"What?! You got to be kidding me, right? Please tell me there is a way to severe the contract?" I said. Sona didn't have anything to say to that. Neither did Serafall.
"Sigh! Fine. I'll find a way to sever the contract. Do you mind handing over the Spell Formula that was used to make the contract? I'll need it to find a way to remove the binding," I said.
Sona handed over the formula that was used to make the contract. Reading over the content, I already knew that it was going to be headache-inducing. The way the contract works is the same as the Evil Pieces. Since Rias was considered my servant, she would need to stay in close contact with me to keep the contract in check or cause issues.
It turns out the contract that was used on Rias and I was the foundation of the Evil Pieces. That's the reason why only High-Class Devils can have the Evil Pieces because if they aren't strong enough, the Evil Piece won't work, or in the worst-case scenario, it could backfire on them and make them the servant. But thanks to Ajuka's intelligence, he was able to mitigate such issues, but as a precaution, only High-Class Devil's are allowed to own Evil Pieces.
"It would take at least a month to figure out a way to remove the binding. But that's not the problem. It says here that the servant needs to be in proximity of the master after fifteen days of the binding, that means that after four more days, she would need to be by my side every few days," I said. I was not too fond of the situation, but it would have to be done. Plus, I need her to analyse the other end of the spell.
"Am I that revolting to you that you are disappointed in having to stay close to me? I know that I did something stupid, and you have the right to get angry, especially after I hypnotised your parents, but in my defence, it was the only way for me to speak to you without them being suspicious," Rias said.
"Sigh! I don't find you revolting. I didn't like how you tried to do stupid things, like when you hypnotised my parents…Sigh! Look. I'll forget everything you did in the past and give you a second chance to show me the real you. But know that if you did anything to harm the people I care about, I don't care if you are Satan Lucifer's sister, I will end you," I said threateningly. In Rias head, she remembered the time I threw her through a portal and into a wall. She nodded her head. People would think that threatening Rias is stupid, but people forget that Rias doesn't like bothering her brother with her problems.
"Since you would be staying with me every few days, I'll ask Grayfia to make a room ready for you," I said. Serafall, Sona and Rias were familiar with the name Grayfia. They were confused why I said her name as if she was my maid.
"Uhm…Ise? When you say Grayfia, do you mean a beautiful young woman appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down, which ends in twin braids and silver eyes?" Sona said.
"Yeah, why?" I asked.
"She went missing a while back, right after you punched her in the face," Rias said.
"I know that. I let her go after a few days. Then she came back to my house. She told me that she was fired from being the head maid of the house of Gremory," I said. Sona and the others looked weird.
"She didn't get fired. She quit. She told my parents about finding a new person to serve in life. No one knew who she was talking about. I guess that was you," Rias said.
"What? Why would she lie about being fired?" I asked.
"Probably because you wouldn't have accepted her as a maid if she told you the truth," Sona said. Sona wasn't wrong, and I would probably kick her out of the house.
"That's fair. But why did she want to work for me?" I said.
"I don't know. She didn't specify anything when she left," Rias said.
Whatever. I can ask her later. After talking, I went back home to go to sleep. When I entered the house, I found myself being tackled by Raynare and Asia. I could have dodged them, but I decided not to. Raynare and Asia welcomed me back and told me that I did a great job during the Rating Game. Huh? It turns out, Grayfia gave them access to the Rating Games Broadcasting.
After hearing what Rias and the others told me, I started being suspicious of Grayfia and her presence in the house. I know that she hasn't done anything out of the norm, but I'm going to keep an eye on her from here on out. Then I remembered that I should ask her instead. Oh! Right! I must tell Grayfia to fix up one of the empty rooms for Rias whenever she comes over to stay.
"Right! Grayfia, do you mind getting a room ready within four days. Rias would be staying here from time to time," I said.
"Understood, I'll get on it now," Grayfia said. She then left to prepare the room.
"The Gremory heiress is staying here? I thought you didn't like her?" Raynare said.
"I decided to give her a second chance. I know that everything she did was out of desperation, but if she does something stupid, I won't hesitate to eliminate her," I said.
"This Rias, was she the red-haired girl that you told us hypnotised us to believe that she was a close friend?" Mom asked.
"She's the one. I'm going to give her one chance to redeem herself, but I'm not willing to give another if she continues to act the same," I said.
We continued talking until my parent's decided to head to bed. Raynare and I were heading to our rooms, but Asia wanted to do the same. Raynare chuckled. From that, I already knew that she was responsible for how Asia was acting, but I didn't have any objections. Except when Asia started to get undress. I know most guys would enjoy watching a girl undress, and I do too, but I saw that Asia wasn't comfortable with it, so I told her not to force herself. Raynare pouted at my reaction. Then we all went to bed without any issue.
The following day, everything was back to normal. Or as normal as it can be when you have a Devil and a Fallen Angel in the house. When I woke up, I was being covered by Raynare's wings. I love waking up with them over me. Asia was hugging me as well. She feels different from Raynare, and she smells like flowers.
After that, I woke both girls up and told them it was time to get ready for the day. Since it was the weekend, it was time for some training. Today, we are working on the range of Asia's Sacred Gear. And for Raynare, we are working on decreasing the time it takes for her to charge her Light Beam. As for me, I plan to research the magic formula to sever the bond between Rias and I.
