(The Owl House X Sonic the Hedgehog)

Chapter 2: Insecurity Breach

Sonic woke up in a serine void of emptiness. The surrounding sky was a shifting mass of black and white, the ground he stood on ripple as if it were liquid, yet felt completely solid.

"Woah what is this place?" Sonic exclaimed as he looked around his surroundings. Sonic notices a young teenage girl on a computer wearing headphones with a mic and facing a webcam.

Sonic walks up to the young girl and catches what she is saying. "Hello everybody, my name is Marcy, but you can call me Marcyplier, and today we'll be playing Five Nights at Freddy's, with a twist".

Sonic taps on Marcyplier's shoulders and gets her attention. "Excuse me, uh, Marcyplier?" Sonic asked, "Do you happen to know where we are?".

"Of course, I do, my rodent friend," Marcy replied, "We're in a void between dimensions. But how did someone like you end up here?"

"let's just say, teenager problems." Sonic replies, "But how did you get here?"

Marcy thinks about what to say, then replies with, "Uh, frogs."

Sonic looks at her with confusion, but then just shrugs it off. "Alrighty then, well, do you know how to leave this place? '' Sonic asked.

Marcy responded with "I think I had found a way out of here with the power of some sort of diamond with chaotic powers". "I think I know what you're talking about." Sonic replied.

"So how can I get my hands on this 'diamond'?" Sonic inquires

. "Well..." Marcy said, "ALL you have to do is beat a night in Five Nights at Freddy's."

"Oh, that seems easy enough," Sonic replied. "Also, what's Five Nights at Freddy's."

Marcyplier said, "You'll figure it out,". Sonic got on Marcyplier's gamer chair and grabbed her cat ear headphones. "I never got your name by the way." Marcyplier inquired.

"I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog." Sonic replied

Marcyplier suddenly interjected "Wait! Sonic! I should probably tell you that…". "It's fine." Sonic Interrupted, "This should be a breeze.". Before Marcyplier could further clarify, sonic put on the cat ear headphones and started the first night.

The game started out normally, the animatronics moved towards the office and Sonic used the doors and cameras wisely. By the time it was 5am in the game, sonic got a bit cocky. "Ha, this is too easy." Sonic said mockingly, "they run around like dumb children."

. Just After sonic said that, the screen started to violently Shake and glitch out. Suddenly the monitor blew up and launched Sonic off of Marcyplier's gaming chair. When the smoke cleared, sonic could see Freddy Fazbear looming over him.

"Oh, by the way, that's the twist!" Marcy shouted from the safety of a conveniently placed boulder.

Sonic got up, adjusted his cat ear headphones, and chuckled. "Heh, now we're talking, '' Sonic said as he prepared his first strike on Freddy. Freddy let out a booming scream, Sonic grinned and sped off in the blink of an eye.

Sonic appeared behind Freddy and kicked him, but Freddy blocked his kick with his forearm, and delivered a back kick, knocking Sonic to the ground. Freddy lunged at sonic, but sonic quickly spin dashed out of the way, then spin dashed in circles around Freddy, disorientating the animatronic. Sonic jumped up and did a series of homing attacks. Freddy suddenly caught the curled-up hedgehog mid attack, and headbutted him to the ground. Sonic got up once more, he rubbed his forehead in pain.

"Damn, this circus freak is pretty tough" Sonic mumbled. Sonic thought for a moment on how he could get past Freddy's tough exterior, then he noticed a small black button on his face. "Hmm, this could be fairly useful, '' Sonic thought to himself.

Sonic dashed around Freddy, performing light attacks to disorientate him. Freddy attempted a bite attack, when sonic seized the opportunity, and kicked Freddy's face button, opening his chest and revealing his metallic interior. Sonic performed a finishing homing attack to Freddy's insides, causing sparks to fly out, until he eventually collapsed on the ground in defeat. A beam of green light picked up Freddy's parts, and suddenly, the green chaos emerald materialized and hovered in front of Sonic. Sonic grabbed the emerald and said "Hmm, piece of cake!".

Marcy appeared from behind the boulder and said "Wow, I thought you surely would've been killed."

Sonic retorted with, "Well, this isn't the first robotic freak show I've dealt with."

Marcy patted Sonic on the back and said, "Well what will you do now that you got your ticket out of here"

Sonic thought for a moment before replying with "I'm going to help someone in need, and then find the rest of the emeralds."

Marcyplier nodded and said "Well I guess this is goodbye for now". Sonic shook Marcyplier's hand and held the emerald up. Sonic looked back and said "Wait, don't you go back to the mortal realm too." Marcyplier replied "No thanks, I'll probably return soon enough anyways".

Sonic shrugged and said "Well in that case, goodbye Marcy, also you can have these back" Sonic threw the cat ear headphones. Sonic held up the Chaos emerald and yelled "Chaos control!'' The emerald emitted a green aura before it let out a flash of light. When the light disappeared, so too did sonic and the emerald.

As Marcyplier stared at where the hedgehog once stood, she hears the rustling of chains behind her. She looks, and spots a hooded figure, wielding chains in both hands, and dressed in rouged black clothing.

"Ah, Sonic finally made his way down here." the hooded figure stated, he twirls his chains around, "I must thank you once more for your compliance."

"Don't mention it..." Marcy mumbled to herself; her voice seems agitated.

The hooded figure looks at her confused, "What's wrong, Mar-Mar?" he asks, "I thought you would be used to betrayal at this point."

"Yeah, like the one time I betrayed my friends and lost them both."

The hooded figure chuckles to themselves, "It's only one time, to your knowledge."
