"This is all we need, why couldn't he just die on some rock in space!" Sonic I do wish you wouldn't shout especially when you are sitting next to me.
"We do not know if it is even him or a different species all together. I am sure the Black Arms are not the only aliens out there that live on comets." Tails has a point but the likelihood it is not the Black Arms is very slim.
"Here's to hoping it is not and it just passes with no trouble." That is it my love, think positively.
"We came as quickly as we could!" You called Rouge and Knuckles here too I see. I do not see why you called them Sonic, we don't have any hard evidence it is Black Doom on his way.
"Yeah and you can count on us to help fight them off our planet, again." Knuckles I did all the fighting last time.
"Say Shadow, you are looking pretty calm over this news." Sonic I am everything but calm. I just do not wish to make you feel worse by witnessing just how scared I am right now.
"Is there any reason I should not be at this moment? We do not know for sure if it is him so why get worked up about it before we know." My logic cannot be denied my love.
"We could find out right here, right now." Rouge I will not.
"Yeah and how can we do that Rouge?" I thought Sonic knew I could sense Black Doom and his army when they are close.
"Want to explain Shadow or shall I?" Rouge you mentioned it so go right on ahead or maybe it might be best if I do.
"Sharing the same DNA has it perks, I can sense when they are close. Downside is they can do the same with me and will always know where I am. If you want me to see if it is them then I will but be warned, it will mean I will gain access to the hive mind therefore the link I share will get stronger." Please do not make me do this, I do not want Black Doom getting into my head during my weakened state.
"Didn't you win the mind games with him and stopped him from controlling you?" Knuckles yes I did but that was how long ago and do you see the state I am in? I am not exactly at peek mental health here.
"Yeah that's right you did so it shouldn't have risks of Black Doom getting back into your mind because you can block him." Tails not you too.
"I am not sure it is that simple, Shadow has been through a lot lately and might not have the strength to block Black Doom out." Thank you Rouge, I am so glad you said that.
"True but we need to know if he is here for round two so we can better prepare unlike last time." Sonic I agree with you yes but this is my freewill we are talking about here.
"I guess you make a point Sonic and I suppose with Shadow in the condition he is in he wont be of much use to Black Doom." Oh thanks a lot Rouge, thanks for mentioning I am useless to all.
"So can yah babe, can yah see if it is him so we can prepare? Maybe you can try and find out what his intentions are by getting into his head." I don't think it is that simple but it wont hurt to try.
"Fine just don't get mad at me if he does break me down and take over my mind."
Ok concentrating, concentrating…feeling nothing yet…oh crap.
"Shadow you wait until I…what happened? No do not answer I will look and see." Gross I can feel him in my head, I hate this feeling.
"Shadow, babe what's the matter?" Gross, gross, gross.
"I-it's him…h-he is in my head." Happy now? I hope you all are very happy.
"Hey don't look at that!" Oh my chaos I cannot believe he wanted to know that, how embarrassing.
"So you and that blue hedgehog. I do not approve of this Shadow and I do not like the fact it is his fault you are like this." Chaos sake, it is not his fault, it is my own.
"Do not use that tone in your head at me!" Yeah well do not shout at me.
"I will be seeing you very soon." Oh great but at least he has left my head.
"Well congratulations, you got your conformation and now I am in trouble. I hope you are all very happy." I know it is not there fault but they wanted this so yeah not going to pretend I am happy about this new situation.
"In what way, he coming to ground your hedgehog ass?" Shut up Sonic this is not funny.
"No he is coming down to ground your ass for he believes it is your fault I am like this and not in perfect health. He is going to kill you and there isn't a single thing I can do to stop him!" Yeah I am panicking, so there is a reason you all should be very concerned right now.
"It was my fault though." Oh Sonic, no, please do not get sad. Come here and have a cuddle, that's it, let me comfort you.
"Not your fault my love ok, we have been through this many times. The fault lays with me for not stopping time and just running over to you like I did." Please do not cry, it pains me to see you cry.
"I better contact GUN about this, Towers will only get upset if not informed the Black Arms are back." Rouge I am not sure that is wise.
"I don't think we should just yet, he might cause things to escalate in a very dangerous way." Please Rouge just don't tell him yet.
"Shadow he needs to prepare his men so I have to tell him your father is here and has plans to come down." Rouge this is a very bad idea but it is not like I can stop you.
"Do it Rouge, they will need the extra prep time." Why do I even bother voicing my concerns if I am always ignored and end up having my own boyfriend back someone else up?
"Right, I'll let you all know what Towers plans to do and do not look so worried Shadow. I am sure he wont do anything to you. Bye all." Sure he wont Rouge and I am sure he will not once think about having me locked up so I am harder to get to.
"Does he have an agenda?" Knuckles he does, were you not listening?
"Yeah to come down to this very house to kill Sonic and take me away for some correction whatever. I don't know what that means but I can take a guess it wont be pleasant."
"I think he meant does Black Doom plan to collect the emeralds and invade the planet." Tails, for all I know he could be planning that.
"Apart from wanting Sonic dead and me corrected, I don't know. I would assume he plans to try again, why else come all this way, but I don't know for sure." I will not go looking into his mind so no one ask please.
"So it will be worth collecting the chaos emeralds in order to keep them away from him." Don't know Knuckles, might make things easier for him if you do.
"The chaos emeralds are hidden away all over so I say leave them be for now. We wouldn't want Black Doom to have it easy. He did after all need Shadow to go get them the first time round and might need someone to get them this time too."
"Sonic is right, why make things easier for father, er I mean Black Doom by revealing the chaos emeralds from their location." Did I seriously refer him as father?
"You ok Shadow? He isn't in your head right now right?" So suspicious Knuckles.
"No." And that is all you are getting from me.
"You sure Shadow?" Tails you get the stare for that, oh yes it is very scary huh.
"Ok Shadow, we trust you." The stare never fails, unless you are Sonic then it is fifty-fifty.
"Babe stop making Tails uncomfortable." Fine only because I got my point across.
"Do you want me to continue to remove the lockdown system?"
"Might as well since Eggman can hack it easily." Wow you still pissed about that love.
"It wouldn't matter if it was up or not anyway. It doesn't block chaos control from being used so why have it up." This is true and I'm kind of wishing it did right now, father doesn't sound happy…damn it all why am I calling him father for?
"Is there anything I can do? If not I should get back to the Master Emerald, I don't want it in those alien scum hands." Alien scum right here you know Knuckles.
"How charming, I must be scum too huh."
"Hey babe, don't take offence to that, Knuckles didn't mean you. Knuckles right now there isn't anything anyone can do so you go and make sure no one gets the Master Emerald." I am sure he didn't but I cannot help to be offended since I share their DNA.
"Call me if anything." Yeah off you go echidna, I don't want to see you right now especially since you didn't even apologise for offending me.
"I'll just go and continue removing that system. the quicker I get back to doing it the quicker it is done and Eggman cannot lock us in here."
"Wait up Tails, I need a word with you. Wont be but a minute love ok." Great, left alone once again and I wonder what Sonic wants to talk to Tails about?
"You are never truly alone Shadow." Figured it wouldn't take long for you to spy on me and then wait for me to be alone to telepathically talk.
"I am surprised you are not curious to what happened to me or what I have been doing." It is not all that hard to figure out. You lived, hitched a ride then began to rebuild your numbers to come back for round two.
"Amazing how quickly you worked all that out but round two will have to wait. Finding out of your condition has set things back for now." Then why bother still come for? I am useless to you, to everyone, so just leave.
"True your legs are out of commission but I can fix that. I can heal them for you with little effort on my part." Come again? Hey don't just drop that bombshell and then leave.
"What did you mean you can heal me!"
"Shads, love, who are you talking to?" Oh great, he is going to over react and think I am going to make a deal with father…damn it!
