Chapter 16:
It's been decided that Eddie and Charlotte needed to talk away from everyone for at least 3 hrs now.
"Charlotte, why didn't you say anything?"asked Eddie taking a bite of food at the park.
Charlotte just stares at the food, she just wasn't that hungry for the moment.
"Charlotte, please talk to me. I want to help you"answered Eddie.
"I didn't want to be a burden, know you have to save people its part of your job. Have Christopher to worry about"answered Charlotte.
Eddie kneels down to Charlotte's level. "Doesn't matter Christopher and you will always be there in my life. Can always come to me something is bothering you"answered Eddie.
"Aren't you gonna be late for work?"asked Charlotte.
"No, I have the day off. Carla dropped Christopher at school, she went shopping"answered Eddie.
5 hrs later
Eddie, Christopher and Carla were watching a movie.
"Eddie, how was the talk with Charlotte?"asked Carla.
"It was fine I think"answered Eddie.
"Where is Charlotte right now?"asked Carla.
"Spending some time with rest of the 126"answered Eddie.
Mateo, Judd, Grace, Maddie, Evan,TK, Carlos and Paul were at a local park eating lunch.
Owen was called back to Austin, Texas for some important meeting.
"Wasn't Charlotte supposed to be here?"asked Judd.
TK looks at his phone. "Eddie said that Charlotte should be here"answered TK.
Carlos had his arms around TK shoulders.
"We can still talk and just wait for Charlotte to show up"answered Mateo.
45 minutes later
Alexis McGarrett showed up with Hayden Carson instead.
"Alexis, do you know where Charlotte is right now?"asked Grace.
Hayden looks at everyone whose in the park.
"Charlotte will be running late, something came up"answered Hayden.
"Our daughter isn't in the hospital?"asked Carlos.
"Nope"answered Alexis.
(Max) home
Charlotte was curled against Max on the couch.
"We should get going to the park"answered Sky walking into the media room.
Charlotte stares at Max and Sky.
Jason McGarrett comes walking into the room-with his new pet-Mystic.
"No! I'm not going"answered Charlotte.
Max, Sky and Jason looked at each other.
"Why on earth not? Carlos and TK are expecting you at the park"answered Sky.
"They need time alone with each other and their friends"answered Charlotte.
Jason knew what was going on with Charlotte. "Here, I will take Charlotte with me to the park. We can walk Mystic who needs exercise anyways"answered Jason.
30 minutes later
Still no signed of Charlotte showing up at the park.
Carlos and TK looked at each other, their friends were getting hungry so they ordered food.
"Eddie mention he hasn't heard from Charlotte either"answered Carlos.
15 minutes later
Jason showed up with Mystic and Charlotte.
"Sorry we are late"answered Jason.
"It's fine"answered Mateo.
"Sorry, we gotten hungry"answered Paul.
"Charlotte, we gotten your favorite"answered TK.
Charlotte looks at Jason. "Why are we here?"answered Charlotte.
"We came to walk Mystic at the park, your having lunch with Carlos and TK"answered Jason.
"Nope. Don't bothered driving me home. I'm walking back"snapped Charlotte angrily.
Slowly leaving the group.
Jason groans.
Carlos, Evan and TK gotten up.
"Jason, what is going on?"asked Evan.
"Reason why we are late to begin with. Charlotte didn't want to come here"answered Jason.
"Charlotte believes she is a burden to Eddie, Carlos and TK"answered Alexis McGarrett coming over to the group.
"I better go after her"answered Jason racing after Charlotte.
