The following morning, Jaune was getting ready to head to Beacon to speak with Ozpin. While changing, he heard a knock in the room. He knew it wasn't either Saphron or Terra. They don't knock in the room since it is theirs as well. It could only be either Willow or Whitley. When he told them to come in, the one to enter was Willow.

"Is there anything that I can help you with, Willow?" Jaune asked. Then he remembered that he was getting changed. "Oh, give me a moment to get clothed, then we can talk".

After putting on all his clothes, he asked Willow to come in.

"Jaune, I spoke with my eldest daughter, Winter," Willow said. "She told me that she couldn't get General Ironwood to speak with us now due to important matters. However, we would have a chance to speak to him when he arrives here in Vale within two months for the Vytal festival".

"So? Do we do our second idea?" Jaune said jokingly but half-serious. "Because I'm down to give him a lesson of a lifetime".

Willow playfully hit Jaune on his shoulders.

"It's only two months," Willow said. "I've been working longer than that to take him down. Waiting two months isn't much".

"Alright," Jaune said. "It's your fight. It's your choice".

"Are you heading out already?" Willow asked. "I thought you would have an hour more before the time you usually leave".

"I need to speak with Ozpin regarding a trip I'm planning for the people I'm training," Jaune said. "I need his approval since the students would be gone for a week".

"So, this trip is for the team with Weiss in it, right?" Willow asked. "I don't think I ever see you training other students besides the seven".

"Yeah, I'm planning survival training," Jaune said. "It's a way to hone their survival instincts".

"It's going to be safe, right?" Willow said. "Please tell me it's safe".

"Define…safe," Jaune said. "If you're wondering if they'll be alright, then yes. I'll be there to make sure that everyone is".

Willow believed Jaune's words. He hasn't lied to her. She has no reason to distrust him. Jaune then made his way to Ozpin's office. Once there, Jaune sat down and waited for Ozpin to finish his coffee.

"So, Mr Arc," Ozpin said. "Is there something you need from me?".

"Yeah, that's why I'm here," Jaune said. "Jokes aside, I'm here to tell you that I plan to bring team RWBY and PRN on a survival training. It would take about a week".

"Hmm…" Ozpin was thinking. "Where would this training take place?".

"Somewhere special," Jaune said. "It would be in a place that they can learn to hone their instincts for survival, like a forest or desert".

"I can see the benefit of such training," Ozpin said. "I can agree to this. However, I would like you to bring a few people to help you monitor the students. I would like you to bring Glynda, Qrow and Amber. If you can agree to this, then you can proceed with your plans".

"That's actually great," Jaune said. "This way, I can separate the teams into a group of two".

"But you only have seven students," Ozpin said. "One of them would be alone".

"I know," Jaune said. "And that's perfect".

"Alright," Ozpin said. "When will the survival training start".

"This weekend," Jaune said. "It would give them time to prepare".

Ozpin understood, then he told Jaune to speak with Goodwitch to coordinate with him for the training. Jaune made his way to Glynda's office, there he saw that she was swamped with paperwork. When Glynda looked up and saw Jaune, she was surprised since the day he started working a Beacon, Jaune has never needed help other than finding his way.

"Is there anything I can help you with, Mr Arc?" Glynda said. "This is quite a surprise. You normally do not need any assistance".

"You look busy," Jaune said. "I can come back later".

"Nonsense," Glynda said. "I have time to speak".

"Okay then," Jaune said. "I'm planning survival training for RWBY and PRN. This has been approved by Ozpin. However, he only approved it as long as I bring you, Amber and Qrow along with me. Then he told me to speak with you so that we can coordinate what we need to do".

"I understand," Glynda said. "I need to finish my work first before we can talk about the details of the training. As you can see, I have a bit to do".

"You know," Jaune said. "I have something that can help with that".

"That would be lovely," Glynda said. "What is it?".

Jaune then asked Glynda to move a bit. He then plugged something into her computer and installed a program.

"There you go," Jaune said. "I installed a personal assistant for you. Her name is Friday. If there is anything you need, Friday can help you".

"How would this help me with my paperwork?" Glynda asked. "I need to personally to each one".

"That's the beauty of Friday," Jaune said. "All you have to do is tell Friday what you want to write, and she would fill it in. This way, you won't get tired of writing or typing it on your own".

"That's…quite something," Glynda said. She understood that Friday would be pretty helpful with her work. "This kind of program would be quite complex. It would have taken a long time to make it. Why are you just giving something so valuable?".

"I saw that you needed help," Jaune said. "And I have something that I do not use, might as well give it to someone that has a use for it".

"Thank you, Jaune," Glynda said. "I'll see to it that I complete my paperwork so that I can help you with the survival training. I'll also contact Qrow and Amber to make sure that they are informed of their task".

"Thanks," Jaune said. "Do you mind if I get your number? It would be quite helpful so that I don't have to come here every time I need something. Not that I mind coming here to see you in person".

"Not a problem…Here you go," Glynda said. "If you need anything from me, don't hesitate to message me".

Jaune nodded then made his way to RWBY and PRN's dorm room to bring them to his training ground. Once they started their training, Jaune was thinking about how to divide them into a group of two. However, he thought it would be best to work with their partners.

A few hours later, half of RWBY and PRN's training was done. Jaune told them he wanted to speak with them about moving their training to the next level. Hearing this, they were all excited.

"For the next phase of your training," Jaune said. "It will be survival training. At the end of the week, all of you are coming with me to train and hone your instincts. There will be other professors coming along, and they are Amber, Glynda and Qrow".

"Uhm…When you say Qrow," Ruby said. "Do you mean Qrow Branwen?".

"I do," Jaune said. "I believe he's yours and Yang's uncle".

"He is!" Ruby said. "Oh! This is exciting!".

"You know, Ruby," Nora said. "This is Jaune we're talking about. I bet the survival training will be difficult".

"That it will be, Nora," Jaune said. "The place we are heading to is special. So, I want you to physically and mentally prepare for this training".

"Excuse me," Weiss said. "Is there anything we need to bring for this training?".

"Nope!" Jaune said. "You will not be preparing anything. Everything you'll need will either be made by your own hands, or you will find it in the wild. Remember my words now, do not bring anything with you, because if you do and you use it, it would be against the training, and you will be punished".

Everyone besides Ren and Nora gulped at the notion of not having clean clothes. However, they saw that Jaune was smirking, and they knew that something was up.

"Is there something we need to know about this place you're taking us?" Pyrrha asked. "Maybe we can do a bit of research on it".

"Oh, I highly doubt you'll find anything about the place," Jaune said. He then thought. 'After all, it's not on Remnant. I wonder how they will react once they figure out that it's not on Remnant".

The excitement that they felt earlier, knowing that their training was moving to the next phase, was gone. Now, they felt shivers done their spine. They don't know what the training would entail, but they knew it would be more challenging than anything they've been through. RWBY and PRN decided to take Jaune's suggestion and prepare mentally and physically for the survival training.
