(The Owl House X Sonic the Hedgehog)

Prologue

Eggman knelt down on the ground of his laboratory, screwing the bolts on his latest invention. The machine was a metallic arc structure, with a side component for holding a power source. Eggman got up, put down his tools and took off his work gloves. He looked around his lab, it was a usually dark room lit up by Eggman's various gizmos and an Observatory dome. The room was inhabited by Eggman robotic minions.

Eggman chuckled and stated "At last my greatest invention is almost complete. Now all I have to do is get one last item."

All of a sudden, Eggman hears a crashing sound in the hallway. He goes past his robots to see what it is. A suspenseful silence fills the room, until a blue streak speed right past Eggman.

"Hey Eggman," Sonic says, "A little birdie told me you were up to no good again".

"Gah!" Eggman exclaimed, he then pointed at Sonic and said "get him!"

His robotic minions began to shoot their lasers at Sonic. Sonic jumped out of the way of fire, and performed a homing attack on all of the Badniks. Sonic slowly walked towards Eggman, as Eggman stood in front of his machine.

"Now Eggman," sonic said, "What's the new toy I have the privilege of breaking".

"This isn't a mere 'toy' Sonic," Eggman replied "This machine will allow me to travel to different worlds".

"Huh, is that so you can enslave those worlds?" Sonic chuckles, "like I let that happen".

"Unfortunately for you sonic, there's only one thing I need for my vision to be fueled" Eggman stated. Eggman was lowered into the ground, then lifted back up, revealing he was in a modified Egg Walker, a mech Eggman can pilot for offensive uses. "Now stay out of my way if you know what's good for you." Eggman said in an intimidating tone.

Sonic, instead of heeding Eggman's warning, went in for the attack, knocking Eggman slightly. Eggman retaliated by shooting at sonic, hitting him a couple times. Sonic let out a series of homing attacks, but this allowed Eggman to perform a devastating kick with the Egg Walker, knocking Sonic against the wall.

"Ugh," sonic grunted, "looks like I'm going to have to use these" he said as held a satchel designed by his pal tails, to hold the Chaos emeralds."

The emeralds flew out of the satchel and circled Sonic. Sonic spun in the air for a second, before turning a bright yellow, and becoming Super Sonic. Sonic flew at Eggman, striking the mech repeatedly. Eggman tried to fire at Sonic, but he dodged every attack. Sonic performed a finishing spin dash, destroying the Egg walker and throwing Eggman right beside the portal gate. Sonic landed right in front of the fallen Eggman, looming over him.

"It's over, Eggman" Sonic said, "I can't let you finish this portal".

"Oh, but Sonic..." Eggman replied, a grin forming on his face. "You already brought the final piece!".

Eggman quickly takes out a small remote and pushes a button. Metallic rods lower from the ceiling and zap Sonic. Sonic is forced out of his super state and is immobilized. The chaos emeralds fall to the ground.

"And to think you would learn from the last time" Eggman says while getting up. "The chaos emeralds were the last component of my grand machine I needed. Now that you handed them to me on a silver platter, I can begin the process. I only needed one so…" Eggman plays a game of Eni-Meni-mini-mo. with the emeralds. "Eni-Meni-mini…" he grabs the orange emerald, "This one!".

Eggman placed the orange emerald in the side compartment, and grabbed the lever. He pulls it down and the gate starts to spark up

"YES! It's finally happening!" Eggman says as he looks upon his creation. The Orange emerald starts to blacken in certain areas. "Eh, it's probably fine," Eggman said when he noticed the phenomenon.

The gate suddenly stopped sparking, and a portal formed. Eggman looks through the portal, he sees an overhead view of a pine forest, a bustling marketplace, and some strange flying creatures.

"Ugh, how grotesque!" Eggman said to himself, he then chuckled and rubbed his hands together, "The perfect place to build the all new and improved, Eggman land 2.0". "Now I just need to gather my robots and…" all of a sudden, a crashing sound is heard behind Eggman.

Eggman turns around and sees sonic breaking his equipment, alarms start to blare and the room flashes red lights

"Sonic, I'm going to…" an additional alarm blare, "urgh!" Eggman runs to fix the machine.

Sonic limply runs towards the portal. He grabs the darkened emerald, causing the portal to become even more unstable. Sonic trips with the emerald in hand, dropping the satchel holding the other emeralds. As the portal's pull grows stronger, the other emeralds spill out of the satchel and fall into the portal spread across the mysterious land. Sonic tries to hold on to the floor, but the portal becomes too strong. He lets out a scream before being pulled into the mysterious realm, emerald still in hand.

Eggman starts to be pulled in, but he manages to pull the power lever. The portal disappears, and the Arc it formed from collapses to the ground.

Eggman looks around his lab, broken glass, ripped metal, and fried machinery is all he can see. The only thing he can mutter, "This doesn't look good.".
