Reaching in front of the door where the 'principal office' was clearly written, we knocked on the door. In response to our call, the old voice asked us to come in. Even though his voice was funny, probably trying to impersonate some pokemon, nobody among us laughed. I guess people grow as time passes. Sorry professor, your joke is flat in our ears. At least, I can sympathize within my heart.

As we opened the door and stepped inside, we saw the dark skin old man making a face of Sudowoodo along with the white hair reaching toward his shoulder. If I am, to be honest, I don't think it really suits him and I am sure, every one of us is thinking the same. Sometimes, it is better not to say a thing, so we didn't bother with it. And honestly, he is funny and we are already more used to his seemingly bad puns.

Well, leaving that aside, he is also the one who established this school and he was also my mentor. Should I really call him a mentor? Well, I did study under him when he was researching the topic of regional forms. As beautiful and genius as I am, I was able to adapt to all his research. I guess I walked my own path after this aetheric energy disaster. Truth be told, studying under him about all these regional forms really helped a lot. Even back then, when we are researching this 'regional' subject, I think we were already on a path of this aether energy.

Looking at the old man, my heart breaks. It is also the reason why I neglect coming to school unless it is important. I really wish the old man would keep his previous enthusiasm and research, but the old man broke down because of the said disaster. Whatever anybody says, he is still my teacher, someone who showed me my dream. Others may not find it faulty but I know how heartbroken the old man is. He stopped researching completely. Even the matter of regional pokemons which he was proud of, he stopped caring for them.

He still plays around children in the same old caring matter, looks after them, and laughs, he no longer looks happy when it comes to researching. Among countless, the old man was also the victim of this aetheric energy. It was a simple reason but extremely painful. The old man lost two of his most beloved Pokemons. Alolan grimer and Vulpix. Grimer was a pokemon that had been with principal oak for a long time. They were practically buddy-buddy, growing up together. I don't know much about it but the old man did tell me that once grimer saved him. And there was vulpix which the old man cared ever since she was an egg. It was gifted to him by professor Samuel Oak, also the old man's cousin, who lives in the Kanto region.

He loved both of them like they were his own children. And the disaster fell on the old man just like that. It just had to happen on the day when he thought of playing with both of them on the beach. It was painful seeing his own pokemons turning into a mindless creature right in front of him. I mean what kind of parents would stay sane after seeing their children turning into a monster right in front of their eyes. I can't think of any... you know what, forget I said it. I am sure my parents would be okay.

Principal oak loved his pokemon like his own children so the effect of that day was severe to him. He is still the same kind teacher, only the melancholy of that day remains in his heart. I tried various methods to bring him back but without a success. At this point, I could just hope that the time will erase his uneasy and free him from the clouded emotions. I guess this event also made him protect the pokemon within the environment. And the reason why most of the pokemons don't belong to children. He fears that the naivety of children may bring them to harm, so as long as they only play with pokemons without bringing them anywhere near this demonic element, he is okay with it.

"Pika afternoon." He said straining his ears a little upward. I guess, my worries were for nothing, he looks as enthusiastic as always. In response, we all bowed a little, returning our own respective afternoon. After asking for a little 'How are you?' and something, we asked him for a key. The key was the main reason why we came to the top floor, to begin with. What is key, you ask? Eh! You don't know what the key is? A key is a key. You know things that help in unlocking.

Ahem, jokes aside, the main work of key here is that it helps unlock teleportation connected to the Aether Paradise. Prior to this demonic disturbance, there was no such need. But after the world was under the threat of aetheric energy, Aether Paradise was completely cut off from the world. There are only two ways to go inside paradise. One something only my mother knows, second, this school we are currently in.

Only administrative people are allowed inside the Aether paradise. There is no way you can fly with pokemon, neither you will be allowed even if you were to helicopters or any flying vehicles. Honestly, I don't care much about security when it comes to AP. Most of the time, I work from home otherwise barely come here to go to the lab. The teleportation is much faster, so no complaint there. Also, there is a difference between the teleportation I am talking about and the teleport pokemons use.

Anyway, after getting the key from the old man, we made our way toward where our classroom used to be. We really can't dillydally talking to principle oak, so we said goodbye as soon as we received our key. Well, even if I want to talk, the old man would just ignore me when I bring the subject about research, to which I could only raise my middle finger and say 'Fuck You!'. Alright fine, that last part is just inside my head.

After taking few turns, we reached toward the down-floor classroom. Looking at the classroom, I took a long breathe in. It just has a once feeling to it. Ever since we left the school, this classroom hasn't been assigned to any classes. Due to its connection to Aether Paradise, only authoritative members can access this classroom. In a way, this one room is even more mysterious and rare than the whole ordeal of seven wonders of the school. Fufu, it is funny to see kids' reactions.

Reminiscing the past, we entered the classroom. Except for the few times, the assault team of Ultra Guardians uses it to launch themself, the classroom is basically unused. Despite that, the principal is doing a good job keeping it so clean. On that note, there are two ways the classroom is being used. The main job of the classroom, to teach the students. Yeah, this classroom doesn't fall into that category. One is just what I told you before, it is one of the two points that connect to Aether Paradise. Second, Ultra Guardians use it to make their way toward the destination much faster. Oh, I mentioned both of these points. Memory jerking it is then.

Leaving that aside, let's just do what we came to do first. Mamane made his way toward one of the desks in the classroom. Why am I calling him 'Mamane'? Because it is easier than Sophocles. It feels like I'm calling him bifocals. What is he? Some sort of glasses. That's why Mamane. ...Hands up. Alright, you can laugh. I'm just joking. I'm definitely not doing that because it is hard to pronounce or anything, OK? Ahem, Mamane made his way toward the certain desk before caressing the left side of that rectangular desk. After figuring out what he had to do, he inserted the key toward the hole near the upper shaded part of the desk.

The moment he inserted the key and rotated it ninety degrees to the right and full 360 anti-clockwise, the mechanism of the key turned into some odd shape while the top of the desk turned into a monitor. Calling it the monitor was wrong, as the desk looked exactly like the desk should look. The only difference was the weird circle appeared in the middle of the rectangular surface.

"Looks like the teleportation sequence has been activated. Brace yourself, everyone." Mamane declared as he turned toward us. At his word, we all turned serious. I'm pretty sure everyone is anxious about that thing Wicke mentioned but my reason to turned super serious was different than others. That is, I can't handle the aftereffect of teleportation. It feels like the world spins around me. Have you ever tried to spin in a circular motion for few seconds and abruptly stop. If you have, then you should know how it feels, right? It creates a vertigo image like you are sensing how your surrounding is spinning and moving. You could barely even stand. Yup, yup, giddiness-like feeling.

I honestly don't like teleportation. But I guess 'when in Rome do as the Romans do'. I can't be picky, when the world is in this situation, huh. After Mamane reminded us to brace ourselves, he touched the ring in the middle of the desk. The moment he did that, the outrageous array formed under our legs, covering the whole floor of the classroom. And the next thing we know-

-The powerful dizziness assaulted me. Holding my head with my right hand, I covered my eyes to free myself from this dizziness, while Lana supported me from the left side. Man, this is why I hate teleportation. I will never forgive that person who released this aetheric energy. I hope that person dies really horrible death. Cursing inside my unstable head, I finally felt my senses returning as the dizziness slowly subdued. Stabilizing myself, I finally got a clear view of our new location.
