Two days left before the Rating Game with Riser, and I received a visit from a certain silver-haired woman. Due to what I did, she was fired from her duties in the Gremory Household as she was 'neglecting' work. Whoops! That's not good, partially my fault. Then I thought that she may still have her job as an assistant to Satan Lucifer, that's not the case because she was responsible for managing meetings and setting reminders; Satan Lucifer missed out on three important meetings. Hence, she was fired as well. Now she is in my house to try and get a job. I mean, a maid isn't a bad idea since I was planning to expand the house.
"What do you think, mom? I plan to expand the house, and having a maid help with cleaning would be a lifesaver," I said.
"Ise, we don't have the money to expand the house, let alone pay for a live-in maid," Mom said.
"You don't have to worry about money. I have enough money to last us a lifetime. That's why if you and dad want to quit your job and follow your dream of opening a restaurant, then I'll help you with it," I said. I know how much my parents are working hard to earn enough money to open a restaurant. It has been their dream since they got married.
"You would do that for us?" Mom said.
"Of course! You're my parents. If I can help you, then I will," I said.
"Thank you, Ise," Mom said before hugging me.
"Okay, Grayfia. I'll hire you as a maid. Partially because you getting fired was my fault, but also because I have heard how dedicated you are to your work. I know that you'll do a great job of taking care of the place when no one is around. But can I ask? Why are you looking for a job in the Human world?" I said.
"News travel fast in the Underworld. The moment they knew I was fired, that was the end of my career. That's why I'm looking for a job here in the Human world. And you're the only one I thought of," Grayfia said.
"Ise, how are you going to expand the house? That could take months," Dad asked.
"That's easy…." I said before using my Mystic Arts to expand the space inside of the house. I then created more rooms for guests and Grayfia. Creating mundane materials is easy for me. I just conjured the required materials to expand the house. The best part is the fact that the outside did not change. Meaning no one would know that the house was expanded.
"That's convenient…Is there a way for you too…you know, teach us?" Dad asked.
"I've tried teaching Raynare and Asia, but it isn't working. I can try teaching you as well, but I'm not sure if I would have more success with you than with them. However, it's worth a shot," I said. Then I brought Grayfia to the new room that I created for her.
"You're able to control space. That's not something anyone can just achieve. Teleportation is spatial magic, but what you did was unfold space inside the house. That level of spatial magic is rare," Grayfia said.
"Wait? Really?" I asked.
On the way to Grayfia's room, we made light conversation. At least it wasn't awkward. I learned one thing about Grayfia is that she isn't part of Sirzechs' Peerage. She never joined. After that, I headed out of the house and into the Mirror Dimension. I needed to train, I may be strong, but I still train. More so now since I have a Rating Game to win.
"Hey, Ddraig. Do you remember about testing Draconic Energy with Mystic Arts? Now that we have time, let's test it out," I said.
"Oh! This should be interesting. I don't know how your magic system works, but this should be interesting," Ddraig said.
I tested the combination of Draconic and Mystic Arts, but it failed. Over and over again, just like the time with Mana. I don't think it was going to work. However, I had an idea. Mystic Arts work by harnessing the Extra-Dimensional Energy of the universe. What if I harness the Draconic Energy the same way as the Extra-Dimensional Energy? So, I tested it out.
Ha-ha-ha-ha! It works! With my knowledge of the Mystic Arts, I'll be able to create a new spell using Draconic Magic...Wait! If this works? Does that mean I can do the same with Mana? And it does! The only problem is that there is no one to help teach me. That's when it hit me. If I'm using Mana for my Mystic Arts, will I be able to copy other people's magic? I remember the Ancient One saying that Mystic Arts is the source code that shapes reality. I'm pretty sure that codes can be copied. So, why not try and copy…let's say Rias' power of destruction.
I tried to remember the magic circle that Rias used in the show. Every curve, every straight line, and every space of each rune. I remembered them, and then I used my Mystic Arts to harness my Mana and replicate the magic circle. And what do you know…It fricking worked! Sort of. Mystic Arts really is the source code that shapes reality! Although I couldn't complete the spell, at least the magic circle formed, showing me that it is possible to copy their abilities.
"Incredible! You were able to form the Gremory's unique magic circle," Ddraig said.
"One problem. If they see me use it, they might hunt me down," I said.
"Unless…" Ddraig said, and I already knew what he was suggesting.
"No! I'm not doing that. Besides, I plan to copy other Devil clan's unique abilities, such as the Abaddon's Hole ability or the Leviathan's Sea Serpent of the End ability. You can't expect me to court a person on each clan?" I said.
"Why not? Don't you plan to be the Harem King? Then what's the problem with courting women from those clans to be your brides? It's a win-win situation," Ddraig said.
"And you forgot. I don't plan to accept just anyone in my Harem. That's not me," I said.
"Well then, good luck being hunted down by every Devil Clan," Ddraig said.
I continued practising my Mystic Arts with Mana and Draconic Energy. I could almost use the Power of Destruction, but the Mana output wasn't enough, or the conversion of the Mana wasn't fast enough. I just need more time to train, and I'll be able to master it.
