The Flash Armageddon Part 5
"Nice job everyone. Free cheers all around" said Spider-Man.
"That was actually a pretty cool fight." said Yelena
"Thanks for the help Parker." said Barry.
"Yeah no problem" said Peter with a high five.
Despero began to get back up.
"Uh. Guys?" said Doctor Strange as as he turned around.
"Ray? How we doing buddy?" Asked Peter.
"Hurrying!" said Ray.
"I got this" said Kate as she fired an electric arrow at Despero.
He catches it and hits her with a backhand.
"Kate!" shouts Spider-Man.
"I got her" said Barry as he runs to catch her.
Despero then hits everyone else sending them back.
Kate lands in the arms of Barry as he puts her down.
"Thanks." she said.
Doctor Strange then conjured jump pads as Moon Knight and Yelena use them to throw explosives on Despero. Moon Knight throws his Moonerangs as he hits with a kick.
Yelena grabs her baton and splits it into two and starts striking with all her might.
Doctor Strange uses sling ring portals as Moon Knight grabs his batons and joins Yelena in exchanging blows.
Moon Knight leaps and dodges, striking as hard as he could and even sticking some explosives on Despero as they went off. Moon Knight then gets grabbed by the cape, being swung into Yelena.
"Sorcerer" he said.
"You forgot the, "Supreme" part." said Strange.
"Here me Doctor. You possess the power of an Infinity Stone that can see into the future. 10 years from now, Barry Allen causes the destruction of everything he held dear by becoming something worse. Something awful. I am simply here to prevent that from happening." Explained Despero.
"And I'm supposed to believe that?" Asked Strange putting his hands together forging Tao Mandalas.
"Then allow me to show you myself" said Despero as he uses his third eye to get into Strange's head and show him the Armageddon foretold.
"Kid wake up! Peter!" shouts Natasha as he was coming to.
"*groans* did we win?" he asked
"Not yet. Doctor Strange isn't responding." Explained Natasha.
"He's probably using his mind control." said Peter as he then looks over at Barry and Kate.
"Flash! Kate! Help Strange!" he shouts as he spins a web over to help.
"When I say so, go get the wizard" said Kate.
"What are you going to do?" Asked Barry.
"Not miss" said Kate readying her shot.
She has laser focus as she aimed for the third eye. She takes a deep breath and exhales.
"Now!"
Barry uses his super speed as time slowed down. He gets to Doctor Strange as he simply pulls him over to the side. The arrow then slowly reaches over as time resumed with it hitting its target.
Despero screams in pain, being in utter agony.
"Gotcha" Kate said to herself.
Spider-Man then swings into action with a punch that takes Despero down to a knee.
He starts off with a double kick into a roundhouse. Then he hits a spinning back elbow.
Natasha from the Quinjet was watching Peter apply everything she taught him. She watched him apply fast and rapid strikes and a backflip kick.
"That's my boy" she said to herself.
Spider-Man goes to slam Despero's head as he then gets grabbed.
"Such Fury!" said Despero.
Barry goes to run to save him but ultimately gets caught too.
The two heroes get tossed onto a cab.
"You both have put up a valiant effort. I promise to make this as painless as possible." said Despero.
"No!" shouts Peter as he goes to protect Barry.
As Despero goes for the final blow, a figure of cosmic energy came zooming on from the Earth's atmosphere to tank the punch. This was the arrival of none other than Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel as she was powered up her Binary energy. She said with a smile,
"Not. Impressed."
The rest of the heroes and citizens were in awe at Carol.
Carol grabbed the hand of Despero as she uses her strength to take his hand to the side. She floats up and hits him with a powerful push kick that sent him flying.
Despero charges at her going for a punch as she simply side floats as he fist barely touched her as she smiled.
Carol then fired her Photon blast as it hits him. They both then ran into each other as Carol delivers a powerful right hook that sends him flying up to the sky.
"Give him hell" she said on the comms.
Monica Rambeau then entered the atmosphere a she was diving in for the assist.
"This guy still bothering you?" Asked Monica as she blasts Despero back to the ground.
"Carol?" Asked Barry.
"Took her long enough" said Peter.
Despero lands as Carol delivers a punch and blasts his face with a photon blast.
"Let's finish this Monica" said Carol.
The two women then, stood back to back as they both prepared a team up attack.
"Just like we practiced!" said Carol.
"You still never told me where you got this from." said Monica.
"It was from a Cartoon Kamala told me about and I thought it just looked cool.
They put their hands in a Sphere like position to fires one concentrated photon blasts similar in style to a Kamehameha.
Together they blast Despero down for the count with massive wave of Cosmic Photon energy.
Carol and Monica power down as they offer a hand to Barry and Peter.
"Sorry we're late. You guys Alright?" Asked Monica.
"We owe ya one. I'm Barry Allen." said Barry.
"Monica Rambeau" she replied.
"It's a about damn time." said Fury.
Natasha lands the Quinjet as she came out.
Moon Knight, Kate, Yelena and Doctor Strange got back to their feet.
"Nice work Romanoff. You're response team did good." said Fury.
"If you think getting our asses kicked is a, "Did good" then we nailed it without breaking a sweat" said Yelena.
"Hey! Proud of you kid" Natasha said to Peter.
"Thanks. He said wincing after feeling the effects of being thrown onto a car.
Then his spider sense went off as he said,
"Oh you got to be kidding me"
Despero slowly gets back up for another round.
As he then walks over to finish his job, his belt begins to short circuit and malfunction as he's forced to telport away as Ray finally finished sabotaging Despero's tech belt.
"Whatever you did..." said Barry.
"Any time Flash" said Ray.
"Hey! Where'd that thing go?" Asked Iris.
"I don't know" said Ray.
"Barry. We need to have a talk" said Doctor Strange.
