The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin
Beca and Chloe had just finished tucking in their seven-year-old daughter, Sophie, and were leaving her bedroom.
"Hey, Chlo," Beca said. "Can we talk? I have something I want to run by you."
"Sure," Chloe said. "We can have a glass of wine and talk downstairs."
"That sounds good," Beca said and followed Chloe downstairs.
Chloe continued to the kitchen, while Beca went to the living room. Beca sat on the sofa and waited for Chloe.
Chloe came in with two glasses of wine and handed one to Beca.
"Thanks, babe," Beca said, taking the glass and placing it on the table in front of her.
Chloe sat on the sofa and once settled, took a sip of her wine. Beca looked nervously at Chloe while chewing on her thumbnail.
Chloe put a hand on Beca's arm. "Is everything okay?"
"What?" Beca asked. "Oh, yeah. Everything's fine."
"So, what did you want to talk about?"
"Okay, so, you know how we've been married for over two years," Beca said.
"I'm well aware," Chloe said, smiling at Beca.
"I was thinking that maybe now would be a good time to try for a baby," Beca said. "If that's okay with you?"
Chloe set her glass on the table and pulled Beca to her. "I am more than okay with that idea. I loved being pregnant."
"Um," Beca said. "Actually, I was thinking that, um, maybe I'd be the one to carry the baby."
"Oh," Chloe said, pulling back to look at Beca. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah," Beca said. "I'm actually kind of excited about it. But if you'd rather carry it, then that would be cool, too. I'm good either way."
"I'm more than okay with you carrying our baby," Chloe said, smiling at Beca. "I can't wait to see you pregnant."
"Great," Beca said, beaming at Chloe. "What do we need to do first?"
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
Beca went through all the testing and was given a clean bill of health. She went through the procedure and two weeks later, had a blood test to see if she was pregnant. The doctor told them to go home and someone would call them with the results. The couple went home and tried to busy themselves while waiting to find out the results.
Chloe was busy cleaning the kitchen. It wasn't dirty, she was doing it mostly to keep herself busy while they waited for the call. Beca was anxious and didn't want Chloe out of her sight, so she was in the kitchen "helping" Chloe clean. Things were quiet until Beca's phone suddenly rang.
"Ahh," Beca yelled, causing Chloe to drop a pan.
The plan clattered to the floor as Chloe looked over at Beca with a frown. It took a moment for her to realize Beca's phone was ringing.
"It's the clinic," Beca said, as she sat at the counter staring down at her phone
"Oh," Chloe said, walking to stand next to Beca. "Answer it."
"Um, hello," Beca said, answering the call.
Chloe stood by and listened to Beca's end of the conversation.
"Yes, this is Beca Beale."
"I understand."
"I'll be sure and make an appointment as soon as I can."
Beca looked at Chloe with a big smile on her face.
"Yes, it is exciting news."
Chloe slapped her hand over her mouth to keep herself from squealing. Tears came to her eyes as she stared at Beca.
"Thank you, doctor," Beca said and ended the call. She turned to Chloe. "We're pregnant!"
Chloe removed her hand and let out a squeal. She threw her arms around Beca's shoulders.
"I'm so happy," Chloe sobbed into Beca's neck.
"Me, too," Beca said, pulling Chloe closer to her.
Beca pulled back and reached out to wipe the tears from Chloe's cheek.
"The doctor said I'm due around Halloween," Beca said.
"Wouldn't it be just perfect if the baby was actually born on Halloween," Chloe said, teary-eyed. "Halloween is very special to us. It's the day I first told you I loved you."
"And when I told you I loved you, too," Beca added. "It's also the day we got engaged."
"I can't wait to tell Sophie she's going to be a big sister," Chloe said.
"Oh, shit," Beca said, jumping up. "I almost forgot about Sophie. I promised her I'd pick her up from school. I'd better go."
"Go," Chloe said, pushing Beca toward the garage.
Beca rushed to the door leading to the garage. She paused and turned back to Chloe.
"Can I tell Sophie about the baby?"
"Um, can you wait until you get home?" Chloe said. "I want to be there when she finds out."
Beca smiled. "Sure. I'll be back soon."
Beca left and Chloe stood in the kitchen with a smile on her face.

Sophie was head over heels excited about becoming a big sister. Neither Chloe nor Beca were surprised by this. What surprised Beca was Sophie asking how many more brothers and sisters she was going to have.
"Hey, hold up for a sec, Soph," Beca said. "Let's get through this one before we start talking about more, okay?"
"But I want lots of brothers and sisters," Sophie said. "I have so much to teach them."
Beca blanched a bit and looked over at Chloe, beseeching Chloe to say something.
"Soph," Chloe said. "Mama's right. We need to see how things go with this one before we decide to have another."
"Okay, mommy," Sophie said, sounding dejected. She brightened up and asked, "Can this one be a baby brother?"
"Um, I, um," Beca stuttered.
Chloe chuckled. "We don't get to decide it's a boy or a girl," she told Sophie.
"Who does decide?"
"Um, I, um," Beca stuttered again. She put her hands to her face mumbling, "What was I thinking? I am so not ready to have a child. I'm going to screw them up because I can't answer a simple question."
"Beca," Chloe started.
"Mama," Sophie interrupted. "You're doing great with me. So, I know you'll do great with baby Beale."
Tears came to Beca's eyes as she scooped Sophie into a hug. "I love you!"
"I love you, too, mama," Sophie said, squeezing her arms around Beca's neck.
"Good answer, Soph," Chloe whispered to her before kissing her cheek.
Beca shifted Sophie to her hip and pulled Chloe to her other side.
"She gets that from you," Beca told Chloe before leaning in to kiss her.

Beca's pregnancy was progressing well. Beca and Chloe had decided to wait until Beca entered the second trimester to tell their family. They had hoped to keep it from the Bellas until they told their families, but Sophie had other ideas.
One day, Sophie was at a sleepover with Bella. Stacie and Aubrey suggested it so that Beca and Chloe could have a night out just with the two of them.
The next morning, Beca and Chloe went to Stacie and Aubrey's to pick up Sophie. They had been in the house for a few minutes when Stacie started looking Beca up and down.
"What?" Beca asked, looking down her body to see what Stacie was looking at.
"Have you gained weight?" Stacie asked.
"What? No!" Beca exclaimed. "Wait. Does it look like I've gained weight?"
"If I didn't know any better," Stacie said, smirking. "I'd swear you have a baby bump."
Beca's eyes grew wide and she looked over at Chloe. Chloe was holding her hand in front of her mouth, but Beca could tell she was smiling.
"What did Sophie tell you?" Beca asked as Stacie started laughing
"She mentioned how excited she was to be a big sister," Aubrey responded. "Then she made us promise not to tell anyone."
"It's true," Beca sighed. "I'm pregnant."
"We are really happy for you guys," Aubrey said sincerely. "I'm going to see what's taking Sophie so long."
Aubrey left the room. Stacie walked over and pulled Beca into a hug.
"Congratulations!"
"Do I really look like I have a baby bump?" Beca asked, causing a bout of giggles from Chloe.
"No," Stacie said, chuckling. "I was just yanking your chain to see if you'd tell us."
"Ha-ha," Beca said. "Now you know."
"We'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone," Chloe said. "We still need to tell our folks."
"Does Sophie know she's not supposed to tell?"
"Yes, we told her not to tell anyone," Chloe said.
"We can't really blame her," Beca said. "She's seven and excited to be a big sister. I'm guessing we should tell our folks sooner rather than later."
"I'm okay with that," Chloe said. "Let's go home and call them."
"Let's," Beca said, smiling at Chloe. "Hey, thank you guys for keeping Sophie. Chloe and I had a really nice night together."
"Our pleasure," Stacie said. "She's always a delight to have over. We'll have to plan another sleepover soon."
"Can we, mommy?" Sophie asked as she and Bella raced into the room followed by Aubrey.
"I'm sure we can arrange something," Chloe said.
"Yay!" Sophie and Bella cheered.
"Come on, munchkin," Beca said. "It's time to go home. Give everyone hugs and let's go."
Sophie hugged Bella, then Stacie and Aubrey. The adults hugged as well and soon Beca, Chloe, and Sophie were on their way home.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
Beca called her mother first. She had to hold the phone away from her ear when her mother screamed in excitement.
Beca hesitantly put the phone back to her ear and heard her mother sniffle.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine," Sarah said, sniffling again. "My baby's having a baby."
Sarah was full-on bawling now.
"I'll call you later when you can talk," Beca said.
"Okay," Sarah said.
Beca ended the call and Chloe put her arms around her.
"I take it she's excited," Chloe said chuckling.
"That's putting it mildly," Beca said. "Don't expect the same reaction from my dad."
"I won't," Chloe said. "I'm going to go call my folks. I'll let you know how it goes."
"Okay," Beca said, giving Chloe a quick kiss before pulling up her dad's number.
Beca pressed call on her dad's number and put the phone to her ear.
"Hello," Warren Mitchell's voice came through the phone.
"Hey, dad," Beca said. "How are you?"
"I'm doing well, thank you," Warren said. "How are you? And how are Chloe and Sophie?"
"We're all good," Beca said. "I have some news, good news actually."
"Are you or Chloe pregnant?"
"What? How did-"
"Woo Hoo! I'm going to be a grandfather," Warren yelled.
"Dad?"
"Did you hear that Sheila?" Beca heard her father yell. "We're going to be grandparents."
"Dad!"
"What?"
"Just thought you might want to know that I'm the one who's pregnant," Beca said. "And I'm due around Halloween."
"This is exciting news," Warren said. "Does your mother know?"
"Yeah, she knows," Beca said.
"Good," Warren said. "I want to call her so we can talk about how our baby is going to have a baby."
"Give her a few minutes before you call her," Beca said, chuckling. "She was kind of overwhelmed."
"I will," Warren said. "Congratulations, Beca. Give our congratulations to Chloe, too, okay?"
"I will, dad," Beca said. "I love you guys and I'll talk to you later."
"We love you, too," Warren said and ended the call. "Well, I'll be damned," he muttered with a face-splitting grin.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
"Wow," Beca said, looking down at her phone. "I was not expecting that."
"My folks are happy for us," Chloe said as she walked over to Beca. "What did you dad say?"
"He's, um, he's really excited," Beca said.
"He is?"
"Yeah, surprised me, too."
"I guess we can tell the rest of the Bellas now," Chloe said.
"Can we hold off on telling them for a bit?"
"We can," Chloe said.
"Good," Beca said, kissing Chloe. "What's for dinner?"
"Sophie asked if we could order pizza," Chloe said.
"I could go for some pizza."
"Good, it's settled," Chloe said.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
Beca's pregnancy progressed well. It was late September and Beca was moody, achy, and ready for the baby to be born.
"Come on, babe," Chloe said. "We have to pick up Sophie from Brey's."
"Can't you do it by yourself?" Beca whined. "I'm tired and just want to relax."
"No can do," Chloe said. "You have to go with me."
"But, whyyyyy?"
"Don't you trust me?" Chloe asked. "Just get up so we can go. Sophie is expecting us both to pick her up."
"Why are you trying so hard to get me to go with you? Oh, God," Beca said. "Are they giving us a baby shower?"
"That's not-" Chloe stammered and stopped. She thought for a moment before continuing. "Yes, yes they are. They've been planning it for a couple of months. All the Bellas are going to be there. So, let's go. It'll be fun."
"Alright," Beca said, struggling to stand.
Chloe rushed over and helped Beca up. She kissed Beca and took her hand.
"Let's go," Chloe said and led Beca to the garage.
Fifteen minutes later Beca was standing outside Aubrey and Stacie's house. Chloe opened the door and they walked in.
"Surprise!"
"Oh, my God," Beca said. "You guys."
Stacie was the first to reach Beca and pulled her into a hug.
"You knew didn't you," Stacie whispered in Beca's ear.
"Yeah, Chloe told me," Beca whispered. "Don't be mad at her. I didn't give her much choice because I was being a whiny brat and wasn't going to come with her to get Sophie."
"Just don't tell Aubrey," Stacie said, looking over her shoulder to see Aubrey behind her talking to Chloe. "She's been so excited about surprising you with this shower."
"I won't say anything," Beca promised, as Aubrey approached her.
"Beca," Aubrey said, pulling her into a hug.
"Hey, Aubrey," Beca said, pulling back from the hug. "Thanks so much for all this. It was quite the surprise."
"You're so welcome, Beca," Aubrey said. "We're happy to do it. I'm just glad we managed to surprise you. I thought Chloe would have told by now."
Beca didn't say anything and just looked at Stacie.
"Thank you," Stacie mouthed.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
September morphed into October and, before she knew it, Beca's due date was just a week away. She, Chloe, and Sophie had just returned from getting groceries.
"Do you think we got enough candy for the trick-or-treaters?" Chloe asked, separating the bags of candy from their groceries.
"You do realize we'll be eating most of that, right?" Beca said. "We didn't have a lot of kids last year."
"Mama, are you going trick-or-treating with me this year?" Sophie asked.
"Sorry, Sophie," Beca said. "I don't think I can do all that walking."
"I'll go with you, Soph," Chloe said, looking at her daughter. "I'll even wear a costume."
"Yay!" Sophie cheered. "May I watch TV?"
"Sure," Chloe said.
Sophie thanked her mother and ran out of the kitchen. Chloe finished putting the groceries away and noticed Beca wincing and holding her stomach.
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked, putting her hand on Beca's arm.
"Yeah," Beca said, smiling. "Baby Beale just kicked."
Chloe immediately put her hand on Beca's stomach and felt around a bit. Beca took her hand and placed it on a particular area.
"There it is!" Chloe squealed, smiling at Beca.
"They are being very active today," Beca said. "And now I really have to pee. Excuse me."
Beca hurried out of the kitchen and Chloe smiled as she went to see what Sophie was watching.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
It was just past Midnight on Halloween morning, and Beca and Chloe were in bed. Chloe had put on some soft music as Beca tried to relax enough to go to sleep; it wasn't working. She sat up and put her pillow behind her back and leaned against the headboard.
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked.
"I can't get to sleep," Beca whined.
"What can I do to help you fall asleep?" Chloe asked, copying Beca and leaning back against the headboard.
"Talk to me," Beca said.
"Are you saying that talking to me is so boring that it will put you to sleep?"
"What? No!"
"Okay, then," Chloe said, chuckling. "What do you want to talk about?"
"Do you think we should come up with names for the baby now?" Beca asked. "We can pick a boy and a girl's name. That way we aren't rushing to give the baby a name when it's born."
"I'm guessing you have some ideas?"
"Maybe," Beca said smirking.
"Tell me," Chloe said.
"I was thinking Jack for a boy," Beca said.
"How did you come up with that name?" Chloe asked. "We don't have anyone on either side of the family named Jack. I don't even think we know anyone named Jack."
"Okay, hear me out."
"Oh, wow. This is going to be good. Go ahead, tell me why you picked Jack for our son's name."
Beca chuckled and looked at Chloe. "So, you know how I'm the Gweat Punkin?"
"Ye-eah?"
"And I'm the one carrying our little punkin?" Beca said. "Or should I say, carrying our little jack-o'-lantern?"
Beca laughed at the look on Chloe's face.
"NOOO!" Chloe said, sitting up straight in the bed. "We are not naming our son Jack O'Lantern Beale."
Beca was holding her side from laughing so hard at Chloe's reaction.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding," Beca said still laughing. The laugher died quickly and Beca suddenly grabbed her side. "Oh!?"
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know," Beca said, wincing and grimacing. "I just felt a really sharp pain. That's like the third time now."
"Oh, my God," Chloe said, jumping out of bed. "I think this is it."
"You think this is what?"
"I think you're in labor." Chloe grabbed some sweats and quickly changed.
"Owww!" Beca yelled and started panting. "I think, ugh, I think you might be right."
Chloe grabbed some clothes and threw them at Beca. "Get dressed, while I call Brey to see if we can drop Sophie off on our way to the hospital."
"Okay," Beca said, grabbing the clothes and getting out of bed. "Ahhhh!"
Beca was bent over at the waist and Chloe ran over to her. She helped Beca change her clothes.
"I'm going to wake Sophie," Chloe said. "Do you think you can make it downstairs okay?"
"I think so," Beca said. "I'll call Stacie while you get Sophie."
"Okay," Chloe said and rushed off to Sophie's room.
Beca started down the stairs and had to stop halfway because another pain hit her.
"Ahhhhhh," Beca cried out.
Chloe rushed to the stairs with Sophie in her arms.
"Mama?" Sophie called out, causing Beca to look up at her.
"Oh, hey, Soph," Beca said. "Are you ready to meet your, AHHHHHH, baby brother or sister?"
"Beca," Chloe said, walking down the steps to where Beca stood bent over. "Your pains are coming awfully close together. I think I should call an ambulance for you."
"No," Beca said. "Let's just take Sophie with us and we'll call Aubrey on the way to see if she can meet us there."
"Fine," Chloe said, wanting to argue, but thought better of it. "Let's go then."
Chloe got Beca and Sophie situated in the car and got behind the wheel. Beca moaned again and Chloe said, "I'll call Brey."
Chloe used the car's Bluetooth and placed the call to Aubrey just as she was pulling out of the garage. Aubrey answered and Chloe explained what was going on. Aubrey woke Stacie and told her what was happening.
The pain was unbearable to Beca. She tried to hold in her screams so she wouldn't scare Sophie. Stacie could hear Beca's muted screams through the phone.
"We'll wake Bella and meet you guys at the hospital," Aubrey said. "Although from the sound of it, Baby Beale may beat us there."
"Thanks, guys," Chloe said and ended the call. "Hold on, babe. We'll be there in just a few minutes."
"Hurry," Beca said, holding her lower stomach. "I think it's ready to come out."
Chloe pressed down on the accelerator.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
Forty-five minutes later, Aubrey, Stacie, and Bella came running into the emergency room to find Chloe sitting alone, holding Sophie as tears ran down her face.
Aubrey looked at Stacie before hesitantly calling Chloe's name.
"Chloe? Sorry, it took us so long. Bella didn't want to wake up. Is, um, is everything okay?"
Tears were streaming down Chloe's face as she slowly turned her head to look at Aubrey.
"We have a son," Chloe whispered.
"Oh, thank, God," Stacie whispered. "Is Beca okay?"
"Beca's fine; so's the baby," Chloe said. "I'm just stunned. It all happened so fast. He was born in the parking lot."
"What?" Aubrey said.
"We got here and I rushed inside to get help," Chloe explained, still in somewhat of a daze. "When we got out to the car, Beca was screaming that she could feel the head. Five minutes later, he was out."
"Mrs. Beale?" A nurse stood in front of Chloe. "Your wife and son are settled in their room. If you'd like to follow me, I can take you to them."
"You go on," Aubrey said. "We'll come after you've had a few minutes with Beca and your son."
"Oh, okay," Chloe said, taking Sophie's hand as they followed the nurse.
The nurse stopped outside Beca's room and held the door for Chloe and Sophie. Sophie squealed when she saw Beca holding the baby.
"Hey, Sophie," Beca said softly. "Come meet your baby brother."
Sophie's eyes widened when Chloe lifted her and set her on the bed next to Beca.
"Hi, brother," Sophie whispered, taking the baby's hand and kissing it. "He's so tiny. What's his name?"
"Jack," Beca said, grinning up at Chloe.
Chloe glared at Beca but then smiled. "He does kind of look like a Jack. I like it and I think it suits him."
"I thought we could use my maiden name for his middle name," Beca said. "So, he'd be Jack Mitchell Beale. What do you think?"
"I like it," Chloe said, leaning down to kiss Beca. She leaned further and kissed the newborn's head. "Hi, Jack Mitchell Beale. Welcome to the world. I'm your mommy."
"And, I'm your big sister, Sophie," Sophie said, copying Chloe and kissing Jack's head.
~~ The Gweat Punkin's Little Punkin ~~
Aubrey and Stacie came to see the newest addition to the Beale family. Bella whined about being tired so they left after a few minutes. Chloe asked if they would take Sophie with them. They agreed and promised to come back before they took Bella and Sophie trick-or-treating.
"Sophie can stay with us until tomorrow," Stacie said. "I'm sure the girls will like having a sleepover."
"Can I, mommy?" Sophie asked.
"Yes," Chloe said, smiling at Sophie. "Thanks, Stacie. That will be such a big help to us."
After Aubrey and Stacie left with Sophie, Chloe called her and Beca's parents to let them know that Jack had been born and that Beca and the baby were both fine.
Several hours later, Chloe was holding Jack and walking back and forth at the foot of Beca's bed when Aubrey and Stacie returned with Sophie and Bella; both were dressed in their Halloween costumes.
Sophie ran over to Chloe and stood on her tiptoes to try and see Jack. Chloe moved to the side of the bed and sat in the chair so Sophie could see him better.
"Mommy," Sophie said, looking up at Chloe. "Will the Gweat Punkin come tonight since mama and Jack are in the hospital?"
"Um, I don't think so, sweetie," Chloe said. "Jack's too little for candy and mama's a grownup. The Great Pumpkin only visits sick children."
"But he came to see you when you were sick," Sophie said. "The night mama asked us to marry her."
Chloe shifted in her seat and tried to think of something to say. Beca smiled at Chloe and opened he mouth to say something, but was stopped when the door opened and Fat Amy peeked in.
"Mind if we come in?"
"Come on in, Amy," Chloe said.
"Look who I found," Amy said as she entered the room.
"Gweat Punkin!" Sophie squealed, scrambling off the bed.
Sophie ran over and put her arms around the Gweat Punkin, smiling as she looked up at him. Bella joined Sophie in hugging the Great Pumpkin. Both were laughing and smiling.
"What am I, chopped liver?" Fat Amy said as she held out her arms for a hug.
Sophie rolled her eyes as she and Bella gave Amy a hug.
Chloe's mouth dropped open as she looked at Beca. Beca looked back at her and shrugged.
"Is that Bumper?" Chloe whispered as she placed Jack in Beca's arms.
"If Amy is here," Beca said with a smile as she looked down at her son. "I'm pretty sure that's Bumper."
"I want to see my new nephew," Fat Amy said as she walked over to the bed.
"Is that Bumper?" Chloe asked Amy, looking over at the Great Pumpkin.
"Yes," Amy replied, looking down at Jack. "Oy, he's so tiny and so freakin' adorable."
"How is Bumper here?" Chloe asked. "And dressed like that?"
"His niece is in the hospital because she fell and got a nasty bump on her head," Amy said, looking to make sure Sophie and Bella were still too busy to pay attention to them. "She has to stay overnight and was upset that she wasn't going to be able to go trick-or-treating, so Bumper pulled out the old costume and came to see her. We got Aubrey's text that Beca was here and had the baby, so I told Bumper and here we are."
"I knew you'd come," Sophie said, taking the Great Pumpkin's hand. "Come see my new brother."
The Great Pumpkin allowed himself to be led to the bed. Bella walked over and stood next to Stacie.
"He's so cute," Bumper said. He cleared his throat and looked at Beca. "I am the Great Pumpkin and I have come to give Beca Beale candy because she's in the hospital and can't go trick-or-treating."
He set a plastic pumpkin filled with candy on the end of the bed.
"What about Jack?" Sophie asked. "Did you bring him candy, too?"
"Who's Jack?" The Great Pumpkin asked.
"My brother!" Sophie said, putting her hands on her hips and looking up at him. "Aren't you supposed to know these things?"
Chloe and Beca giggled at their daughter's stance. They could practically see Bumper's face redden through his costume.
"He's new," the Great Pumpkin stammered. "He isn't on my list yet."
"Oh," Sophie said and climbed onto Chloe's lap. "That's okay, he's too little for candy anyway."
Amy looked down at Jack again and smiled. "Hey there, little fella," she cooed. "I'm your Aunt Amy."
A few minutes later, Jack started fussing.
"I think he's hungry," Beca said.
"Um," Chloe said, looking at everyone.
"We should go," Stacie said, realizing that Beca needed to breastfeed Jack. "We still have to go trick-or-treating!"
"Yay!" Bella and Sophie cheer.
"Have fun, sweetie," Chloe said, hugging Sophie. "We'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay, mommy," Sophie said, climbing onto the bed to give Beca and Jack a kiss before leaving.
"We should go, too," Fat Amy said. "Come on Great Pumpkin, I think there are some other sick kids who need candy."
Amy and Bumper said their goodbyes and left.
Beca opened her gown and Jack latched onto her breast. Chloe sat watching them with a beaming smile.
Jack fell asleep and Beca asked Chloe to place him in the bassinet so she could rest. Chloe did so, kissing him on the forehead before moving to snuggle next to Beca on the bed.
"I love you," Chloe said, leaning up to kiss Beca.
Beca put her hand over her mouth as she yawned.
"I love you, too," Beca whispered before her eyes closed.
Chloe looked at Beca and smiled when she noticed Beca was sleeping. She settled closer and let her own eyes close, joining her wife and son in sleep.
