Kim and Ron stood at their lockers, discussing what Kim found out about the day before.

"We were drugged and for whatever reason it must have been important," Kim said to her best friend. "Drugged?! We're not gonna die are we?!" Ron panicked. "No Ron. If Drakken wanted to kill us we'd be dead already. We're fine. I went to the doctor and everything's clear so we're good."

"Okay great!" "Hey red. Hey blondie," Monique greeted her two best friends. "Hey," they both said. "You guys wanna go to Bueno Nacho after school?" Ron asked. "Sure," Monique said.

"Can't," Kim sighed. "What? Why?" Ron asked with a pout. "Cause I have," Kim swallowed. "Detention."

"What?!" Ron asked. "Kim. No. Cheerleaders never get detention," Monique said.

"I know. You can blame Queen B for that,"' Kim glared at Bonnie as she walked past, chatting away with Tara.

"Oh that's right! I heard about your cat fight," Monique said with an amused expression.

"Please don't call it that." Kim rested her head on her locker. "Oh I'm not. The whole sophomore class is."

"Great,"' Kim groaned. "What's the prognosis?" Monique asked. "Two weeks."

Ron and Monique winced. "Ouch."

"Yeah," Kim said. "But I did the crime so I gotta do the time."

The bell rang, breaking up their little conversation. "I'll see you guys at lunch," Kim said.

•••••••

The day went by pretty quickly and uneventfully. Kim had no run ins with Bonnie. As a matter of fact, the brunette ignored her all day. Not that Kim minded. If Bonnie ignoring her meant no more fighting and no more detention then all the better for her.

After school Bonnie called a cheerleader meeting.

"So for the next two weeks Tara you will be leading practice," Bonnie announced.

"Me? Why?" "Because Kim and I have other arrangements."

"Which are?" "No more questions T just do as I ask."

Tara nodded, sensing Bonnie's irritation.

"Speaking of, we have to go," Bonnie said with Kim following behind her.

"Welcome to detention for all of you who are not familiar with this setting, I will be going over some ground rules. There is no talking, no texting, no gum chewing and no one leaves before 4. Is that clear?" Miss Young, a modern languages teacher asked.

"Yes Miss Young," the students answered in a monotone.

Bonnie rolled her eyes as she took a seat by the window, across from Kim who was seated in the middle.

Bonnie slipped a piece of gum in her mouth and began chewing despite Miss Young's previous rules.

Kim rolled her eyes and checked her watch. It's only been five minutes since she's been in here.

Shortly after, someone entered the room. "Mr. Flagg how nice of you to join us. Take a seat."

Bonnie's eyes immediately went to Brick who sat at the back of the classroom. She wore a sad expression, one that didn't go unnoticed by Kim.

Kim wondered what was wrong. Kim counted the total number of students in detention to be six. She still couldn't believe she was one of them.

Miss Young's cellphone went off, breaking the silence. She stepped outside for a few minutes before coming back inside.

"I have a family emergency so I need to leave. I will be sending in another teacher to supervise in a little bit. No one is to leave," Miss Young said before gathering her stuff and leaving.

Everyone immediately took out their cellphones and started typing away.

Bonnie frowned as she saw Brick's face light up the way it used to when they used to text.

She felt sick to her stomach so she gathered her stuff and was about to leave when Mr. Barkin came in. Bomnie plopped back down in her seat.

Thirty five minutes had passed when Bonnie had enough of watching Brick text with his phone behind his back. A skill she taught him.

"Mr. Barkin I need to use the restroom," she said. Mr. Barkin sighed. "You young people and your squirrel like bladders. Go ahead."

Bonnie rushed to the bathroom, checking to make sure it was empty before she locked herself in a stall and sobbed.

•••••••

Ten more minutes had passed and Bonnie had not returned, not that Mr. Barkin was paying much attention to the students since he had been doing crossword puzzles from the time he came until now.

After he completed another page he looked up and saw that Bonnie was missing.

"Where is Miss Rockwaller?"

"Still in the bathroom," a girl in junior year said.

"You," he pointed at Kim. "Go get her."

"Um with all due respect Mr. Barkin I don't think-"

"Silence Miss Possible. Go find Miss Rockwaller or you're getting two extra days of detention."

Kim's mouth hung low but nonetheless she got up and went to the bathroom.

She froze as she heard what sounded like, crying?

She didn't want to do this. She couldn't. Not when Bonnie hated her.

"Bonnie?" She called. The crying stopped.

"Bonnie I know you're in here. Mr. Barkin told me to come get you."

"Just go away Kim. I'll come out when I'm ready," came the response. Kim sighed. Of course Bonnie would be difficult.

Kim sighed and leaned against the stall door.

"Look I know you hate me but if you want to talk about what's bothering you I will listen." No answer.

"Is this about Brick?" Bonnie sobbed a bit harder. Kim knew she was right. "What did he do?"

"Why would I tell you?" Bonnie spat. Kim rolled her eyes. Bonnie was being so juvenile.

"Cause you'll feel better if you talk to someone and it sure as hell beats sobbing in the girls bathroom. "

After a few seconds of silence, Kim heard a lock turn then the door opened to reveal a teary eyed Bonnie.

Bonnie did the unexpected. She flung her arms around Kim and mumbled unintelligibly into Kim's shoulder.

"Brick cheated on you?" Kim felt bad for Bonnie. Kim wrapped her arms around the sobbing brunette.

"Okay um do you wanna tell me about it?" Kim asked, timidly.

"What?! In here?! No! I would rather eat a deep fried vending machine!" Bonnie screamed.

"Okay well how about we go back and ask Mr. Barkin to leave? You know, tell him you're sick or something," Kim suggested.

"Can you do it? Please I can't have people seeing me like this," Bonnie sobbed.

Kim nodded. She knew image was everything to the Rockwaller girl so she got up and went back into detention without Bonnie. "Miss Possible, wait! Where is Miss Rockwaller?"

"She isn't feeling well so I'm gonna take her home."

Mr. Barkin groaned. "Alright but you and Miss Rockwaller will spend extra minutes in detention tomorrow."

Kim nodded and grabbed hers and Bonnie's stuff.

She went back into the bathroom where Bonnie was still sitting with silent tears falling.

"Okay Bonnie let's go."

Bonnie stood up and took her stuff from Kim.

•••••••••

Kim and Bonnie sat in silence as Kim pulled out of the parking lot. After a few seconds, Kim spoke. "Do you want me to take you home?"

Bonnie shook her head. "Well where do you want to go?" Bonnie shrugged.

Kim decided she was taking Bonnie back to her place. Hopefully it would be empty.
