Hey everyone!
Time for some hot fluff!
I am obsessed with these two. Absolutely obsessed.
They are amazing. I cannot. Also I haven't stopped eating those pretzels. They're so addicting. I can't. freaking. stop.
Also, I just feel like sharing facts about myself because I like talking about myself.
I am a Virgo, and don't act like one. I am the most irresponsible person you'll ever meet. I don't think I've owned something that i haven't lost.
I have a weird home life, it's both really good and really bad. It's weird.
I have an older brother.
I'm single and want to stay that way. Oh and I'm bisexual!
Okay lol I'll just let you read the chapter.
Enjoy!
(Disclaimer: I don't own these characters)
ANNABETH POV:
His mouth was perfect.
Our lips slowly moved together in harmony, and I felt him smile into the kiss. I couldn't help but smile as well. I had been waiting this for so long.
Being with Percy made me brave, and I nipped his bottom lip, and Percy started kissing me faster.
Heaven.
He pressed his forehead to mine and let out a shaky breath.
We slowly leaned back and stared at each other in shock.
Percy refused to stop meeting my eyes, and it felt like it was physically impossible to look away from his meaningful gaze.
"Wise Girl?" His voice was low and husky and made my heart beat faster than I ever thought it could.
"Yeah?"
"What's going through your head?"
I laughed a little at that. For the first time, I wasn't sure. "Honestly, Perce, I don't know."
He gave me a small smile and scooched closer to me so I could rest my head on his shoulder. The sparks I felt every time I touched him worked their way through me.
"You're one of my best friends, Perce."
"You too, Beth."
His breath was fast but steady, and comforting as his shoulder subtly moved up and down. He smelled good, like chocolate and the ocean.
I closed my eyes and leaned on him more, letting him carry most of my weight.
"What about Luke?"
"What about him?"
"I thought you liked him. I thought you two were like… together."
I shook my head. "It was just coffee."
He nodded. "Okay. Do you want to go do something?"
"Like what?" I asked, my eyes still closed.
"I don't know. Anything."
"How about I quiz on your new unit in History?" I peeked at his expression, hilariously distraught.
Percy groaned, letting his head fall back against the wall. "Anything but that."
I laughed softly. "Well, what do you feel like doing?"
He turned and met my eyes. His smile had a spark of playfulness and nostalgia. "We can make cookies."
I smiled. "Cookies it is."
Percy lived in an apartment he shared with Jason off campus, and their kitchen was surprisingly nice.
Every spatula, whisk and measuring spoon was a shade of blue.
It was a quirk of his that was exceedingly adorable.
He got out the sugar and butter, and started preheating the oven.
"Where's the recipe," I asked.
Percy smirked. "Recipe?"
"Oh gods," I laughed, letting my head fall backwards in laughter. "We're going to have the most chaotic cookies ever."
"Only if you made them, Wise Girl," he replied. "But I've made this recipe for years. It's my mom's. Secret Jackson family recipe."
His eyes softened when he mentioned his mom, as they always did. He never talked about his dad, and I didn't push him to.
But he loved to tell stories about wonderful things his mom had done for him.
She seemed like a real life angel. I would've killed to have a mother like her.
"Hand me two eggs?"
I gently placed them in his large palm and watched, mesmerized as he expertly cracked them with one hand.
"Maybe you are a good cook."
He laughed. "Hell, no. Jason does all the cooking. But these cookies are my strong point."
It did seem like he knew what he was doing. He grabbed the light blue whisk and started mixing.
I walked up behind him, went up on my tip toes and leaned my head over his shoulder to watch him work as he stirred eggs, milk and vanilla extract together.
He poured his bowl of wet things into his bowl of dries, flour, sugar and salt. And a large amount of chocolate chips.
When I expected him to start mixing, he left to go to a small cabinet across the kitchen.
He came back wielding a small container of blue liquid.
He held it up, beaming. "They're not real cookies if they aren't blue."
He was so in his element and happy and I couldn't help but smile back. I was falling, and falling fast.
And I honestly didn't mind.
He squirted a few drops of food coloring into the batter, and mixed it all together. He let me lick the spatula. It was the best cookie dough I'd ever eaten.
We sang along to George Ezra as we balled up the dough and placed it onto a baking sheet lined with blue parchment paper.
"Don't matter now," Percy scream/yelled as he placed the baking sheet into the oven. I was laughing my head off.
"How long? I don't know if I can wait."
"Only eight minutes, Wise Girl. Let's not be impatient.
I rolled my eyes and scowled. Percy laughed and stepped closer to me. I looked up at him and smiled a little. He was so beautiful.
We just stood there, next to each other, looking deep into one another's eyes. He leaned in, closer, closer…
We were just a millimeter apart when his alarm rang, shocking us away.
He hurriedly put on an oven mitt and took the blue cookies out of the oven. They smelled like heaven.
"Oh my gods Percy, those look really good."
He smiled proudly. "Try one!"
I happily picked one up and took a bite. It was crunchy but soft, with just the right amount of salty and sweet. It was perfection.
I moaned and closed my eyes, savoring the taste. "This is so good."
He grinned, and suddenly I couldn't wait anymore.
He was the most adorable boy in the world. I was so freaking lucky.
I placed my hands on his shoulders, leaned up and kissed him.
He was the chocolate chips he had sampled while we baked, and the ocean, and something so distinctly Percy.
"Mmm," Percy hummed. "You taste like cookies."
I laughed, and couldn't stop. It was such a Percy thing to say.
I burrowed into his neck, relishing in his warmth. He rested his chin on top of my head.
I looked up and kissed him again. "You're a good baker."
We pulled away, both of us smiling like idiots. "You're a good kisser," Percy smirked. "I feel like one of those is more important right now."
I smacked his arm and took another bite of cookie.
"You're such a Seaweed Brain."
Ok well there we go.
