Chapter 17:
Christopher knocks on Charlotte closed door.
Charlotte at first doesn't hear Christopher knocking on her bedroom doorway.
Opens her doorway, froze in seeing Christopher standing there. "Is there something wrong?"asked Charlotte.
"Daddy, wants to know what you want for dinner? We are getting pizza"answered Christopher.
"I'm not really that hungry right now, gonna take a shower"answered Charlotte.
Christopher could see that Charlotte was in a lot of pain. "Daddy"shouted Christopher.
Eddie and Evan raced up the stairs.
"Buddy, is something wrong?"asked Eddie.
"Something is wrong with Charlotte"cried Christopher.
Evan pokes his head into Charlotte's bedroom, she wasn't there.
They could hear the shower being turned on.
Maddie came up the stairs. "Carlos and TK are on their way home with the food. Is something wrong, guys"answered Maddie.
"Christopher, said something is wrong with Charlotte"answered Evan.
"It's gonna have to wait, because Charlotte is taking a shower"answered Eddie.
Eddie, Christopher and Evan headed downstairs.
While Maddie knocked on the bathroom doorway.
Charlotte wasn't feeling that great right now, had a huge headache.
Had to sit down in the tub.
Maddie slowly makes her way into the bathroom, sees Charlotte sitting in the tub. "Charlotte, let me help you"answered Maddie.
Charlotte opens her eyes. "Medicine, on my bookcase"answered Charlotte.
Maddie leaves for a moment-goes into Charlotte's bedroom, grabs the medicine.
Comes back into the bathroom.
Charlotte was out of the tub, just sitting down on the towel now.
"Charlotte, here. Do you want to me call Eddie up here?"asked Maddie.
"No! I don't want him up here. He has to deal with Christopher right now"answered Charlotte taking the medicine. Heading into her bedroom.
Maddie heads downstairs, where the others were in the kitchen.
"Maddie, did you get Charlotte to join us?"asked TK.
"I found Charlotte sitting in the tub, had to grab medicine for her. She's in her bedroom"answered Maddie.
Before anyone could say anything else
Screaming could be heard up the stairs.
TK, Maddie, Carlos and Eddie raced up stairs.
While Evan stayed with Christopher.
Charlotte was curled against her bed.
"Charlotte, what happen?"answered Eddie kneeling down to his daughter's level.
"Where does it hurt?"answered Carlos.
"Go away, leave me alone"cried Charlotte.
"Charlotte, we need to know where your hurting"answered TK.
"can't help me"answered Charlotte slowly getting up-laying down on her bed.
Pulling the covers over her, shaking form.
Maddie tells the guys to stay in the hallway for a moment.
"Charlotte, can you tell me?"asked Maddie.
Charlotte looks at Maddie. "Can you turn on the heating pad?"answered Charlotte.
"Sure"answered Maddie watching where Charlotte had put the heating pad on.
"Charlotte, are you getting your period early?"answered Maddie.
"not that I know of. Just have major cramps and a headache right now"answered Charlotte.
"Well you can get those before your period starts"answered Maddie.
"Please, I don't want them to know"answered Charlotte.
"Try to get some rest"answered Maddie leaving the bedroom.
Heading back downstairs.
Where everyone else was eating and watching a movie.
"Maddie, did you find out what's going on with Charlotte?"asked Evan.
"Charlotte doesn't want you guys to know"answered Maddie.
"Why! We need to know so can help her"answered Eddie.
"It's not that simple guys, just watch out for several days"answered Maddie.
"Several days of what?"asked TK.
"Well for starters I'm a girl, I get it each month"answered Maddie.
Carlos finally figures it out, heads up the stairs.
Saw the heating pad-on his daughter's stomach.
Charlotte felt movement on the bed, slowly opens her eyes.
"Go away, leave me be"whispered Charlotte.
"sweetie,shouldn't be here alone. Maddie explained to us what was going on"answered Carlos sitting on the bed.
Charlotte sat up. "Aunt Maddie wasn't supposed to tell you that"answered Charlotte.
TK finds Carlos holding Charlotte in his arms.
"TK, Can you bring the heating pad with you to our room for now"answered Carlos.
"Uh, Sure"answered TK.
Carlos is laying down on his bed-with Charlotte in the middle.
"I figured it out, our daughter might be having her period early. Reasons why she is getting cramps and headaches"answered Carlos.
"But she is only 12 years old"answered TK.
"We will be there, when it starts"answered Carlos.
"What if we are on duty?"asked TK pointing it out to his boyfriend.
"Make sure, Maddie can help with the situation in hand"answered Carlos.
Eddie comes up the stairs. "Christopher just informed me-that Charlotte hasn't eaten anything during breakfast. Not sure if she ate lunch?"asked Eddie.
30 minutes later
Charlotte was curled against Carlos and TK on the couch downstairs.
eating some soup.
