Chapter Three: Welcome to Maid Latte.

Naruto yawned as he woke up. Luckily, he made sure to turn on the alarm clock. He went to the bathroom and took a quick warm shower. It woke him up instantly. Back in the leaf, he didn't have this luxury. When he was a young boy, he always took cold showers because either his landlord was a greedy bastard, or he did it to spite Naruto. He wasn't very popular in those days. Only after he defeated pain and saved the leaf village did people finally start to respect him. Not all of them, of course. Many still hold a grudge against him. He stepped out of the shower and began to brush his teeth. When he was finished, he changed into his fresh clothes. Dark-blue jeans with a black shirt. And a dark-orange pullover with black sneakers.

(I have no fashion sense whatsoever, lol.)

When he walked into the kitchen, he saw Sasuke eating some cereal.

Sasuke looked up and smirked at his friend. "Well, look who decided to wake up. And on time, no less. Guess I don't have to burn your ramen stash."

"Very funny, Sasuke." The blond took a bowl from the kitchen cabinet and sat down in front of Sasuke to get some cereal too.

Sasuke was surprised. "What? No ramen. Are you feeling alright?"

Naruto sighed. "Yeah, I just don't feel like it today. I'm still thinking what happened last night."

"What? That you freely have shown our abilities to a person you just met without thinking about the consequences," the Uchiha said with a tick mark on his forehead.

Naruto frowned at Sasuke's words. "No, not that. Besides, I had no choice."

Naruto thought back to the sick bastard he encountered yesterday. The whole night he was turning in his sleep, thinking of one possibility. What if he had never entered that arcade? What if he just went straight back home and never encountered Suzuna Chan. Would she have died? The thought alone made his stomach turn. And what about Misa Chan, and Minako San. They would have lost an important person in their lives. Naruto wanted to make sure the Ayuzawa family was protected. So he put a marker on their bodies without them noticing. It would give him a signal when they were in danger.

Sasuke sighed. "Yes, you are right, Naruto. I think I would have done the same thing. Though, I would probably have burned the bastard to ashes," said Sasuke with a smirk.

"Oh, trust me. I wanted to throw a Rasen shuriken to the bastard. Or maybe go Kyuubi mode on the sick fuck and use a tail beast bomb to erase him from existence," said Naruto with gritted teeth.

"But I couldn't do that. Not with Suzuna Chan standing so close to me."

Sasuke nodded. "Yeah, you are right. Anyway, you better hurry, or you going to be late," said Sasuke.

"I'm going to do some grocery shopping and visit that arcade place you talked about. See ya later. And make sure you don't get fired on your first day."

The Uchiha stood up and walked out of their apartment.

Naruto sighed. "Oh well, better get going." The blond finished his cereal and walked out of the apartment building.

Naruto was waiting for his train to get to his new workplace.

"Oh man, I can't wait to put a marker on the building of my new job. This takes forever."

He suddenly heard heavy breathing. It sounded like someone was running. Naruto looked at the stairs. He suddenly heard a familiar voice.

"Ah crap, I overslept. Let's hope the second train hasn't left yet."

Naruto grinned. He recognized the voice immediately. When the owner of the voice reached the top of the stairs. Naruto's grin became bigger.

"Misa Chan, It's you."

Misaki looked surprised at the blond. "Naruto? What are you doing here?"

Naruto walked up to her and hugged the teenage girl.

"I'm waiting for the train to get to my new job. I'm so happy to see you, Misa Chan. I was so bored by myself."

The girl's face turned completely red. "N-naruto, we are in a public place. You can't just start hugging me like that."

An old man who sat on a nearby bench chuckled while drinking his tea. "Oh please, don't mind me. Ah, young love," he said while smiling.

Misaki blushed even harder at the older man's words. Naruto stopped hugging Misaki.

"Oh, sorry about that. I was just happy to see you." He grinned while scratching his head.

Misaki sighed. "It's good to see you too. But please remain from hugging me in public places." She had a slight blush on her face.

Damm, he must work out a lot, she thought. When Naruto had hugged her. She could feel his well-developed muscles. No, bad Misaki. Stop thinking those dirty thoughts.

"By the way, how is Suzuna Chan doing. And what about you," Naruto said with a worried look.

Misaki had a slight smile on her face. "I am fine, Naruto but thanks for asking. As for Suzuna, it's hard to say. Yesterday, I could see by her behavior that she was not acting how she usually would. But today, she seemed okay. Then again, she could be hiding it so she wouldn't worry us."

Naruto frowned at her words. "I see."

They both suddenly heard their train arriving. They both boarded the train and sat down next to each other. The older man from earlier followed them and sat down a few seats away from the young couple. Well, at least that's what he thought was the case.

Naruto smiled at Misaki. "So, I heard from Suzuna Chan you do Aikido."

Misaki grinned. "Yep, and I'm very proud of my skills."

Naruto smiled at the young woman's confidence.

"So, what about you," said Misaki.

Naruto tilted his head in confusion. "Me?"

Misaki chuckled at the blond's confused face.

"Yeah, after what Suzuna said yesterday about you defeating that serial killer who was armed with a butcher knife." Misaki grinned. "You should at least have some fighting experience."

Naruto scratched his head in embarrassment. "Well, I do have some experience in Taekwondo, Jujitsu, and Muay Thai. However, the martial arts I practice the most is Kung Fu."

Misaki looked at Naruto in amazement. "Wow, four styles. That's certainly impressive."

Naruto blushed at the praise. "Thanks. It took a lot of sweat, blood, and tears to get on the level I am today. As a kid, I always was a bit of a slow learner and usually didn't pay much attention in class. I even gave my instructor a lot of trouble."

Naruto had a small smile on his face. Thinking back to his childhood days when Iruka always reprimanded him for his antics.

Misaki grinned. "So you were a bit of a troublemaker. Just to let you know, Naruto. At school, I'm the Study body President. It's my job to make sure everything runs smoothly. They are a lot of rowdy guys at our school who don't follow academy rules."

"Oh, really? What makes them so rowdy?"

Misaki frowned. "Coming late to school, not appropriately dressed, inappropriate behavior. Meika high recently has been turned coed, thanks to all of my hard work. I want to make sure that our school will become a place where female students and vice versa will feel safe."

Naruto nodded. "Seems like a good thing. Everyone should feel themselves comfortable in a school environment. However, is being dressed properly really such a big deal," said Naruto with a frown. "I mean, I saw those school uniforms we are supposed to wear." The blond shuddered. "I really don't like those colors."

Misaki sweatdropped. "You are probably the first person who I ever heard complaining about how they look. What's wrong with them?"

Naruto pouted. "There's no orange in them."

Misaki chuckled at her new friend's answer. "Well, tough luck. Although, I guess if you would help me with my council work sometimes. I may be able to convince the principal for you to wear an orange tie."

Naruto smiled at Misaki. "You mean it. Thanks, Misa Chan." He gave his new friend a big hug. "You're the nicest girl ever."

Misaki's face turned cherry red by Naruto's actions.

"How many times do I have to tell you. STOP HUGGING ME IN PUBLIC," Misaki screamed at Naruto.

She gave the blond a punch in the head. Naruto fell down with a bump on his head.

"Oh no," said Misaki worried. She acted on instinct. She didn't mean to hit him that hard. "Naruto, are you alright?"

Naruto easily recovered from the hit. "Yeah, I'm okay." He grinned at Misaki. "You sure hit hard. I feel sorry for all those guys at Meika high."

Misaki was surprised at Naruto's quick recovery. Sure, that punch she gave him wasn't her hardest. She only gave those to criminals and people who really deserved it. But still. That punch she gave Naruto still gave some black belts trouble. But Naruto shrugged her hit off like it was nothing. How strong was the blond? Before Misaki could answer her friend, she heard a voice through the intercom.

"Ladies and gentlemen. We will be arriving at our next stop shortly. Please make sure you have all your belongings with you."

"This is my stop," Naruto and Misaki said at the same time.

They both looked surprised at each other. "Wait, this is your stop, too," said Misaki.

Naruto nodded. They both stood up and exited the train.

"Oh crap, it's already nine, and my shift starts at 9:15 am. Sorry, Naruto, I'm running late. I'll see you later, okay."

Naruto nodded. "Sure, later, Misa Chan," the blond said with a grin and a wave of his hand.

The teenage girl smiled at the blond. She ran as fast as she could towards her destination. Naruto sighed. He still had more than enough time left before his shifts started. But better early than being late. He looked at his cellphone.

"Mmm, let's see. The address was…."

Misaki sighed in relief when she entered maid latte. "Yes, I made it on time."

"Cutting it a little close, aren't you, Misaki," said a green-haired beauty with green eyes and glasses. She wore a black and white maid outfit.

"Hey, Subaru. Sorry, I overslept."

The girl ran towards the lockers to change into her maid outfit.

"Good morning, Misaki. Did you overslept?"

Misaki looked at the owner of the voice.

"Hey, manager. Yeah, sorry about that," she said with a bow. "Yesterday was a bit hectic."

"Oh, what happened," said Satsuki, curious.

When Misaki told her what happened yesterday, she looked shocked.

"Oh my, is Suzuna Chan alright?"

"Yeah, thanks to a new friend, she is alright," she said with a smile and a slight blush.

Satsuki giggled when she saw the blush. "Oh my, has this rescuer captured your heart by any chance?"

"W-what? N-no, of course n-not," Misaki said with her face turning even redder.

"Oh my, you don't have to be so embarrassed, Misaki Chan," the manager said with a giggle. "I completely understand that you fancy this mysterious stranger that rescued your sister from harm. It's like something out of a love novel," Satsuki said with a dreamy expression on her face.

Suddenly, a dark presence was felt throughout the locker room. "My, aren't you two having fun."

They all looked in the direction of the voice. They saw a blond woman with a standard maid outfit. She was beautiful. However, the dark aura she emitted was terrifying the two.

"H-Honoka," said Misaki with a nervous smile.

Subaru, who came to check the commotion, sweatdropped when she saw her friend. "Uh oh, dark Honoka makes an appearance."

Honoka had a dark look on her face when she looked at Misaki. "If you haven't noticed, your shift started 5 minutes ago. Stop with the pleasantries and get to work."

Misaki frowned at Honoka's words. She took a deep breath and walked towards her workstation. When Misaki left the changing room, Satsuki glared at Honoka. The blond was surprised at her manager's look. She had never looked that angry at her before.

"Honoka, that was very rude. Misaki's sister almost got killed yesterday. I want you to apologize to Misaki immediately."

Subaru and Honoka looked shocked. "WHAT," they screamed.

"Oh no, is Suzuna Chan alright," said Subaru.

Satsuki nodded. "Yes. Fortunately, a person saved Suzuna from being killed. But I want you all to be extra nice to Misaki."

The two nodded.

"And Honoka, don't forget that apology. I have tolerated your behavior towards Misaki so far. But if you cross the line next time, you won't have a job to come back to. Is that understood?"

Honoka nodded meekly. "Yes, I understand."

"Good," said Satsuki.

An auburn-haired girl about nineteen walked inside the room. She still wore her normal clothes since she had just arrived. She had an amazing figure and was well-endowed.

"Hey, what's wrong with Misaki? She seems a bit down."

"Ah, Erika. Good morning dear."

Satsuki began to explain the reason for Misaki's state.

"Oh, poor Suzuna Chan. No wonder Misaki seemed out of it."

Satsuki nodded. "Yes, so I want each of you to be extra nice towards her. Is that clear?"

Erika nodded with a smile. "But of course. But I am a little bit curious about that stranger that saved Suzuna Chan. Do you think he/she is cute?"

Satsuki giggled. "Misaki did have a slight blush when she was talking about her sister's savior. So my guess is yes."

Misaki was busy serving the customers. "Here you go, my Master. I hope you enjoy your coffee," she said with a smile.

"T-thank y-you," said the man in his twenties with a stutter and a slight blush.

Misaki suddenly heard the bell from the entrance door ring. She gave a lovely smile. "Welcome to maid latte, my Master. How can I be of service?"

Naruto blinked. He suddenly turned cherry red. "Euh… M-Misa chan."

Misaki opened her eyes at the familiar voice. "Oh, hey, Naruto."

It suddenly clicked for the young woman. "N-Naruto. W-what a-are y-you d-doing h-here."

Misaki was in complete shock. Her mind was having a nervous breakdown. "Oh no. Naruto will think I'm a total weirdo, dressed like this."

Naruto's mind had a different experience. "Oh, crap. Misaki is so cute in that maid outfit. And did she call me Master?"

Kurama let out a perverted chuckle. "Oh, Naruto. This vixen is certainly something else. You only have met her yesterday, and she's already dressing herself up and calling you Master. Think of all the naughty things you two could do. Your Sensei and late Master Jiraya would be so proud."

"Shut up, you perverted fox," thought Naruto with a blush. Oh great, now Kurama sends naughty images of Misaki in his mind.

Satsuki, Honoka, Subaru, and Erika, who walked from the back of the shop, blushed at the appearance of the handsome-looking teen. Blond hair kissed by the sun. Tanned skin and Ocean-blue eyes where you could get lost in. But the most noticeable about the boy were the three whisker marks on each side of his cheek. It gave the young man an exotic look.

"Wow," said Erika. "Who is that cutie?"

"I don't have a clue," said Subaru. "But Misaki seems to know him."

"Huh," said Honoka. "Maybe he is a friend from school."

Satsuki nodded. "That may explain why Misaki is so embarrassed. She did say she wanted to keep it a secret at school."

Naruto nervously scratched his head. "Uh, this is maid latte, isn't it? Or, did I get the wrong place again?"

Satsuki suddenly appeared next to Misaki. "Yes, it is, my Master. Are you a friend of Misaki, perhaps?"

"Yeah, I am." Naruto had a grin on his face. "Misaki is such a nice person."

The girls all chuckled at the boy's goofy attitude.

"Well, since you are a friend of Misaki, this may be a bit awkward for her to serve you like this. You may choose one of the other girls if you like."

The three girls winked at Naruto.

Misaki suddenly had a tick mark on her face. None of these hussies will lay a finger on him. But before Misaki could protest, Naruto spoke up.

"Uh, that's really nice of you. But I am not here as a customer."

The five girls were confused at Naruto's words. "You aren't? But why are you here then," said Honoka.

"Could it be," said Erika with a grin. "You are here to confess your eternal love for Misaki."

"Oh my," said Subaru. That's so romantic.

Misaki's face turned completely red. E-eternal l-love. N-no way, t-that's way too soon. Besides, they only met each other yesterday. They haven't even gone out on a proper date yet. Dammit, why am I even thinking these thoughts?

Naruto was in the same state Misaki was. "No, I mean yes. What I'm trying to say is. Misaki is a lovely girl. But we only met yesterday."

The blond's head was like a cooking furnace. Misaki's heart was beating harshly by Naruto's words.

Doki Doki. (Sorry about that. I always wanted to write that.)

"We haven't even been on a proper date yet," said Naruto in embarrassment.

"Well, that's is your fault, isn't it," said Satsuki. "You are the guy. You should make an effort to ask a girl out."

The other three girls nodded their heads. Kurama was laughing all the way through this awkward conversation.

"I don't know how you always get yourself in these moments. But it's funny as hell."

"Dammit, Kurama. Stop laughing and help me out."

"Sorry, Naruto. But you are on your own for this." Kurama grinned. "I think I am gonna take a small nap. Have fun."

"No, Kurama."

Naruto sighed. "Damm, that furball."

Satsuki, Subaru, Erika, and Honoka suddenly appeared in front of Naruto's face.

"Now, be a man for once and ask Misaki Chan out on a date," said Satsuki.

"Yeah," said Erika. "Girls don't like it if a man can't make decisions for themselves."

"Be more assertive," Honoka said with a glare. "If you don't, some other guy will steal Misaki from you."

"But be gentle also," said Subaru. "Don't be too aggressive because that will make a girl uncomfortable."

"B-but I-I. I mean, I'm not. What I am trying to say is."

Naruto looked at Misaki for help. But the girl herself was looking at Naruto with a flushed face. Misaki didn't know what to do. A part of her wanted to stop this conversation and help her blond friend. But the other part didn't mind Naruto asking her out. And also, a small part of her wanted to know what Naruto would say. After a few more minutes of pushing from the four girls. Naruto finally snapped.

"FINE! MISA CHAN, LET'S GO OUT ON A DATE TOMORROW!"

Misaki's face turned completely red. "Whaaaaaaat," she screamed in her mind.

But on the outside, she nodded meekly. "S-sure p-pick me up a-at o-one a clock."

Naruto nodded. His face was in the same state as his friend's. The four girls cried out in victory. While this was happening, all the customers in the shop had mixed feelings. Some of them smiled at the scene and were happy for the two of them. But others were sad because their Misa was going out with someone else. After a few minutes had passed. Naruto finally calmed down introduced himself towards the maid latte staff. And told him the reason why he was actually here.

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto," he said with a bow. He grinned at the five girls. "Starting today, I will be working here as a dishwasher. Please take care of me."

The five girls were shocked. "WHAT!"

"Ohhh," said Satsuki. "I completely forgot you would arrive today. Sorry for the misunderstanding."

Naruto grinned. "That's alright. I guess I should have been more clear from the start." Naruto blushed. "But seeing Misa Chan in a maid outfit and calling me Master took me by surprise," he said with a nervous chuckle.

Misaki blushed. "N-naruto, I-if you d-don't want to g-go on a d-date with me. I-I w-would completely u-understand. You don't have to."

Dammit, why did she sound so sad? Why is her heart pounding like this? She had never experienced this before. Not with anyone.

Naruto smiled at the young teen. "It's alright, Misa Chan. I don't mind."

Naruto blushed and nervously scratched his head. I'm actually happy you said yes. I never went on a date before."

The two were in a world of their own. Looking at each other with blushes on their faces.

"Okay, I think that's enough romance for today. It's time for work, everyone. Naruto, come with me. I will show you to the locker room so you can change in your uniform."

The blond nodded. He looked at Misaki one more time. "See ya later," said Naruto with a smile.

Misaki smiled also. "Yeah, later."

The blond followed the manager of maid latte. Ready to start his first day at his new job.

Sasuke was walking through town while whistling a tune. He just dropped off the groceries that he bought a while ago back at the apartment. He was now on his way to that arcade place that Naruto talked about. After a while, he arrived at his destination.

"This must be it." The building was packed with people of different ages playing all kinds of games. Well, it was Saturday. "Damm, I hate crowds."

Sasuke walked inside and began to look around. "Mmm, what should I play?"

He suddenly saw a free machine all the way in the back.

"Huh? Mario kart?" Sasuke shrugged. "Oh well, I might as well try it out since I'm here. Mmm, this game is some kind of racing game with vehicles. Now, who to pick?"

After a while of thinking, Sasuke decided to use a green-looking dinosaur with a long red tong. (Yoshi. Just for those who never played Mario kart before.) after a few games, Sasuke had enough of playing. It was not bad. It sure was a fun way to pass the time. But he wasn't going to waste his whole day in this arcade. After a while, the Uchiha found himself at the park. He breathed in and out.

"Now, this is much better. Fresh air."

He walked over a small bridge that went over a huge pound with all different kinds of fish inside. When he reached the other side, Sasuke's face turned a bit sad. He saw rows of huge Cherry Blossom trees that were in full bloom. It reminded him of a particular person.

"Sakura," said the ex-avenger with sorrow in his eyes. "I'm sorry for all the terrible things I did. And I'm sorry I can't be with you to make amends. I hope that you continue on living. That you don't feel down on yourself for what happened to us. No matter where we are or how far apart we are from each other. We will always be team seven."

Sasuke was broken from his thoughts. He saw someone sleeping on a bench. At first, he thought it was Naruto.

"That moron. Did he play hooky, or has he been fired again from his job?"

But when Sasuke took a closer look, he saw no whisker marks on the sleeping teen's cheeks.

"Okay, either that moron is playing a prank on me, or somehow the fourth Hokage managed to come back alive as a teen and followed us here to this world."

Suddenly the teen woke up. He stretched his arms and yawned. When the teen opened his eyes, Sasuke immediately knew this wasn't Naruto, nor the fourth. Rather than the usual blue eyes. The Uchiha saw forest-green eyes instead.

"That was a great nap," said the teen. He looked in Sasuke's direction. "Hey man, you want to use this bench? It's free."

Sasuke shook his head. "Nah, I'm good. I only came here because I thought you were somebody I knew. You two look alike, except for a few details."

"Huh, you don't say. Are we really that similar to each other?"

Sasuke smirked. "Yeah, except for having green eyes instead of blue. And you have no birthmarks on your cheeks. You could easily be mistaken as Naruto's twin."

The teen chuckled. "Okay, now you picked my interest. Tell me. This Naruto, what's he like."

Sasuke snorted. "A complete moron who likes ramen."

The teen sweatdropped. "Okay, good to know. Is that all?"

Sasuke shook his head. "No, but I don't know you that well enough to give my friend's personal information."

"Fair enough," said the teen with a smile. How about we introduce ourselves first. My name is Usui Takumi. So, what's your name?"

"Uchiha Sasuke," said the teen with a smile.

"Well, Sasuke san. How about I treat you to some lunch. I know a good Sushi place around the corner."

"I hope you are not asking me out on a date. I don't swing that way, no offense."

Usui chuckled. "Nah, you don't have to worry about that. I am straight also. I only wanted to know more about this Naruto character. In exchange, I'll be more than happy to tell you about me."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. "Why are you so interested in Naruto?"

Usui shrugged. "Well, it's not often you find out there's a guy who looks like you. I'm just curious. That's all. You can refuse my offer if you want to. It's not like I'm forcing you, now is it," said Usui with a grin.

Sasuke shrugged his shoulders. "Okay, I don't mind. But don't think I'm going to reveal everything there is to know about Naruto." He gave Usui a warning glare. "Though an idiot he may be. He is still the closest thing I have as a brother."

Usui smiled. "I understand. But I must say. Most people would leave morons to their own devices. For you to call him brother must mean there is something special about my doubleganger."

Sasuke smiled a bit. "Yeah, you could say that."

"Well then, shall we be off. Follow me."

Sasuke followed his new acquaintance. "So, here's a question for you," said Sasuke.

"Yes?"

"Why do you sleep on a bench in the middle of the day?"

"Well, I like to take good naps. And this bench is a good hiding place from all my fangirls."

Sasuke shivered. "Yeah, I get you. Fangirls are the worst."

That was one thing he didn't look forward to when he was going to start school. They arrived at a small diner where they sold Sushi. After they sat down and ordered their food. Usui started the conversation.

"So, what is for you this Naruto's most positive trait."

Sasuke thought for a bit. "Mmm, I guess his amazing determination. When he sets his mind on something, he will do it, no matter how difficult or impossible it is."

Usui grinned. "Great, that's something we have in common."

Sasuke looked surprised. "Oh, you do?"

The blond teen nodded. "Yes, not many things interest me. But if there is something that catches my eye and I want it." Usui grinned. "Then I'm determined to get it, no matter how hard it may be."

Sasuke smiled. "I see. Well, it's my time to ask a question, if you don't mind."

"Please, go right ahead," said Usui.

Sasuke smirked. "What do you think is your most positive quality?"

Usui chuckled. "My, what a way to turn my question back against me. Mmm, well, if I have to choose, I say I'm pretty confident in my physical ability and my knowledge."

"Heh, well, I guess you win knowledge department. But in strength." Sasuke smirked. "I don't think you would stand a chance."

Usui frowned. "How can you be sure? You haven't seen what I'm capable of."

Sasuke shrugged. It comes with experience, I guess. I can mostly see at a glance a person fighting abilities. And against Naruto," he said with a smirk. "You would stand no chance."

Usui had a tick mark on his forehead. "Oh really. Next thing you're going to tell me is that I would stand no chance fighting you."

"Heh, if you can't beat Naruto. Then you have no chance against me."

Usui snorted. "You sure think highly of yourself."

The Uchiha shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe I am. However, I know what I'm capable of. I'm a lot stronger than Naruto."

Sasuke was lying, of course. In strength, he and Naruto were about equal. Sasuke did have the advantage in speed by a bit. But with Naruto, unpredictability in battle. Plus, his monstrous stamina. It didn't make that much of a difference. Although, If the blond uses his Sage mode, that's a different story. If either of them would fight for real, he had no idea who the winner would be. The only time they fought each other for real was back in The Valley of the End. Sasuke won that fight back then by the nick of his skin. But that was only because Naruto stopped his attack at the last second. Sasuke still remembered how his Chidori penetrated his friend's chest. What was worse, that moron had a smile on his face the whole time. He didn't know what it meant back then. But now he did. It was Naruto's way of saying he would burden all of his hatred. All the hate the Uchiha felt back then. Naruto would take it and change it to something positive. A meaning of understanding between each other by the bond they both share. Sasuke had a sad smile on his face. That moron, Sasuku thought.

"Are you okay," said Usui worried for his new acquaintance. "You look like something is bothering you."

"Yeah, I'm alright. Just thinking about the past. And the stupid mistakes I have made."

Usui nodded. "I see. Well, we all have some kind of skeletons in our closets. I won't pry any further. Besides, our food is ready."

The waiter placed their order in front of them. "Enjoy your Sushi, my good sir's."

"Thank's, we will," said Usui.

"So, now it's my time to ask a question. This Naruto, does he have any siblings?"

Sasuke frowned. "He has me."

Usui chuckled. "I mean besides you. Blood-related."

Sasuke shook his head. "No, Naruto's parents died when he was still a baby."

"Oh," said Usui with a sad look. "So he was an orphan."

Sasuke nodded.

"Did someone adopt him?"

"No," said Sasuke. "He lived his whole childhood all alone."

Usui sighed. "I see. I have an older brother and some family left. So, I wasn't completely alone like Naruto was. That must haven't been easy."

"No, it wasn't. Naruto always felt alone. And the people of our village didn't like him. They either ignored him, or they charged him too much on basic necessities."

"What! Why would they do that to a child," said Usui?

"Sorry, but you have to convince Naruto to tell you that. It's not my place to say."

Usui gritted his teeth but nodded.

"Well, anyway. I guess it's back my turn to ask you something. Back when you were talking about your sibling and your family, you didn't sound so happy. Why is that? Or is that something you rather not talk about?"

Usui sighed. "A little bit. It's very complicated my family household. I was born as an illegitimate child. My mother fell in love with her Japanese butler. When she fell ill and found out she was pregnant with me, she fled to Japan."

"I see. Is your mother still alive?"

Usui shook his head. "No, she died in childbirth."

Takumi sighed. "Dammit, why am I telling this? I never talk about my personal life. How come I am telling about it to this teen I just met?"

(Hanging with Naruto all the time has its perks. Naruto is able to befriend almost anyone quickly. So, Sasuke acquired a bit of Naruto's natural charm. Lol. Oh, by the way, you guys. How should I write Takumi's name in this sorry? When someone is talking to him in the anime, he is mostly called Usui. His adopted family name. Naruto will definitely call him either Takumi or Takumi San. For now, I do a bit of both.)

"You know, I never talk about personal life with someone before... I don't know why I told you."

Sasuke shrugged his shoulders. "How should I know? So, do you have another question?"

Takumi nodded. "Yeah, but it's a question for you."

"For me," said Sasuke surprised.

"Yeah. Since I talked about my family, it's only natural you do the same courtesy," Takumi said with a grin.

Sasuke snorted. "I never told you to tell me about your family. You did that all by yourself."

Suddenly he saw Usui looking at him with a sad puppy dog look. For a moment, it looked like he saw an image behind the teen of a begging dog.

Sasuke sighed. "Fine, I guess I can tell you a little bit. I had one elder brother. He was my idol when I was younger."

"Really," said Usui with a grin. "What's his name?" Wait did Sasuke say, was his idol?

"His name was Uchiha Itachi. But he died a while ago."

"I see. Sorry for bringing up that memory."

Sasuke sighed. "Nah, it's no big deal."

After they finished their food. And some time had gone by. Sasuke decided to get back to the apartment.

"Well, thanks for the food, Usui San. But I better get back home. Naruto will be back home in a few hours, and I still need to make dinner."

Takumi smiled. "Hey, you don't have to call me in such a formal way. We had a deep man-to-man conversation. Call me Takumi," the blond said.

"Very well, Takumi San," said Sasuke with a slight smile.

"Oh, before you go. Which school do you go to?"

"Naruto and I are transferring to Meika high next week," said Sasuke. "Why?"

Takumi smirked. "That's good. It seems we will see each other again very soon." Takumi stood up from his seat. "After all, that's my high school. See ya later, Sasuke."

Usui walked outside the diner while he waved goodbye.

Sasuke smirked. "Later Takumi."

"And that's the last plate," said Naruto with a smile.

Satsuki smiled. "Thanks, Naruto. You are very efficient and fast in cleaning plates."

Naruto grinned. "Thanks. I worked in a ramen restaurant as a dishwasher for a whole month. So I have some experience."

"Oh? Then why did you quit your old job?"

"Uh, I may have accidentally eaten all the ramen in stock," the shinobi said with an embarrassed look.

Satsuki began to laugh. "Very funny, Naruto."

But when she saw his expression, her eyes widened. "Wait, you're serious?"

"Yeah," said Naruto with an embarrassed chuckle. "I have a serious appetite when it comes to ramen."

"Oh my," said Satsuki. "I hope you don't plan to do the same things to our sweets. I'll be out of business," she said with a nervous look.

"Nah, I do like sweets, but not as much as I like ramen."

Satsuki sighed in relief. "Well, your first day is almost done. Could you please help Misaki out with cleaning the store and putting the thrash outside?"

"Sure, I'll be happy to help Misa Chan out," said Naruto with a grin.

Erika, who was standing close by, chuckled.

"My, of course, you would. What man would not help his girlfriend out."

Naruto blushed. "G-girlfriend," stuttered the blond. "Misa Chan is not yet my girlfriend."

Erika smirked. "Not yet? So, does that mean you want it to happen?"

Naruto's face went completely cherry red. "I mean, ye- no, goddammit," said Naruto with a blush.

Satsuki giggled. "Erika Chan, that's enough teasing our new staff member."

"I just can't help it. Naru Chan is so cute when he is blushing."

"N-naru Chan," said Naruto. He could not take it anymore. "I'm going to help Miss Chan." He ran as fast as he could out of the kitchen.

"He sure is cute when he blushes like that," said Erika with a grin.

"My, Erika Chan. Are you planning to steal Naru Chan away from Misaki?"

Erika shrugged her shoulders. "If Misaki is not planning to date him, then it's free rein, isn't it? Besides, he is so cute."

Satsuki nodded. "Yes, that he is. But, promise me you don't get in their way if they do start dating. I don't want any fights between staff members. Is that understood?"

Erika nodded. "Sure, no problem."

Misaki smiled as she cleaned the last table of the day. "Well, that should do it. Now I only need to take the thrash out."

"Hey, Misa Chan."

"Oh, Naruto," said Misaki with a slight blush. "Are you finished for today?"

"Yep. It looks like you are too."

Misaki nodded. "Yes, I only need to take the trash outside."

Naruto looked at the four garbage bags. "Uh, do you need some help," he said with a nervous blush.

"Sure," said Misaki with a thankful smile.

They took each two garbage bags in their hands and walked outside through the back.

Subaru and Honoka giggled. "They sure make a cute couple," said Subaru.

Honoka grinned. "That they do. But, do you think they have to courage to confess to each other?"

"Who knows," said Subaru. "But Erika did say earlier to me that if Misaki doesn't date him, she will."

Honoka grinned. "My, competition huh. Now that would be fun to watch. I must say, I didn't picture Erika going after a guy three years her junior."

Subaru chuckled. "Me neither. But you have to admit. He is cute. Too bad he isn't a few years older."

Honoka smirked. "Yeah, maybe. And I have to admit those whisker marks make him look so exotic. Who knows. If Misaki isn't going to date him and it doesn't work out for Erika. I may take a shot at him in a couple of years," said Honoka with a grin.

Subaru pouted. "Hey, I called first dibs. No fair Honoka."

The blond beauty grinned. "All is fair in love and war."

They suddenly heard the door of the store open. "Sorry, but we are closed."

Subaru's eyes widened when she saw three men standing in the opening of the shop. Two of the man were dressed like some kind of bodyguards. They were huge. Almost seven feet tall. But it was the third one that made Subaru and even Honoka grit their teeth.

"You again," said Honoka angrily. "How many times do we have to refuse to get it through your thick skull."

The man chuckled. "I can be very stubborn. Now, why don't you maids call your boss? I have my final offer, and for her sake, she better agree."

The two men behind him smirked and cracked their knuckles. The girls glared at the three men. Unlike Misaki, they had no fighting experience. And those two goons looked a lot tougher than those low lives from last week.

"What is going on here?" Satsuki walked inside the shop from the kitchen with Erika following her.

"Ah, Miss Satsuki. I am here with another offer."

Satsuki glared at the man. "How many times do I have to tell you? Maid Latte is not for sale. I don't care what kind of offer you bring to the table. So, please leave," said Satsuki.

The man frowned. "Is that so. Well, that's too bad. I was hoping to avoid violence. Remember, you brought this on yourself."

He gave the sign to his two bodyguards.

"Stop it," said Satsuki. "We can easily charge you three for illegal entering. Not to mention, sue you all for assault."

The man smirked. "Lady, when we are finished with you three, you won't be able to say anything at all."

"Hey, boss," said one of the goons. He licked his lips when he looked at Erika. "This girl is just my type. May I have some fun with her?"

"Sure, go right ahead," said the man with an evil grin.

The four girls shivered. Erika yelped when one goon took her by the hair. The poor girl was crying.

"NOOO, LET ME GO," she screamed in terror.

"Shut up bitch." The man smacked the girl on her face.

"ERIKA," the girls screamed.

"You bastard, let her go," said Honoka, who tried to help her friend. But the other goon grabbed the blond girl by the neck.

"Hey, this girl is pretty feisty. Just how I like them." The man licked Honoka's neck.

"Sick bastard, let me go."

"Stop this at once. Those poor girls have nothing to do with it," Satsuki said with tears flowing out of her eyes. "I will sell, so please stop this."

The man grinned evilly. "I would like to. But, once my men get excited like this, there is no stopping them. Besides, I gave you enough chances."

Subaru walked towards the goon who held Honoka. "Please stop this. What your doing is inhuman. Please, stop hurting my friend."

The goon frowned. "Get out of my way, you bitch."

The man slapped the girl with such force that she fell on the floor, knocked out. The blow made the green-haired girl's glasses fall on the floor.

The man smirked. "Hey, without those glasses, she is pretty hot. I think after I have my fun with this one, I am going to fuck her next."

"That manager is pretty hot too, but this one's boobs out of this world." The man began to grope the well-endowed woman.

"Nooo, stop it," said Erika with a scared look. Tears were falling out of her eyes.

"Damm, this girl's screams make me hot. I can't control myself anymore."

The goon ripped the top part of the girl's maid costume off.

"NOOOOO," screamed Erika.

The other goon ripped off Honoka's lower half.

"You bastard, don't you dare," said Honoka.

The goon licked his lips. "Don't worry, sweetheart. I'll be gentle."

He lowered his pants and placed his junior at her exposed parts.

"NOOOOOO," screamed Honoka.

"STOP THIS," screamed Satsuki with tears falling out her eyes. She felt helpless. She couldn't do anything to protect her staff. But before the man could rape the scared girl. A loud female voice was heard.

"GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OF HER, YOU SICK BASTARD!"

Misaki appeared. And she gave the goon a devastating kick on his head. The goon fell down on the ground, knocked out. Misaki quickly catches Honoka in her hands. The other goon felt a devastating blow in his stomach. The force of the unexpected impact was so great. Blood and saliva flew out the man's mouth. He fell on the floor out cold. Naruto, who held Erika protectively in his arms, glared at the man.

"Sick bastard."

Erika looked at Naruto gratefully. "Thank you, Naruto Kun."

Naruto looked at Erika with worry. "Are you okay, Erika Chan?"

The auburn-haired girl blushed at Naruto's gentle tone. "Yes, I'm okay."

Naruto smiled in relief. He walked towards Satsuki and handed the girl over. Naruto saw that Erika's breasts were still exposed. He quickly took his work vest off and covered the girl's modesty. Erika smiled in gratitude.

"Thanks, Naruto Kun."

Naruto smiled. "You're welcome, Erika chan."

Misaki did the same with Honoka. The blond girl smiled in gratitude.

"Thanks, Misaki. And sorry for my rude behavior from before."

"No thanks are needed, Honoka. And you are forgiven."

Subaru who woke up sighed in relief when she saw Misaki and Naruto.

"Thanks for saving Honoka and Erika," she said with tears in her eyes. Misaki smiled at the green-haired girl. "No problem," she said with a thumbs up.

Satsuki was so relieved. "Thank goodness, you are all alright. I'm sorry I couldn't save you two."

Erika and Honoka smiled at their manager. "It's not your fault manager. So please, stop feeling guilty."

They all suddenly felt a chill in the air. Even the man who was still standing felt it. They all shivered. Misaki looked at Naruto and was shocked at what he saw. The once kind and gentle blue eyes of the boy she had taken a shine to were transformed into an icy wasteland.

"Misa Chan."

The voice Naruto spoke with was no longer the goofy nor the kind she was used to. No, this voice was full of anger. Hatred.

"Please make sure you and the girls cover your eyes. Because I don't think I will be able to hold back on this lowlife."

The girls had never heard Naruto so angry before. It was actually a bit scary.

The man who was still standing snarled at Naruto. "Boy, you made a big mistake." He took out a gun and pointed it at Naruto. "How dare you call me a lowlife. I'm gonna show you what happens when kids meddle in adult affairs."

"NOOO, NARUTO, WATCH OUT," said Misaki, scared.

The man smirked. "Say goodbye, brat."

But Naruto didn't even flinch. Right before the guy could pull the trigger, a force stopped him dead cold.

"AHHHHHHH," screamed the man.

Misaki and the girls couldn't believe it. One moment Naruto was standing in front of them. The next thing she knew, Naruto vanished and appeared before the armed man. His hand was clenched around the man's wrist.

"DAAAAAMIT, IT HURTS. STOP!"

The gun fell on the floor.

"Stop, you say," said Naruto with an icy voice.

Misaki and the four women felt a shiver go through their spines when they heard Naruto's cold voice.

"How dare you call for mercy. You and your goons are going to suffer for what you tried to do."

Naruto's glare became even fiercer. "HOW DARE YOU DO THOSE THINGS TO WOMEN. I'M GOING TO MAKE ALL THREE SUFFER."

Kurama, who had woken up earlier, agreed with Naruto.

"YES, NARUTO, KILL THOSE SCUMBAGS. MAKE THEIR BONES TURN TO DUST. MAKE THEM SUFFER FOR WHAT THEY TRIED TO DO."

Naruto gave the man a devastating knee strike to his upper body. The man coughed out blood. Next was a punch to the face. An elbow strike to the neck. Each strike became harder and faster. And it was soon becoming a one side massacre. All the girls except for Misaki quickly covered their eyes by the gruesome sight they saw. Misaki couldn't believe what she was seeing. The ferocity that Naruto unleashed on this lowlife was unbelievable. And the speed and accuracy of naruto's strikes were top-notch. In her whole life, she never saw someone fight with such skill. Naruto was fighting on a master level. Maybe even higher. What kind of training did he do to achieve such power and skill? After the massacre was finished, the only thing recognizable of the man was his bloody face.

Naruto glared at the man. "Let me tell you something, scumbag. At this moment, I want to do nothing else but kill you, three lowlifes."

Misaki was shocked. Wait, kill? She hated those bastards also. They deserved everything that Naruto did to them. Of that, she had no doubt. But killing a person would make you no better than them. She couldn't let Naruto do that. He was losing himself in his anger. But Misaki's worry was not needed. Naruto's anger suddenly vanished from his eyes.

The blond shinobi sighed. "But, I am not like you."

All the girls sighed in relief at the blond's words.

Kurama was shocked by Naruto's words. "Kid, why would spare these rapists? They are the worst kind of humans there are."

"I am no killer Kurama. Never was one, never will be. Even though I want to kill these sick bastards, it's still wrong. That would make me no better as them."

Naruto thought back to the wise words of his late Master. His words that he almost forgot but luckily remembered. Jiraiya's words echoed into the blond's mind.

"When people get hurt, they learn to hate...When people hurt others, they become hated and racked with guilt. But knowing that pain allows people to be kind. Naruto, Instead of using your powers to bring pain, I wanted you to use it to change the world into something better."

Naruto had a small smile on his face when he remembered his old mentor's words. "I promise you, Jiraya Sensei," said Naruto with strong determination.

Misaki and the girls looked at Naruto in confusion. Who was Jiraiya Sensei?

Naruto clenched his fists. "I will never lose myself in my anger again. And I will make sure to honor your wishes."

He turned towards the four girls who were smiling at him. There are things that I want to protect. People who mean a lot to me, Naruto thought. And I will do everything in my power to keep them safe. Naruto smiled at the girls. Because that's my Nindo, my ninja way.
