Chapter 11 – The Tiger Vs the Ox

Bulma finally arrived at the Ox King's castle and on chichi's instruction she brought her equipment and got to work, it took a good couple of hours to work on the project she was instructed to do, however she managed to finish it and present it to chichi

'So this is gonna kill me?' Chichi asked

'No. Well, yes. It... not exactly. It's...I have made a formula that gives the appearance of death without the actual dying bit. It's fine. There's nothing to worry about. It'll only bring you to the brink of death.' Bulma explained

'Oh, only to the brink.' Chichi said sarcastically

'Hey, you called me here to help! And that is what I have done so here you go, The formula will lower your heart rate and breathing. For all intents and purposes, you will be dead. At least for 5 minutes'

'And then once the 5 minutes are up?'

'You'll be awake and energized, like you had a very long needed slumber'

'Okay then, then I guess once I drink it, Tai you take us to the underworld, get her demons out of the way, I will wake up, then we will fight her' Chichi smirked

'How are we gonna tell Roshi and Shifu to open the dead zone?' Tai asked

'Oh that's easy I'll send a message to Goku' she answered

'How?'

'Through my mind' she answered

'You can do telepathy?!' Tai asked

'Only with Goku, I think it's a sayien thing' she answered

'Well as long as you can get a message to him then it works for me' tai said as Chichi held the formula in her hand

'You sure this will work Bulma?' She asked

'Defiantly, I tested it out on My dad and he was out for a good 30 minutes, although my mom thought he actually was dead and ended up calling an ambulance to the house, it was kinda awkward. I had no idea she could still ground me' Bulma said awkwardly then got back to her point 'Anyway, so all I did this time was reduce the recipe enough for you to appear dead for 5 minutes.' Bulma said

'Okay then, then I guess we're all set' Chichi sighed and turned to the others

'Be ready for them when they arrive, but you better move the fight out of the kingdom, I've asked the castle guards to move the civilians into the castle so they will be safe. Make sure the demons get nowhere near' Chichi instructed

'Don't worry chi, we'll make sure they won't get far.' Shang nodded

'We'll be ready for them' Wang smirked

'Good. Cause I hope its only gonna take 10 minutes to send her into the dead zone' Chichi said

'You'll do it chichi, we believe in you' Ling su said

'If anyone can do it its you' Su Yao added

'And we're right behind you. Good luck' Bo smiled

'We'll protect your kingdom from those demons' Shen assured her

'With everything we got, these demons will get nowhere near attacking the earth' Ren added

'As long you guys be careful, I couldn't bear it if any of you got hurt' Chichi nervously replied

'You worry too much Chi, just bring on these demons is what I say' Tyrian smirked

'Then I guess I got nothing to worry about' Chichi smiled as Yang walked up to her

'I knew you would be the one to save the world. You need to be the fighter I believe you to be' Yang smiled as Chichi hugged her tight

'Thank you for believing in me Yang, stay safe' Chichi hugged her and moved to her family and friends

'I trust you know what your doing chichi' Piccolo frowned

'I do piccolo, you just focus on the fight here' chi instructed as he nodded

'You kick her ass chichi!' Yamcha smirked

'Yeah show her she messed with the wrong chick!' Krillen grinned

'And be sure not to die in the process' Tien added

'Great thanks guys, you be careful out here' She smiled and turned to Shifu and Roshi 'You know the plan right?' she asked

'You send the signal to Goku and he'll tell us when to open the dead zone, Remember we can only keep it open for 10 minutes, or the planet will be ripped apart' Roshi instructed

'I know, I will get her in there no matter the cost'

'Are you sure you will be alright, You must remember Shing ling has grown in her strength since you saw her last' Shifu warned

'I know, but I have grown too, so let her give me all she's got'

'I am proud to be your master' Shifu softly smile and bowed before her as she did the same

'Woman, let me travel with you to the underworld! I can take this Shing ling alone!' Vegeta huffed

'No Vegeta, despite the fact she is my fight, I need you to stay here, because if things don't go our way as well as we hope, I'll need you to do something for me' She said as he scrunched his face in confusion

'What are you talking about?'

'Whatever happens to me, I need you to stop Goku from doing anything drastic to stop me, and I know you'll be only the person strong enough to withhold him, So please tell me you'll do just that if it comes down to it' She asked as he sighed hard

'Very well woman, I think your incredibly stupid for taking this on alone, however, you're also very brave, for a human' he said as she softly smiled

'Thank you Vegeta' she nodded and walked over to the boys

'This is gonna be a big fight isn't it?' Trunks asked as Chichi crouched to his and her son's Height

'If anyone can take out these demons it'll be you two, And I know Gotenks would love the challenge' she grinned

'I know! Just be careful miss Chichi' Trunks smiled as chichi nodded and turned to Goten who looked afraid

'Hey sweetie you okay?' she asked

'Don't go mom! Please stay here it'll be safe' he said as she lifted him up into her arms

'Sweetie, Shing Ling needs to be stopped and I need to stop her, you wouldn't let a villain stop you from a fight would you?' she asked as he shook no

'No but I'm scared'

'Hey, you are never scared. You're my brave little boy and I know your gonna be brave now and protect your grandpa's kingdom. I am so proud of you, okay?' she asked as he nodded and hugged her tightly as chichi accepted his hug and set him down and walked to Gohan

'Mom, you think you're ready for this?' he asked

'I have to be, otherwise she wins, and I am not gonna let her destroy my world. You be careful here okay? And keep an eye out for Goten too' she instructed

'I'm with him too, Mom I'm scared for you, what if you….'

'Gohan. Please don't worry about me, I'll be fine, Tai will be with me, you focus on what is coming, it'll be over before you know it. I need you to put aside the scholar and be a warrior' she said as Gohan hugged her tight as she embraced him back, she gave him a kiss on the cheek and finally turned to Goku

'This doesn't feel right' He said

'I know, everything turned upside down when yang turned up at our door. But this needs to be over now. Shing has caused our family enough grief, and I need to face her, for my father' she said as Goku nodded agreeing

'I know you do. But please promise me something chi….'

'Anything'

'Promise me you'll come back, when all of this over, promise me you are coming back to us. Because you may have been able to cope with me being dead, bit don't think for a moment I can do the same' He said as chichi placed her hands on the sides of his face and pressed her lips onto him as he wrapped his arms around her waist, he didn't know why, but he had a horrible feeling this was gonna be their last kiss, Chichi pulled away and softly smiled stroking his face

'I promise' She smiled as he nodded, she pulled away, Goku let go of her hands as she walked over to Tai, she turned to look at him one more time and softly smiled, she then looked down at the formula in her hand and sighed

'You sure about this?' He said

'It's the only want to save the earth, so let's do this' Chichi said as she opened the lid and took a deep breath and drank every last the drop of Bulma's Formula, nothing happened in the first 5 seconds, but suddenly She felt light headed and she felt her body getting heavy. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she felt her legs give way and fell into an unconscious stage, Tai caught her before she hit the floor as Bulma walked over to her

'Did it work?' Tai asked as Bulma checked her vitals and nodded

'Yep! Even a qualified doctor would be fooled, she appears dead, but she isn't, you better hurry, you only have 5 minutes until she wakes up' Bulma said

'Mom you better get to the castle this fight might get ugly' trunks said and flew his mother to safety

'Then we better go' Tai said securing chichi in his arms

'God luck Tai' Shang nodded

'Yeah be careful' Yang smiled as he nodded

'You guys stay safe too, be ready for her army and I know you'll be okay' Tai said as they nodded

'Just…. Look after her Tai' Goku warned as he looked at chichi

'Don't worry, we'll be back before you know it' Tai assured the Sayien. Tai shut his eyes and he began to glow red, his aura began making swirls around him then all of a sudden…

*WHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!*

Tai and Chichi disappeared from the team and were transported to the underworld, all surrounded by flames and screams as Tai carried chichi over a canyon bridge and looked down in the pits and saw the demons acting impatient and fighting each other, they all looked ready to fight and were keen to get to earth. Shing Ling watched over her army with her back turned from tai looking down at her demons

'Shing Ling' Tai greeted putting on his dark voice

'I trust you have a result Tai' she said in a low tone

'Perhaps you'd care to look' He smirked as she turned to look at he and gasped, she saw Chichi in his arms as he dropped her and kicked her towards Her as Shing ling kicked chichi on her back and inspected her, no pulse, no heartbeat, Yes! She was dead!

'yes…Yes….YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! FINALLY, SHE IS DEAD! AT LAST!' She screamed in victory as Tai nodded smirking as she turned to him

'I trust you are pleased' Tai asked

'I'm impressed Tai, and I thought you would come around to her lies and deceit. Good work soldier, you have had your revenge, how do you feel?' She asked

'Victorious, and more so now that you can release the armies' he grinned

'Agreed, it is time to wreak havoc on this god forsaken world' she smirked and began to spin make the floor beneath them crumble and the ceiling of the underworld open up to from massive tunnels as the demons looked up

'NOW MY DEONS I RELEASE YOU TO BRING THE EARTH DESTRUCTION AND DEATH, DESTROY EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN YOUR PATH SO THAT TOGETHER WE WILL CREATE OUR NEW WORLD IN OUR IMAGE! GO NOW MY DEMONS! TAKE YOUR CHAOS TO THE EARTH!' She screamed as they screeched in response and began to climb inside the ceiling tunnels and disappear from their sights, Shing Ling looked on as Tai looked at the unconscious chichi, it won't be long now till she wakes up.

The earth began to rumble beneath the warriors as they all wobbled in their positions

'Hey…. What is that?' Krillen asked

'Hey look over there!' Goten pointed as the saw the earth come away and the demons emerge from the ground, hundreds of demons emerged along with monstrous grimms, like scorpions and beasts, it seemed Shing Ling was going all out for this battle, the monsters and demons emerged onto the surface of the earth and looked towards them as they charged towards them, it was now or never!

'Remember the plan! Fight them off! Long enough for Shing Ling to be destroyed!' Goku ordered and went super sayien as did Vegeta and the boys!

'Let's send these creatures back to hell!' Shang yelled as they all charged towards the demons, the battle was about to begin on earth, they just hoped Chichi could send Shing ling to the dead zone as fast as possible, as soon as she wakes up.

'For 20 years I have dreamed of the day she would be lying dead before me, finally nothing and nobody will stand In my way for victory, I am now the strongest Zodiac warrior the world has ever seen! I AM VICTORIOUS!' She yelled her voice echoing the empty lair of the underworld as Tai looked over at chichi, no sign of waking up yet

'Her family will be devastated' Tai added as she turned and scoffed

'Oh please, that family of monkeys, they would be glad to be rid of her, especially that husband of hers, He must have been a fool to imagine she could live up to his standards, but it matters now, here she lies and here she will stay' Shing smirked and walked over to chichi and leaned closely to her face

'The world will soon be ours to rule' Tai said

'Yes it will, How does it feel chichi hmm? How does it feel to see me superior to you?' Shing whispered to the 'dead' chichi.

'I don't know, you tell me' A response came from the dead woman's mouth as Shing gasped and was landed a punch to the face by chichi who was now awake and energized. Wow that formula really worked!

'It worked!' Tai cheered

'YOU….YOU BETRAYED ME!?' Shing screamed

'Sorry Shing, but you're ambition of wreaking havoc ends now!' Tai huffed and got in a fighting stance as Chichi squared up to her former friend

'Hello Shing Ling' She greeted in a low tone

'I should have know it would be too easy'

'It seems we are both prone to resurrection.' Chichi smirked

'It's amazing what you can do with a bit of play-acting and a formula to make you appear dead.' Tai added as Chichi walked up to Tiger warrior

'Did your revenge... taste sweet?' Chichi asked

'For a moment... and then something strange happened. I think it could have been better if I had been the one to kill you myself'

'You sent Tai to do your dirty work, not the best choice of action'

'Agreed. He was obviously to weak to handle such a difficult task'

'He didn't kill me because I knew he was better than that. All it took was a few conversations and was released from your lies!' Chichi frowned

'Always the martyr aren't you chichi? Even now you believe to see the good in people'

'Not you, any hope of goodness I thought I could find in you disappeared when you tried to kill me and our friends'

'A mistake I will not make again I assure you. When all of this is over, I will be the one to stand on top and you will be cowering below me, along with everyone else on this rock!'

'You know what I think? I think Shifu should have left you to burn in your village all those years ago, would have saved so much grief and agony' Chichi lowered her tone as Shing gave her a vicious glare

'This ends now chichi, You and I, here at last ready to see who will come out on top'

'If there is one thing I have learned through all my time Shing, Is that I know evil when I see it, and I see a great deal of it you. And I will be the one to stop you'

'Oh really? And what makes you think you can stand before me, I have a great deal of power you couldn't begin to fathom'

'Yeah? Well so have I… RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!' Chichi screamed at the top of her lungs as the energy around her flowed, her hair glowing red like the fire and her eyes changing orange and her power flowing into her hands, shing was shocked! How could she have reached her potential power!

'You better pray Shing, because no one will pray for you' Tai scowled as Shing turned to him

'You disappoint me Tai, and there I thought you were better than a silly crush. Very well, then I guess you will need to be dealt with' She smirked and clicked her fingers as the earth began to rumble and giant dark Demon emerged for the fire pits and squared up to Tai knocking him back to a corner

'TAI!' Chichi called out

'I'LL BE FINE! YOU GOT THIS CHI!' He shouted and began to fight his battle, Chichi turned to look back on Shing and they walked in circles around the battleground

'I have to admit, I am impressed, took you long enough' Shing smirked

'Yes, and yet I sense you still haven't and I doubt you ever will' Chichi responded

'You doubt my power!?'

'I always doubted it, you always focused on the wrong factors of a fight, and because of it, it has made you weak, so weak in fact, that destroying you will be easy!'

'Easy!? You won't be saying that when I have your soul trapped in depths of hell for all eternity!'

'You're forgetting Shing Ling! The prophecy one said that the dark warrior will be defeted by a warrior who is pire of heart! Well guess what! You're standing right before her!' Tai yelled while fighting the demon

'Pure of heart? I will believe it when I see you beat me, which will never happen! You couldn't begin to fathom my power!'

'Then what are we waiting for Shing Ling!? LET'S END THIS RIGHT NOW!' Chichi yelled

'GET READY CHICHI! FOR YOU'RE DEATH IS NEAR, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Shing Ling charged as did chichi! Their battle commenced!

Back on earth the warriors were in an intense battle with uproar of underworld demons and all were contributing with punches and kicks, Goku power up to super sayien 2 to get them under control but they were a lot stronger than he anticipated. 5 of them began to jump on him as he blasted them all off him and they went to jump him, Goku got in his stance and began to form a beam in his hands

'KAAAAA…MEEEEEEEEE…HAAAAAAAAAA….MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…..HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!' He blasted them and were quickly disintegrated. More emerged as he fought his way through them.

Vegeta also was getting into the fight too, fighting off any demon that dared oppose a threat to him, more jumped on him as roared them off and shouted his signature attack

'GALLLICK GUN…FIREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE' He roared obliterating them. He smirked but then was tackled to the ground by another two demons, but he quickly got to his feet and fought them off.

Gohan and piccolo fought back to back as well as Piccolo blasted them away with his special beam cannon and removed his weighted Armor and moved twice as fast as Gohan went super sayien and flew though several demons fighting them off easily, to protect the earth and his mum.

'You okay Gohan?' Piccolo shouted as he punched a demon in the gut

'I'm okay, we got this Piccolo, Mom will send us a signal soon' Gohan answered and drop kicked a demon to the ground.

Meanwhile, Goten and Trunks fought back to back and decided it was time for their signature attack.

'You ready Goten?' Trunks smirked

'Yeah I'm ready' Goten answered as they began their fusion dance

'FUUUU…..SION…..HAAAA!' They both repeated in unison and turned into the strong and cocky Gotenks

'Get ready you bunch of creeps, because Gotenks is gonna send you back to the depths of hell' He smirked and moved twice as fast and hit twice as strong, the demons launched an attack on him but he was quick to respond and fought them off easily.

Krillen, Tien and Yamcha also made the effort to fight. Tien jumped high in the air and launched his signature attack

'SOLAR FLARE!' Tien yelled as the light blinded a bunch of demons

'NOW KRILLEN' Yamcha yelled

'DESTRUCTO DISC!' Krillen roared as his disc blast flew towards the blinded demos as they were cut in half and vaporised

'Ha it worked!' Yamcha cheered and punched a demon in the face! Roshi and Shifu also fought away the demons, Roshi muscled up and launched a Kamehameha wave at them as Roshi fought his side of the battle

'She has grown strong to control several creatures of the underworld.' Shifu said as Roshi Huffed in annoyance

'More and more keep emerging! I hope chichi will signal soon, I'm not sure we have what it takes to keep this up' Roshi answered

'Don't worry masters! We can keep this up!' Shang yelled as he and the other Zodiacs launched their signature moves.

'Give em all you got guys!' Yang yelled as she managed to send a signal to the animals to help, suddenly 2 giant eagles swooped down and began to knocked a bunch of demons of their feet, yang sent a smirk and dodged a punch form a demon and sent a punch to its gut and spin kick to its face knocking him back

Ren Punched his way through the group of demons and began to summon a dark cloud to hover over them and manipulated the cloud to strike a lightning bolt down at them disintegrating them, one went to attack him form behind but he sensed the attack and turned around fast kicked him back, then continued to fight back hard.

Meanwhile, Tyrian ran circled around several demons confusing several of them, next thing they knew they were taking a hit from his fists as he sped up is tact and had them all knocked to the ground, not to mention feeling very dizzy, Tyrian let out a chuckle and continued his manoeuvre making several demos extremely annoyed at the speedy warrior.

All the while, Ling su summoned a wave of water from a nearby pond and manipulated it into a giant wave and sent it crashing towards a group washing them away then trapping them in a sphere or water and threw the sphere pack into the pond, those demons were taken care of, two demons jumped her from behind but she quickly got out of their grasps and threw one of them at the other knocking them back far, she charged at them and fought them off.

Wang began to make a earth rumple and brought up a huge piece of the rock floor and threw it at a bunch of demons who were thrown back boy the giant rocks, as they fought of the smaller pieces, Wang conjured another one twice the size as the one before and threw it at them, resulting in several of them getting crushed in the process, more charged towards him as he tackled his way through them with his strength and began to punch hard, not backing down from a good fight!

Bo Fought her way through several demons who launched their attacks But she was quickly for them, when she was at a safe distance from them, she began to sing a small tune, not too loud but enough for her group of attackers to stop in their tracks and become infatuated with the sound of her voice, she sang so they began to slowly walk towards her and stopped in their tracks, suddenly the floor beneath them grew cold and the next thing they knew they were trapped in a huge patch of ice covering their bodies, Shen appeared and charged at his blocks of ice destroying them and the ice and the demons trapped inside were broken into pieces, Bo nodded at Shen to thank him as more demons charged towards them as they fought closely together.

Su Yao Dodged a few punched as two demons began to charge at her, she remained still as they went to jump on her but they suddenly hit the floor, confused as they believed they had her, Sy yao appeared again before them smirking as one demon got up and punched her in the face bus it went through her, like a projector, suddenly She was behind the demon and kicked to the ground, her gift of illusion paid off to confuse the enemy the other demon jumped at her fast and punched her hard as she hit the ground, he went to hit her again when suddenly he stopped, confusing her. She turned around and saw her partner there telepathically hypnotizing the demon as he got up and walked away and just casually walked in front of Goku and got caught in Kamehameha wave, Shang helped her up and they fought back to back.

They were fighting them off easily, but the demons kept reappearing and more in numbers

'We can't go on like this, eventually this will tire us out' Krillen said

'Then we better hope Chichi has all of it under control in the underworld' Goku replied and attacked the oncoming demons.

Chichi and Shing Ling charge at one another. Pull back to a long shot of the two; Chichi riding up on a lava wave and jumping free, Shing ling flying to meet her challenge. They struggle briefly before Chichi plans a boot sole in the aforementioned traitor's face and sends her down into the ground. When Shing sits up, she is just as angry as her opponent, and her eyes start to glow with a new and fiercer light. She raises herself on a column of lava, then jumps off it and hits Chichi with a flying tackle. Both tumble into the rocks that covers the floor.

The surface settles down and is dead still for a long, tense moment. First to stand up is Shing Ling, who then reaches in and pulls Chichi up by the hair, but a burst of flames knocks her off her feet. In a flash, Chichi has thrown herself at the former Zodiac warrior and pushed her head below the surface in an attempt to knock her out. Shing Ling turns around to send a large punch to her face enough force to throw Chichi halfway across the room. Shing stands up, still breathing on her own, and brings up a massive black energy beam and throws it at chichi who dodges and skids across the ground and sends a drop kick to Shing's gut! Shing grabs Chichi by her hair and pulls her back and sends a punch to her abdomen as chichi sends a punch to her face sending them both backing off from each other, both panting hard. Sweating hard, they both knew the other wouldn't' be put down easily.

'You know, Chichi, I never liked you. Even when I met you, I knew I was gonna hate you' Shing ling smirked

'I never wanted to be your enemy' Chi replied as She stands up. 'And I decided to give you the benefit of the doubt, everyone was welcoming you but I could see the clocks turning in your mind, You may have fooled the others, but I always knew you were a liar and was up to no good'

'Oh, really? Is that why you saved my life? Bring me into your home and make you watch as I tortured your friends…'

'Shut up!' Chichi yelled as she forms the lava into a wave and drives it toward Shing Ling, who parts it easily with her energy beam. The two are now on the ground away fom each other, eyeing the other up. Shing ling send her a smirk and begins to tease

'You're not getting mad, are you, Chi? Oh, better be careful. Tai told me all about your temper tantrums.' She smirked as Chichi scoffs

'Anger is pointless. My emotions are under control…'

'Nyah, nyah, nyah.' Shing Ling teases and makes flapping mouth with her hand 'And you're calling me a liar?' She smirked as Chichi gets to her feet and starts toward Shing Ling, but is stopped by a massive energy beam that knocks her back for six and shing punches the side wall and makes he rocks fall on Chichi trapping her

'Come on, Chichi. What stings the most?' She asks making a small ridge and walks towards her 'That I tricked you? That I nearly wiped out your team?' she continues and kneels to chichi; stone spreading over her body 'That everyone will soon die because of me?'

'Stop it!' Chichi yelled

'Or is it that deep down inside, you really believed I was your friend?' She said and that did it! Chichi let out a missing scream and the rocks were obliterated as chichi rose to her feet and began throwing several fife beams as Shing Who was dodging most but was getting his countless times.

'I trusted you!' Chichi yelled as She sends a hail of fire blasts down at Shing, who has to back up before them. 'We trusted you! We gave you everything and you treated us like dirt!' Chichi yelled as she threw a kick to her and brough up a huge flame and threw it towards her as Shing dodged it fast and threw a punch to Chi's face and held her by her neck!

'When all of this is over, and I have won. I will personally destroy everyone you hold dear, especially YOUR…... WROTHLESS… LITTLE…. FAMILY!'

'RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!' Chichi screamed and send Shing a huge energy blast sending tumbling over the side! She had to do it now! It was now or never!

'GOKU! GOKU!' She yelled in her mind

….

Goku continued his fight when her heard his wife's voice

'GOKU! GOKU!' She called out in his mind

'Chichi! You okay?' He asked as he destroyed 2 more demons

'Now! Tell Roshi and Shifu Do it now! OPEN THE DEAD ZONE!' She instructed
