I do not own Dorothy Must Die or Harry Potter

The dark-haired boy slipped so suddenly his back slammed painfully on the ground.

Amy offered her hand. 'Hey, Harry.'

Harry pushed himself off the ground, only halting in his run at the sight of Amy's knife. He looked at her face. 'How old are you?'

Annoyance rose in Amy's chest. 'Seventeen,' she lied easily. 'So what're you doing? I thought you needed my help?'

Harry looked annoyed. 'What are you talking about? I'm a little busy right n-'

'Oh, your friend Dumbledore sent me.'

Harry paused. 'What?'

'You know, Dumbledore. The one Neville mentioned. He said you need my help for whatever you're busy with.'

'Dumbledore? He would've told us!' Harry sounded furious. 'Right then-you-whatever your name is-'

'Amy Gumm.'

'Right, yeah. Come with us.' Harry rushed off on the same direction he was heading. 'What did Dumbledore tell you?'

'Just that you needed my help. So what's going on?' Amy asked as if she was really sent to help whoever Harry was.

Harry gave her a strange look before talking. 'We need to find my friends. I know where the diadem is.'

'The diadem?'

'You know! That thing Dumbledore said.' Harry was sounding suspicious.

Amy gave her best shot at pretending she knew what he was talking about. Thankfully, after months of undercover practice Amy could lie like a snake. 'Of course, that thing. The thing you need to defeat Voldemort.'

That seemed to convince Harry. 'Yeah. I know where it is. I need to find my friends.'

Amy could've laughed at how easy that was. She had no idea what was going on, but what else could Harry had been doing? Trying to rob the castle?

Amy cleared her throat as they ran. 'So...where is the diadem?'

'In the Room of Requirement,' Harry panted. 'Of course Voldemort hid it there! Where are Ron and Hermione?'

Just as he said it, they turned a corner and Harry halted. 'Where the heck have you two been?' he demanded. The girl and boy Amy had seen earlier were both holding some sort of snake fangs under their arms. There weren't any dragons in Oz that Amy had seen. She was on a roll with touring mythical animals now.

'Chamber of Secrets,' the boy said.

Harry stopped in his tracks again. 'What?!'

Amy rolled her eyes as the girl proceeded to practically confess her love for the boy. Though another part of her ached as it reminded her of Nox. Where was that pretty-haired boy? She got zapped to some weirdo war again and he was probably kicking Dorothy's butt somewhere. Why did she have to get sent to another war?

The boy and girl's eyes landed on Amy. 'Who's this?' the girl asked, her eyes narrowed with suspicion.

'Amy Gumm.' Amy waved her hand. 'Dumbledore sent me. We're looking for the diadem, right?'

'Right...' the girl muttered, still not on board with Amy working with them. She was smart to not trust her completely, Amy could give her that.

'This is Ron and Hermione,' Harry said. 'Amy, I really hope you know what you're doing. Dumbledore told you about the Horcruxes, yes?'

Amy cocked her head, pretending to think. 'Uh, he mentioned something like that. No idea what it means, though. He said you'll know.'

'Why did Dumbledore recruit you?' Ron asked, clearly suspicious. 'He would've told us, wouldn't he?'

Amy shrugged as if she didn't know either. 'I was just minding my own business when-boom! And now here I am. Now come on!'

Whatever they were doing, Amy didn't care too much. They all ran to some weird room that magically appeared in a wall and they bolted in. Inside, Amy's eyes widened at the vast amounts of pure trash stacked up around the endless-seeming room.

'Glamora will love this,' she muttered to herself. She turned to the three. 'What do we do?' Obviously they have the most information, Amy noted. I can see it in their eyes. Just like Mombi's, just like Dorothy's.
