Hello everyone. I am so sorry for not uploading to this story for almost a year.
The good news is that I have not decided to abandon the story. But this is to explain why I haven't updated this story in recent months.
1, I haven't really found much creativity in this story. I haven't really found any way I want to adapt the story in this time that I feel would make the story what I want it to be, and I want to give you all a story I can say that I am proud of. Which was a big reason, amongst others.
2, I haven't had much time. I have been dealing with a lot in my life since 2020. I lost a friend in January, my neighbours are so loud I can barely get any work done. I have also just recently lost my horse and it is still a little hard on me.
3, I have also been focusing on my education. I finished the Sixth Form with five A-Levels, and have just started the Open University, which I need to focus much of my attention on.
4, I have been working on other stories. This has helped me focus on getting my creativity out as much as possible, but drew me away from this story.
5, I needed to understand my writing style more. This might seem silly, but I needed to understand what I want my stories to focus on. usually a story I can see some change in, also on what is adaptable in ways I like. It is important to note I have come towards much more mature adaptations of stories. Riddle's Snake, for example, is a much darker, more mature story adaptation of Harry Potter I am actively working on. This has included themes such as alluding to underage sex, though not actively, to help raise awareness about it.
6, My free time is a bit harder to find than before. I am still a member of my Youth Forum but have recently received the position of Chair, meaning I need to be as active as possible, to make the Forum seem as active as possible.
7, I have also been working heavily on Wattpad, as I prefer their mechanics, but am still going to use Fanfictin when I am happy to do so. I have a variation of stories on there, that I am happy to continue working on, and that you can see at TigerRSS15.
These are the main reasons why I haven't worked on this story much. You don't have to worry, I have no intention of abandoning this story this far in, that would be so cruel.
I will try to work on a new chapter and get it out as soon as possible. I am not sure when that will happen, but I hope it will be soon, so what out for that.
I hope you can all forgive me as I have been trying to work on more stuff, and have needed time to work out this story for what I want it to be, not something I would up being ashamed of.
