The following day after class. Rias and her Peerage, except Kiba, was already in the ORC with the church duo, but they hadn't started the meeting. Rias was waiting for my arrival. Irina didn't have any problem waiting, but Xenovia wasn't. She was getting impatient.
"Why haven't we started yet?! I don't know who it is you're waiting for, but we need to start this meeting now," Xenovia said. Rias didn't bat an eye at Xenovia's rude behaviour. She stayed calm.
"It won't be long now. His presence is nearby," Rias said. It was then that I entered the room along with Ophis.
"Sorry, I'm late. A certain individual was bugging me," I said while pointing at Ophis, who was eating chocolate while asking for more food.
"More..." Ophis said while having her hand out.
"Ise! What are you doing here?!" Irina asked. She met with me just the other day and didn't feel a hint of magic on me, but now she was feeling powerful energy from me and Ophis, who she didn't know.
"I was asked to be the mediator in this meeting. I'm to make sure that none of you are hostile with one another," I replied. I then sat on an empty seat between the sofa of both parties. Ophis then decided to sit on my lap.
"Issei? Who is that? And what is she doing here?" Rias asked.
"Wait… You've lived in my house for a week now. How have you not met Ophis?" I said. Akeno, who was drinking her tea, spat it out. Being the Queen of Rias means she is quite knowledgeable of the highest-ranking beings.
"You don't mean the Ouroboros Dragon, do you?" Akeno asked nervously.
"That's Ophis. She's been living with me for a while now. I'm surprised Rias hasn't met her yet. I mean, she is always beside me when we're in the house," I said. Xenovia and Irina were sweating along with everyone else in the room. None of them expected to meet one of the most powerful beings on the planet.
"Anyway, we should start the meeting now," I said. No one had any objections to that, especially Xenovia and Irina. They didn't want to do something that would upset Ophis. They just wanted to leave as soon as possible.
"I am Xenovia Quarta, and this is my associate, Irina Shidou," Xenovia introduced.
"For what reason would servants of God desire to meet a Devil?" Rias asked.
"Although one is yet to be found, the remaining Excaliburs have been kept by the three divisions of the Church. Three of those have been stolen by the Fallen Angels," Irina said.
"Stolen?" Akeno asked.
"The ones that we have are this, the Holy Sword of Destruction, Excalibur Destruction. And the one with Irina is the Holy Sword of Mimicry, Excalibur Mimic," Xenovia said.
"So, what do you want from us?" Rias asked. From time to time, Xenovia or anyone in the room would look at me as I feed Ophis cookies, chocolate, cakes, macaroons, etc. They are uneasy in her presence.
"This particular problem is between the Church and the Fallen Angels. We can't afford to deal with the Devils of this city," Xenovia said.
"Ha-ha-ha! Wait a moment! Ha-ha-ha! You come to Kuoh, the territory of the Devils, and you say that you can't afford to deal with them. News flash! The moment you set foot on Kuoh, you are already dealing with the Devils. That's the reason why you're here, isn't it? So, I suggest you stop with your condescending attitude. Everything that happens in Kuoh is in the Devil's jurisdiction when it comes to the Supernatural, whether you like it or not," I said. This made Xenovia angry. But she had to hold back as she didn't want Ophis getting angry.
"He's right. You're awfully condescending," Rias said.
"Devils despise the Holy Sword. We want a guarantee that you won't aid the Fallen Angel. After all, you are in the same position as the Fallen Angel regarding the Holy Swords," Xenovia said. Rias was getting angry. She didn't like the fact that Xenovia implied that she would work with the Fallen Angel.
"If we must, we will completely destroy you, even if you are the sister of a Satan," Xenovia threatened. I just raised an eyebrow to that and chuckled. Xenovia had the guts to threaten Rias when she didn't have the power to back it up. At this point in time, she can't even control Durandal.
"Wow! Such big threats coming from you. In fairness, I have threatened Rias multiple times, except the difference is that I'm not associated with anyone, which would mean my actions are my own and no one else's. But tell me, Xenovia, do you have the guts to go through with such a threat? After all, you are a part of an organisation. You, attacking Rias would be seen as a hostile action by the Church. Can you bare the responsibility of starting a war?" I said. This shut Xenovia up. It was true that her action would be seen as being the orders of the Church.
After that fiasco, the meeting went smoothly. As Xenovia and Irina stood up to leave as the meeting had ended, Kiba entered the room. He was staring at Xenovia and Irina with hate in his eyes as he stared at the sword in Xenovia's hand and the ribbon on Irina's shoulder. They didn't know who Kiba was and why he was staring at them.
"Who are you?" Irina asked.
"I am your senior. I was the only survivor of the project that gave you the ability to wield those swords with you. I want to issue a chal-" Kiba didn't finish what he was saying as I threw a relic at him. It restrained his entire body along with his mouth. This relic is known as the Crimson Band of Cyttorak.
"That's better. The meeting has ended on a friendly-ish term, and I won't allow a dunderhead like you to mess that up. For now, I'll leave the restraint on you for as long as I want. And trust me, even if Rias plead me to take them off you, I won't," I said. Kiba stared at me with hate.
The dumbass came at the end of the meeting, and he wants to start a fight now? Nope! He can stay restrained in the Crimson Band of Cyttorak for a few days. Maybe that'll help him cool off... He-he-he! I have an idea. I remembered that there was a male strip club in the red-light district of Kuoh. I remember passing by one when Matsuda, Motohama and I used to go there to buy some porno. I opened a portal to the strip club, and I dropped Kiba in one of the cages, but not before using my magic to change his outfit to something more suitable for the event.
Even after seeing what I did, Rias did not say anything. She was just confused at the place that I opened a portal to. As for Akeno, she enjoyed the view on the portal. Koneko, on the other hand, became red after what she saw.
