Chapter 23:
There was a raid that had taken place, well it didn't go as well for Charlotte and Riley at all.
Both were brought to the local police station.
Riley takes another cell-phone she had hidden away from the officers who had taken them to the police station.
Charlotte was having another flashback-of what had happen at her 3 foster homes in Austin, Texas.
That was before she was moved to live with Carlos and TK in Austin, Texas.
"Why! Do I see Charlotte Diaz here at my station?"asked Athena Grant Nash.
Officers murmured something about a raid.
"They were there at the raid, we brought them here"answered Officer Carson Felix.
"Where was the raid at?"asked K9 handler Officer Ryan Rivera.
"At the school"answered Officer Maya Summers.
"Riley Scarlatti doesn't even go to school, she was there protecting Charlotte"snapped an angrily voice.
Carson, Maya and Ryan turned around, froze in seeing Crystal McGarrett standing there looking very pissed.
Behind Crystal was Alex McGarrett and NCIS Agent Erica Callen they too were angry.
Racing footsteps coming out of nowhere.
K9 Handlers Melina Wilcox and Officer Carlos Reyes come racing into the station.
"You are to let Charlotte go right now"answered Carlos.
"Why! Should we"answered Carson Felix.
"One! I'm armed and a very pissed off dad right now"answered Carlos.
"Dad! Your last name is Reyes, Charlotte isn't your daughter"answered Carson again.
"Officer Reyes is my foster dad, he was recruited by Crystal McGarrett to join her task force"answered Charlotte.
"You officers had done your jobs right, would know that Charlotte is the daughter to firefighter Eddie Diaz-he found out that information 9 months ago. As for officer Carlos Reyes and his partner TK Strands they are Charlotte's foster dads"answered Athena Grant Nash angrily.
"K9 handler Ryan Rivera may I talk to you alone for a moment?"asked Crystal McGarrett.
"Uh, sure"answered Ryan confused in what was going on at the moment.
14 hrs later
Eddie, Carlos, Evan, TK and Riley who was there protecting Charlotte for the moment.
Where shocked of the news given to them.
That K9 handler Ryan Rivera is Charlotte's biological uncle.
Everyone is sounded asleep in their rooms.
Only problem that Evan and Eddie were called in, because two firefighters were injured on the job.
They left at 11:00 pm that happen.
Christopher was spending time with Eddie's aunt.
So right now it was TK Strands and Carlos at home.
Both of them were in their room sounded asleep through.
Charlotte was having flashbacks of the raid at the school.
She had awaken up during the night, couldn't go back to sleep.
TK was coming out of the bathroom, saw movement in the hallway towards his room.
He went to wake up Carlos from the bed.
Carlos felt TK shove him, he slowly wakes up. "It's 2:30 in the morning. Go back to bed"groaned Carlos.
"Carlos, I saw movement near my bedroom"whispered TK.
Carlos at first closed his eyes.
That's when TK shakes his head-makes way towards the old bedroom he was using before.
That's where he found Charlotte having another nightmare, she was sitting on the floor of his old bedroom.
"Charlotte"answered TK sitting on the floor.
Charlotte shaking again.
"Let me go"shouted Charlotte hitting TK in the chest.
Her shouting woke Carlos up from his bed, he raced into TK old bedroom.
2 hrs later
Charlotte was curled against Carlos and TK in their bedroom.
It had taken both of them to calm Charlotte down for the past 45 minutes.
4 hrs later it happen again.
Charlotte racing out of the bedroom, into Nicholas McGarrett room he uses.
Nicholas was just coming home from a late shift.
He had already taken a shower at the headquarters.
"Nicholas"cried Charlotte.
He was told for the raid by Riley Scarlatti he wasn't at the moment.
"Charlotte, you should be asleep"answered Nicholas.
Carlos ended up getting out of the bed-going after Charlotte.
TK was sort of asleep.
"Nicholas, Sorry that Charlotte woke you up"answered Carlos yawning.
"I was just coming home from a late shift at the headquarters, letting you know that K9 Handler Ryan Rivera has joined the task force team. Your off tomorrow"answered Nicholas.
Carlos speechless of the news given.
Both of them turned to where Charlotte was.
Curled against the bed, by the floor.
Charlotte felt someone picked her up from the floor.
Carlos had picked Charlotte from the floor.
3 days later
TK Strands brought Charlotte to the headquarters where he had a new job now.
K9 handler Ryan Rivera was there with his dog-a German Shepard mix-named Frost.
K9 handler Melina Wilcox was there with her niece-Faith Mitchell-partner-husky-mix named Cody.
There were 3 more police dogs in the headquarters.
One of them belonged to Jason McGarrett he was away on an important job in New York City.
Carlos Reyes was there.
"Carlos, What are you doing here?"asked TK shocked to see his boyfriend at the headquarters.
"We were called in"answered Melina.
