The Flash Armageddon Part 15 The Hall of Justice
"Damn it I...I can't get this last conduit." said Barry.
"You know what um. Sometimes I like to work with a little musical number" said Jefferson.
"Yeah." Barry said as he plays some music.
"Monk? Alright. Trying to impress me" said Jefferson.
"I kinda grew up on this stuff" said Barry.
"Quite the taste." said Monica.
"Joe always had something spinning on the turntable. Miles Davis. Johnny Hartman. Ella Fitzgerald. It's his favorite. Was his favorite." Explained Barry.
"Yeah I lost someone too a while back. Bill Henderson. Actually he was a cop like your old man. We had our ups and downs and all but through it all he was my best friend. Brother. Bill died saving my life so I could get home to Lynn and my girls. Yeah he made that sacrifice. Just like you. Sacrificing a big part of yourself here today. You know I think if Joe was here, I'd think he'd be real proud of the hero you've been. All along." said Jefferson.
"It's been you all along Flash" said Despero in Barry's quick flashback.
"What about you kid? Had anyone you lost?" Jefferson asks Peter.
"I lost both my parents long before I could even remember. My Aunt May and Uncle Ben raised me since then. But ever since I got bit by that Spider, not long after that I got a job as a wrestler trying to earn some extra cash. When I left the venue, I saw people, heard sirens, police tape. My Uncle Ben had been shot and died in my hands. All I wanted to do at that point was find his killer and make him pay. So I found him, tossed him out a window." Explained Peter.
"Did you kill him?" Asked Jefferson.
"No." Peter answered.
"Then what?" asked Jefferson.
"Six months later after I got bit, getting used to these powers, Tony Stark found me through YouTube. He showed footage of me stopping a bus from crashing, beating up bad guys. Told me he needed my help during a time where he and Steve Rogers weren't seeing eye to eye. I go to Germany and fight the Avengers, go home. Stop a guy with giant Vulture wings from stealing Avengers tech. Then I went to space. Fought Thanos, lost, fought him again, had my identity revealed by a illusionist. Had a good lawyer helping me out. Then Barry and Oliver needed my help with something called The Elseworlds(Read Avengers: Elseworlds). Then The Crisis. Teamed up with Batwoman, fought Dracula, stopped Mephisto from invading New York, Went to another world and fought ghosts, fought another ghost from a dark future in New York. Trained with Black Widow and here we are now. Wow that's a real mouthful" said Peter listing his resume.
"Uhhhhhh. Damn kid. So was this Mephisto the Devil you went toe to toe with?" Asked Jefferson.
"The very same one." said Strange.
"And I thought I had it weird." said Monica.
"Never in all my life would I hear that the devil himself walked among us and you would be the one to fight him. Kid you got more guts and heart than I thought." said Jefferson.
"I do it for New York and for the people I love. My Aunt and Uncle, my girlfriend MJ and my best friend Ned" said Peter.
"And then there's you." said Jefferson.
"My mom was in the Airforce. Served with Carol back in the day. In the 90s after Carol stopped a Kree Invasion, she took off for what seemed like forever. When Thanos came, my mother was dying. I got snapped, five years later I found out she passed." Explained Monica.
"So how'd you get your powers?" Asked Jefferson.
"The Town of Westview had a giant hex created by the Scarlet Witch. Me going in and out through that enough times must've unlocked something in my Genes that gave me powers." Explained Monica.
"What about your dad? Where did he fit in all this?" Asked Jefferson.
"He didn't. Well, never did." said Monica.
"I bet your mother was a very strong woman." said Jefferson.
"Of course she was. She was an Airforce pilot." said Monica.
"I bet everyone who's lives you impacted over the years would be proud of the heroes you've become." said Jefferson.
"I got the last conduit. Now when your suit materializes, you'll be able to generate enough to disrupt my Speed Force connection." said Barry.
"I'm getting Gambia a run for his money huh? Alright. Let's go blow this fuse" said Jefferson as he puts the conduit on his wrist.
"Not without me. If this doesn't work, my powers are like Carol's. Absorption based. Maybe I could either help blast it off or absorb it like a sponge." Explained Monica.
"Appreciate it. You both ready?" Asked Barry.
Monica and Jefferson looked at each other.
"Yeah. Let's do it." said Monica.
"Hey Pete. It's gonna be okay." said Barry.
"Yeah" Peter replied.
Barry, Jefferson and Monica take their positions.
"I'm ready." said Barry.
"This is gonna hurt." said Jefferson.
He then charges up as his hands sparkle with massive amounts of electricity
Monica's eyes light up as she powers up her binary powers to full power.
Monica and Jefferson then hit Barry full power with lightning and Cosmic Photons as Barry tanks the damage.
Pym Labs
"I think I'm close." said Ray.
"What have you got Palmer?" Asked Hank.
"I've done this in the past but, I've further advanced nanites that deliver a high frequency pulse that can disable Barry's speed." Explained Ray.
"With an arrowhead?" Asked Hank.
"No. That's perfect. We just need something a little more stronger now." said Janet.
"Something to attach and lock into place by out remote control." Explained Hope.
"I got it! A vest that can prohibit use from thr Speed Force by vibrating at a cellular level to cut off use." said Ray.
"Perfect. I think we can use an old prototype we have in storage as a base. As for those arrows, save them and hand them to thar archer girl." said Hank.
"Got it Doctor Pym." said Ray.
Meanwhile Doctor Strange mediates traversing psychic plane as he goes to keep tabs on Despero.
