"MALFOY!" The woman said loudly. The pale girl stood from her spot in the crowd, her platinum blonde hair perfectly pinned as her dress elegantly caressed her curves. Gasps erupted in the crowded area, people shocked at the sight of the young- well not so young anymore, Malfoy.

"Very well."

Narcissa Malfoy nervously fidgeted from her spot at the top of the stairs, a smile plastered on her face. Her young son stood next to her as he glanced around the room, he was dressed in an all-black suit, a white tie tied perfectly, and his hair was perfectly slicked back.

Narcissa started picking at her deep green ballgown. It was covered in jewels, was floor-length, and extremely uncomfortable, but she was beyond used to it. "Stop mother." Draco hissed, looking down at her fingers that were tugging at one of the loose strings on her dress. Immediately she stopped, quietly thanking her son for reminding her once again before her husband had seen her.

"Can you do something for me, my dear?" She questions, taking a step forward as she catches sight of her husband again. She had left his side only for the fact that he had told her to come to bring their children down. Draco of course was already ready and waiting by the door, but it seems as though her daughter was taking longer than she should, as usual.

"Of course."

"Please go see what's taking your sister so long." She said, leaving her sons' side as she walked towards her husband, nodding he did just that. This entire party was meant for Draco and her she might as well come and give everyone the honor of seeing her.

You see, while he got into Hogwarts, the amazing (and famous) wizarding school that his father had gone to when he was just a boy. His twin was forced to finish her studies at home. She was well known, being the daughter of Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, and was to be married off when she came of age. On top of all of that, she managed to be top of her classes in everything and be a part-time model. Being only eleven years old, she couldn't do very much in the modeling industry, and as much as his father despised her working for muggles, she still did so, giving her not only a name in the wizarding world but the muggle one too.

In a week's time, he was going to be leaving for Hogwarts, and she was going to be sent to a boarding school not too far from their mansion. Knocking on her door, he waited for a few moments before entering. "Regan?" He calls out. Her room was clean as always, little trinkets scattered around (Their mother couldn't stop her from getting those, which was the only reason she has them.)

The only reply he gets is a squeak as his twin sister tumbles through the closet door, landing at his feet. Scoffing he holds his hand out for her to take, which she gladly does. Smiling sheepishly she rubs the back of her neck before wiping off the nonexistent dust on her dress. "Haha...sorry Drac." Turning away from her twin she looks at herself in the mirror, clipping up her platinum blonde hair, her ice-blue eyes scanning up and down Draco's suit. "You look nice." She comments.

"You don't look too bad yourself Reg." Though his tone is sharp; and slightly harsh, Regan knew that that's just how Draco complimented her. She did look nice, their father had specifically picked this outfit for her, saying "Fine, it will look perfect, you might not be an embarrassment in it." Real-life quote from Lucius Malfoy, right it down kids.

She was dressed in an elegant emerald green dress with half sleeves and went down slightly past her knees. Not over-the-top like their father had originally wanted, but Draco was the one leaving, not her. After a long argument, which was common between the two in the house, Lucius agreed to allow her to wear the dress as she wanted.

Scowling at herself as her platinum locks fell back down her back she huffs, putting the clip back down on the table as she glares down at it, tugging her hairbrush through it. Draco tsked, pulling her hand and the hairbrush away from her hair, cupping the soft locks in his pale hands as his twin observes him through the mirror. Picking up the sapphire clip he puts it in her hair, taking a step back from Regan as she smiles, touching it softly.

"Don't touch." Draco scolded softly, a small smile of his own appearing.

"Thank you." She murmurs, turning to actually look at him. "Oh!" She exclaimed, her eyes widening as she rushed past him towards the door. "We have to go downstairs now!"

Draco rolls his eyes, but nonetheless follows after, softly closing the door behind him.

Back downstairs, Narcissa nervously glanced around, her eyes skipping over everyone there in an attempt to find her children. It was obvious that she was anxious, and it had started to tick off Lucius. Not only that, but it seemed as though now it wasn't just Regan missing, but Draco too. "Where are the children." He hissed through his teeth, walking towards one of the waiters with his wife so people got the memo to just leave them alone.

"T-Their coming downstairs at the moment, dear." She said reassuringly, though she herself didnt believe it.

"Don't worry mother, we're both right here," Draco said, a tense smile on his face as the twins appeared seeming out of nowhere. Both neatly dress, everything in its place; perfection. Lucius looked both of them up and down, scoffing at the sight of his grinning daughter and monotone son.

"Good, go do whatever you do at these parties, Regan. Draco you stay with me."

"Yes Sir." They both said, and Regan patted her twin on the back sympathetically before walking off into the crowd, leaving the three on their own.

As Regan walked through the crowd a growing glower formed on her face. Her brother was leaving her. She knew it was necessary, that it would maybe finally bring their father great pride, maybe he would stop being a huge jerk to everyone all the time. But he was going all the way to Hogwarts...away from her. She was selfish, she knew she was, wanting her brother to stay with her over going to the school they both had been aiming to get into for years.

Sitting down at the chair in the corner, the one she had specifically put there for herself earlier that day, she pouted, beginning to let her thoughts and emotions brew. Draco had been excitedly (And passionately) babbling on and on to her for a week now ever since he had gotten his acceptance letter. Even going as far as traveling to the human cities and visiting her while she was on set.

Naming all the houses and questioning her frequently- fifth-six times she believed, about which house he should get into. Which wizards and witches he would meet and befriend there. Which teacher would be his favorite and which ones would scare him. He had all these questions, all these questions that she couldn't answer. She had to admit, she was slightly jealous of his thirst for knowledge about this famous wizarding school. She had nothing in her life like that, nothing to give her anything to ponder about into the late hours of the night.

Getting up, she figured she might as well go give some of the other children who had also been forced to attend some company. She would do the same for the old people, but they scared her.

Regan Malfoy sat at her spot on the roof of her mansion, there was a small nip in the air, now that it was nearly September and fall was quickly approaching. But that didn't detour her much in the end. She couldn't go back down to the party, earlier she tripped over one of the younger children and somehow managed to rip her dress. She would go back down when the guests had begun to trickle out of the mansion and the rest were kicked out.

Laying down on the black tiles she stared up at the sky, clouds had begun to crowd the sky, threatening to drop the little water droplets in them. It wasn't clear, yet she still managed to somehow see the new moon. It was an astounding sight that she got the feeling she was going to be seeing a lot more.

Now that Draco was leaving, she would be more alone now than ever. Closing her eyes, she didn't even shift when footsteps were heard on the roof a few feet away from where she lay. "Enjoying the fresh air?" Draco asked, a small smile on his face as he lay next to her.

"Hmm,"

He chuckles, rolling his eyes, but the grin still on his face nonetheless. Lacing his fingers through hers he stared at her face. "Will…" He paused, as though contemplating what he was about to say, "Will you be alright on your own, Reg?" He said softly, watching as his sisters' eyes opened, wide with shock.

"What?" She numbly questions, shifting her body to look at him. He had never questioned whether she wanted him to go, whether she would be okay.

"Will you be okay with me all the way at Hogwarts, Regan?" The girl bit her lip, her pale blue eyes staring back into Draco's grey ones. They lay in silence for a few minutes, before Draco finally broke the silence with a hushed, "Well?" As though it was an untold secret between only the two of them.

"I...I," She mumbled, gulping down some of the rising bile in her throat threateningly. Looking away from the other platinum blonde now sitting up next to her. How was she supposed to answer that? If she said yes then she would be lying to him, but if she said no he would be worried. Why is he asking? Sending a bright smile towards him she grinned, nodding in confirmation.

"Yeah!"

Regan sniffled, watching Lucius Malfoy stare down threateningly at her twin. They were at King's Cross station, platform 9¾. Draco was about to get onto the train, which would quickly chug him towards Hogwarts. Away from her. Motioning his head towards Regan, Lucius finally allowed the twins to say their farewell, though it was a rather mediocre one compared to one that it could have been if Lucius's goodbye (aka warning) had been after hers.

Smiling sadly the terrified blonde held his arms open as his crying twin barreled into him, her cries becoming muffled from the thick fabric of his school robes. Earlier that day when his robes had come from the cleaners he had been beyond hesitant to put them on. The fabric looked hot and heavy, but surprisingly, they didn't feel that bad. Heavy; but not all that hot. "Reg…" He mumbled, pulling away from the girl whose arms just stubbornly stayed wrapped around his waist. "Reg...you've gotta let go."

"No," She mumbled, wiping her nose but still stepping back anyways. "You better write to me, Draco-Dragon!" She demanded, sniffling again as she put her hand to her hip while the other held a stern hand out in front of Draco accusingly.

He chuckled, putting his hands up in mock defense as he smiled brightly at his queer sister attempted to grin at him. Ruffling up her hair he kissed her forehead softly, before pulling her back into a hug, squeezing her tightly to him before pulling back. "I will your Majesty, worry not." Sending another grin her way, he waves, walking off and into the train, not looking back once, Regan was thankful for that though. For if he had he would have seen the tear fall down her cheek. Turning away from the train Regan clenched her fists, not daring to look at her father. "Well Hunny," Narcissa said quietly, "We'll be waiting by the entrance, you take your time, okay?" Putting her hand on her daughter's shoulder, she chose to ignore her husbands' fierce glare. All Regan could reply with was a dull, numb nod, not looking up from the platform cement as the train let out a loud CHEW CHEW! Signaling that the train was to leave in a few minutes. In a way, she knew she was making a fool out of herself by only nodding, and would be reprimanded once they reached home, but for now, it did not matter to her all that much.

Narcissa smiled sympathetically at her daughter, giving her shoulder a squeeze and reassuring pat before walking away, dragging a glowering, furious Lucius with her. Looking up from the platform she glanced over at the red train. The bold letters were printed across the deep red train, HOGWARTS EXPRESS, clear and concise, exactly as she had expected; exactly as she had seen in the pictures Draco had shown her. So why...did it feel so different? Why did her chest - no her heart - hurt?

Before she could process what was happening she was stumbling forward with a squeak. Her black boots left the ground as she stumbled forward a few steps. Glaring up to the person on the ground, she looked down to see that it wasn't only she that had fallen, but the assaulter too.

Huffing, she glared at him, her blue eyes turning icy as he quickly stood, ignoring her. Standing up with yet another huff she wiped the dust off of her skirt. "Hey!" She yelled offensively, pointing her hand at him like a crazy person. She wasn't crazy...she really wasn't! The male turned back around to her, his bright grey eyes meeting hers with a strong force. Taking a step back she nearly lost her nerve to yell at him for tripping her then running off like it didn't happen.

"A-Ah yes?" He stuttered, biting his lip anxiously as he pushed some of the shaggy birth-blonde hair from his forehead.

"U-Um...well uh.." She stuttered, stumbling over her words like a fool? Why am I acting like this? She questioned herself silently.

"Oh Merlin!" The male suddenly says, his eyes widening in realization as the train lets out a loud CHEW CHEWW! Again signaling that the train left in exactly one minute. Looking over the girl he sees the scrape on her hand and the dust on her skirt, realizing immediately that he had tripped over her. "I am so, so, so sorry!" He said quickly, his words mumbled and mushing together in a mess that Regan could barely decipher herself.

The male rushed over to her, and she couldn't help the feeling that time had slowed down quicker than she thought imaginable. Softly he patted her head, smiling down at her, he was a couple of inches taller than her, and his grey eyes stared down softly at her as he cheekily smiled. "I'm sorry for tripping you, I would give you a better apology, but if you can't see for yourself, my ride is about to leave." Regan looked down, suddenly coming to the realization that he was wearing the Hogwart school uniforms- the heavy-looking robes.

"Oh Merlin, I'm dearly sorry too! It was childish for me to get so angry at you for tripping me, go, go. I won't be bothersome anymore!" She gushed, her cheeks inflaming from embarrassment. He chuckled, sending her another one of those smiles that she adored- wait...adore? Since when has she ever adored someone's smile!?

Before she knew it his touch had vanished, and he was catching up to his friends (Who were waiting not-so-patiently) and sent another amazing grin her way, then a large wave as the train began to pull out of the station.

All Regan managed to do was a small awkward wave as her face burned, but this time, instead of feeling the stinging that usually went along with it, she felt beyond happy.
