A deep breath, followed by a soft sigh, was all that was heard in the room where stood three brothers, until-
"Laugh for now, but the day shall come when power is mine. And when that happens, I will crucify you from the knees and elbows, take a nail clipper, and peel your skin from right under the eye sockets before slurping your arteries. Your screams shall be my lullaby, and your tears my water."
Such were the words of a certain green clad merchant with a deranged gaze, looking as if poison was dripping down his face.
" Um... Garfiel, I think you should give him his hat back"
"Good idea Cap'n" The blond boy answered. The threats had clearly affected him despite their source, but also because of their source. As weak as Otto was, Garfiel was almost certain that he had had the sanity chewed out of him by the Sizeable Hare. Some could guess Subaru's reaction when Garfiel told him about his theory.
Having gotten his hat back, the previously murderous Otto's face beamed with delight as he left the room to get to work. As Head of Internal Affairs, Otto Suwen was a busy man. It was not uncommon for him to leave his desk feeling as if he heard a bed calling for him. Then again, he heard "the voices", as he called them, multiple times throughout the day so maybe it wasn't entirely fatigue. In any case, none of that agonizing workload would be done today as the "work" that Otto had in mind was different. The merchant was currently looking to torment one of those he called his arch-enemies: children.
Following the events of the Pleiades watchtower, Meili had officially become a member of the Emilia camp. It was a painful and awkward process, but slowly every member of the camp, including Petra, became accepting of her, except for one green mean man. She even got two new sisters: Beatrice and Rui, though one was way friendlier than the other. Subaru had told her "Beako's just being a tsundere loli.". Granted, Meili hadn't understood a word, but then again did anyone in this camp understand the mysterious black haired boy?
As Meili was sinking deeper in thought, a sudden violent kick to the door made her jump, letting out a cute "eep" as the dolls that Subaru had sewn for her fell from her hands. Looking at the door, her heart reached her throat as before her stood the one man who would occasionally make her consider running back to "Mother". That creature, creepier than the clown and probably crazier than the witch, was none other than Otto Suwen, or, as he was known in her nightmares, Otto The Creep.
