The Flash Armageddon Part 17
"LOOK AT WHAT I JUST DID! THE DAMAGE I CAN STILL CAUSE! You all made a promise to keep this world safe!" shouts Barry.
Barry then runs in circles around Jefferson and Peter.
"I am keeping this world safe. By saving one of its protectors!" shouts Jefferson.
Jefferson and Peter get launched in the air as Jefferson catches himself with lightning and Peter swinging back to the ground.
"Okay fine. You wanna ignore the protocols? Now imagine millions dead. ALL BECAUSE OF ME!" shouts Barry as he throws a lightning bolt.
Jefferson then uses his powers to change the momentum to throw the bolt back.
"It's real lightning. You keep it. How about we stop this insanity." Jefferson offered as he extended his hand.
"Do you remember why we call our safety plan Injustice? Because when one of us goes Rogue, the rest of the world doesn't stand a chance." said Barry as he grabs Jefferson and then zooms around the Hall of Justice.
"DOC! Mirror Dimension. NOW!" shouts Peter.
Doctor Strange then conjures the Mirror dimensions as he then begins to warp reality around them. Much to Monica's surprise as she tries not to vomit from vertigo.
Spider-Man then takes his shot as he swings onto Barry with a kick and tussle in a free fall.
"Don't let Barry land on his feet" said Strange to his cloak of Levitation as it goes to blind Barry and keep him in mid air.
As Spider-Man dives he readied the magic from his integrated web shooters as Barry phases out from the grasp of the cloak.
The magic web wraps around Barry as Spider-Man sling shots over.
Monica gets her composure as she flies in to save Jefferson.
"Doc whatever you're doing, you need to take us down back to earth." said Jefferson.
"I'm on it" said Strange as he alters the Mirror Dimension.
During the free fall, Peter and Barry exchanged punches as it was Peter's best bet against a Speedster.
Peter shoots a web ball at his face blinding Barry as he hits with a quick back elbow and a knee thust.
As they both land and Doctor Strange reverts the Mirror Dimension back to normal they fall and get sent flying across the hall with Barry and Peter crashing into the glass case keeping Oliver's suit and bow as it shattered and the suit tossed
Strange along with Monica and Jefferson land as Barry and Peter come to. Peter takes off his mask as he catches his breath and winces in pain.
"Are you both DONE YET!?" Asked Strange extremely upset.
Barry then realizes what he's done.
"Doc. It's okay. I think he's gotten it out of his system." said Spider-Man.
"You think this is what he would've wanted? He told me that before Crisis, Oliver went to the Monitor to trade his life for yours. Now I never met the man so you tell me. Why'd he do that? Because he was afraid? Nah. A man like him? Lays down his life for a man like you for one reason. Because you are the best of us. Oliver Queen wasn't a quitter. He'd never quit on you. So don't you dare quit on yourself." said Jefferson.
"Jefferson. Peter. I'm so sorry." said Barry.
"It's okay." said Jefferson.
Peter sits back up holding his mask and says,
"Don't worry about it. This job isn't done yet. We're gonna finish this and save the world."
"Just tell me this. Where's the future?" Asked Jefferson.
"It's right here" Barry answered.
"Who's life is this?"
"Mine"
"So what are you going to do with it?"
"Live it. By any means necessary."
As Jefferson helps him up, Despero sucker punches Jefferson sending him flying.
"Jefferson!" shouts Doctor Strange.
"I told you Flash. If I ever found a trace of your true nature, I'd end your existence!" said Despero choking Barry to one knee.
"Leave him alone! Barry's innocent. Someone changed the timeline to where someone killed my father and turned Barry insane." said Iris as she arrived with backup in the form of The Still Force.
"You really belive you're telling the truth. How tragic." said Despero as he tighten his grip on Barry's neck and calls forth his thrid eye for the final blow.
"You heard her! Let him go Despero." said Peter.
"We've done this dance on three separate occasions. Do we really need to go a fourth round?" Asked Despero.
"You're not a hero. You're a monster. And I'm going to stop you. Do you know why? Because I'm Spider-Man." Explained Peter.
Jefferson quickly fired a lightning bolt at the third eye of Despero.
Then right on cue, The Quinjet crashes through the Hall of Justice as Natasha and The Avengers arrive just in time.
"AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!" shouts Ant Man leading the charge.
"Hurry! I'll hold him off." Jefferson then holds Despero on place with a lightning Lasso restraining him as did Doctor Strange with the Crimson Bands.
Peter then swings into action as he goes to attack Despero with everything he's got. All his rage all his training from Black Widow. Punch after punch. Kick after kick. Every trick web he had on hand. He even used his taser webs and dialed up the voltage.
"PARKER!" shouts Marc as he throws moonerangs to even the odds.
Monica floats in the air as she charges up a photon blast as did Carol.
Kate fired an explosive arrow that blew up on contact onto Despero and Yelena shot from her gauntlets.
Ant Man, The Wasp, Cassie and The A.T.O.M all at a shrunken size joined the fight as Scott lands bouncing and landing punches onto Despero as Ray, Hope and Cassie offer air support.
Iris goes to help Barry up and tells him,
"You need to go and figure out who's trying to frame you"
The Avengers and Black Lighting kept pouring it on buying more time.
"I need to go to the future. See what really causes Armageddon." said Barry.
Despero begins to fight back as he gets free from the restraints.
"We can't hold him much longer." said Jefferson.
"We got this just hang on!" shouts Natasha firing her gun onto Despero.
"I'm not gonna make it there. I don't have enough Speed Force left." said Barry.
"Well I've got some Still Force" said The Still Force as he snapped his fingers and gave Barry the boost he needed.
"The isotopes will pull you toward any weird temporal activity" he explained.
Despero breaks free from all the restrains. Peter then continued his assault not letting up. Climbing on his back and punching his head.
"Run Barry! Run!" said Jefferson.
Barry opens a breach as Peter then backflip kicks off of Despero and attached a web onto Barry as the two were taken into the future.
"Peter!" shouts Kate.
"You all just killed this world" said Despero as he retreats.
"Where'd that jerk go?" Asked Scott.
"No. The question is where did Barry and Peter go?" Asked Natasha.
Central City, 2031
Barry and Peter tumble onto the street as the breach closed behind them.
"Pete? How did you get here?" Asked Barry.
Peter simply held the web that was attached to Barry.
Barry then walks over to a sign that read, "Robern's/Private Event/West Party"
"This is our next stop. Hang on" said Barry as he speeds him and Peter to the event.
They both enter in street clothes out of their costumes as they hear a voice as if a speech was being prepared.
"If I could have everyone's attention for a moment? I have been waiting for this moment for a very long time. When you find the love of your life. It's like electricity pulsing through your veins giving you a shock that you absolutely never want to end. Because, because now, now you're part of something greater. Part of something wonderful. And frankly surprising because you never know what face fate will be wearing when she shows up, knock at your door and change your life forever. When it does, for you, my wish is that, that face is as beautiful as the one standing right next to me. To Iris West. The love of my life and to our future together" said none other than Harrison Wells aka Eobard Thawne aka The Reverse Flash.
"Who the hell is this guy?" Asked Peter.
The attendees in the forms of Alex Danvers, Ryan Choi, Allegra, Chester, Ryan Wilder, and Cecile turn to see the two.
"What the hell is he doing here?" Ryan Wilder asks.
"Uhhh? He- Hey everyone" said Peter.
Meanwhile Barry locked eyes with his mortal nemesis as he came to the shocking revelation. It was Eobard all along.
