Another day. Another boring class. I already know everything there is to know in high school. After all, in my previous life, I was a college graduate. But I was surprised when the classes started because the homeroom teacher introduced a new student. I was not expecting Raynare to get into Kuoh. Why you ask? Isn't it obvious? Raynare is a Fallen Angel, and I'm sure that Rias and the other Devils know that ss well. That's why I never thought of giving her the idea of enrolling at Kuoh Academy. That and I thought that she went to that fake school that she told me about. I kind of forgot.
"This here is Amano Yuuma. Starting today, she will be joining us. Hmm…You can take a seat by Hyoudou-san. But I suggest you be careful," the Homeroom teacher said. I was offended that she needed to warn people that sit next to me. But thinking about it, that would be for the best if it was the old me.
"You don't have to warn me about Hyoudou-san. I know all about him," Raynare said.
"Huh? Does that mean his lecherous act has spread outside of Kuoh?" my homeroom teacher said.
"That happened a long time ago. What I meant was that I know about Issei since he is my boyfriend," Raynare said. Now, this caught the attention of everyone. They all looked at me with weird expressions. Then everyone looked at Raynare with a questioning look.
"No way is that true, is it?" Katase asked. My eye twitched when she said that.
"That's right! How can someone as good looking as you be going out with a pervert like Hyoudou-san," Murayama asked.
"Kuh! I can't believe that you would betray us like this, Issei! I thought you said that we would all get girlfriends together!" Matsuda shouted. He was tearing up! What the hell?! Motohama, on the other hand, was trying to act cool about the information he just heard.
"I was asked to come behind the gym by a girl the other day. I thought that I was going to get a girlfriend finally, but instead, I got mugged by a girl," Motohama said. I don't know why he is saying that, but I feel sorry for the guy.
"Okay. That's enough. You can interrogate Hyoudou-san later. Class is about to start," the homeroom teacher said. She then left and allowed the math teacher to enter.
While the math teacher was teaching, Raynare and I were talking. I still can't believe that she was able to get into Kuoh. So, I asked how she was able to enrol.
"Oh. That. Well, I didn't enrol. I hypnotised the teacher to introduce me as a new student," Raynare said. Oh, shit! That's not a bad idea. But the problem is that Rias and Akeno are watching me.
"I would say that was an awesome idea. But right now, it isn't. Rias and her Peerage are watching me!" I shouted in a low tone. I then saw Raynare's eyes widen. I think she realised that her being here right now isn't such a good idea.
"You mean the heiress of the Gremory house is eyeing you? Why?" Raynare asked. Huh? Wait. Does Raynare not know that I have the Boosted Gear.
'I don't think she does, partner,' Ddraig said. He was laughing at me. This stupid dragon is annoying sometimes. Maybe it would be better if I never awakened the Boosted Gear. Wait a minute…I can use that spell on you again.
'Whoa! Calm down, partner. I was having a little laugh,' Ddraig said with nervous laughter. He remembered that dastardly spell that would show him the illusion of being called the Oppai-Dragon. But that's not the worst part of the spell, and it would use his greatest fear and project it outwards. He did not want to see those nightmares again.
'More like you're just afraid,' I mentally told Ddraig. He then shuddered at the memory.
"Rias is watching me for multiple reasons. One, she thought that you might have approached me for a sinister reason. Second, because I hold a Sacred Gear. You see, Rias needs a powerful person that can help her with an issue that she is being plagued with," I said. Raynare then looked at me with interest. Not because I have a Sacred Gear, but because she found it funny that an heiress like Rias is having issues.
"Do you know what her issue is?" Raynare asked.
"Yeah. You see, Rias is being forced to marry a fried chicken that she doesn't like. And to get out of this forced marriage, she would need to beat him on a rating game," I explained to Raynare. She looked at me weirdly. And I know why.
"Where are you getting your info? I don't think information like an heiress' marriage is public… You know what? It doesn't matter. I need to get out of here," Raynare said.
"Can't you use illusion to change the way you look?" I asked her. She then looked at me funny.
"I'm not that good at illusion or transformation magic. I can transform, but my magic signature as a Fallen Angel would remain. Thus, making it only effective against normal humans," Raynare said.
"I can help you with that," I said. I then cast an illusion in the entire class to ensure they don't see me use a spell on Raynare.
The spell that I cast was a success. It isn't a simple spell because the looks of Raynare changes depending on who is looking at her. For example, if my parents and I look at her, she looks like Raynare. But if the people in the class look at her, she looks like Amano Yuuma. And lastly, if Rias and the other Devils are to see her, she would be a generic-looking young woman.
There's a problem with the spell though, it would only last for twelve hours and couldn't be applied again in the next three hours. Luckily, that should be enough time for class and getting home.
After the math class, I felt magic being used on the students. I was expecting Rias and Akeno to hypnotise the class with their magic so that they could watch me, but that wasn't it. Because the person that hypnotised the entire class was Sona Sitri and Tsubaki Shinra, they both took a seat on an occupied chair. I then heard them talking.
"Kaichou? Why exactly are we here?" Tsubaki asked. It seems like Tsubaki and Sona aren't here for their benefit.
"Rias asked me to help her monitor Issei Hyoudou. According to her, he was approached by a Fallen Angel a few days ago," Sona said.
"I see. Gremory-san is hoping that the Fallen Angel would kill Hyoudou-san, and she would be able to bring him into her Peerage," Tsubaki said. Sona nodded at her, and Raynare, who was listening to them, was getting pissed.
"Such methods are barbaric. I would rather offer benefits rather than manipulate, because, one way or another, the person will find out such manipulation and could cause them to be a stray," Sona said. I just nodded at her words. The original Issei from the show may not do that, but others would have.
"Kaichou…Do you think that Hyoudou-san has a Sacred Gear?" Tsubaki asked.
"I believe so. I doubt Rias would have left the Fallen Angel alone if she wasn't using her to get to Hyoudou-san, and that's proof enough that she felt a Sacred Gear on him. I can't think of anything other than that. Plus, for the past few weeks, I've been feeling a dragon signature. I searched everywhere for it, and it led me to Saji, but the energy signature of Saji was weak, the one I felt was strong but controlled, a feeling that I felt on Hyoudou-san," Sona said.
"If that's the case, why didn't you approach Hyoudou-san?" Tsubaki asked.
"I don't think he would be willing to join the very people that stops him from doing his activities around the school. And because Rias is more in need of a Peerage member than I am. So, I let her be the first to approach him. I didn't think that her idea of approaching him was to get him killed," Sona said. Huh? I guess she didn't know.
"Anyway. We need to watch Hyoudou-san for the rest of the day, and I hope we don't catch him doing anything lecherous," Sona said.
"I believe Hyoudou-san have stopped doing those kinds of activities. The only ones that have been reported for the past three weeks are Motohama and Matsuda with Hyoudou san nowhere in sight," Tsubaki said.
And just like Sona said, she and Tsubaki watched me. One thing that I was grateful for was that the spell worked. Sona and Tsubaki didn't even bat an eye on Raynare. They would look at her and move on. That's because, to them, she looks like a generic person in their eyes without any hint of Fallen Angel magic signature.
