SO HERE WE ARE! Here is the final chapter. I have to say I am so happy with how this story played out and I am sad to see it finish, but it gives me a chance to begin new stories now. Out with the old in with the new. So here we go! One last time. Happy reading ;)

Chapter 15 – Once a warrior, always a warrior

Hundreds of people arrived for the special day, Chichi and Yang had organised the whole day all was prepared. Tai was ready to embrace his new role and finally the time was now. Everyone had gathered together as Chichi stood before the crowd wearing a beautiful red Qiapo dress with a long slit going up towards her thigh and her hair placed in a messy bun with her small crown on her head. Like this in this moment, she was a princess, and held that title proudly. Yang stood beside her holding a pillow with a crown upon it as Chichi held the necklace in her hands, it was time to pass it on. The music began as Tai nervously walked before the huge crowd, he wore a Dark green Changpao with a red sash going across his waist and held his sword on his right hand side. He saw all the people giving him hopeful and proud looks as he softly nodded, he then saw his master and his zodiac friends sitting there rooting for him, Shifu gave him an approving nod as if to say he was proud of the man he had become. And there also the z warriors all gathered there, with Goku with a smile as the boys gave him a thumbs up. Tai walked up the stairs of the platform and clocked eyes with Yang, she looked so beautiful in her Luxurious Purple Satin Phoenix Long Qipao Chinese Dress and her stunning brunette hair let down from her ties. He felt his heart flutter as she noticed his stare and blushed. Tai couldn't help but feel as though he had finally found someone who could really make him happy, damn he couldn't find her sooner. But now she was here and perhaps one day, even be his queen. He turned to Chichi who gave him a raised eyebrow and a playful smile as he blushed, He snapped out of it cleared his throat and Kneeled before the royal princess as she spoke.

'Tai Féng, Do you solemnly swear to govern the people of this kingdom and its dominions according to the statutes, customs and laws laid down by my forebears?' She asked

'I do, Your Highness.'

'Do you promise to exercise mercy and justice in your deeds and judgments?'

'I do, Your Highness.'

'And do you swear allegiance to The Fire Kingdom, now and for as long as you shall live?' She asked as He crossed an arm over his chest as a mark of promise

'I Tai Féng, do pledge life and limb to My service and to the protection of the fire kingdom and its peoples.' He stated As chichi placed the necklace around his neck and turned to take the cron off the cuchion Yang was holding and places it upon Tai's head

'Now being of age and chosen apparent, from henceforth, you shall be King Of Fire Mountain.' Chichi states as the whole crowd applauds. Tai stands up and faces the crowd smiling and waving. Yang walks to him as Tai gives her a sweet kiss, making the crowd sheer more. Chichi couldn't be happier for her friends and the She knew her kingdom was in safe hands now.

After the coronation, there was a large celebration across the kingdom and utside several people were eating, drinking dancing, singing and music never stopped playing, Tai and Yang walked around the streets greeting the civilians as Chichi watched from her balcony. She saw how much he had changed for the better and was glad he was finally happy. With Yang by his side, anything felt possible. Chichi noticed one of the villager's handed Yang her newborn baby and Yang cooed over the small infant, Tai looked and saw the sweetness of Yang holing a baby and cooed over the baby too, Chichi began to wonder, perhaps children could be in their future, she hoped so. As she watched over the new king as his future queen, she didn't notice Shifu coming up from behind her

'They will be very happy together' Shifu smiled as Chichi nodded

'Yes. I have every faith in them protecting my father's kingdom.'

'He would be proud of you, and I am too. I knew you were strong, but I never thought you would surpass my limitations'

'You mean that?' she asked

'Yes I do' he smiled as Chichi looked down a her zodiac friends and notices some other younger people standing with them in the same sort of zodiac clothes

'Who are they master?' She asked

'My new students, it would seem after recent events I am in need of new warriors, the zodiacs must keep going' He explained

'Yes, I'm sure they will make you proud'

'You mean you proud' He said as Chichi looked up

'What?'

'You proud, after everything that has happened, do you think I have what id takes to keep training these students. You have surpassed me in any form possible, its only befitting you guide them through their journey to be a worthy warrior like you'

'You mean….. You want me to be a master?'

'Take my place, its befitting of you, I told you long ago that I needed a warrior I could trust, one who does show evil within them, one of pure heart. And You chichi fit the job description well. What do you say?' He asked as Chichi looked down at the potential new fighters and her friends also. Her a master? The thought was thrilling, to teach new fighters how strong they can be, to push further than their expectations. Be heroes and protect the earth, she softly smiled and turned to her master.

'Thank you master. But I cannot accept your offer' she bowed as he looked her curiously

'May I ask, why say no?'

'Because despite what everyone may believe of me, how much stronger I am or what I may become, I never saw it as my destiny. I love to fight, I always have from when I was a child and I only do so when it is completely necessary, and I encouraged my own children to do the same, that did not mean I wanted them to devote their entire lives to risking their lives and futures for something dangerous. Its no way to live, I wanted them to have a life of peace. And balance that peace with protecting what they love by being strong. Its what I always taught Gohan and Goten. And I will continue to protect them and teach them those ways. I fought because I wanted to be where I am now, I wanted a family, a family with the man that I love, who has surpassed his own expectations that non of us knew he could. He fights to protect his family so he can be with his family and I do the same. And now with everything that has happened, all I want to do is to be with them. Till the end of my days' Chichi said whilst looking down at her husband and sons who were happily engaging into the crowds celebration. Chichi knew with them is where she wanted to be. Shifu looked at her with pride and understanding.

'Your loyalty Is breath-taking. I understand, perhaps it is time I train one of them to become a master' Shifu looked to his students as chichi smiled

'They are all worthy of it. And will always train alongside you' Chichi smiled 'However, despite my rejection to being a master, I would like to continue my training with them too. I want to embrace who I am. Who knows how long we have peace and I want to be ready' she smiled as Shifu chuckled

'You are always welcome chichi. Never think you were not. You are my strongest student and that you will remain' Shifu gave her a respectful bow as did chi and they went their separate ways for now. Chichi blissfully looked over the kingdom and smiled. Everything was in place

Goku and the boys were enjoying their time celebrating with the kingdom and went into the square and saw that the large fountain in the square had a statue in the middle of it, the statue was of the Ox King, smiling and giving a wave. Tai had organised for the statue to be placed in the centre of the village so all will remember the Ox King and for what he fought for. A true hero.

'He would of liked this' Gohan sighed

'You miss him huh?' Goku asked

'Yeah, Grandpa was incredible, I sure will miss him' Goten said sadly

'We all will miss him. I never thanked him'

'For what dad?' Gohan asked

'For bringing Chichi into my life, without here, I don't know where I would be'

'I would have found you, no matter what' Chichi turned up being dim and kissed his cheek and looked to the statue too and gave a smile, she placed a bouquet by the fountain and gave the staue of her dad a smile 'I love you dad' She smiled and Walked back over to her family

'Where have you been momma. Tai and Yang are going around the village greeting everyone, we thought you'd be with them' Goten asked

'I was with Shifu, he offered for me to be a new master of the Zodiacs again' she exclaimed as the boys gasped

'Mom! You a master?! Well that's awesome!' Gohan cheered

'I turned him down' She said bluntly

'You did? Why?' Goku asked

'Because I never wanted it. I have been offered to be queen, and now I've been offered to be a master, when overall I never wanted the privileges or the power. It isn't me, I'm a fighter yes. And I wanted to be stronger and braver, but I also wanted something more' chi said looking at Goku and holding his hand 'I wanted the man I fell in love with, who swooped down on his little yellow cloud and got paralyzed when I pulled on his tail' she giggled as he did and she turned to her children 'Also, I wanted the children who would grow to be the bravest and most strongest people the world has ever seen. I wanted our life in the forest, surrounded by the wildlife and each other. I wanted peace for us, and I have it. What makes you think I would throw it away, you are far to precious to me, and no title of a master or a queen could begin to compare. I want this, us, our family' She stated as the boys looked at her in adoration and love. Goten hugged his mother by her legs as Gohan went to hug her also, Goku wrapped around them all as they embraced in a tight family hug. Chichi knew here is where she wanted to be. With her boys.

'Chichi!' Tai called out as Chichi pulled away from her boys and looked to the new king

'Tai everything okay?' she asked

'Well I actually wanted to run something by you, and I think you can help all of us' He said as all the zodiacs came together

'Me?'

'Well you see these new students are wanting to learn a few trick of the trade' Shang explained

'And we thought it would be wise to teach them a thing or two' Su Yao smiled

'About what it actually means to be a Zodiac warrior' Shen added

'Oh sure! I'll be happy to help tell them' Chichi agreed

'Yeah but wouldn't it be better to show them?' Tyrian smirked

'Show them?'

'You still remember your Kata… right?' Ren asked as Chichi's eyes grew wide and panicked

'Oh no! No no no no no no no' She said trying to walk away

'Oh come on!' Bo laughed

'Guys we haven't done that since we were young. You can't be serious'

'That kata represents each of us in our own unique way, don't tell me you've never enjoyed doing it' Ling su smirked

'Well sure but its been a long time'

'But we never forgot' Wang added

'Come on chi, let's show them what it means to be a zodiac warrior' Yang smiled as chichi looked to her friends and smiled

'You do it, I'll watch' she smiled

'My first order as King of the fire mountain, I ask for the princess to joining the Zodiac kata' Tai smirked as chichi did also

'Playing the king card now?'

'Come on chichi. We can do this!' Yang smiled with glee as Chichi smiled

'Let's do it!' Chichi cheered as did the other warriors as they all took their positions in the centre of the square as everyone gathered to watch

'What are they doing?' Gohan asked

'I don't know but I'm excited to find out' Goten said as Goku was also curious

'Whatever it is, it must be important look how formal they are' Goku pointed out, the 11 warriors stood together in their signature stances as the new students watched and waited for them to Begin. Shifu stood before them and gave all his students an approving smile.

'MY ZODIAC WARRIORS…..COMMENCE!' He roared as the all 11 fighter began throwing punches and high kicks moving side to side, their techniques being applied at any angle. Shen blew the ice from his mouth as it soared through the sky, while ren manipulated thunderclouds into his hands, Wang bring a few pieces of the earth into the air while Ling Su used her gift to have the water from the fountain soar around her. Tyrian stances were faster than anybody's while su Yao confused the crowd by appearing in one place but reappeared in another, Bo began to sing a tune that was enchanting come of the crowds as she threw some kicks in the air while as Yang used her gift to bring forth a few little animals before such as the birds. Tai used his strength to send shockwave through his punches and his kicks and finally chichi brought out the flames in her body and unlocked her hidden potential and the red hair flowed and her eyes changing into a light orange.

Everyone watched in amazement as the Zodiacs embraced their gifts and then quickly began to spar with eachother, the new students joined in trying to learn how to do their Katas while Tai and Chichi were going toe to toe with eachother! Goku and the boys watched as their girl was getting one over on her best friend and saw how much she had changed! This is who she was meant to be! Goku was intrigued with the kata as were the boys and they decided to join in too. Even some of the Z warriors wanted to learn how to practice it too, as the kata helps balance out the energy through your body and can be released with better force and control when fighting. Goten and Trunks were trying to get through it while Gohan stood with Shang who taught him through the moves. Krillen and Yamcha decided to work on it alongside Ling su as Tien and Chiaoutzu were getting taught by Tyrian. Vegeta and Piccolo watched from the side-lines not interested in participating but were paying attention. Bulma stood with Vegeta and 18 who was holding little Marron in her arms as they watched their friends participating. Roshi stood alongside Shifu as they watched their students getting along and thought it would be good to do this more often. Goku went over to Tai and Chichi who were still going toe to toe as Tai gave a grin and happily stepped aside to let the couple stand together. Chichi got in her fighting stance as Goku powered to super sayien and started going toe to toe with her, he realised that since her knew power had been unleashed, he didn't have to hold back as much anymore. She was meeting his level of power, and he enjoyed the thrill of being beaten by his love! Chichi looked at her husband and then around at everyone around her and for that moment. She felt free. As if nothing could ever ruin the moment for her as she had embraced who she was and had her family alongside her.

'So…. How do you feel?' Goku asked as he went in for a punch but she quickly grabbed his fist

'Happy. I forgot how much I enjoyed this' She smirked kneeing him in the gut

'You've gotten stronger Chi! I love it, Its gonna make our sparring sessions a lot more interesting' He smirked

'I agree, and I still have to reach higher levels, which is why I've decided to train again' She said as Goku smiled 'If your okay with that' She said as she went in for a punch as he grabbed her fist and spinned her into his arms

'I would love for you to keep getting stronger. But now matter what you decide, its never gonna change my love for you' he said as she blushed

'You always know what to say don't you Son Goku?' she grinned as he picked her up by her thighs and gazed into her bright burning eyes

'And there I thought you couldn't be any more enchanting' he grinned

'Now you know how I felt when I saw you super sayien transformation for the first time. Although despite how much I like it, I still prefer the real you' She smiled as Goku powered down back to his original state as she smiled

'Yeah, well as much I love this new look you got going on, I still prefer your true self' he replied as Chichi got the idea and also powered down, her dark locks flowing on her side and her midnight eyes gazing upon him 'There's my chichi' he whispered as she held onto him tighter and grazed her hands across his cheeks

'I love you Goku, My sayien' she whispered

'I love you too Chichi, My zodiac Fighter' He leaned in as their lips intertwined with the other, blocking out all thoughts of everything happening around them. It was just them together, the sayien and The warrior Princess. High up in the Sky the ox king was looking down at his child in the arms of the man that she loved and gave a hopeful smile for the future. The earth was safe and it always would be so long As these fighters were still around and still fighting for what they believed. Peace and Love. And Goku & Chichi would always fight for what was right. And that is how it would always be, Forever.
