"Any way, A class is currently having a study session which is led by the Big Five", Shindou continued.

"Coming in second place in the midterms, CEO in training and Media Club President, Arakai Teppei!"

"In this place, the words smith and Student Council Secretary, Sakakibara Ren!"

"In fifth place, a true sorcerer of science, Biology Club President, Koyama Natsuhiko!"

"In sixth place, an infamous wit and Speaker of the Student Council, Seo Tomoya!"

While the students of E class were grateful to Shindou for providing them with this information, they were quite confused about the voice he was using. It was Sugino who asked the question.

"hey , Shindou… quick question. What are you doing with your voice"

"...", there was a slight pause before Shindou answered.

"Well, I always wanted to be an announcer. Just practising", the entire class could practically hear the blush Shindou made as he made this confession.

Thankfully, Shindou continued his explanation and this time in his normal voice.

"Any way, ruling over all these overachievers with perfect scores in every subject, Asano Gakushuu!"

"The headmaster's only son?", the entire class said in unison.

Third Person POV

Karma, Kaede and Nagisa were walking home while chattering about the headmaster's so-called genius son when Isogai came running after them.

"Do you guys want to hit the books at the main campus library tomorrow after class", Isogai said as he pulled out a library ticket, a large grin on face.

"I have been holding onto this for a while now"

"Wow, count us in", Kaede cheers.

"And I will bring Toshi~ too"

Toshiro POV

I am not sure why this world wants to be so cruel. Just when class finished today and I was about to head back to the apartment to do the paperwork that my lazy lieutenant failed to do, Kayano grabbed my hand and pulled me away. Not even bothering to tell me where she was taking me. It was only when we got the main campus library that I realised what was going on.

"So Toshi~ Isogai got a library ticket so we all decided to go. You will join us won't you!" she says while doing her puppy dog eyes. A tick appears at my head. Okay, calm down Toshiro. Deep breath in deep breath out.

*sigh* "Since I am already here, why not?", seriously why ask me when I am already here and not before?

"Yayyyyy", I just wish she would quiet down a little.

Nagisa POV

I was surprised but glad that Toshiro decided to come down but I get a feeling that Kaede has something to do with it. The other people who had come included Okuda, Nakamura, Kanzaki, Isogai and myself. We seated ourselves on a table near the back of the library and began to study.

"Well, look at that. It's the E class crew", hearing this sudden commotion all of us looked up to see four individuals. All of us were thinking the same thing. Ugh. From the look of superiority it was easy to guess who they were. The big five.

"How cute, they are studying. Hey scrubs playtime is over, the big kids need their spot", uh that's not good. I turned to face Kaede and just like I thought she was pissed. She is sensitive to words that have anything to do with her height after all.

"Hey, do you mind? We are trying to fill our minds with knowledge", she lifted her book up however it slid down to reveal a food catalogue. A small smile forms on my face. Typically Kaede. Lucky Isogai picked up where Kaede left off.

"We aren't going anywhere, we reserved these seats", way to go Isogai!

"Defying your betters now? Now this is a new low", Natsuhiko steps forward with his usually creepy grin (no offense).

This time Okuda stood up to defend us and our precious seats. This back and for confrontation seemed to have gone on for a while. Seriously, why do these class A students have to bother us? *sigh*

"Everyone has a right to get good grades! Just watch us kick your butts in the finals!", wow Okuda. Never knew she had such a fire in her. Hearing some mumbling I turn towards Kaede and see Sakakibara bending down and talking into Kanzaki's ear. Erh… I feel sorry for her. She seems to always attract the worst kind of guys.

Toshiro POV

*sigh* this is getting from bad to worse. I thought that since I was here anyway, I will do some of the paperwork that Matsumoto has conveniently not done on my soul phone. But no. Instead of doing paperwork in peace and quiet, I have to watch the drama between these kids play out. Seriously?! This is why I hate kids. *sigh*

"Everyone has a right to get good grades! Just watch us kick your butts in the finals!", bold words to say but I give her credit for standing up for herself. Across from me, the dude with the clipped hair style began to make a move on Kanzaki. At least I think he was trying to make a move on her. Can't he tell that she is obviously uncomfortable?! Ugh. Humans.

"Wait a sec, I think I know these twirps", the creepy, glasses dude began to speak. Seriously? What is it with his grin?

"They actually placed pretty decently, for their level at least. Seems like they arent your everyday dumbasses". Rude, much?

Araki began to talk, something about placing bets on who will come out on top in midterms. Something about the class that scores lower than the other class has to do with what they say. Seriously? Do they all have to behave like children?

Master, have you forgotten they ARE children. Human children.

Oh shut up Hyorinmaru. You know what I meant.

Anyway, I think I have had enough of their class rivalry. Gathering my things I stand up to leave. But before I go… Internally I give myself a little chuckle…

Master, you're just like Karma. A sadist…

"You five idoits", ignoring Hyorinmary's side comment, I immediately get the attention of the five in question.

"Stop behaving like grade scholars, here I thought that you were supposed to be the almighty big five". I make sure that I make a *cough, cough* quiet laugh when I mentioned the 'big five'.I take a good look at their faces. They seem pretty shocked and pissed. Hah, their shocked expressions look priceless.

I don't think you should take so much pride in bullying human children, master...

Choosing to ignore Hyorinmaru's comment, once again, I begin to prepare to leave.

"I am going to go ahead now. I have a few things to do", and by that I mean I have to finish this paperwork in peace and quiet. So I am not necessarily lying. With that I walk off.

Third Person POV

For a while there was silence. No one really expected Toshiro to do what she did. It was Kaede who broke the silence first.

"*Puff* hahahah….." she broke out in a mindless laughter.

"S-she called you… gra-ade s-scholers… hahahahaha!", the green haired girl was laughing so hard her speech began to spur. This began to cause the remaining four to also begin to laugh.

The big five, however, were in no mood to laugh. To them. Their pride and dignity was belittled by what they saw as a midget.

"You trash dare to laugh!" Koyama practically yelled.

"We will put our lives on the line to make sure you trash get taught a lesson", Seo continued.

At the mention of lives, the assassination leasons and reactions kicked in and they swiftky pointed they pen or pencil at the nearest big five. They wielded their stationary as if it was their knife.

"I will be more careful about betting my life if I was you", Nagisa says while lowering his pencil.

"Huh, w-we aren't scared of you", Seo quickly says. A fellow of agreement ripples from the other four as well.

"We have ourselves a deal, don't back out now" Sakaibara says before he follows the other four out of the library.
