Kim sat at the table, doing her homework while her mom sat across from her, reading through her medical reports.
Suddenly Kim's ears perked up, hearing her own voice.
"Kimmy you're on the news. But I thought you were feeling sick. How did you stop a giant robot doll downtown?" Her father called from the living room.
Ann raised an eyebrow at her daughter. Kim frowned and went into the family room.
"Yeah I was sick but by midday I started feeling a bit better and Wade called and you know it's not like Ron could do it so I said why not?" Kim smiled nervously.
"Mhmm," James said in a suspicious tone. Kim tried to sneak past her mom and into her room but her mom called her back.
Kim internally groaned. "I knew you were lying to me today," Ann said.
"Wha- How?" "Have you forgotten that I am a doctor and more importantly, your mother?" Ann asked.
"I'm sorry mom. I just couldn't go today."
"What are you so scared of? Remember what I told you last night. It won't be that bad telling Josh you like him."
Kim held her head down. "Hey," Ann touched her daughter's chin, forcing her to look into her eyes.
"You're a Possible and anything is Possible for a Possible," Ann reminded her daughter.
Kim kissed her mom's cheek. "Thanks mom."
"You're welcome Kimmy," Ann said. Kim took her homework up to her room to finish.

Bonnie lied in bed thinking about the news that she watched. She knew the red head didn't just spontaneously fall ill. She was faking it to avoid school. To avoid her.
Well not for long K. Tomorrow your ass is mine. Bonnie thought to herself before falling asleep.

Kim walked to her locker feeling confident and nervous. She had gotten yesterday off which she used to stall and avoid facing Bonnie but today was a new day and she had to face the music. Running away from her problems wouldn't magically solve them. It would only prolong them. Besides hiding was cowardly and if there was one thing Kim was not, it was a coward so she cut her losses and mentally prepared herself for seeing the brunette.
As Kim took books out of her locker she came face to face with Monique. "Hey red. Nice to see that you're feeling better today."
"Yep." "And it's so amazing how you took down Shego and those Robo Coco dolls while battling a tummy ache."
"Yeah well..." "Okay girl spill. Why'd you ditch yesterday?" Monique crossed her arms. "Ditch? I didn't ditch. I told you I wasn't feeling well but I couldn't let Shego and those Robo Coco dolls destroy the place."
Monique quirked an eyebrow at Kim. "You do know I wasn't born yesterday right?"
Before Kim could respond, Ron walked up. "Hey Kim. I saw your interview and heard about your take down which was totally badical by the way!"
"And wasn't it so amazing that she did it all while sick?" Monique asked.
"Yeah. How did you pull it off and without backup?" Ron crossed his arms and his look now mirrored Monique's.
"I um well I uh-" The bell rang. Saved by the bell. Kim thought. "Oops gotta get to class!" Kim said and took off in the opposite direction.

Third period had come around and Kim was feeling a mixture of relief and sadness. Relief at the fact that she had not had any run ins with the brunette but sadness at the fact that as more time passed without any interactions with the brunette was the more she was losing her confidence.
"Hey K." Kim jumped out of her skin at the sound of Bonnie's voice.
"Whoa! Calm down K. I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanted to ask if you were free after school."
"Why?" "To work on our project. I know it's not due for another few weeks but the sooner we start the sooner we finish and we can dedicate our time to more important things like cheer."
"Oh I um can't tonight."
"And why not?" "Cause I have to uh babysit." "Babysit?" Bonnie asked. "Yeah my parents are working late so I have to watch the tweebs."
"Okay. Well how about tomorrow? Surely you can't have to babysit tomorrow right?"
"Um yeah. Right."
"So tomorrow after practice?" Bonnie asked. Kim nodded, suddenly losing her voice.
"Great. See you at practice," Bonnie said as she turned on her heels, swinging her hips as she walked away.
Kim was confused. Bonnie didn't bring up the kiss at all. Maybe she forgot about it? Or maybe she wanted to. Well if Bonnie wasn't going to bring up the kiss, then neither was she.
•••••••
Practice came and it was going good. Kim had not messed up a single routine, neither did any of the other girls.
After they went through the entire routine for the third time, Bonnie called a break. "Okay that was good take five ladies."
All the girls released a sigh of relief as they either went to get water or get some fresh air.
"Hey Kim. Can I talk to you?"
Kim stopped drinking from her purple water bottle. "Sure Bonnie."
Bonnie led Kim into the old equipment room and closed the door. "So what's up?" Kim asked.
"Are we really not gonna address the giant elephant in the room?"
"What do you mean?" Kim asked. Bonnie rolled her eyes. "I mean the fact that my lips and your lips met in an unconventional way."
"Oh," Kim looked down at the old blue mat that laid beneath their feet as if it was the most interesting thing in the world.
"Well? Why did you kiss me?" Bonnie asked.
"I-I," Kim stuttered. "You what?"
Kim dropped down on the mat with her face in her hands. "I don't know okay!"
Bonnie sat down next to Kim. "Kim. Kim. Look at me," Bonnie pulled Kim's face away from her hands. She was surprised to see tears streaming down the red head's face. She had never witnessed the red head cry despite her best efforts.
"You don't have to cry. I'm not mad."
"Y-you're not?" Kim asked. "No. Confused? Yes. Shocked? Definitely but mad. No."
"Oh. Okay," Kim sniffled. After a few moments of silence, Kim asked, "So what happens now?"
"You have to go clean the snot off your face and I have a practice to run so come on," Bonnie stood up and stretched her hand out for Kim to take. Kim took her hand and stood up.

"It seems you might like Princess more than you're letting on Bon Bon," Shego said as she listened in on Kim and Bonnie's conversation.
"It's almost time for the grande finale but you're not there yet. Princess has to fall completely head over heels in love with you," Shego said to herself.
