Prologue

"Here's the sad truth." A voice said solemnly, sounding like it couldn't be much older than twenty. "All men are not created equal, and legends are not just a myth."

Mustafu City - Japan: 15:45, 2325 A.D.

Overlooking the large city, it was blatantly easy to see the massive fight taking place between two mighty beasts. You would have to be literally blind to miss the humongous beings that staggered around as they fought, smashing through the towers in their way like building blocks.

One of the fighters looked like a massive tyrannosaurus with razor sharp spinal fins running down its back from neck to tail, with longer arms compared to a tyrannosaurus. The other could only be said to resemble a gigantic lobster. The reptilian creature was holding the Lobster by its claws, swinging it about almost drunkenly as it tried to assert its dominance over the fight. With a screeching roar, it lunged forwards, smashing its opponent through a skyscraper with relative ease.

Quickly shaking off the shock from that move, the Kaiju Lobster retaliated, its pincers lashing out near the Lizard Kaiju's face and causing it to flinch in response to the threatened attack. Taking advantage of the opportunity shown, the Lobster shoved back and sent the Lizard careening through several towers, which promptly collapsed on top of it. The Lobster then scuttled forward and leapt at it, and the two engaged in a deadlock of shoving limbs as they pushed for superiority.

Meanwhile, five other figures were watching over the situation, seemingly on standby. One figure appeared to be humanoid with armor plating that seemed to be its own skin, with ashy blonde hair and golden-red eyes, standing at fifty feet tall as he observed proceedings.

The second was a female with white, purple and orange battle armor and horns connected to her mask, wielding a weird whip-like blade that emerged from the armour on the back of her knuckles. She chuckled at the fight as she watched, her almost sixty foot tall form swaying to the side as she did.

The other three looked to be some form of Mech suits. The navy blue and silver Mech had a gigantic spinning hole in its chest. Beside it, the next one looked more like a samurai with red and gold plating on its armour. The last had four individual arms, each holding a specific weapon. Each of the three ranged from fifty to sixty feet in height.

"How do you think the Lizard Kaiju is holding up, Reiner?" The Navy Blue Mech states curiously, but a hint of worry could be heard in the deep voice of a man in his early thirties. The Armored Human, now dubbed Reiner, turned to the Mech and spoke thoughtfully.

"He's faring very well for a recently turned Kaiju-Morpher, still no clue what type he is though." Reiner states as he looks back towards the Lizard Kaiju. "It just depends on how long he can wait this out till he finds out his special ability. It looks like Ebira is winning by a lot though."

As he said this, the Kaiju Lobster -now known as Ebira- pushes back against the Lizard Kaiju. "Hahaha, you naive little fool! You are just a Young Kaiju who doesn't stand a chance against me!!!" Ebira roared in a harsh tone, the language spoken in his screech being one that only the Lizard Kaiju and Reiner could understand.

"When I was 4 years old, I learned that some people have more power than others. But recently, I learned that there are more types of power in the world than what we see today," The Adult voice stated. "In fact, there's an entire hidden world of power, vastly more dangerous than anything we already know of."

As the buildings in the background started to fall around them, citizens could only look on in awe at the sight that befell them, as people in costumes started to evacuate others, injured or not, to a safer place.

Bit late for that, but better late than never.

Reiner looked towards the Lizard Kaiju and finally started to walk over, but he was stopped by the voice that he heard from the Lizard Kaiju. "Stop! Don't get any closer. I don't know if you can hear me, but this thing is after me." The voice that spoke sounded high pitched, like that of a teenager.

Reiner looked at the Lizard Kaiju in surprise. "Do you know how to defeat him then? You don't sound very experienced in fighting, you're just a kid."

The Lizard Kaiju glanced in Reiners direction. "I may be a kid, but that won't stop me from protecting other citizens! Isn't that what a Hero is supposed to do?"

Reiner could only stare at the Lizard Kaiju in awe at his words. His words were those of a kid with his convictions in check. And as the Armoured one watched, the fins on the Lizard's back started to glow green with a neon hue.

"Kid, if you don't let me help, then at least tell me your name."

"Today," the voice continued. "Today was that day, the day I learned that I was a part of that world. A world where power doesn't matter. A world where your family is a part of something much greater than that. A world where your family lineage would be the key to world domination, or world salvation."

The Lizard Kaiju looked at Reiner, still holding Ebira off with an air of newfound determination about him.

"Midoriya. Izuku Midoriya."
