You talked to that psycho?" She said a little surprised. "She just wanted me to take pills, pills, pills." She recalled as she moved closer to the Green Arrow. "She thinks that love is a disease. But it's not. Love is the cure." Laurel felt equally pissed off and disgusted by Cutter's talk, even if she did need a therapist.

"Well, I'm not the man you think I am." He told her.

"You're a hero … you saved me." She said trying to touch him, only for Oliver to grab her wrist and push her away.

"I understand that you're hurting. And I know what it's like to feel alone ... for a long, long time. And maybe one day, you'll find someone but it won't be me. I can't be with you because I already have someone that I love." He told her.

"No, you don't. You can't!" She angrily proclaimed and pulled out an arrow and fired it the Green Arrow which he easily dodged by moving to his side. Oliver realized he must've shaken her up a bit for that to happen. Immediately, Oliver drew and fired an arrow of his own which disarmed Carrie of her bow.

"I don't want to hurt you!" He yelled.

"You already have." She said hurtfully.

Taking a stab at him with her arrow, Oliver blocked and easily disarmed her. However, Carrie spun around and continued fighting him. Delivering a kick to his rib cage and his face that sent him to the ground, Oliver remembered her SWAT training and realized he needed to start taking her more seriously. Laurel realizing their conversation took a predictably ugly turn, sprinted to their location. Swinging his bow Carrie dodged it and went up some nearby steps with Oliver following her. As he swung his bow and she swung her fists, Oliver managed to get behind her and kicked her to the ground.

"It's over, Carrie." He told her.

"I guess it's true what they say –"She said realized where they were standing. "You only hurt the ones you love." Kicking the metal flooring below them, the two fell down into the subway tracks.

Back in the Arrowcave, Felicity and Roy lost Oliver's location. "Get him back," Roy said to Felicity who immediately began working on it. "Oliver! Oliver!" He said trying to reach him.

"He must've gotten underground somehow," Laurel said after landing and rolling on the ground from higher ground. "Heading there now." She told them heading to a subway entrance.

As Oliver crouched up, Carrie took a swing at him and he deflected her punches as they got to their feet and began fighting on the train tracks. Punching Carrie back in the face, Oliver then felt her roundhouse kick to his knee but he managed to throw her back down on the ground. But as she rolled with the throw, Oliver noticed that she handcuffed him to the tracks during his throw.

"Sorry. But if I can't have you –" Carrie said back on her feet.

"Carrie, think about this!" Oliver told her.

"I didn't want it to end this way. I guess I don't handle rejection very well." She mentioned.

"You don't have to do this." He told her and suddenly the two her train horn, with the Subway soon approaching.

"I do." She countered as Oliver looked at his cuffed hand. "But at least this way. We can be together. For Eternity." She said wanting to join him in death.

Entering the subway, Laurel saw Oliver, Cutter, and the train that was about to hit them and began running to them but knew she wouldn't make it. As Carrie braced for the end, Oliver quickly dislocated his thumb, and growled in pain as he escaped from his handcuffs but just as he was about to tackle Carrie off the tracks; he overheard Laurel's scream because it was louder than the train. "Noooooo!" Laurel cried and as she did, a wave or rather a force of invisible energy came from her mouth and pushed both Oliver and Cutter off the train tracks; the force slammed the two archers against the tunnel wall but allowed them to narrowly miss the train that would've run them over.

Seeing what she did, Laurel fell to her knees in shock and relief at what had just happened. Getting to his knees, Oliver looked at Laurel in utter surprise but then looked over to check Carrie's condition. "Carrie? Carrie!" He said shaking her awake.

As Carrie came too, she mustered a smile in delusion. "I knew you loved me." She proclaimed as Oliver couldn't even bother to answer that as he held his head back in annoyance.

Arrowcave

As Oliver was icing his dislocated thumb, Dig walked on him. "Well, it's done. Lyla said Cutter's even nuttier than the last woman they had in the Suicide Squad. You sure this was a good idea handing her over to Waller?" Dig asked him.

"Iron Heights isn't right for her. At least, on the squad, she can make a difference." Oliver told him as he didn't really know what to do about Carrie.

"Man, I'm gone for only a week and this place falls apart without me." Dig joked which brought a smile to his friend's face. "Roy filled me in about Thea. What are you going to about that?"

"Find her, bring her home if I can," Oliver answered.

"And Laurel. Oliver ... what you told me she did, what she can do now?" Dig said confused and maybe a little frightened.

"I know," Oliver replied getting out of his chair and went to see Laurel who was elsewhere in the Foundry. "Hey." He greeted her seeing being the brooding one for a change.

"I'm sorry about your thumb." Laurel apologized not even looking at him.

"It's not the first time I've dislocated it, doubt it'll be the last." He commented.

"I'm also sorry for slamming you against the wall." She added.

"And not in a fun way." He cracked a joke, giving a brief smile as he sat down in a chair in front of her. "Laurel, what was that?"

"I don't know. I thought I couldn't get to you in time ... and I felt like for a brief second that all I could do is watch you die. And when I screamed, it was like this-this force just emerged from me." She confusingly explained as Oliver listened. "I have no idea how I did that Ollie. How did I do that?" She asked finally looking at him.

"I think I have some idea." He said taking her back a bit. "I think I should fill you in on some things that Barry told me."

Queen Consolidated, Morning

Reaching the top floor, Felicity left the elevator and saw a group of rich people mingling and eating. Ray catching Felicity, left to greet her. "Hey."

"Hi," She replied.

"You changed your mind?" He guessed.

"I just decided I want more out of life." She revealed to him as joined in talking up the guest.

Corto Maltese, Merlyn Estate, Day

Hearing the sounds of Shinai's clashing, Malcolm Merlyn walked in watching his student training against two others. Using a series of kicks and swords swings, his student eventually got the upper hand and sent them to the ground. Malcolm then began clapping, impressed by how far she came in the last five months. "Well done." He said.

Removing her helmet, Thea, sporting a bob-haircut smiled at his compliment. "Thanks, Dad."

Author's Notes: I honestly forgot how creepy some of the things Cupid said until I rewatched this episode.

I promised that in my rewrite of Arrow Season 2, that Laurel would have powers due to being in Central City the night the Particle Accelerator exploded; which she should've had in the show. Everyone has different reactions to gaining superpowers, and in Laurel's case, in this story, she's gonna struggle to accept them and train them before using them.
