Arrowcave Bunker, Morning
"Alright, that should be it," Oliver said putting the finishing touches on the sound panels, after a series of adjustments.
"You're sure?" Laurel asked having watched Oliver all whole time.
"According to Felicity, yes. The designs she got from S.T.A.R. Labs should be able to withstand your metahuman powers; provided you don't go full force." He explained joining her side.
"Should?" She asked with a skeptical look.
"Well, only one way to find out." He said putting his earplugs in and then got behind Felicity's workstation. "Go for it." He told her.
Planting her feet, Laurel took a deep breath and screamed unleashing her sonic scream. As the waves collided with the panels, Laurel then immediately cut her scream off and then looked at Ollie. "You good?" She asked.
"What?" He asked worrying her if she caused him to go deaf. "Kidding," He added jokingly as she then shot him an annoyed look as she walked over to him and saw the sound readings on the screen - registering 211 decibels. "10 points lower than the last time." Oliver pointed out.
"It's still high enough to kill someone." She noted sadly and took a deep sigh. "Okay, maybe we need to try something else."
"No, you need to stay the course." He told her. "Look, in my experience. Learning by doing, by feeling, is the best way for you to learn. Especially, with something we've never dealt with before. Your Cry, if you can remember the feeling of how much effort you're putting into it you'll have better control over it. When you do you'll be able to decide whether or not -"
"I wanna stun entire crowds, shatter objects, or send people flying." She finished for him about all that she could theoretically do with her sonic cry. "I read Felicity's cliff notes too."
Immediately, the lovers overheard footsteps of someone coming down the steps: it was Quentin. "You know, I wonder if I'll ever get used to coming down here?" He greeted them both as he looked at the Arrowcave in wonder.
"I wonder that myself," Oliver acknowledged as Quentin threw a surprised look. "Kidding."
"Something that we can help you with Dad?" Laurel asked.
"Gotta case you're going need to look into," Quentin answered and gave Oliver a police file. Looking at the photos, despite his incredibly bruised-up face; Oliver could still identify the victim.
"Is this?"
"Issac Stanzler, yeah it is." Quentin said confirming Oliver's suspicions. "He was killed two nights ago. M.E. couldn't give a definitive answer on the cause of death."
"What do you mean?" Oliver asked.
"Here," Quentin said taking the police file from Oliver and then laid out the autopsy photos on the nearby table for him and Laurel to see. "Stanzler was definitely beaten to death, but the M.E. couldn't identify the exact method of how. According to him, the bruising pattern was consistent with someone using their bare fists but the amount of force behind the impact was like he got hit with a sledgehammer or something."
"Could be brass knuckles or lead-lined gloves?" Laurel suggested.
"No that was ruled out due to the number of skin cells that we're found on the victim's wounds." Quentin dismissed.
"Any hits off the DNA?" Oliver inquired.
"Not yet, labs have been swamped lately," Quentin told him.
"So aside from a slightly strange cause of death, why did you think this case needed my attention?" Oliver wondered.
"Because of this," Quentin replied and pulled out the last photo in the back of the folder. It was a crime scene photo of where Stanzler was murdered and on his body a sign with the words "Just a little preview of what I'm going to do to you, Arrow." written on it. Both Laurel and Oliver grew apprehensive seeing this photo. "Stanzler's killer, he's coming after you, Oliver." He told him as Oliver remained quiet sporting a steely-eyed look.
Queen Consolidated, Morning
Hearing the sound of metal clanking metal, Felicity walked into her boss, Ray Palmer's office. "What are you doing? We were supposed to be at the press conference 20 ... minutes ... ago." Felicity started to say until her jaw dropped as she saw a shirtless Ray working up a sweat on a Salmon Ladder. "Oh, God. I have a type." She muttered to herself realizing that she was turned on by anyone who could do this, especially if they had an impressive physique like Ray apparently did.
"You know Richard Branson works out twice a day?" Ray told her as he held himself up on the bars. "He told me it gives him 20 additional hours of productivity a week."
"I'm sorry, I can't hear a word you're saying when you're doing ... that." She said with an embarrassing smile.
Dropping down, Ray walked over to her. "Sorry. What's up?" He asked.
"The announcement? There're a gajillion reporters and city notables waiting for you." She answered trying very hard to stare at him right now.
"Oh, ha. Well, this will be interesting. Ha!" He said excitedly as Felicity turned around. "BTW, are you free for dinner tomorrow night?" He asked.
"What?" She said turning around.
"I have a dinner with the CEO of a Nevada mining concern. They own mineral rights, which are imperative to the Cogeneration project." He explained.
"Oh, and I fit into this how?" She asked.
"Ahh, the CEO is boring. His wife, even more boring. If I'm forced to go solo on this, I'll end up slicing my wrists open with a butter knife." He said honestly.
"Well, I think a butter knife isn't going to ... do the job." She witted.
"Oh, there will be steak knives there too. Dangerous." He counter-witted.
Well, I'm sure you have a dozen other employees that would be better suited as your anti-boring wing woman." She said walking over to him.
"Hundreds, actually." He revealed.
"Oh."
But you are the one I bought this dress for." He showed her the blue number he bought her causing her to put down her computer tablet.
"This dress ... costs more than my apartment." She said as the dress was stunning.
"Yeah, it's Couture." He told her. "Which I'm pretty sure is French for expensive."
"Ohh." She muttered as she held and sniff the dress.
"So, dinner? Purely Platonic." He assured her.
"There is nothing platonic about Couture." She countered.
"Ah, fine. I'll have my assistant return it." He said pulling the dress away from her.
"No, all right, I'll go! I'll go." She said taking the dress back. "But only so I can wear this dress."
"Of course."
Walking away from her boss, Felicity marveled at the dress and started speaking to it. "You and I are going to be best friends."

Although Oliver had him working on finding whoever was apparently trying to kill him, Roy found himself drifting inside to Officer Gabe Vincent as he was researching him at on the computer; the officer he killed. "Roy," Oliver said popping behind him as Roy immediately closed the article.
"Uh, no hits yet," Roy said nervously.
"You know, it wasn't you who killed that officer." Oliver reminded him.
"I keep telling myself that, but it's not working," Roy said to him. "Every single time I put on that mask, I feel like a fraud."
"You-" Oliver tried to say but sighed instead. "You have to give this time." He said and Roy sighed wearily. "If you want to talk about it-"
"I don't." Roy shut down the suggestion immediately. "I appreciate the offer, though. But I'm fine, really." He said lying about the last part.
"Where's Felicity? I asked her to come in this morning" Oliver asked looking around.
"I think Felicity's a little busy at the moment," Roy said looking at the other computer monitor at Felicity's workstation, which was set up to show any major news in Starling.
"Doing what?" Oliver asked and saw her at Queen Consolidated with Ray Palmer at a press conference.
"A few months ago I made a promise to help revitalize Starling City. But I knew I couldn't do it alone. I needed help. A lot of help. From people who are even more intelligent and dedicated than I am." Ray said looking at Felicity, who smiled. "All of us are working very hard with one goal in mind - to save our city. But to do so, Queen Consolidated needs to be something else." Turning around the curtain opened revealed the official new name for the company: Palmer Technologies. Causing the attending audience to clap with applause.
Turning off the TV, Roy looked at Oliver. "You ok?" Roy asked him.
"I'm-I'm fine," Oliver said reluctantly.
"You don't seem fine." Roy noticed.
"Roy, I don't want to talk about how I lost my family's company any more than you wanna talk about Officer Vincent." He mentioned and immediately Roy shut his mouth, fortunately, they just received something that would help them change the subject.
"SCPD Labs just got a hit back on the DNA on Stanzler's body," Roy said and brought up the file of a bald caucasian man in his early 50s, a man that Roy immediately recognized. "I know that guy. That's Danny Brickwell. His street name's Brick." Roy informed Oliver. "But I thought he was in Iron Heights?"
"Well, obviously he got out," Oliver stated and took Roy's seat on the computer. "I'll take over, find out how. Hit the streets, see if you can't find out where he's hiding. At the very least it'll keep us distracted for a bit." He suggest and Roy grabbed his jacket and left.

Listening to another bad DJ, Thea reluctantly decided to push him away. "Great, uh, thank you. You were terrific." She lied.
"Auditions are over. Thanks for coming, guys." A loudmouth blonde pretty boy said to the rest of the auditioners catching Thea's attention and annoyance. "And peace out."
"Wait, what are you doing? Auditions are not over." Thea told him and the rest of the applicants.
"Trust me, I'm saving you from wasting your day here," Chase said.
"I don't need saving from anyone, and if you're really as good as you say you are, then you can just wait in line and prove it like everyone else." She reminded him.
"I don't audition." He said in a cocky tone.
"Then you don't work. For me or for my club. So ... the exit's there." She pointed to him.
"Later, princess." He said leaving, with Thea slightly flabbergasted by his demeanor.

"Thank you," Felicity said as their server gave her and Laurel their drinks for their lunch date. "So, why do you think Ted Grant's psycho ex-sidekick was killed to send Oliver a message." She asked Laurel after sipping her soda.
"Well, Stanzler was a vigilante. And he wrapped up quite the body count last week. My dad thinks that someone's trying to show Oliver that he's not scared of him; trying to call him out." Laurel said taking a bite of her salad.
"Biggest mistake ever," Felicity noted.
"Obviously," Laurel replied chewing then swallowing. "Anyway, Ollie told me to tell you that he needs 100% of all your focus on finding Stanzler's killer."
"And I will work round the clock on it, except for tomorrow tonight," Felicity told her friend.
"Why?" Laurel asked.
"Ray Palmer invited me to dinner." She said cheerfully.
"Really?" Laurel said with amusement.
"Not dinner-dinner, like a date. It's a work dinner, but since dinner is a meal you can technically only eat at night, I need the night off. That ok?" She asked reluctantly.
"I'll make sure Oliver knows. Enjoy your dinner date." Laurel teased.
"It's not a date." Felicity denied.
"Sure it isn't," Laurel said in disbelief.
Streets of Glades, Night
Dressed in their vigilante suits, Oliver approached Roy from behind on the rooftop. "You sure he's here?" Oliver asked him.
"No. But according to my sources, Brick always stays at Winick and Hester building when he's laying low from the cops." Roy told him.
"Well let's find out," Oliver said as he and Roy fired grappling arrows to get to the next roof.
Entering the building, Oliver and Roy scanned their surroundings but saw nothing. "Check the bottom floor," Oliver told Roy who nodded as he went downstairs and Oliver checked the rest of the current floor. Going down the steps, Roy looked around but eventually saw a shadowy figure in the next room and immediately draw and notched an arrow at him.
"Uh, I was expecting the green one. But if you're here, he mustn't be far behind." Brick realized and then speed-walked to Roy who then fired his arrow at Brick but something was wrong. The arrow bounced off Brick's body. Not surprised, Brick then took a swing at Roy but the young man ducked and then struck him in the face with his recurve bow and threw a kidney punch to the same area. After he did, however, Roy felt like his hand hit a concrete wall causing him to grunt in pain. Grabbing Roy, Brick punched the red hooded archer in the face; repeatedly.
"Arsenal, there's no sign of Brickwell," Oliver said on comms after checking the bathroom. "Arsenal. Arsenal!" He said getting worried and rushed downstairs to check on his protege.
Roy eventually managed to get out of Brick's hold, but Brick was actually a pretty decent street fighter. However, that didn't matter because every solid kick or punch, Roy used felt like he was hitting a steel wall and eventually stumbled back due to the pain of his injuries. Grabbing Roy, Brick lifted him up and threw him on the ground, hard, and then picked him up to through him across the room. Moving towards him, Brick then felt something strike his back and turned around to see the Green Arrow, who was surprised his weapon didn't. "I see you got my message." Brick said with an arrogant smile and charged at him.
Oliver fired another arrow at Brick's knee cap but once again the weapon did nothing; this wasn't some kind of body armor, Oliver thought to himself. Seeing Roy hurt and on the floor, Oliver maneuvered past Brick and grabbed Roy before jumping out of the window, breaking the glass as he made their escape. Leaving Brick scowling with anger.

"Alright, give me your hand," Dig told a shirtless and bruised-up Roy as he slowly and painfully held his right arm; as Brick had dislocated it during the fight. "On Three, One"
"Argh!" Roy grunted as Dig painfully put the forearm back in place by straightening it. "You said on Three." He reminded him.
"It's better if you don't see it coming," Dig told him as Roy held his forearm.
"What the hell exactly happen to you?" Laurel asked the kid having watched him get patched up this whole time.
"I don't know. The arrows me and Oliver fired didn't work, maybe he has Mirakuru in him." Roy explained and guess.
"Can't be we cured everyone with it." Dig pointed out.
"He doesn't," Oliver said out loud as his team looked at him. "Brickwell escaped Iron Heights last year, but I just checked the date again, and turns out he escaped December 11th." He said getting off his computer station.
"The day Central City's Particle Accelerator blew up," Laurel remembered because she was affected by it too. "So he's a metahuman - just like me."
"Yeah, and apparently one whose's skin is extremely dense if our arrows can't penetrate it. It also explains Stanzler's injuries and yours." Oliver said looking at Roy.
"Yeah, if his whole body's incredibly hard it would reinforce his blows considerably. It be like hitting or getting hit by a brick wall." Dig reasoned.
"That pun better have been unintentional." Roy grouched in anger.
"Well, there's gotta be something that can pierce his skin, any suggestions." Laurel brought up.
"Yeah, you," Oliver said to her, and immediately Laurel looked discouraged.
"Ollie."
"Laurel we're up against a metahuman. So, why not fight with the one we've got." Oliver brought it up.
"Because the one you've got is scared to death she might kill someone if she so much as raises her voice!" Laurel shot back at her boyfriend. "Look, just ... we'll find another solution. But I am not it." She said walking away from this conversation as the three men sighed.
"Roy, go home; rest up," Oliver ordered.
"Argh. You're not going get any arguments from me." He told him as got off the med table and left the Arrowcave.
Going over to his glass casing, Oliver grabbed his compound bow and decided to head out too. "We're you going?" Dig asked him.
"Out searching for Brickwell," Oliver told him.
"Oliver he could be anywhere tonight." Dig pointed.
"Then I better get an early start," Oliver told him stubbornly.
Unknown Location in the Glades
Jermaine Fisher and Jose Anton waited around for Brickwell, Anton was particularly anxious; pacing around the room. "Dude, sit down you're making me nervous," Fisher told him.
"He should be back now," Anton told him and stopped in his tracks. "Is he nuts? Are we nuts? I mean is this even possible?
"Well, you've seen what he can do now. Man's bulletproof. Probably arrow-proof too. And even before all that, he was still the scariest son-of-a-bitch I've met." Fisher recounted.
"Aww. Fisher, you say the sweetest things." Brick cracked as he came down the steps. "Hello, lads, did you miss me?" He asked them.
"Where you been, Danny?" Anton asked.
"Oh, just had a bit of tussle with the Green Arrow and his partner." Brick informed them.
"And?" Fisher asked.
"Still breathing, unfortunately. Next time they find me, they might have something up their sleeve." Brick told and then faced them with a big grin on his face. "But I'm gonna need some help from you two."

Adjusting his tie in the mirror, Ray heard Felicity's footsteps. Seeing the dress he bought for her, her hair tied back, and ditched her glasses; she looked very lovely. "What happened to the thing?" Felicity asked referring to the salmon ladder
"Wow. You look ridiculous."
"Um..." Felicity uttered looking at herself.
"Which I mean in a ... good way. That's ... not creepy." He explained awkwardly and cleared his throat to start again. "You look beautiful."
"Oh, I think it's the dress." She suggested.
"The dress is actually missing something." He revealed.
"Oh, no, I forgot to do up the zipper again?" She wondered. "I always do that." And then saw Ray opened up a box, revealing the most expensive-looking diamond necklace she had ever seen. "Oh, no, I can't wear that." She said immediately. "I'm not even sure I'm supposed to be looking at it."
"Well, I had to put down a $10,000 security deposit just to borrow it for the evening, so one of us should wear it. And diamonds aren't really my thing, so." He explained.
"I appreciate it, but I think I would feel strange wearing a million-dollar necklace." She said shyly.
"Oh, don't worry. It's not worth a million dollars." He said relieved her as she spun around and let him put the necklace around her rather lovely neck. "I think it was actually appraised for $10 million." He revealed causing her face to contort. "So... There you go. That's better." Leaving Felicity stunned by how amazing she looked and that Ray was definitely into her.

Sharpening his arrows at his grinder, Oliver didn't hear Laurel coming down the steps having just gotten off work. "Those look different than you're usual." Laurel noticed.
Turning off the grinder, Oliver briefly held the arrow in front of her. "Aluminum carbon compensate, Felicity once heard from Barry they're better for penetration," Oliver explained added another carbon arrow to his collection.
"I guess we'll see." She replied.
"Well just in case - explosives arrows and cable ensnarements. If we can't hurt him, then immobilizing him is our best option." He said then glanced at the bag Laurel placed on the table next to him. "What's in the bag."
"Brass knuckles for you - lead-lined gloves for me. I think like you're toys better." She admitted as she laid them out for him to see.
"Well, it's something. Of course, you already have something that hurt Brickwell."
"Ollie, we've already talked about this." She said already not looking forward to this conversation.
"No, we haven't. Look ... maybe you're right. Maybe we don't need your Cry to handle Brick." He admitted.
"Thank you."
"But what about the next time, or the time after that. There isn't the first enemy we've faced with "abilities" and we both know it won't be the last." She told her in a commanding tone that occasionally irritated her, even when he had a point; like right now. "Look, Laurel, all I want to know is why you're being so stubborn about this?"
"Have you met me?" She asked sarcastically.
"Laurel,"
Grabbing a chair, Laurel took a seat. "I'm worried I can't control it."
"You can, you are. This isn't about control -"
"It has everything to do with control, Oliver." She snapped before gathering herself. "I know I've never talked about it but ... ever since I was dosed by Lomax in the past - I have had this fear of losing control myself because I have seen what can happen when I do. And that was without powers. But now - now all it will take is just one note too high ... and someone's deaf or dead because of me. I don't expect you to understand."
"Actually, Laurel I do." He revealed getting her attention as he stood against the table in front of her.
"Do you have some secret superpowers you've been neglecting to share?" She jokingly asked.
"No. But ... I know what it's like to have ... a part of yourself that you're afraid of. That scares you, because of what you can do with it." He recounted thinking of all the horrible things he did during his five years in hell. "It took me a long time to figure how to control it."
"And you think eventually I will too?" She asked figuring where he was going with this.
"Actually, Laurel, I don't control is your problem." He revealed surprising her slightly. "I think you're problem is that you're focusing on all the bad that could come from your Cry, instead of thinking about all the good you can do with it. And you can Laurel because everything that you do as a lawyer, as a hero, has been about using everything that you have to help people. Now, now you just have a new way to do it." He expressed.
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because the first time you ever used your Cry, was save my life; remember?" He recounted, referring to the train incident with Cupid and Laurel contemplated everything that he said.

Arriving at their table with the Gardners, Ray greeted them. "Ah, Mr. Gardner. Ray Palmer." He said shaking his hand. "Good. Mrs. Garnder. This is Felicity Smoak." He introduced her after shaking the wife's hand. "Vice-President of Palmer Technologies."
"Hello." Felicity greeted the couple.
"Pleasure," Mr. Gardner said.
"Thank you for sitting down with us tonight," Ray said.
"Well, I'm always happy to enjoy a good meal. And I'm very impressed with your background. But I have no plans of selling my Nevada holding." Gardner told him flat out.
"The night is still young." Ray said confidently. "Shall we sit down? We have a lot to discuss." He said as he, Gardner, and Felicity took their seats.
"Thank you," Felicity said as Ray pulled her chair for her to set.
"As you said, the night is young. But I don't like to talk business until at least the entree." Gardner said, as Felicity's phone ringed. It was Diggle telling her she was needed.
Verdant
Although it was the reopening night for Verdant, it was not all that eventful mostly due to the crowd being disinterested in the music played by the DJ. Roy Harper and Thea Queen were concerned by the lackluster event of the club this evening. "Maybe the DJ got confused and he thinks he's at a rave," Roy commented.
"I think my ears are bleeding," Thea said discouraged, and went to the DJ, who was a little too focused on the music in his headphones at the moment. "Excuse me, I'm sorry, I- you're fired." She told him.
"What about the rest of the night?" He asked.
"I think my Spotify Playlist is a better option than you right now." She sassed.
"Whatever." He said as he bailed.
As Thea was sitting things up, Chase, the DJ from earlier came up beside her. "Need some help?" Chase asked.
"Just when I thought the night couldn't get any worse," Thea remarked.
"I thought I'd swing by, see what kind of trainwreck this would be." He said snidely. "Oh, did I say trainwreck? Because this is ... Pow!" He exclaimed.
"You know, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." She said annoyed.
"Yeah. I think I'm the only one." He agreed.
"Oh, I just remembered- I own a bar." She said leaving but he stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"Half the gate and guaranteed gigs four times a week." He negotiated.
"Two times a week." She counter-offered.
"Three."
"Fine. Just get these people dancing." She folded in desperation.
Taking over the station and removing her IPOD and began his work, with his song selection and the light show quickly turning the crowd around; causing the hit the floor dancing.

"Obviously, the Progeneration of certain minerals can't be accounted for by simple Elemental Cohesion," Gardner argued.
"I am so sorry. I had to help a co-worker with a thing." Felicity apologized returning to her seat.
"I had to have them take the steak knives away," Ray whispered to her.
"I'm sorry." She said. "Mr. Gardner, did Ray have the chance to tell you about his plans for your mineral deposits in Nevada?"
"Uh, no, Miss Smoak, as I mentioned, I'm not interested in selling." He reminded her.
"Please, call me Felicity." She asked. "And I don't blame you for not wanting to sell Ray your mine." She said causing some slight worry in Ray. "Because you don't know what his plans are. The thing about Ray is, he's not ... a businessman. Businessmen make deals. They make money. What Ray is, is ... something else entirely." She said as looked at him, slightly smitten.
"Perhaps you can enlighten us," Gardner suggested.
"He inspires. Ray isn't interested in making money. He's interested in making the world a better place. So if Ray wants your mine, believe me, it's because he's going to put it to the kind of use that's going to make you proud." She said softly and tendered, impressing Gardner, and causing Ray to smile.

"Got him," Oliver said out loud getting Laurel's attention.
"How? And more importantly where?" Laurel asked.
"Anonymous tips to the SCPD, telling us where Brickwell is. I called Felicity, had her check the cameras in the area." He explained and brought up camera photos of Brick in the treats. "He's there. Pennytown."
"Suit up." She said using Oliver's line.
Pennytown
Arriving at the location, two SCPD officers got out of their patrol car and looked around not seeing anything so far. "Dispatch this is Delta Charlie 41, responding to an anonymous tip for suspect Danny Brickwell's location. No, signs yet. About to check the perimeter." He told dispatch on his radio but before he and his partner could search the building in front of them, they immediately reacted to gunfire. It was Brick. Firing from the top floor of the building in front of them. Swiftly, the officers took cover behind their squad car. However, little do they know, Brick wasn't trying to kill them; he was just trying to make a scene for the real guests to arrive.
"Dispatch, dispatch! Delta Charlie 41 taking heavy fire. One possibly more assailants." The officer said as his partner got off a few shots at Brick's location.
Inside the building, Brick returned fire and suddenly felt a small little prick hitting his back. Turning around he saw the Green Arrow and the Black Canary, several feet from him, and immediately started grinning. "Bet you're wondering if I felt that? Truth is I've always had thick skin, even as a lad. And ever since my stint in Central City, I haven't found anything that can hurt me yet." Brick recounted to them.
"Let's change that," Oliver replied and fired an explosive arrow at Brick. It pushed him back causing him to hit the wall, but he got up from that too. Opening fire with his assault rifle, Oliver and Laurel separated, running for cover, as he opened fire on them. Since his explosive arrow didn't work, Oliver had one other option. The very second Brick's rifle ran out of ammo, Oliver fired an ensnarement arrow with extra strong wires wrapping themselves around Brick; restraining him and causing him to drop his rifle.
"Urgh. Urgh!" Brick muttered as he struggled to break free on his knees.
"Just because you can't be hurt doesn't mean you can't be restrained," Oliver told him.
Suddenly, the three overheard gunshots coming from outside. "What was that?" Laurel asked looking at Oliver.
"Oh, that would be my little backup plan, love." Brick said answering the Black Canary's question. "Asked some old mates of mine to cause some trouble, just in case I stopped firing. Tell me, who do you think called in the police?" He insinuated as the couple realized that this was a setup.
"Watch him," Oliver told Laurel, who nodded as he ran downstairs to reach the other officers. Unbeknownst to Laurel, Brick had a foldable knife in his back pocket and was tiring to cut the wires.
"Guess Robin Hood must not think that I'm much of a threat to leave a lass like you alone with me." Brick told the blonde vigilante.
"I don't think you're gonna be an issue, especially since you're all tied up," Laurel remarked.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that." Brick told her, and instantly he cut himself free from the wire cables and rushed Laurel.
Outside, the patrol officers were taking fire from Anton and Fisher, both masked. Under Brick's orders, they weren't supposed to kill anyone; just make a bit of a scene, he didn't see how much though. As one of the cops' clips emptied, Fisher saw an opportunity and was about to kill him with his MAC-10, however, immediately it was shot out of his hand by an arrow. In the alleyway, Anton saw the Green Arrow; and open fire at him.
"Dude, we need to get out of here!" Anton told Fisher, as he ran into the alleyway.
Checking on the officers, Oliver helped one of them to their feet. "Are you hurt?" Oliver asked.
"No, we're good. Thanks." The officer said as Oliver went back into the building, hopefully, Brick wasn't giving Laurel too much trouble.
Tackling Laurel in the gut, Laurel used a combo of hammerfists on Brick's back but it wasn't working; even though her gloves were lead-lined. Pushing her onto the ground, Brick stomped on her gut, and then her ribs. As Laurel coughed in pain, Brick wanted to savor this moment. "I told you before, there's nothing that can hurt me now." He gloated, standing over her.
"Actually, there is," Laurel told him.
"And what's that?"
Opening her mouth, Laurel screamed and force from it sent Bricking flying out of the window, breaking the glass, and sending him down the five-story building. "Me!" Laurel said getting up.
Finally, reaching the end of the flight of stairs, Oliver saw Laurel on the ground. "Laurel!" He shouted as she got to her feet.
"I'm fine," Laurel said as he got to her side.
"Where's Brick?"
"He's left the building." She replied literally.

Back at their HQ, Oliver was going over any surveillance footage of where Brick supposedly landed as Laurel approached him from behind; wearing only her suit's leather pants and the black sleeveless top. "Still haven't found him?" Laurel asked as Brick was gone by the time they reached the alley where he fell into.
"Traffic cam, shows him leaving Pennytown in a van not too long after you sent him flying." Oliver and turned around still in his Green Arrow suit, minus the gloves. "Something tells me he's going to go dark for a while." He mentioned to her folding his arm.
"Well, when he shows up we'll know what can work on him next time." She told him and he smiled. "You were right, I've ... I've been so focused on all the harm that comes from these powers that I haven't been thinking about all the good that can come from them."
"Always happy to remind you," He said as he gave her a quick kiss. But after he did, she kissed him back and things gradually began to heat up as their arms wrapped around each other.
"We should probably stop - I mean what if someone walks in on us?" She suggested as began kissing her neckline.
"Like that's ever stopped us before," He playfully suggested causing her to smirk. "Bed?" He suggested in between their kisses.
"Why? We've got a perfectly good desk right behind you?" She reminded him causing him to grin, as she began to unzip his suit and then tossed it aside as he put her on the desk. Removing her top, she cupped his face and kissed him softly as they fell down on Felicity's usual workstation.

"Aha. I thought I might find you here." Ray said as he walked into Felicity's office.
"I thought I'd get a jump on that Server Encryption you asked for. Trying to, you know, make up for ruining the deal tonight." She said apologetically finishing her keyboard work.
"Your definition of ruin is vastly different from mine." He said causing a small reaction. "Gardner's going to sell." He told her.
"That's amazing!" She replied.
"It's all thanks to you." He said gratefully as she let out a slight laugh.
"But really, I should be thanking you." She said getting out of her chair. "I mean, not just for the new job, but for this amazing, expensive necklace." She remark as Ray let out a disappointed chuckle. "You have to take it back, don't you?" She knew.
"Yeah, kind of do." He said moving to her.
"Yeah."
"Her let me help you." He said putting his hands around her neck to remove the jewelry.
"Hmm. Thank you."
"You know, Felicity Smoak, you're different from anyone I've ever met. And you deserve all those things, and more." He said both smiling as took off the necklace. As he moved, the two kissed one another softly and deeply. However, almost just as quickly, Ray pulled back. "I'm – I'm sorry, I, um … I meant to keep tonight platonic. Ahh … I should go."
"Um, Ray?" She said a little concerned and certainly confused.
"I'll see you tomorrow." He told her with a sad smile.
"Ok." She said reluctantly as she felt a little discouraged.

As the club reached its closing time, Thea began counting her money as Chase came up behind her. "Pretty good gate tonight." He told her.
"You're never going to let me forget this, are you?" Thea said with a smile.
"You have to admit, I did save your ass." He reminded her.
"God, your modesty, it's – it's so refreshing." She said sarcastically.
"You know, you're really cute when you're sarcastic." He flirted causing her to chuckle.
"Half the gate, as agreed." She said handing him as pay. Moving in, Chase proceeded to kiss her causing a little surprise.
"Keep the money. My grand reopening gift to you. See you next week." He said as he left causing her to chuckle.

"Yep, I just sent the notarized transfer of ownership to Gardner's attorney," Ray said on his earphone. "Now listen, I want to get a jump on the mining operations immediately. Let me know as soon as the first of the Dwarf Star Alloy is extracted. Thanks." He said hanging up. And then brought up the schematics for his secret project, the A.T.O.M. Exosuit. The computer then generated a holographic outline of the suit, and Ray solemnly looked at it.

Looking around, Laurel couldn't find her top which she tossed aside as she and Oliver were getting "work" done on the computer station. "Here," Oliver said to Laurel holding out her top.
"Thanks," Laurel replied putting it back on. "Ah, can't believe we just did that. Argh, we can never tell Felicity that happened." She said laughing slightly.
"Goes without saying." He laughed off and then saw Felicity walk down the steps in a very expensive-looking dress. "Speak of the devil." He noted causing Laurel to see her as well.
"Oh good, you're here," Felicity remarked anxiously as she approached the lovers.
"Felicity, you look great. Is that Couture?" Laurel asked curiously as she might wanna borrow that dress at some point.
"It is and I know it's fabulous. But we have a problem right now." Felicity said getting to her workstation.
"Felicity, what's wrong?" Oliver asked.
"It's - why are you shirtless?" Felicity asked staring at him, briefly.
"I was ... Laurel and I were working out," Oliver replied which wasn't untrue.
"Of course, sorry," Felicity replied typing rapidly on her computer. "Why are some of my things out of order?" She wondered as Oliver and Laurel bite their tongues and made awkward faces at her response. "Never mind, this was just posted online over an hour ago." She said and Oliver and Laurel saw the video footage. It was Roy, during his fight against Brick. More specifically, it was Roy getting beaten by Brick.
"Where did this come from?" Oliver asked Felicity worriedly.
"Brick must've had a body camera on him during his fights with you guy," Felicity answered and immediately it showed, Oliver firing his arrows at Brick. Arrows that did nothing to him. "The video was posted from a public computer, so Brick could've gone anywhere to upload it." She informed him.
"It already has 10,000 views," Laurel noted.
"Yeah, by tomorrow you can add another zero or two to it," Felicity remarked.
"Why did Brick post this?" Laurel asked as the video then show her getting stomped on by Brick."
"To send a message," Oliver answered for her.
"What message?" Felicity asked.
"Brickwell posted this video to show the rest of Starling City that we couldn't hurt him ... and that he can hurt us. Everything, he's done so far it's been about building up his street cred; showing people that they should be afraid of him, and showing the criminals of Starling that they don't need to fear us." Oliver explained worried about what was coming.
Author's Notes: I'll be skipping the Flash/Arrow crossover as there wasn't really much I needed to change or edit for that story.
