Chapter 14 – I'm Home

One Year Later

Goku used his instant Transmission to bring him and Dende to new namek, the native namekians huddled around the two travellers and were kindly greeted by them all, They both appeared before the leader of the namekians Moori.

'Dende, how good it is to see you again' He greeted

'Moori, I'm glad to see you again. I hope received my message back on earth'

'Not to fret young one. We sensed the distress from your earth and knew Porunga could help. As we speak, my Namekian warriors are on their way back with the dragonballs!' Moori smiled

'This is wonderful! I'm so glad!' Dende cheered as Goku smiled

'we can wish her back in no time at all!' Goku sighed in relief

'Sir! We have returned with the dragonballs!' the namekian warriors returned and placed the balls on the ground, Moori examined them and huffed

'There is one ball Missing! Where is the 4th star ball!?' Moori called out as the namekian villagers looked around as Gou softly chuckled

'Of course it would be that one' He sighed

'Search the outer mountains, find that Ball' Moori informed

'Yes Sir!' The namkians answered and went off

'Come on Goku, let's help, We need one more dragon ball, then we can wish back your wife.' Dende suggested as Goku nodded and looked around, he only wondered How chichi was Getting on in the afterlife. And how anxious he was for her to come back, a year was long time to be with out the woman you love, of course he was being a little hypocritical since he was dead for 7 years, but it just proved how much Stronger chichi was. And he needed his strength back.

Chichi sat with her mother and father. For the whole time that went by, Chichi felt at bliss of finally meeting her mother properly and seeing her father looking well in the afterlife. They spent a lot of time catching up about chichi's life and Her mother's life, even had a few sparring sessions with each other too. The ox king was so happy to spend these moments with his family, makes him wonder what he missed out on when his queen died. Chichi also was grateful to be spending this time with her mother too. Getting to know her was a dream come true for the warrior princess.

'And then we all together gathered our energy and sent it to Goku, then he used the spirit Bomb to defeat Majin Buu' Chichi exclaimed

'It would seem your husband is a strong man'

'He is mama! I wish you had the chance to meet him, and your grandsons'

'In time, I shall. I am more glad you are here with me and your father. It meant so much you sacrificed a year away from your family'

'They understand. I can't begin to tell you how much I wanted to meet you. Say all the things I wanted to say.'

'You have given me this most precious time chichi. And I am so grateful. Its made me see how much you have grown and how strong you have become. I watched over you and I can proudly say, you couldn't make me any prouder even if you tried' Her mother smiled as Chichi sighed sadly 'What is it dear?'

'Its been a year'

'And very soon, You will be with your family again'

Meanwhile Back on Namek -

'Sir! We have found it!' A namekian called out as he came back to the village finally with the 4th star ball!'

'Yes! Now we're ready!' Goku cheered

'Go ahead Dende. Call him hence' Moori instructed as Dende nodded

Meanwhile back in the afterlife -

'Mama. I wish we had more time' Chichi began to swell with small tears

'You have given me this time. And you know where your heart lies now. You have a wonderful family waiting for you back on earth and a man who would bend the universe to have you in his arms again. That is all I ever wanted for you. Go be with your family Chichi, you have waited long enough now'

'I love you mom!' Chichi jumped in her mothers arms for one more embrace and enjoyed that mother/daughter moment. Chichi knew she would see her mother again, but for now, this was goodbye. She pulled away and walked to her Father who was trying not to cry.

'My Chichi…' He sighed

'I know what you're gonna say, but please not yet I still have a little time'

'My girl. I am so proud of you. And I'm so glad you are my child. Goku couldn't have asked for a better wife, your Children a better mother, our our kingdom a better princess' The Ox king Exclaimed

'Speaking of the Kingdom, Are you sure you're okay with the decision I came to?' She asked

'Of course, I trust any decision you make. There is no ill thoughts on this matter. And I know it's a wise decision.' He answered as he looked upon the chain chichi wore around her neck, representing who would rule their kingdom, and after a serious discussion on the matter. They reached a conclusion. Chichi slowly began to cry again, how many more tears did she have? She didn't want to cry in front of her father, on the grounds it make her feel weak, but in this matter, it needed to come out.

'What am I gonna do without you daddy? I feel like you should be coming with me' she cried as he wiped her tears

'You listen to me, no more tears now. You are stronger than that, more than I ever anticipated. I trained you myself remember, sent you to Shifu's school to push your limits and you have made me a proud father, and more so when you married Goku and had Gohan and Goten. You have been the joy of my life and I was happy to go the way I did, because it has made you the fighter I knew you to be. But you have people who need you still. I am here, with the woman I love and we will always be watching you, never forget that. I am so proud of you Chichi.' The ox King exclaimed as Chichi jumped into her father's arms and hugged him tightly, she had to let him go. It was time.

'I'm gonna miss you papa' She whispered as The ox king put her down and kissed her forehead

'I will be here' He pointed to her heart 'Always'

'Don't fret dear, I'll take good care of him' Her mother smiled as The ox king blushed

'I will see you both again. I promise'

'Take care of your family Chichi, and never forget, we will be here waiting for you, when you are ready' Her mother gave her one last kiss to her cheek as Chichi huddled closely with her parents for a tight family hug. Chichi felt happy, to know her mother in such a short amount of time, it was worth it. But now it was time.

'I'm ready' She whispered

Meanwhile back on Namek -

'Arise! Porunga!' Dende called out as the huge dragonballs lit up into the sky as the mighty Porunga appeared

'STATE YOUR WISH!' Porunga ordered

'We humbly ask of you to bring Son Chichi Back to life! She gave her own life one year ago today to save the planet that I guard, I ask of you to bringer back so she may remain on earth to be with her family' Dende ordered as Porunga paused as Goku waited patiently…

Meanwhile in the afterlife –

Chichi felt different, like something had made her jump into another body, she then felt it…. Her heart was beating! She looked up and the Halo Was gone!

'Mom! Dad! I'm alive again!' Chichi cheered as The ox King and the queen looked at their child happily

'Go to your family Chichi, Love them just as much as we love you. We'll always be watching you' Her mother cried as Chichi's Body began to fade

'We are proud of you Chichi, We love you. Goodbye My princess' The ox King waved good bye as Chichi cried happily and blew them a kiss as her body disappeared.

Meanwhile back on Namek –

'YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED! THE ONE CALLED CHICHI HAS BEEN REVIVED AND IS SAFELY BACK ON EARTH' Porunga roared as Goku's face lit up with pure happiness as Dende thanked the dragon as it disappeared

'I trust Our work is done?' Moori asked

'Yes it is! Thank you Moori, we are very grateful' Dende smiled as Goku gave them a smile

'Dende! Let's go!' Goku said as Dende nodded

Meanwhile Back On earth -

On the lookout, Gohan, Goten, Piccolo, Vegeta, Bulma, Tai, all the zodiac warriors, Shifu, Roshi and all the z warriors and their families waited patiently for the wish to be granted.

'Gohan what If the wish didn't work, what if mom can't come back?' Goten asked as Gohan shook his head

'Have hope Goten, Our mom is coming back, and we'll be sure to give her the welcome she deserves' Gohan answered

'How long until the wish is gonna be made?' Trunks asked his father

'Hmph! Who knows, If Kakartott can actually hurry it up and wish back his wife than it should be a matter of minutes' Vegeta answered

'Its been a while already, what if something did go wrong?' Krillen asked

'I hope not, She can't be gone forever' Yang sighed sadly as Tai wrapped an arm around her

'Don't worry, she's gonna come back. You'll see' He smiled gently as Yang blushed

'Hey what is that?' Su Yao pointed as A bright light appeared before them, it blinded their sight so they couldn't make out anything, the light faded away and Gohan and Goten looked upon the figure. Without hesitation or more wasted time, they ran full speed at the mighty warrior.

'MOM!' They Both yelled as they jumped into their mother's arms as she welcomed every hug and kiss they offered

'Oh My Boys! I'm so happy to see you! I have missed you so much!' Chichi cried as she showered her children with plenty of hugs and kisses.

'Chichi you're back!' Bulma cheered and went to hug her friend

'Its good to be back' chi giggled

'Yeah, the last year hasn't touched you' Yang added as chi went to hug her too

'I'm glad you're here' chi smiled

'I'm just so happy your alive! So is he!' Yang pointed to Tai, chichi walked over to him, she saw him frowning

'I know what your thinking' she said

'It was my fault, if I had known what you'd do then…'

'Then you would have stopped me and we would have been in danger. It was my choice, therefore not your responsibility, I was just glad you made it out of there' Chichi smiled as did Tai and they both shared a tight hug

'I missed you!' He said as she kissed his cheek

'I missed you too! All of you' She exclaimed as everyone began to crowd her with attention and praise

'So glad you're back chi' Tyrian smiled

'Yeah you were so brave!' Su Yao cheered

'We're glad your home safe!' Krillen added

'The last year has been quiet without you old friend' Shang smiled

'Old? I'm a year younger than you now' Chichi joked as the others laughed

'Its nice to see my strongest student in one piece' Shifu stepped forward as Chichi bowed before her master

'Master Shifu. Its good to see you again'

'Likewise child, tell me, what of Shing Ling?' He asked

'Yeah what happened Chi?' Wang asked

'She is trapped, in the dead zone. Would seem by killing me, it released me from the dark abyss.' Chichi explained

'But if it could release you from there because of death… what happens if she decides to kill herself to get to the after life?' Bo panicked

'It wouldn't matter, she'd probably end up in hell, plus I don't think anyone will be in a hurry to revive her, don't you think?' Yamcha explained as the others nodded in agreement

'The dragonballs served their purpose this time round, its good to see you Chichi' Piccolo softly smiled

'Yes, I suppose having you back isn't so bad, though I must admit, your screeching was not missed' Vegeta huffed receiving a smack from Bulma

'We're just so happy your back mom' Gohan smiled

'Yeah dad and us have missed you!' Goten added

'But where is your fathe…' Before chi could finish, Goku appeared back onto the lookout with Dende and looked at his surrounding and his breath quickened when he saw her there. Her hair flowing with the wind, her red ninja dress looked slightly torn up showing her muscles and her face looking towards him and their eyes locked, neither wanting to take the eye off the other and not even daring to blink. Chichi walked towards her husband as he walked towards his wife. They both stood inches away from each other, not saying anything.

'G…Goku, I know you might be angry at me but you have to try and understand that I had no choice, shing was gonna destroy the planet and I needed her to get in the dead zone fast and then I died and I met my mom and I just wanted a little bit of time with her because let's face the next time I'll probably see is when I'll be…..' before Goku could let her ramble on, he pulled her my her tiny waist and crushed his lips against hers in a long overdue passionate kiss, Chichi melted into her Husband's powering kiss and found herself wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him closer to her, everyone cheered for the couple who were happily reunited together. Goku lifted his woman up bride style and looked lovingly into her eyes

'I missed you' he whispered

'I missed you too' she responded and rested her forehead on his.

'Its good to have you back Chichi' Ren cheered as did the others

'Its good to be back' She sighed

'Now that we got you back, we have a party to get started, everyone! To Capsule Corp!' Bulma cheered. Chichi laughed and rolled her eyes. How could she say no to a party?

After a huge party at capsule corp that lasted through the rest of the day, Goku, chichi and the boys were flying home. Chichi flew holding Goten who was fast asleep in his mother's arms while Goku just looked at her, he couldn't believe she was back, he wondered if this was how she felt when he was gone. They finally landed at their home and Chichi immediately embraced being back where she belonged, it felt so long ago since she set foot in her own house. The last time was when she left to fight. Now she was back where she wanted to be. She took Goten up to his room and gently placed him on his bed,

'Momma?' He whispered

'Yes Honey?' She answered

'You will be here tomorrow right?' he asked, he sounded nervous as chichi gave him a loving look and stroked his hair

'Goten I'm not going anywhere, I'm home and Ill always be here'

'Do you promise, pinky promise?' He held out his pinkie finger making the princess giggle and wrapped her pinkie finger with his

'Pinkie promise' she smiled as Goten yawned and sleep consuming him, it seemed he wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. She turned to Gohan who gave her a huge hug and said he was going to bed.

'I love you Mom. I'm glad your home safe' He said as chichi gave him a cheek kiss

'I love you too Son, I'm glad to be back' She smiled as Gohan went to his room. Chichi walked into her and Goku's bedroom and immediately felt nervous, it had been a year. And they both knew what they got like when they hadn't been close to eachother for such a long period of time. Goku was already taking his boots off and sat on the bed, chichi closed the door and sat on the opposite side of the bed.

'So… Here we are again' She giggled

'Yeah. I guess we both now what it's like to be without the other now' He said

'I'm sorry Goku, but please understand that i….'

'I Know why you did it, and I understand you wanted to be with your mom and dad. I don't blame you'

'You don't?'

'I could never blame you chichi, I just want you to know the last year has been absolutely unbearable, sleeping here without you next to me, all I could think about is what I was gonna do to you when you finally came back' he whispered into her ear, her cheeks flushing crimson red and her heartbeat picking up the pace, however she looked confidently at him and gave a smirk

'I'm assuming, the next time I'm called anywhere to fight, you'll probably have something to say about that'

'Oh believe me, if that happens, I'm tying you to this bed so you never leave' He huskily whispered making her skin form goosbumbs. It had been a long year.

'But if I don't fight again, I won't be the girl you fell in love with would i?' she whispered as he grazed his hands over her face

'Whether you're a badass fighter or a devoted housewife. I'm gonna love you no matter what. You're my wife, and I love you'

'I love you too. And I missed you so much. It must have been weird not having me here'

'It had its moments like anything, but we were just counting the days till we could wish you back. And I have been planning exactly how to make this reunion better and will benefit the both of us' he grinned as she raised an eyebrow.

'And what were you planning on doing?' She asked as Goku pulled her onto his lap and began to kiss her hard. Chichi didn't object to the force her husband was putting on, if he hadn't. she would have. However she pulled away for a moment confusing him

'I will be back, I really gotta take a shower first though' she said kissing his cheek and making her way to the bathroom, Goku sped up in front of her and blocked her way

'You're not going anywhere' he growled as she stepped back confused

'Goku, I need the bathroom' she said

'I don't care if you need a shower, you're not getting it right now'

'But Babe I stink!' she argued blushing

'Stink? all I smell is the beautiful woman in front of me, and who I am dying to get reacquainted with, its been a year chichi, please let me love you' he whispered huskily into her ear as she moaned, Goku looked her in the eyes and pinned her against the wall biting down on her neck and caressing her body through the clothes she wore. Chichi responded happily to his kiss, especially when he lifted her up by the legs and carried her to the bed. Their tongues danced with each other and Goku and chichi stifled their moans, this was just the beginning, chichi traced her fingers under Goku shirt and pulled away from their kiss to pull the shirt off him, still sitting on his lap she traced her nails over his hard pecks making him growl, he looked her dead in the eye and she knew he desired her, more than he ever had before. She leaned in to kiss him hard as his hands found their way to the back of her dress and just passionately ripped it off her body, Chichi gave a gasp, she wasn't sure whether it was an annoyed gasp or an aroused one, Then he began to bite her mate scar. The lovebite he gave her their very first time, then she knew it was an aroused gasp. Goku removed the ripped clothes from her body as she pushed him down on the bed giving him a full view of her body, now she only wore her black bra and hot red panties, leaving Goku only in his Gray boxers, He sat up again to hold her tightly in his arms and kissed her. To have her back with him again, nothing could ever top this moment! He wanted to think about nothing else! Not unless it involved his wife and himself, making up for lost time. He looked her dead in the eye and saw how much she wanted him to hold her, to kiss her, to touch her, to make love to her! Goku powered up to super sayien as their lovemaking progressed, he had been dying to feel her on him for so long, and now the waiting was over. Chichi felt exactly the same way, ever since she landed back on earth all of her desires were brought back and The waiting was driving her crazy.

'I love you chichi! And I fucking missed You' He whispered, sending goosebumps down her spine, driving her wild.

'Oh… Goku…..' Chichi felt her body heart increase, and decided to take things up a notch, after some kisses, bites and scratches from her sayien lover, chichi found herself unlocking her hidden potential again and her hair changing to the dark shade of red and her eyes as bright as engulfed flames, looking deep into the teal eyes of her super sayien husband who was getting incredibly turned on.

'Well….. This is new' He smirked stroking her toned legs

'Don't tell me you haven't thought about me like this' she whispered, her hands clawing his hard abs

'Oh I have, and I gotta say, I think I'm gonna enjoy this' he said as she leaned down to kiss him sweetly as he pulled away and stroked her face 'I love you Chichi' He whispered

'I love you too Goku. More than you know' she whispered and removed his boxers for him, Goku's hands found their way to her back and unclasped her bra letting it fall. He then very quickly removed the underwear off her body too leaving her on top of him in all her beautiful glory. Chichi bit down on her lip as she gazed at her sayien and let out a deep breath, leaning down to kiss him softly, Goku pulled away and looked deep in her eyes

'Then show me' he whispered, that was enough. Chichi straddled his hips and began their passionate reunion! The evening was beyond magical, and for Goku and Chichi, It was worth waiting for.

The next morning, Goku woke up with the sun hitting his eyes and looked around the room,there was dent in the Wall from where he pushed her up against, the floor was scattered with his clothes and her ripped clothes and the bed was all ruffled and there was broken stich on the bed as some feathers were hovering about the place and he took a look at himself and saw his bite marks and scratches, her new power had really been brought to light during their intimate session, they really went all out last night. He looked back on his love who was still sound asleep in bed, he smiled and sighed in relief she was home again. She looked so peaceful in her sleep, some small traces of feathers were caught in her dark midnight hair and her body was inflicted with lovebites and few scratches, he was warned in the past not to go carzy with that stuff but last night Chichi welcomed every scratch, every bite and every rough touch. He then leaned down to kiss her sweet lips and then began to kiss her neck, giving her a few teasing licks. He heard her Moan gently in her sleep as removed the cover off her and began to kiss all over her body, he moved down to her stomach as she giggled awake and sat up on her elbows looking down at him with a raised eyebrow.

'You wanna tell me what your planning on doing Son Goku?' She smirked as he mirrored her expression and moved back up to kiss her lips, pushing her back down on the bed.

Morning baby' he whispered and began to kiss her neck, hearing her moan.

'You don't know when to stop do you?' She giggled

'Why would I need to? I've got you back haven't i?' He grinned as she giggled and moaned, craving him to love her before the day started, She looked around the room and let out a giggle

'Wow… we uhhh… didn't hold back did we?' She giggled

'No. Chi last night, that was incredible, it was like you sustained it even more than you normally can, I think I was worn out first' Goku laughed as chichi raised a brow

'Oh really, and how much energy do you have now?' she smirked as he placed himself on top of her and gave a few teasing licks to her neck

'Would you like to find out?' he whispered as she moaned ready for an intimate morning, But then Goku then grunted and got off her.

'What is it?' She asked as Goku threw her some clothes as he got back under the covers.

'You may wanna put some clothes on….' Goku answered as Chichi threw her night shirt and underwear on as Gohan and Goten bursted into the room

'Mom!' They called out, Goten jumped onto his mother's lap as Gohan stood on the edge of his parent's bed

'Morning boys, I trust you slept well' She smiled

'Better now we know your back' Gohan responded

'It sucked when you weren't here momma, we missed you so much' Goten hugged his mother as she smiled

'I missed you all too. You know that. Everything that has happened in the last year, I did it all for you 3. You know that right?' She asked

'Of course we do Chi, we never thought otherwise' Goku smiled

'How was Grandpa in the afterlife mom?' Gohan asked as Chichi sadly smiled

'He's okay Gohan. He's with Your grandma and she'll take care of him. He said he is so proud of you 2, and he'll always be looking out for you, even if you can't see him'

'I'm gonna miss him' Goten sighed as Chichi embraced her youngest

'We all will'

'Mom, now that you're back, there is one more thing I wanna know though…' Goahn asked uneasy

'What is it Gohan?' She asked

'Now that we know who you are, what you can do now that your power has grown, does that mean your gonna be….. you know… training?' He asked as Chichi thought for a moment

'Yeah I was wondering the same thing' Goku said as Chichi brought her boys closer to her

'Listen to me, no matter who I am or what I can do, its never gonna change who I am now. I am a wife and a mother, but now I realise that, I'm also a warrior, a very strong warrior and I can't ignore or pretend anymore. I want to embrace my strength and so I decided, that I will keep up with my training, because who knows what dangers we could potentially face in the future. I want to be ready. Because I want to protect you boys, and our friends and the earth.' She stated as Goku, Gohan and Goten looked at her proudly

'Training with you is gonna be awesome Mamma!' Goten cheered

'Yeh I can't wait to spar with you, you might be better than dad!' Gohan joked

'HEY!' Goku huffed as the boys laughed as Chichi kissed his

'Leave your dad alone, he knows he can never be a match for me' Chichi teased

'Oh really? I'd like you to test your theory' He challenged as she laughed

'Later, first I got things to attend to. Starting with going to My dad's kingdom' She said

'We've been taking care of the place while you were gone mom' Goten smiled

'Yeah, Even the zodiac warriors helped too, they've been amazing, especially Tai, he's been very hands on with repairing the kingdom and keeping it afloat, I guess he still feels guilty' Gohan explained as Chichi smiled

'Dad doesn't blame Tai for his actions, and neither do I, his mind was twisted. But now its back, there is something I have to do. I need to get to the Kingdom' She said

'We'll go with you Chi' Goku smiled

'Great! But first I could do with a shower than I'll make us breakfast'

'No worries! We got breakfast Cooking Don't we Goten?' Gohan asked

'Yeah, we figured you would not want to cook when your returned, so we made breakfast for you instead. Come down when your ready' Goten said as he and Gohan left the room, chichi looked shocked and proud at the same time.

'I guess miracles can happen' she said and removed her shirt and underwear, grabbing a towel and walking into their en-suite

'Aww you gotta do that now?' Goku whined as she giggled and walked over to him and whispered.

'We have tonight, and every night from now on' Her whispers were enough to make him crazy there and then, she got up and walked to the doorway of the shower and then an idea popped in her head, she looked back at her husband then began to tease.

'You know…. You really did wear me out last night' She smirked as he looked up at her.

'Huh?' He asked

'So much that my muscles are so sore, I can barely hold up this towel…..Oopsie' with that she dropped the towel in front of him making him groan, she was teasing! 'I don't think I'm gonna be able to wash my whole back with these sore arms, any ideas Goku?' She asked standing there in all her glory as Goku got out of the bed and walked towards, stark naked himself.

'Well, if your in that much pain, I know one way I can help…' he grinned

'Oh really?'

'Yep! Only I'm gonna have to join you in that shower….' He whispered as she smirked

'Well then, what are we waiting for?' she whispered as Goku picked her up by her legs and carried her into the shower. Turning it on and smacking her body against the shower tiles with the steam filling the room as he happily showed his wife how much he missed her and wanted her, again.

'Oh Goku….*Gasp*' she moaned

'Chi..chi….' he Moaned, not a bad way to start the morning.

After a hardy breakfast cooked by Gohan and Goten, the son Family took off towards the Ox King's castle, Chichi felt strange to return to the castle, and even more so no that her father was gone. But she knew he was in a better place. The castle came into view as they landed before the villagers, everyone bowed before Chichi as she was still their princess, everyone gave her praise as she accepted all compliments and smiles.

'And honour your highness'

'Its good to see you've returned'

'Three cheers for Princess Chichi' they all exclaimed as Chichi felt her cheeks go pink, she wasn't used to this much attention, suddenly a little girl appeared before her and handed Chichi a beautiful bouquet of fresh poppies and daisies, Chichi knelt down to the child's height to accept them gracefully.

'Thank you for saving the world' she said shyly as Chichi awed the small girl and kissed her cheek, she looked back at Goku and blushed. Goku was welcomed back by the villagers as were the boys and they stayed back with them as chichi headed to the main castle balcony that overlooked the entire kingdom, it was always said that every new ruler would appear before the people there and then and promise to bring peace to his or her people. Chichi looked down at the necklace with their royal seal printed on it and removed it from her neck. Suddenly two people appeared behind her and called out

'Chichi! We're so glad you're here!' Yang cheered and Jumped into Chichi's arms as chichi accepted a tight embrace, she looked back at Tai who gave her a bow as she did

'Its good to see you both. I just wanted to say. I appreciate everything you have done for my father's kingdom, I know he will be pleased his people and castle are being well looked after'

'Its was never an issue, we were happy to help. It took a while but I like to think we did a god job'

'We sure did' Yang winked at him as he blushed and chichi grinned

'So….. when did this happen?' She asked referring to them both being… close.

'Well after you said you were gonna be gone for a year, I decided to help your husband and sons on rebuilding this place, then Tai followed saying he's gonna do the same. 'I felt different around Yang, like I could be myself. I can't remember the last time I felt like that. She never wished me ill will and I can honestly say I can't cope without her anymore. And the next thing I knew, I fell in love with her' Tai brought his hand into Yang's who was blushing pink as chichi smiled.

'I'm pleased for you both. Its about time we had some good news' chichi grinned

'I'm glad you think so, cause I can't imagine being without him now' Yang blushed

'Well could you try for a few minutes, there's something I want to discuss with Tai alone if that's okay'

'Yeah sure, I'll be inside' Yang nodded and walked back indoors leaving Chichi and Tai on the balcony.

'Everything okay chi?' He asked

'You love her?' she asked as he sighed and happily and softly smiled

'Yeah I think I do'

'I'm glad, its about time you were due some happiness, and I think Yang will provide it for you'

'I'm glad you think so, a lot has changed in the past year'

'I agree, and that is what I came to talk to you about actually.'

'What do you mean?' Tai asked

'I Spoke with my dad in the afterlife about the matter of who rules his kingdom now that he has died, naturally as I am his only heir, it would be befitting of me to step up as a queen' Chichi exclaimed overlooking her kingdom

'Seems befitting, you'll make a great queen'

'Except…..'

'Huh?'

'I have no interest in ruling this kingdom, somehow I never wanted the authority, I don't even know where to begin, and then I look down at them…' She gazed at her family laughing and playing in the square and smiled

'And?' Tai asked

'I realised all I want is to be with them, till the end of my days, a life of peace and plenty, however that does not mean I am to abandon my people so drastically, I am still their princess nonetheless, and that'll never change'

'So what are you going to do?' Tai asked as Chichi showed him the necklace

'You know what this is?' She asked

'Yes, it's a royal seal, only the ruler of the kingdom can wear that'

'yes. Papa was wearing it when he died, I took it after he died and kept with me ever since. When I was with him in the afterlife, I told him about my plans to just return to my life with Goku and the Boys. And after some discussion I realised as the only temporary ruler, I have the authority to choose who I want to take care of this kingdom' she said and looked at Tai, who realised what she was saying

'YOU WANT ME TO BE KING?!' He said falling over anime style

'Yes! Tai you'd be a great king!'

'Chichi I don't know anything about being a king! I'm not even family to you or even have a royal stature to my name'

'You're a zodiac warrior. One of the best fighters on this planet, and my best friend. You have no idea how much you mean to me and I can see how much effort and care you gave my kingdom while I was gone, I mention you're name and all I receive are smiles and praise, not to mention you have Yang by your side, Tai I can't think of anyone better to call a king, And as the temporary ruler, I herby name you Tai, Zodiac warrior of the dog to become the new king of fire mountain.' Chichi stated as she handed Tai the necklace and placed it upon him, Tai couldn't even begin to function all the thoughts he was receiving, him a king? This could be a disaster, what if he did something wrong or the kingdom would fall, he'd never forgive himself, but a bigger part of him was screaming in rejoice! Him a king? He could make something of himself, and with Yang by his side, anything felt possible. He kneeled before chichi and took her hands

'I swear, by my honour, I will rule this kingdom with grace and honour. I may not be a better king than your father, but I shall do what any king would do, and that is to think of his people. You have my word Chichi. I won't let you down' he kissed her hands as she rose him to his feet and gave him a huge hug.

'You are gonna be amazing! And now that that is taken care of its time to start planning your coronation.'

'My coronation, that sounds like a lot of work'

'Leave it with me. It'll be a day to remember' She smiled and flew down to Goku and her children to tell them the news and how much planning needed to be done. If they were gonna celebrate, they sure as hell were gonna get it right.

I'm sorry to say, the next chapter will be the last. This story has been amazing to do but now its coming to an end, until then…
