The Flash Armageddon Part 12 Barry Allen speeds into the Hall of Justice after Spider-Man and Doctor Strange gave him a fighting chance to escape from Despero.
The torch Supergirl lit was still burning. Oliver's suit still in it's case. Barry takes off his gloves and his mask as he puts his hands on his chair for the Roundtable of heroes as he catches his breath and panics.
However Barry called in for some help. Jefferson Pierce aka Black Lighting.
"You look like death warmed over" said Jefferson.
"I need your help" said Barry.
"Barry what the hell is going on?" Asked Jefferson.
"Injustice" Barry answered.
Just then a rune appeared as Spider-Man and Doctor Strange arrived at the Hall of Justice.
"Peter?" Asked Barry.
"Jesus he looks even worse than you do. Is he okay?" asked Jefferson.
Peter tears off his mask and storms off.
"Trust me he's not" Strange answered
"I couldn't stop him. I can't beat. Every time I fight him, I CAN'T WIN!" Peter shouts in frustration.
"Parker, it's okay. Just calm down" said Strange.
"I CAN'T CALM DOWN. IF I COULDN'T PROTECT BARRY, I COULDN'T PROTECT, IRIS, CHESTER, CECILE OR EVEN MY OWN TEAM, HOW CAN I PROTECT ANYONE? If I'm not fast enough or strong enough to stop Despero." said Peter as he sits on floor throwing his mask.
"Pete you gave me a fighting chance by putting your life on the line for me and for my friends. Wait is everyone okay?" Asked Barry.
"They're safe Barry. But Despero is still on the hunt for you." assured Strange.
"I was supposed to bring you in to S.W.O.R.D and put you in a cell under Fury's protection. That's not gonna do any good. If Despero is more powerful than any of us how are they gonna stand a better shot?" Asked Peter.
"Parker. I've see you go toe to toe with the literal devil to protect your Aunt May and your girlfriend MJ despite the fact Mephisto was the lord of hell itself and you were willing to risk your life time and time again to protect the people you love and your home of New York.(Read Spider-Man\Doctor Strange: The Midnight Sons)You were outmatched in every sense of the word but that didn't stop that fighting spirit of yours. Now I know you feel that things are hopeless are impossible but you thrive off of that and you become your best when the pressure is on. You and I may see things differently but you always have the will to find a way when there isn't. It's something I've grown to admire about you. A quality that makes you and Barry the best of us." said Doctor Strange.
Jefferson goes over to pick up Peter's mask and hands it back to him.
"I got daughters at home that look up to you. They see someone like you as relatable as they're growing up becoming heroes if their own. It doesn't matter what you think you failed trying to do or what you can and can't do, but what you do now. Right now, we need Spider-Man."
Peter takes his mask as Jefferson helps him up to his feet.
"Peter Parker."
"Jefferson Pierce"
Peter puts on his mask as Spider-Man and Black Lighting shake hands, taking solace that another hero has officially joined the fight.
"Fury thinks I've probably gone AWOL. Odds are he's gonna send people to take us in. We're on our own now." Explained Peter.
Doctor Strange then opens a sling ring portal.
"You're not alone."
Peter, Barry and Jefferson turn to see none other than Black Widow along with some backup in the form of, Yelena Belova, Kate Bishop, Moon Knight, Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and The A.T.O.M Ray Palmer.
