Ahhhh! Sweet freedom from the Gremory. I don't know where she went for training since that wasn't specified in the show. Besides, I don't plan to head there. I plan to tease Murayama and Katase. The look on their faces yesterday was precious. And I know just where the two of them are at this time.
I headed to the roof and saw my targets, and would you look at that! I have an extra one named Kiryuu. As I said the other day, the three were reading a BL book. It wasn't a novel this time. Instead, it was a manga. I peeked at it, and it was thankfully not the rumoured BL manga about Kiba and me. I made sure to destroy all those.
"My, my, my. What do we have here? Some perverts are reading some not so school-friendly books," I said teasingly.
"Hyoudou! What are you doing here?!" Kiryuu said. Unlike Katase and Murayama, who gets embarrassed at the sight of them being perverts.
"Just trying to relax. What about you guys? Enjoying some smut, perhaps?" I said.
"You have no proof!" Katase said while throwing the manga in her hand as far as she could.
"Aha? You do know that I don't care, right? I'm not like some guys who believe that girls are innocent people, free from perverted thoughts. I'm not stupid, you're human, and humans have urges," I said.
"What are you really doing here?" Murayama asked.
"I was looking for you and Katase. I wanted to see you too blush again, just like when you did in the mall the other day. You both looked cute," I said. And with that, Katase and Murayama once again ran away.
"Ha! Your teasing is going to backfire on you sooner or later," Kiryuu said.
"I know. But for now, I'll have my fun," I said.
"You've been acting weird for the past month. I don't know what your game is, but I'll figure it out. Especially why that Gremory is so interested in you," Kiryuu said. This surprised me.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Don't play dumb. I've seen Gremory and Himejima in our class multiple times. The funny thing is, no one seems to register them, besides you, Asia, Yuuma and I," Kiryuu said.
'So, she can see them. That's interesting. Could it be she has a Sacred Gear?' I thought.
'No, partner. That's not it. She seems to have resistance to mind-altering magic. That means she has potential to be a great magician if she can resist magic from a High-Class Devil,' Ddraig said.
'I would gladly teach her magic if my magic were normal, but I don't think she would be able to learn Mystic Arts,' I said. And that's not me not wanting to teach it. I've tried with both Asia and Raynare, they both couldn't access the Extra-Dimensional Energy that I could.
'A pity, she would have been a great addition to your Harem,' Ddraig said.
'What does Kiryuu learning magic have to do with her being in my Harem?' I asked.
'Simple, you have a type. Raynare and Asia may not be a part of your type, but they are an exception. Your type is a strong independent woman, such as Sona, Serafall and Grayfia. Don't think I can't hear your thoughts from time to time,' Ddraig said.
'Huh? I didn't think I had a type. Good to know,' I said.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Kiryuu. Are you sure you aren't sick and hallucinating things?" I said.
"Right. Sick and hallucinating for the last month, that's such a believable thing. I'm on to you, Hyoudou. I'm on to you. I'll be keeping my eye on you," Kiryuu said.
"Aha? If you wanted to ask me out on a date, you could have just asked instead of pretending to be keeping an eye on me," I said. I needed to deflect the subject.
"What?! Do you think I'm interested in you? Look at yourself! You're tall, handsome, and look at those biceps…What were we talking about again?" Kiryuu said.
'Thank god she's no longer talking about Rias and Akeno in the class. Because I don't have any explanation for that,' I said to Ddraig.
'You can only deflect for so long, Issei. I don't think she'll stop searching for answers, and her resistance to magic may bring her harm,' Ddraig said.
'How about I give her an item that would protect her from the Supernatural?' I asked.
'That would work for a limited time only. Or what if she took the item off? You see the issue here?' Ddraig said.
'Let's think about this later. She's safe for now,' I said.
For the rest of the day, Kiryuu would watch everything I did. And since the Gremory isn't here, it was easier to pretend that there is nothing weird going on. Let's hope that she doesn't stalk me home because I don't like that. When it was time to head home, and I was already at the school's front gate, Kiryuu came up to me.
"I'm on to you, Hyoudou and your group," Kiryuu said while looking at me, Raynare and Asia.
"Geez, Kiryuu. If you want to ask Ise out, just do it already," Raynare said. I already knew that Kiryuu would approach me at the end of the day, so I asked Raynare to say what she said.
"What?! Are you crazy?! I'm not going to ask out someone else's boyfriend!" Kiryuu said.
"Aha! But you didn't deny that you want to ask him out!" Raynare said.
"W-What?! I-I-I…" Kiryuu couldn't say anything. Thank you! Raynare! For showing me a blushing Kiryuu. I wouldn't be able to do something like this on my own. I then took out my phone and took a picture of her face.
"D-Did you just take a picture? Delete that! Give me that phone so that I can delete it!" Kiryuu said. But looking around she didn't see any phone, that's because I already hid it.
"Huh? Where's the phone? I saw the flash and hear the click," Kiryuu said.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't take any pictures," I said. I was even showing her my empty hands.
"Watch what you do, Hyoudou, watch what you do because sooner or later I will find out what your secrets are," Kiryuu said while poking me in the chest, then she walked away.
"That girl is really determined. Why not just tell her? I can tell she's interested in you," Raynare said.
"Wait! When you say interested, do you mean…" I didn't finish what I was saying before Raynare answered me.
"Oh! She has the major hots for you. And this interest isn't recent because I've seen her looking at you before your transformation," Raynare said.
"Huh? I didn't know that," I said. Raynare sighed.
"That's not surprising since you are quite oblivious to such things. You wouldn't even know that Asia was into you if she didn't enter the bathroom while you were taking a bath," Raynare said. With that, our day has ended.
