Chapter 5

Jon slowly walked through the forest, towards his destination. Luckily there aren't any motion sensors on ground and the cameras are all too easy to avoid. The sidekicks are currently fighting the villains and losing quite badly. But he still didn't hurry. Something about this feels off like they are toying with sidekicks. Anyway, looks like he got final piece of puzzle. He will have to destroy the large vine which acts like a transmitter and power source for other plants in across America.

He needs to do something about the big guys first. Black Adam and Wotan looks like the biggest threat. After that it will be easy to pick up the rest. Still, he can't help but feel something is weird. Hopefully the league will arrive soon. He had already sent them the coordinates.

His attention soon turned to the clone fighting Black Adam. It felt weird to think he now has a clone. On the Brightside, he isn't like the bizzarro, evil and deformed. It was only his experience in battle from last few years that kept from freaking out about. He hasn't imagined a possibility of having a clone. And now suddenly he was so close to one.

Just as he got close to the fight, the clone got punched into the forest, and ended up losing consciousness. Taking that as his que he ran towards Black Adam from the same direction in which he punched the clone.

"Oh, you think you can beat me just because you changed your costume." Black Adam laughed as Jon rushed forward.

Keep underestimating me, Jon thought as he went ahead, dodged a lightning and punched Adam. He flied back towards the base and just as he was near the base Jon fired his heat vision on Adam pushing him further back and also burning the vines. He heard a loud 'NO' from Ivy.

He then turned towards Ultra Humanite who was fighting Martian Girl. He rushed him and slugged the monkey from blind spot, knocking him out. Just as he was about to clear rest of the fodders, his head started splitting, at least that was what he felt. He started to lose his balance and sense of direction. He saw a long and thin man who was sending some waves towards him, he was going to use heat vision on him, but the Yellow Flash beat him when he was distracted.

"Wow, dude did you transformed in face of danger like in anime. Or is it the suit?" kid flash asked him.

"No time to explain. Sneak on Joker and attack him when he is distracted. Martian Girl will take down Ivy. After that rest of you fight Wotan along with Aquaboy. I will try to take down Atomic Skull before Adam arrives then we will switch up try to shake them up until league arrives. Now go." With that he left.

"Did he just call you and Kaldur Martian Girl and Aquaboy? Looks like his personality changed too," Kid Flash asked Miss Martian.

"Something feels wrong too, his connection dimmed like he is unconscious or something." Megan replied.

Still, both went on following his plan. KF easily defeated Joker as he was busy fighting Robin. Miss Martian defeated Poison Ivy with little difficulty. And Superboy he fought Atomic Skull for a bit before sensing Black Adam and punching Skull a bit too hard, putting him out of commission.

It was in final phase that things went wrong. The stupid clone woke up and attacked Jon, he didn't know whether it was deliberate or accidental. Wotan started picking sidekicks off. And those idiots refused to hear his orders. Clone keep getting in his way only to get smacked around and finally Black Adam looked pissed.

Luckily, he knows how to fight stronger opponents. He was going to discharge another heat vision at Adam, but he was struck by an extremely powerful magical bolt, from behind. He screamed in pain. He fell down. He checked on other sidekicks. Only Martian Girl and Aquaboy were left standing. They were arguing about a Helmet?

Anyway, his worries died and a smile formed on his face.

Black Adam frowned, not liking it. "Why are you smiling?" he asked.

Jon just smirked and said, "You already lost."

Before duo could process it, Wotan got blasted with a magical energy. Which came from Zatara. And Shazam attacked Black Adam. The rest of the league soon got to the scene.

"Surrender, you are outnumbered." Batman ordered and both magicians finally surrendered.

The team woke up, while league was securing the prisoners.

Batman glared at them, "Talk". That's the only thing he said. But the message was clear. It was a recon mission they weren't suppose to fight.

Robin shrunk a bit at that. But started explaining the situation, with rest of the team jumping in here and there.

Then Batman turned his attention on the New Superboy. "Who are you?"

Jon put his hand on his heart and said, "Come on Uncle Bruce, did you forget the boy who dyed your hair pink before your important date?"

Batman smiled a bit, and asked, "If you are him, where is Superman?"

Jon blushed, "Well he and mom haven't seen each other for four years, so they are getting reacquainted."

Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and even Martian Manhunter smiled a bit at this. While, Shazam said 'Yuck' with visible disgust.

Kid Flash finally couldn't take it anymore. "Excuse me, but who is this? How does he know your name? And what about Batman with Pink Hair"

Batman glared at him, then looked at the Team along with other members of the league who were all looking curiously and said, "Meet the original Superboy, Son of Superman and My Godson"

Hope you like it; I made some changes to the secret society/ injustice episode. It just felt weird that batman's plan was sending the team to stop injustice league, when it contained Black Adam, Wotan and Atomic Skull and even Joker. Also, this chapter was an experiment. I can't write multiple POVs simultaneous while making them distinct and giving everyone something to do. So, I wrote most of the chapter from Jon's POV. Sorry if the fight was bad, I am not very good at it. Next chapter will contain, what happened to Jon and Lois. Stay tuned.
