The Flash Armageddon Part 20
The plan jumped into action as Barry made a quick stop to Iris' apartment as Damien, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man waited.
"How'd it go with the misses?" Asked Damien.
"She believed me. Finally. I don't know how that happened but she believes me now." said Barry.
"Actually Doctor Strange can take credit for that. After you guys left S.T.A.R Labs we rounded everyone we could so they can get the full story." Explained Peter.
"Well. Let's go this thing. I'll stay here at your point of origin incase any unwanted visitors show up. We'll be in touch" Explained Damien.
"How? Asked Barry.
"Magic. You'll hear my voice wherever you go. Now remember. You got two minutes to reach Mach 20 and open that temporal portal. As for you two. Mr. Sorcerer and super onesie, you'll need a different ride home." Explained Damien.
"Don't worry. I've got thag covered." assured Doctor Strange.
"Damien. Thank you." said Barry as the two shook hands.
"Get out of here. All of you." said Damien as the other three prepare to go home.
"So uh Barry? What are the consequences of all this?" Asked Peter swinging across Central City.
His question was soon answered with everything around him being destroyed.
"Barry?" Peter asked.
"I'm causing Armageddon bud. It's the only way." said Barry
"Allen if you do this, Despero will come after you. You know that right?" Asked Strange.
"I do. Trust me." said Barry.
Strange and Peter look at each other.
"We gotta trust him kid. Everything will be fine." Explained Strange.
"Alright you reach Mach 20 and then what?" asked Peter.
"The moment the timeline gets reset Strange had to uses his time sling ring portal spell to get back to 2021 hopefully as we left it. Even more hopeful our friends are alive." Explained Barry.
Barry runs as fast as he can trying to beat the clock as time wasn't on his side.
"Guys I can't do it. I'm not fast enough!" he shouts.
"I'm trying to save my daughter here Allen!" said Damien as he was fighting Frost, Chillblaine, A.T.O.M and Alex Danvers.
However Eobard was fast behind him.
"Not fast enough Allen!" said Eobard.
"BARRY! You're Iris' lightning rod. Use that to get us home and save the timeline! I believe in you. She believes in you. We all believe in you. Run Barry RUN!" shouts Peter.
Barry with all his heart uses his love for Iris as the speed boost he needed to reach Mach 20. All the memories they shared were enough to guide him home.
"NOW!!!" shouts Barry.
"Time to go home kiddo" said Doctor Strange as he quickly conjured a time sling ring portal back home to Central City 2021.
Central City 2021
"You're no hero! You're a monster!" said Cecile sobbing.
"I'm going to ask you one last time Miss Horton and if I don't like your answer, you'll join your friends in the afterlife" said Despero as he shows her the dead bodies of The Avengers and Team Flash. Including the likes of Bruce Banner and Jefferson Pierce.
"Now. The Flash. Doctor Strange. Spider-Man. Where are they?" Asked Despero.
"I told you I DON'T KNOW!!" shouted Cecile.
"You know what? I believe you" said Despero as he uses his third eye to deal the final blow until it was interrupted.
"WHAT IS THIS?!" he asked in pain.
It worked! Barry, Doctor Strange and Spider-Man along with the help of Damien Dahrk restored the sacred timeline as everything is reset to normal.
Despero witnessed this first hand as it was just him and it was day time.
Barry zooms in back in his Flash suit along with the time sling ring portal opening as the three heroes arrived back home.
"IT'S OVER DESPERO!" shouts Peter.
"Flash! WHAT DID YOU DO?" Asked Despero.
"We went to the future. Iris was right. Someone manipulated the timeline to drive me insane. Turns out in order to fix it, I had to start Armageddon. Only this time I didn't destroy the world." Explained Barry
"How is that possible?" Asked Despero.
"A Speedster by the name of Eobard Thawne orchestrated the events that lead Barry to madness. The death of his father. To his attack on the city. Eobard played us all like a damn fiddle. Including you." Explained Strange.
"Even you were a pawn in his plan to destroy The Flash. We all fell for it." Added Peter.
"You left 2031 before the world ended. As they said, Eobard Thawne. The Reverse Flash was chasing me. He wanted to stop me from restoring the timeline. The speedway created by us both? That is what caused the destruction you saw." Explained Barry.
"If that's happened, what's stopping you from tearing this world apart?" Asked Despero.
"Iris. She helped me reconnect to the Speed Force. Now the future's safe." Explained Barry.
Despero uses his third eye to verify Barry's claim. He was telling the truth.
"I can see you all belive it to be true. As I travel through time, my senses confirmed that this world has been altered. But as for the true reason, well that remains to be seen." said Despero.
"Well. Maybe you should go to 2031. See for yourself." suggested Barry
Despero activated his belt as he changes to his alien form. But offers a warning.
"I shall. But if you're wrong or I find ant evidence that this world is still on danger, I will return and you will all die."
Despero takes his leave to 2031.
"Yeah well, prepare to be finally proven wrong buddy" said Peter.
"If he comes back, we'll be ready. But for now, let's get back to our friends." said Strange.
"Oh God." Peter's eyes widened as he makes a break to find any soul he can find.
Peter, Strange and Barry see Team Flash and The Avengers having coffee and donuts together.
Barry drops the PED on a table that grabbed their attention.
"Oh hey. Look who's finally here." said Yelena.
"Oh thank god" said Peter as he runs up to Yelena and swings her around in a big hug.
"You okay Parker?" Asked Kate.
Peter then goes to hug Kate in a sigh of relief.
Barry then speeds over to Iris to hug her.
"What the hell is going on?" Asked Chester.
"It appears our friends gave returned Back From The Future." said Marc.
"Uhh. What were they doing there?" Asked Chester.
"Loonng story. Actually, thag reminds me." said Strange preparing his memory restoration spell on Team Flash.
"Hey kid." said Natasha.
Peter looks up and sees Natasha as the two share a hug of relief.
"I'm so glad your back safe. We all are. I'm sure the adventure you had, I couldn't be more proud of you." said Natasha.
"Despero. Where is he now?" Asked Carol.
"Gone to the year 2031." Explained Strange.
"And Thawne?" Asked Ray.
"We don't know. But now we know he's been the one behind it all since the beginning." Strange answered.
"I'll contact Fury. This is gonna be a long conversation." said Carol.
"Thawne's back huh?" Asked a concerned Scott.
"You okay Scott?" Asked Hope.
Scott looks over at his daughter Cassie.
"No. No I'm not" he said remembering his last encounter with The Reverse Flash(Avengers: Crisis On Earth X).
"Well lucky for us, we still have some tools to take him down once and for all. Courtesy of the Pyms/Van Dynes." said Ray.
"Something tells me that this is far from over" said Monica.
"No. We're in the Endgame now." said Barry.
"Thawne or Despero shows back up we'll all find a way to defeat them." said Cecile.
"This still all hands on deck?" Asked Allegra.
"I'm afraid so. Khonshu tells me that Peter and Barry have encountered the likes of Batwoman, Alex Danvers and Ryan Choi as The A.T.O.M." Explained Marc.
"Wait. Ryan Choi is the new A.T.O.M? Oh that's so cool!" said Ray.
"Not in a way you'd think Raymond. In the timeline Eobard created, you die along with Cisco and some of your fellow Legends." Explained Marc.
"Marc is right. Thawne created a Reverse Flashpoint in where he became me. It took the help of Damien Dahrk to save the timeline.
"For now it's a problem for another time. Today we celebrate the restoration of the timeline." said Kate.
"Iris. Do you mind if I call Joe?" Asked Barry
"Sure." she answered as she hands him the phone.
"Hey Pete! How about some a donut. Think you at least deserve that after you and Barry's excellent adventure." said Natasha.
"Did you just try to parody Bill and Ted?" Asked Chester.
"Maybe" she answered
Peter takes off his mask as he takes a moment of relief knowing his friends are alive once more.
Elsewhere a red lightning streak enters the time vault as Eobard Thawne in his Reverse Flash suit goes for the computer.
"Nobody. Uses time. Against me. I will live. I will change what's about to happen. And you will help me!" said Eobard as he activated the console as his eyes light up red and voice changes.
