Emma's name is going to be changed as Enma due to complications with another character also called Emma.
They finally escaped that hellhole, everyone, Norman, Ray, Gilda, Don, Phil, and all the others. They're finally at the real world, a peaceful world in which there was no demons, only tranquility.
Smack!
Emma blinked to see a woman holding a rolled up piece of paper. " Enma, stop sleeping in class and tell me the answer to this question. "
' Wait... Where am I? ' Emma frantically looked around to see a building, a classroom per say. The blackboard in the front of the class had the simple question : " What is the meaning of Don Quixote? "
" Don Quixote is about the adventures of a noble form La Mancha named Alonso Quixano and how he becomes a knight. " She stood up straight and tall, loudly telling the entire class, it was as if she was never sleeping in the first place.
The teacher let out a small ' hmph ' and walked up to the board to write down what Emma just stated.
Emma sunk deeper into her chair, the memories of this world was slowly piecing back together, yet still some holes remained. Her name was Emma, she is a 1st year in middle school. Birthday, August 22th. She likes archery, talking to her friends, and likes the game of tag. ( she shuddered just thinking about it. ) She dislikes fighting ( unless needed ), evil ( depends ), and people who tell lies.
She seemed to be in a normal school, she was even wearing a uniform for hecks sake!
' Where are the others? ' she began to inwardly panic, calming herself with deep breaths, ' Think, where would they be? ' she thought, so long, that she fell asleep again to everyone's dismay.
When she woke up from her slumber, the classroom was empty, ' Everyone must've left! ' she thought.
Sliding the door open, she traveled down the vacant hallway, either people were at their clubs, or already at home.
" Enma! " her name was hollered across the corridor. A girl, pink bubblegum hair split into pigtails ran towards her. Her name was... Sydney. " We need to get to the dojo right now! " Zooming up to her, taking her wrist, Syd ran to the appointed destination, the dojo.
The archery club dojo was located near the school, a little off campus.
Reaching the destination, Emma took a bow, the nostalgic feeling rushed in her veins, blood was pumping at the max.
Adrenaline.
Something like that hasn't happened in a while, so she decided to try archery out once more. Guns were more sufficient though.
She looked right at the target, her new glove covering her right hand. Slowly, she gracefully dragged the bow string near the side of her cheek, carefully letting go, the arrow shot forward, hitting bullseye.
Exhaling, her head throbbed, it hurt, she probably wasn't use to the transmigration yet.
' This is tiring, but it's fun. ' she smiled slightly. ' It's fine, as long as I can bare it, I'm fine. '
( that's all she needed to know that she was fine. )
