Kim lied in her bed, staring at her clock that read 6:15. If she wasn't up by 6:30 her mother would come and find her. Despite their talk last night, Kim wasn't ready to face Bonnie. Of course she knew she couldn't avoid the brunette forever but she needed today.
She sighed as it felt like forever before the clock finally read 6:30.
On cue Ann Possible knocked on her daughter's door. Kim lied still and put on her best sick face.
"Kimmy? Why are you still in bed?" Ann asked, concern in her voice. "I'm not feeling too great mom," Kim said.
Ann placed a hand on her daughter's forehead. "You don't feel warm."
"It's my stomach. I must have had something weird last night."
Ann studied her daughter for a moment. Ann was a doctor. A very good one at that but above all she was a mother and she knew when one of her kids was faking sick.
She wasn't sure why Kim was avoiding school today but she had an inkling that it had to do with their conversation the night before.
She would have called Kim out for lying but she decided she would let her daughter stay home but just for today. She couldn't avoid her problems forever anyways.
"Okay honey well you best stay put. I'll make you some tea," Ann said before walking out. Kim released a breath she didn't know she was holding.
She hated lying to her parents and she sucked at lying but somehow she had managed to fool her mother. She knew her mother was right and she had to face Bonnie somehow but not today. She would have taken her mother's advice and just ripped off the bandaid but her mother didn't understand why that was easier said than done. Her mother had just assumed Kim was talking about Josh and Kim let her. I mean, what else could she do? She couldn't tell her mother the truth. She didn't know how her mother would feel about her kissing a girl. Hell, she wasn't even sure how she felt. The thought of her mother looking at her differently because of her sexual preferences scared her so it was better to avoid that conversation altogether.
Ann returned a few minutes later with a cup of tea. She sat watching Kim drink the tea, hoping she would tell the truth but Kim merely finished the tea and continued to act sick.
"I wish I could stay home with you but I have back to back surgeries starting at 9. I will check in with you in between surgeries so keep your phone on." Kim nodded. Ann kissed her cheek and walked out.
An hour later and Kim was home alone with her thoughts. She wondered what Bonnie was doing.
•••••••
Just before first period, Bonnie found herself looking for a certain red head. She spotted Ron at his locker and approached him, scaring away the nerds he was in a conversation with.
"Bonnie?" Ron asked, unsure as to why the brunette cheerleader was at his locker, talking to him.
"Where's Kim?" "She's sick. She texted me five minutes ago."
"Sick? Or maybe she's avoiding me," Bonnie mumbled under her breath. "What was that?" Ron asked.
"Nothing," Bonnie turned to walk away when Ron stopped her. "Why are you looking for Kim?"
"Because if she misses practice it's gonna throw the whole routine off. She has an important role in all the routines." Bonnie groaned. "Great. Now I have to replace her and find someone to replace me."
Bonnie walked away, still not buying the whole 'sick thing'. First she kisses me then a few hours later she just happens to be sick? That seems like way too much of a coincidence.
Bonnie decided she would figure this Kim thing out later.

Kim sat at her desk practicing her math when her Kimmunicator went off.
"What's the sitch Wade?"
"Uh. Shouldn't you be in second period Math now?"
"Wade. What did I say about hacking into my school schedule?"
"Not to tell you about it?" Wade replied sheepishly.
Kim rolled her eyes. "Tell me what's up."
"Turn on the news." "Which channel?" "All of them," Wade said. Kim switched on her tv and put on channel seven news.
"I'm telling you Nancy these giant Robo Coco dolls are plaguing the town. They destroyed most of Smarty Mart already and..."
Before Jackson could finish, a giant robot hand smashed through the ceiling and grabbed him from his seat.
Nancy let out an ear splitting scream before being pulled up by the Robo Coco doll as well.
"You need to get downtown now! I programmed your car's gps to the news station," Wade said. "Should I get Ron?"
"No. I'll be doing this one solo."
Kim hung up, switched her tv off and changed.
She drove off in the direction the gps instructed.
Fifteen minutes later she hopped out of her car that led her to the Channel Seven News Station.
Kim went inside the wrecked news place, fully expecting to see Dementor. Instead she was met by a mass of thick raven hair.
"Hi Princess," Shego said with her back turned to Kim as she played with a remote in her hand.
"Shego? Since when are you working for Dementor?"
Shego turned around. "Since Dr. D is laying low for a while and I got bored."
"You ready?" Shego smirked before pressing the remote, causing the Robo Coco doll to land right in front of Kim, knocking Kim off her feet.
The doll raised it's giant leg and attempted to squash Kim. Kim rolled out of the way just in time and sprang to her feet.
Kim started running and and ducking under the wreckage, meanwhile the doll simply crushed everything in it's path.
"Come on Kimmy you gotta stay on your feet!" Shego cackled.
Kim slid under a table and scrambled to retrieve her Kimmunicator. "Wade?! I need some help. Do you think you can hack into the doll's system and shut it down?"
After a few clicks, Wade responded. "Negative. It's manually operated. You have to get the remote from Shego. Destroy it and you temporarily shut down the doll. Then you can climb onto it's back and remove the red power button to destroy it for good."
"Got it. Thanks Wade," Kim said as she rolled out of the way again as the doll almost crushed her under it's foot.
Kim ran and jumped, knocking Shego to the ground. Kim and Shego fought on the ground as Kim tried to get the remote from Shego's iron tight grip.
Kim knew she was overpowered and she had to think fast. She did the only thing she could think of. She leaned down and planted a quick kiss on Shego's lips.
Stunned, Shego's grip on the remote loosened. Kim snatched it and got off Shego, but no sooner than she did, the Robo Coco doll grabbed her and locked her in an iron tight grip.
Shego snapped out of her trance and jumped up and snatched the remote from Kim.
"You surprised me there Kimmy. You planted a quick one on me. I wasn't expecting that," Shego smirked. "Was that your way of telling me you like me?" Shego teased.
"What? No! I did it to get the remote and I did."
"Yeah but then you lost it so the kiss really was a waste wasn't it?"
Kim struggled in the doll's arms.
"Struggling only makes it worse Kimmy," Shego said as she pressed the button, causing the doll to squeeze Kim tighter.
Kim groaned softly. "Are you gonna crush me to death?"
"Not just yet."
"Then why are you doing this?" "Don't you listen when I talk Kimmy? I'm doing this because I am bored. Doy!"
Meanwhile Shego was talking, Kim was trying to retrieve her laser lipstick.
Kim managed to get the lipstick. She pointed the laser down and blasted the remote.
The doll shut down and releaseded Kim. Kim dropped to the floor and she and Shego went at it.
Kim thought quick and figured she could get Shego to destroy the doll. After kicking Shego off her she jumped onto the doll and did a backflip and landed on the back of the Robo Coco doll.
Shego growled and blasted the doll's back and Kim flipped off. Shego jumped down after Kim.
The back was now exposed. Kim did a front flip and landed on the doll.
Groaning in frustration, Shego jumped up on the doll and blasted after Kim who ducked down, causing the plasma to hit the button.
The doll collapsed, throwing both Kim and Shego to the ground.
Shego rolled over and smirked at Kim. "See you later Princess "
A flash of plasma and Shego was gone.
Kim rubbed her eyes and got up.
She stretched and walked out, hearing applause and cheers.
Kim smiled and waved to the crowd. Nancy and Jackson approached Kim.
"Kim can you do a quick interview?" Nancy asked.
"Um sure," Kim said.
