"Lana, NOW," Kiawe shouted his lungs out as he threw the spikes along with the broken shield. It was already the last line of our defense, or it would be more accurate to say our last resistance. To balance with Kiawe's action, Lana raised her fishing rod high as she shouted her attack name. Same as her attack name which was 'Water Snake', her fishing rod took the shape of the same as it hissed toward the shield thrown by Kiawe.

A beautiful crystal snake took the piece of the shield with it and forcefully crashed against the monster. If it had been human, the sheer force would have cursed him but the monster simply grabbed the piece as the snake broke apart. Till now, we managed to come this far because of all our effort and coordination and also because of how the monster's main target was Lillie.

Honestly, Ultra Guardians have never been pushed against the wall this much. And truthfully, I am really tired. I have used healing magic for like, how many times, even I can't keep a count and it has taken a serious toll on my body. Even lifting a finger hurts like a hell. If I have one regret, then that would be bringing Lillie to a battlefield. If I am going to die, I at least want to say sorry.

Funny, how I dragged her out of the house against her will, and as a result, she fell into this predicament. And not to mention, she is completely powerless unlike any of us. Her previous plan was amazing, and it succeed too. But what was unnatural was the monster itself. Even for a veteran like us, it was a completely mind-blowing event, I can't even begin to imagine what kind of thought ran through her head. I looked toward her. Though she and Ms. Anabel were whispering something, I am just glad she was okay. If something were to happen to her, I don't think I could take it.

"Mallow, watch out." As I was forcefully pulled out of my thoughts, the first thing I noticed was the monster advancing toward me. It was no longer black ditto but had transferred into a four-arm Machamp. I reflectively joined my hands and raised them to protect my head but the hand I was waiting for never came. Shouting 'wrong prediction', the monster suddenly changed its track toward Mamane who was running toward me.

"Wha-" Mamane was surprised when seeing the monster suddenly reaching its fist toward him but before the fist could land a hit, I used all the remaining power in my body to summon a root under the Mamane's feet pulling him away from the monster. I vomited the portion of blood when the pressure of using SKIN hit me despite my weakening body. And for the monster, the fist that was supposed to hit Mamane hit the ground with so much power that the earth cracked, making large rocks fly throw the sky.

Just as I sighed in relief over the fact that Mamane didn't get hit by such an attack, the monster simply grabbed Mamane by his leg and raised him above it. Mamane made the pain face, even I could hear the crackling of his leg's bone. Not only did his bones crack when the monster grabbed his leg, but they also broke further when he was raised high like some rope being thrown. I tried to stand up to help Mamane but because of my lack of strength, I fell chin to the ground. The monster even dodged the incoming attack from Kiawe and Lana, as it swing Mamane and threw him toward one of the flying rocks.

"Mamane..." I could only shout in dispair when seeing such a sight. If Mamane were to clash against with such force, he is bound to lose his life. He can't even summon his strength, the truth was he had already fainted when the monster played with him like a thread. And even if he wasn't, I doubt he could have controlled his landing with such legs. Just as I gave myself to fate, I saw a white binding light bouncing from one rock to another as it reached for Mamane.

And before Mamane could crash against the rock, the white light grabbed Mamane from the opposite direction and revolve itself to counter the force that Mamane's body generated. After rotating, the figure slowly landed on one of the flying rocks which has already started to fall back down. The figure that emerged from the light was none other than Lillie who was carrying Mamane into 'princess carry.'

"Wow! It feels light." Lillie examine her own body which was shrouded by some mist-like effects. Not her full body but her hands, legs, head, and wrist. Then she looked at Kiawe, "Kiawe, here." and threw Mamane toward the said boy. Kiawe didn't think for a second before going into action, catching Mamane. But for some reason, just that much was enough to push back Kiawe a bit while Lillie simply grabbed the flying Mamane who was coming through such force. Unbelievable. That must be the work of that mist-like thingy. I am honestly half happy and half sad. If she had gained such power, I wished she had used it to run away.

"Lillie," I called out to her. I want to say sorry for dragging her into this mess. She was just a powerless girl just an hour ago, unlike any of us, she didn't have any experience either. So, I want to say sorry and I want her to run away. But as usual, Lillie beautifully smiled at me, her beaming face made me unable to say what I wanted to.

"Don't worry. We are all going back home together." I nodded my head as tears ran down my cheeks. I also want to go home, with all of you. I want to be with all of you too. Sorry, Lillie that I dragged you out of home when you didn't want to. Sorry for making you fight when you didn't want to. Even though I want to tell you to run away, I can't say it. I couldn't say it. I am sorry, Lillie.

Lillie came by my side as she hold my cheeks in her hand and touched her forehead with mine. She gently swept away my tears, "I can't wait to try out Mallow's new recipe. I always wanted to. So, let's go back when this is all over."

"Mmm~ I am gonna prepare the best fist, so don't you die on me, okay." Lillie nodded her head as she carried my lifeless body toward the nearby broken tree. Just as Lillie put me down, resting my back, a high shadow flow above Lillie as it rained down a punch at her. Suddenly, I felt the life leaving my body, but even toward such pressure, Lillie kept her smile.

Lillie elegantly raised her right hand to block the punch. As soon the punch touched her hand, Lillie bent it downward, guiding the monster's attack toward the ground. But since Lillie can't allow the monster to hit the ground, Lillie still half bent, raised her right leg, contact with the monster face which has turned into a Machamp. The moment Lillie's right leg touched the monster, the mist surrounding her leg turned into a hammer, the attack was enough to make the monster fly and crash into the nearby rock.

After a second later, the monster emerged from the piles completely unscratched. But on the contrary, it looked more pissed than ever. "How? How the fuck did you just hurt me?"

Damn scary. But Lillie just shrugged her shoulder. "Kid's knowledge, dude. Are you really that incapable of understanding such physics? It was simply, your punch was enough to smash the ground. So, the amount of force it must be generating should be much higher. As such, it was normal that you can't maneuver such an attack whenever you want. Also, not to mention that the kick I gave you was the result of the same force you gathered. Aren't you glad? Congratulation, you are indeed a powerhouse." Now Lillie is just making fun of it. Please stop Lillie, it is getting mad by the second.

"Don't make fun of me." It shouted as it dashed toward Lillie. Oh, so it did realize. Also, why isn't it moving so fast like before? Is it so mad that it isn't using its full power? Dashing toward Lillie, it threw the punch toward Lillie, but since his attack was see-through, all Lillie had to do was move to the side to dodge that. But Lillie didn't stop at that. After dodging, Lillie grabbed the wrist of its lower arm lightly and put her another arm slightly ahead of the armpit and she smacked the monster into the ground with full rotation.

Woo-hoo...

I can't help but cheer at the power Lillie was displaying. Well, the monster gave us so much trouble, such was within righteous, right? But if we are talking about injuring the monster, it was far from it. But playing around with it was quiet contentment. Go, go, Lillie, hurry, hurry Lillie, yaaaaaayyyyy!
